Customer service is AWFUL!!!! They are NEVER at the office. They dont return phone calls. The staff are nice once they DECIDE to call you back or respond but they dont acknowledge the fact that they were careless with your time. Its like Im calling you now, so whats the problem, smh. The only plus I can give them is their maintenance guy is on it and rent is reasonable. I guess you cant have it all🙄

Even before I was under contract with a property I had a conversation with Micca Thompson of Principle Property Management about the market in Peoria and different neighborhoods in order to get an idea of what rents were like for the area. Based off of our conversation I knew I would go with this company as my PM for my long distance investments. Getting them on board after closing on the property was seamless. They quickly found a qualified tenant and I am starting to get positive cash flow! Very recommended. They also use a PM app that makes it very easy to see the ins/outs of my account.

PPM was incredibly helpful in finding a residence for my family and I when we moved from out of state. Their website was easy to use and I found their response time to be prompt. After occupying the property, I had a couple non-emergent maintenance issues that were resolved within a week, and one major emergency that was resolved immediately!I had contact with multiple employees, and was always pleased with their customer service and ability and willingness to answer any questions. I will use them in the future and I do recommend PPM to friends and family!

I have worked with Principle Property since 2011 to rent our daughters house. They have done an excellent job screening potential renters and also dealing with issues that may arise with the property or the tenants. They are very attentive when I visit the office and spend time listening and responding to the questions and concerns I have had at various times. They are experienced, efficient, and very knowledgeable about the ins and outs of rental properties. I have seen that if our renters communicate with them, they are happy to work with them to accommodate within reason their needs.We are thankful for them and the way theyve guided and assisted us.

She was very helpful not only in listing & selling my last last two homes but took away any and all the angst that goes with the whole process especially this last move which moved me to a whole other state. She took the time to explain each step in the process and made herself available to answer all my questions no matter how insignificant. Words cannot express my gratitude. Shawn is awkward. He stands there and doesnt say anything when showing a property. When he does speak, hes rude. Doesnt answer the phone or call back once you sign the lease.* Update *My Dad lives here. They respond to a negative review faster than an issue a resident has.

Ive known Shawn personally for many years and he is of high character. I recently met his staff and they seem friendly, personable and knowledgeable. In property management, like most industries, people with good things to say will rarely leave reviews and the few minority complainers will. Principle Property Management is a good choice for property management in the Peoria area.

Guess, I should’ve held onto my 50 dollars and read the reviews 1st. Micca, completely lied about contacting the applicants about a follow-up. She stated if I want ahead and comply he applied I’d know something back by Friday... here it is Tuesday and “NOTHING!” We’re now out of a 100 dollars, because they’re using the COVID-19 as the reason why they’re not responding timely.Responding timely is one thing but not replying AT ALL is another.I think the company is banking on the application fees. Being that the properties are nice and people want them. This is NO WAY to run a business.They even have a Facebook Chat on their page and it shares an Immediate response... that to is a lie and when they do it’s COMPLETELY impersonal.People are trying to build lives and families and this is the service they get w/ this company. If you don’t have enough staff. HIRE MORE!I will be posting this EVERYWHERE. You will not find a group that is more knowledgeable of the local marketplace than that at Principle Property Management. From the top down, this group has established themselves as the “go to” in Peoria. Shawn, Micca, and Lyndsey are all experienced professionals that are highly responsive and sensitive to the needs and requirements of local property owners.

Positive, and nondescript in the best way. They provide a useful online tenant portal, timely responses to maintenance requests, and an error-free billing apparatus. The grounds are well-maintaned, etc. The best compliment I can pay them is that you dont notice them at all. A smooth operation.

I tried to list my property for rent through this company. The office manager seemed nice at first, but then stopped responding when I had questions about the contract. She didnt answer the phone or return my voicemails or emails, and its now been over a month since I heard from her. If this is the level of service they give when theyre trying to sell me on the service, I cant imagine how it is after signing the contract.

Principle Property Management and Woodsage Apartments are a hidden gem within Peoria. The two bedroom apartments are very nice. My apartments are cherry with cherry trim throughout the apartment. They are spacious and clean. The appliances are nice and relatively new. The neighborhood is quiet. You can occasionally hear a neighbor, but usually you cant. Management is responsive to maintenance requests. I would recommend them to others.

Would give them zero stars if I could. Was very interested in a property on Virginia in Peoria and my mother is already a tenant of principle properties so I asked her to speak with the maintenance man about the place and ask him what would be the quickest way to view it, since I had left numerous emails and messages with no response. He tells me to fill out an application online and so on so I did. They sent me an email saying I could view the property the following morning then cancelled at 10pm that night via email saying the property had been rented. Well if it had been rented why tf even set up a time for me to view it? And guess who moved in? The maintenance mans relatives😂 so he either knew the whole time or he under handedly told them he was interested after my mom showed him pictures. Either way I wouldn’t rent or apply for another property if you were giving them away.

I live in the Woodsage apartments and love it here! The management takes care of just about everything. Anytime I have a concern or question, there is someone available to help. I definitely recommend checking out properties managed by them.

Woodsage Apartments is a great place to live. The apartments are well designed and have great features including washer and dryers in every apartment. They will soon have 1 Br apartments available that should be perfect for young professionals. The pricing for these is also very good for the Peoria area, you wont be dissapointed...!

Although they are nice looking apartments. They are also loaded with cheap materials that fail and getting anything fixed properly is a struggle. I would not recommend for the price.

Friendly staff. The apartments are very high quality. Close to everything you need. I would live here again if I moved back to Peoria.

Terrible experience. Extremely poor customer service. Background check and criminal review is broken and took two days to complete. Scheduling for a view created additional problems. The rest of the process was the worst I have come across in 20 years. The management team did not provide an experience that fosters a sense of competency in their delivery. A lot of neglect in the way they deliver an opportunity to find a place to rest in. Definitely not the team you want to trust your living space to. Along the way I had policies defined and then after meeting their requirements the policies mysteriously changed. Very difficult to move through the steps needed to rent an apartment. A disappointing uphill battle to become a tenant. Try looking around the area and find a different property and management team. It will add benefits of reducing the stress and frustration in your life. It could have been better... Larry

Staff is impersonal for rental and maintenance. Their preference is to be reached by email vs. phone. Properties are nice because they are new, but maintenance response is TERRIBLE. The worst I have ever experienced. Still waiting on request submitted 2 mos. ago.

This place is horrible I was very interested in a apartment in Washington and kepts calling them daily to see it and never got any response !! So unprofessional its unreal !!! Missed out on a amazing apartment because if them will never recommend them to anyone !!

Most impressed when I first moved in and the deadbolt did not work, they came the day I moved in to get the problem resolved. Every request has been answered.

Worst management ever, they just dont want to fix or respond to any maintenance request in timely manner, it literally take weeks and several reminders to get anything fixed.

Poor Customer Service.. Not Responsive.
