Poor kid had no idea what he was doing. Spent 10 minutes trying a beard trim with 4 different guides. Never touched a comb, brush, or scissors. Went from here to SportsClips and was done 20 minutes later. I waited at this barber longer with zero to show for it.

Went to get a haircut for a wedding so I figured Id go to a place that cost a little more, essentially expecting a little more. Made an appointment with Boris. Nice guy, but the cut didnt turn out well. So I went back in the next day to show him what I was aiming for with the pictures on my phone (again) and hopefully get fixed up. Of course he charged me again (I actually half expected it) and it didnt turn out well at all...sigh (all told $80 later). I just smiled, gave him a thumbs up and left. I read online that these Barbers are their own little businesses so theres really no one to speak/appeal to. Long story short, I believe that the magic to a good haircut is not with a nice establishment, or a well known chain... Its with the individual stylist. I guess Im still looking for that special person.

UNBELIEVABLE RUDE!!!! Walked in and asked when is your next available appointment? The guy yelled and said You need an appointment! I then replied isnt that what I just ask you? He then said sorry GIVE YOUR MONEY TO ANYONE ELSE! These people will judge you as soon as you walk in!

This is not a corporate owned Zip N Zap shop. Locally owned. Barbers with many years of experience.Check out Borris. Hes new to the team. He came to CR with 40 years experience from NYC. He cut my hair today. Impeccable. He maybe older, but he can cut any style you want.Prices are slightly higher at this shop. Remember, you get what you pay for.

I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to find a chill place to get their hair cut. My experience here has made me realize I need to come back to this barbershop. I would recommend getting a cut from Bobby, he asked you if everything is ok, which shows how much respect he has for his customers. We had our first visit to this barbershop today for my 11 year old son. Weve tried other places in Castle Rock and havent had good luck at all. I made an appointment online (so easy!) with Bobby and we are so happy to have found a fantastic barber! He was friendly and put my shy son at ease instantly. He is the 1st person to take his time and gave my son a great cut! He couldnt stop looking in the mirror on the drive home 😊 Well be back!

Nice and clean. I had to fix my husbands hair when he got home. The haircut was average but I had to straighten it out when he got home. The front and sides were both uneven.

I’m 60 years old and retired from the military so I’ve had a few haircuts. Boris gave me the best cut I think I’ve ever gotten. He’s a pro and it shows. Amazing really.

Went there for the first time on Saturday and met with Bobby. Being a Marine im very particular about paying attention to detail. Well Bobby didnt disappoint. Perfect hair cut (Marine Corp High and Tight) and a beard trim. I would highly recommend going to see Bobby.

My husband loves Carla! She is able to do a great high and tight cut. My husband was in the military and he is very picky on how his hair looks. She is great and takes her time. Be careful with how you tell certain Barbers there on how to cut your hair, because mine was butchered! I thought I made it pretty clear on how I wanted my face, and it was cut how HE wanted it and not how I wanted it. I asked for a mid-fade, and it was cut all the way up the side of my head, even my neck line was super crooked.And when I contacted the owner the next day, I didnt even hear back until I contacted him again 3 days later. And then no accountability nor customer service skills at all. Most places would offer for you to come back in and get fixed up, but not this place. He stated he is no ones boss even though he owns the place, and not even an offer to fix my neck line, partial refund, NOTHING to offer to make it right and to save a first time customer.I was absolutely appalled by his complete lack of customer service. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE, FOR THEY HAVE ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS! DEFINITELY THE WORST HAIRCUT IVE GOTTEN IN AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER!!

When my family and I moved to the area we knew it was going to be a challenge to find a new provider for our hair cuts. The kids didn’t like the “run of the mill” cheap shops and my husband will only see an experienced barber. Finding one they all liked seemed to be a monumental task. We started asking our neighbors and kept getting they same answer….”Castle Rock Barbers”. We booked appointments for them all and Bobby was the one we saw. Kids were nervous and he was quick to get them to trust him. He had suggested ways of handling their at times difficult hair with some very simple and easy tricks. Husband who tend to be very picky has stopped jumping from barber to barber and settled in with confidence in the skilled hands of Bobby. Our kids love going in to see him and getting that pampered barber routine knowing he makes them look and feel good about themselves.

Greg Rodgers did an excellent job trimming my beard and was a pleasure to talk with. Unlike other so called Barber shops in Castle Rock these guys are true barbers and skilled beard trimmers.

