Ive been to this place for AC Repair, tire change, and oil checks- they always work hard to handle jobs quickly, promptly, and professionally. The staff (especially Carlos, Chris, and Julie Ann) are friendly and polite, and you can tell that, the way they talk to the customers, they care about their clientele and giving excellent service.It is a pleasure to sit and wait in their lobby, listening to the staff as they banter back and forth with the visitors to their shop, and though I have moved from the Hollywood area, I gladly return to have my car serviced at this spot.

This place is a great family owned business👍🏼 Ricardo and his team are attentive, knowledgeable, honest and have awesome customer services skills. My family and I all have been bringing our cars here for 3 years now and will continue to do so. 🏎💨💯

The entire crew is fantastic. Judie-Ann is amazing - she is knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. Ricardo is superb - his expertise is unmatched. Very honest, reliable, and efficient. They will work with you and do what they can to help the customer. I came here a few months ago to get my brakes replaced, and the entire crew stayed late past their shift to make sure my brakes were done correctly. Im back again for a multitude of repairs and they were very thorough. Its hard to find an honest place to take your vehicle - when you find one like this, hold on to it. They have earned my repeat business.

I went for a simple $24.95 oil change.They called me and said I had a massive oil leak. I said no thanks just do the oil change.. the lady said we cant its company policy. THERE WAS NO MASSIVE OIL LEAK. It was a huge lie! I took a mechanic from our church with me to pick it up. No one was at the desk. Then the mechanic came to wait on us. I said I had the 1999 Honda civic. He said oh yeah, then handed me the key. We turned to go but he spoke up again and said I had the car jacked up and he parts in my hand and there already was a puddle of oil. Total lie. We said no thanks and went to check the car. The oil was not low and no puddle once we moved the car. Then I remembered while waiting to get my appointment a dear retired black lady had been swindled to repair her car when all she had come in to do was a simple oil change. They GOTHer for over $2250. After signing her paperwork and th credit card scheme she called someone and said, all I came in for was an oil change, and they are practically remaking my car. How terrible to rip this poor lady off. DO NOT GO TO THE PEMBROKE ROAD AND FLAMINGO RD BRANCH. WOW, WHAT A BUNCH OF ILLEGAL SCAMMERS!!

I typically don’t write reviews but due to the amazing customer service I received, this is the least I could do. After having a disastrous experience with a mobile mechanic, I brought my car to Midas. Please let me serve as warning to everyone, pay the money and go with Midas!!! Not only did Richardo explain in details all the services I needed and why....and most importantly, he doubled checked the previous work and was able to resolve the problems. My car is running like it’s brand new and a special kudos to the lovely Miss Judy Ann, thank you for patience.

Been here twice. Once for an oil change and another for tires and alignment. So far, excellent service! Julie at the front is just so sweet. They always take care of everything fast and do a great job. Truly professional. Glad I found a place to take my car that I like and trust. :)

I went for an oil change and a wheel alignments, quote for an oil change was $59 + tax and they wouldn’t accept an advertise 20% discount, final price at the door was more than $72 because they added like $7 SUPLY SHOP and miscellaneous that it wasn’t disclosed when I was presented with the quote never mind the girl at the front desk came up from the shop with $4,000 worth of repair need it, the girl was so pushy for me to fill up a credit application to get the job needed done even though I told her that I have a bad credit (lied about it to get off my back)she was still pushing with a different program.I’ve decided not to the wheel alignment but the oil change only which I find ridiculos to pay for SUPPLY SHOP.MIDAS needs to do something about this franchisee ruin a good name.

Waited 5 hours and never ended up getting the part I needed replaced. No one explained the situation, and they missed a light being out which I specifically asked to be replaced on top of it all.

Came here for an oil change was up sold to Synthetic oil not a problem but turns out that they changed the sticker but never changed the oil so my car has been running without oil and mind you it wasn’t leaking oil when I brought it or when I left

Took my car to Midas PPines because one tire lost air. First they drove my car without a mask into the garage. During examination (tires) the mechanicwas smoking a cigarette (in the garage, beyond the car). They found a nail but denied to repair it and recommended us instead a new tire. People friendlyand service fast but we felt shortchanged.