I walked in this morning and was greeted by a man, “Do you have an appointment?” We did not and they seemed very annoyed to have to schedule one. We left and are going back to our normal barber in Castle Rock, which are always nice to customers even if they are swamped. It was worth a shot. They may be excellent barbers but no one seems to be happy about it. Hopefully, they are kinder to those who have an appointment. They should also add a sign “Walk In’s Not Welcome”

I made an appointment for the first time with Greg yesterday for later that same day. It was very easy to make my appointment online. I got there and was greeted by one of the other barbers and they had me in the chair within 10 minutes of my appointment starting. I was very worried because I have had a very hard time finding a good barber. I showed Greg a picture of what I wanted and he knew extactly what to do. I was very pleased with my haircut and will definitely be back.

I have taken my son to this barber shop at least 3 other times before today, asking for the exact same haircut for him never with any issues. Today though I had a very disappointing experience. I had a reservation time with Bobby to cut my sons hair. We walk in and Im asked if Im wanting to keep the length that he has and when I said most of it he refused to cut it. He basically said he only does shaved haircuts and not capable of doing a trim for my son.......really? No other barber there has had any issues! On the home page of their website it states highly trained.....up to date styles.. I disagree with this statement since a simple trim was too hard and I was forced to take my son somewhere else. They were booked up and I dont have time to wait around for the next available capable barber to give my son a trim. Dont claim to have highly trained barbers if they cant provide a simple haircut......or at least put it on your website that this particular barber can ONLY shave heads.

First class service for a very reasonable price. I walked in during a very busy time of the day. They were able to fit me in. Bobby made my fade and part look very sharp!! I dont care what kinda hair you have. Hes got that magic touch.

Friendly atmosphere and good results... when I can get in. It seems they have a hard time either managing their schedule or understanding their own schedule. I either show up on time and wait for a half hour while they finish up with the previous customer or, I call for an opening then show up and there isnt an opening as described.

Unfortunately Im a first and last customer. I recently just moved to the area and really wanted to give this place a chance after reading all the great reviews. I had an appointment for 12:15 with Meghan, sat down and waited. About 30 minutes go by, Im still waiting as other customers come in and are seen immediately. At this point after still not being seen for my appointment, I decided to leave as a customers time is valuable. Im sure the haircuts are good and the owner seems like a good dude as I was greeted by him when I walked in. Sadly, it seems like if youre already a regular customer, you get special treatment over new customers.

CRB barbers are the only people I trust with my beard and mustache. They are an authentic barbers performing haircuts, straight razor shaves, beard and mustache trims.! Two of the staff are second generation barbers.An appointment is a must every day except Saturday. Saturday is walk-ins only but get there early.The restrooms are extremely clean. Linens are provided for drying hands. There are a couple of childrens chairs and a small table down the hallway, but within sight of the waiting area in the front.

This Barber Shop is great! I just had my hair cut by Tyler, and he is a great guy as well as a great barber. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend!

I found Bobby and this place bc the place I had mistaken as a reliable barbershop let me down. I had an hour before my appt and Bobby got me looking and feeling fresh! Tyler and Cindy (Cyndi?) are great. I have been there three times now, and this will be my regular spot from now on. I think they are trying to add a third barber, but as of right now they are the only two, and Ive gotten a cut from each. Both did a wonderful job. Prices are comparable (if not a little less) than other places in town. Dont mind walking in and waiting, they have wifi and a a couple nice flat screens with sports, etc.. on. I believe Tylers wife operates the hair salon next door for the ladies. Gents, give it a try, especially if this is closer/cheaper or youre just considering a change.

I’ve seen some reviews here that I’m not the only customer that has made an appointment for a certain time and was left there waiting for 20 minutes to half an hour past the designated appointment time.I really wanted to try this barber shop but the fact that I had an appointment with Greg and by the time I walked in (5 minutes prior to my appointment) he was just getting start on someone’s cut. I was being very patient, yet every time I would look over, it seemed like there was no sense of urgency to maintain appointment times.Maybe it’s just because I’m not from this area but in terms of respect, this man seemed to have no intention of getting my haircut on time, let alone getting me out of there before they closed up.While I sat in the barbershop, people were coming in and out, hoping to get a walk in appointment and they were pushing them away saying they were full all day. I made the appointment for when I had time to get this done, not whenever the person providing the service “feels like it”. If you’re pushing customers away and not fulfilling other customers appointment times, I don’t know how one can make a solid profit from a business run like that.I would always go to an old-school barber just like CRB back home but if this is how CRB runs their business I’ll just go to Supercuts or SportClips instead to actually get my haircut the same day I had an appointment for one.