So my recent visit to a new Midas location was amazing. The one by my house is nice and all but there is never a time when I would be in and out like I was today. Usually I am stuck there for two hours whether or not I had made an appointment - not today! This location is my new spot.I had the best help from the front desk, Judie-Ann, who explained everything and got my car right in. Professional and fast — definitely worth a visit here!

Worse customer service ever. Super rude not professional at all. We had something replaced with them and it broke again and is under warranty. They told us they’d fix it again free of charge since it is under warranty. They said it would take a day or so to get the piece... it’s been 1 week.... and when you call to ask about the service that it’s not in that they will call back and don’t call back they don’t update us on anything. Over here driving around with broken pumps in the car. You all should be ashamed.

This place will scam you out your money !!! Yesterday I went to check my tire pressure because my tire light was still on after putting air in it prior to going there. They checked my tires and told me a bunch of lies and how I needed to replace my two front tires. I knew they were tryna get off on me because I’m young. So I left and got back in my car and my tire light was no longer on. If I would of never went back to my car they would of got $218 out of me!

If you want one of their workers to not wear a mask and sit in your car for 10 minutes for absolutely no reason then come here. Literally sat in my car doing nothing using my AC with no mask on touching things.

Great experience. I’m normally hesitant to go to big brand name auto service centers, but this one is independently owned. I spoke to a few guys and the service was amazing. They operate like a private company (privately owned) and charge the best rates. Can’t recommend them enough. Go here for your tires, auto service, oil change you name it. You’re in good hands.

Pretty disappointed at how overpriced a simple oil change is here. Was quoted $100 for a 2019 Jetta SE (incl. the purchase of a $59 Groupon). Took the car to my regular mechanic the following day and was charged $58.Safe to say Ill just drive a few extra miles to the mechanic for future changes.

The overall experience was excellent, they found me the best price and the customer service was excellent, this is why I continue to go there. They wouldnt even let me remove the tire from the trunk they wanted to handle it all. They serve me fresh coffee and cold water bottles if you ask. Good job, would definitely recommend to everyone!

This was my first time to this shop and I went there because I had a flat tire where the valve stem had broken off and I couldnt air up my tire. I walked in and asked how much they would charge me to replace the valve stem and get my good tire back on the truck. The Gentleman told me it was free and no charge. After they put my truck in the bay they informed me it was not just a valve stem but in fact a pressure sensor inside the tire that I had never heard of. So he showed me what it was and said this happens quite a bit and I could plainly see they had tons of them in stock. Of course I had to pay for that but no labor and he also showed me with a little computer on all 4 wheels that all my sensors were good including the one they had just installed. They are sure all 4 wheels were up to spec on pressure, put my spare back up under my truck and I was on my way. Bottom line is. The staff at this shop were extremely friendly, helpful & outgoing. I would highly recommend! **5***

These guys are wonderful!!!!! They fixed my 2008 Escalade and it runs like brand new! I love my car again. Had some engine repair work done. Runs like a dream. Could not be happier. These guys are good and I love their honesty. Would recommend to everyone who needs work done.

DO NOT GO HERE!! They all are rip-offs and crooks! From the cashier to the manager! I went to change a rear light bulb. And ask to have the vehicle check for any additional issues since I was there. The technician came back with $2,400 worth of issues. Which was all B.S. because I take my car to the deal for service on a regular. Theyre exploiting the national brand

These people are scam artist. BEWARE!!!!! My boyfriend went to Midas and was told he had a evap leak.They did a smoke test that showed no leak. So they changed the sensors. These sensors cost $20 each but they charged $100 each plus an installation fee of $150 for each sensor. Then they tried charging the card without his permission for an amount over $400 for work he did not authorize. When he contacted them complaining of the charge Juan Vasquez said it was a mistake. The car has been there all day now it is closing time and Juan Vasquez calls and says the fuel pump is broken. This was not broken when we brought in the car.The car was drivable and was driven to Midas. Juan Vasquez gives a quote of well over $1000 dollars to fix the fuel pump. My boyfriend complained and said the fuel pump was not broken. At this time Juan Vasquez says he has a friend that can steal the part for $180 and that he can do the repair at his house for $250. The only reason he went to Midas was because he had recently done an oil change where they shorted him 2 qts so he has a credit.my boyfriend went back and request everything to be put back how it was. He than had to tow the car to a trusted mechanic. It is crazy how your employees broke the fuel pump which was working fine when the car got there. The car was just taken in to check on a Evap leak nothing more. Your employees are taking advantage during a time of crisis due to the pandemic it is shameful and disappointing. I will be sharing my review on several social media sites. This is disgusting behavior for a big company such as midas

I would like to congratulate Midas for having a great team of professionals at your Pembroke Pines location. My car was in need of a new coil, spark plugs, gasket and alternator. My car was fixed in a timely manner so it is now reliable. They were honest and thorough which is very rare these days. A special thanks to Ricardo and Carlos who took care of my car and were always professional. I would highly recommend this Midas location to anyone with car issues. I used a Groupon for a synthetic oil change for $59. I get the Midas and end up having more on top of the Groupon for shop costs ($46.92). They then have the audacity to tell me I need this, that, and a new tire because of a nail. Needless to say on further inspection at home, the nail was a rock. I advise to be cautious

Not from Florida but stopped here for a quick oil change. Was impressed with the quick service. Not knowing the area well I was concerned with quality of the work. Carlos was the guy that worked on my car. I watched him change my oil with gloves on, I was very Impressed. No stains on my car steering wheel, very quick services and I definitely recommend this spot.

I will not be going to any other tire shop but this one a full service not just tire so its a major convenience without having to go around to different places they meet all your vehicle needs . A wonderful environment and great customer service they got me in on a timely manner and understood my time frame and made sure i not only had my car on time but made sure i had it earlier then the time they estimated due to customers in the shop!!!!!

I went to Midas in Pembroke Pines to find out why my car was over heating. They accepted my car without an appointment and gave me an estimate on how long the inspection would take. The mechanics found the problem and they were able to do the repairs the same day, most other repair shops and dealerships around here take 2-3 days. But the most notable part of my visit was seeing how the employees treated the guests. Promptly, familiar and neighborly! Its nice to see such hospitality!

Excellent staff, service, very fair pricing.This place was recommended by a friend of mine. I had to make a difficult decision to put substantial work into an old vehicle. They gave me very honest feedback and in no way pushed for the work to be performed (in fact, even suggested it may not be worth it if I was looking to upgrade within a given period of time). I ultimately decided to get it serviced, and its running great. The staff was very professional, friendly, and explained the mechanics and resolution in detail, which was very much appreciated.

My car overheated. I was concerned because I took it in later in the afternoon. But they repaired in a timely manner and I was able to drive it home that same day without having to leave it overnight.They are the best. Also they provide a finance program that is awesome. 😊 Thx Carlos!

Bad job, bad personal, I go with my chevy silverado with a noise from my muffler, I paid $400 dollars to fixed. I tried to get my money back but they dont give me a refound. I have to go back like 4 times to fixed and finally the last one for now its not making noise. Dont go to that midas, they are robber with no guns. 7/23/2020 I came at 9 am and is 12:30 Im still here waiting. Really bad service.

I had a chance to spend several hours at this Midas while waiting for my car and honestly I’m very impressed. Judie Ann is who I worked with mostly and I watched her juggle a large amount of customers while taking phone calls non stop. There was basically no down time for her and I was impressed that she was able to keep such a positive attitude while working so hard for an extended period of time. The other guys were great too. Both guys seemed to be super competent, friendly, and knew what they were doing. About the shop- a nice guy named Alex jump-started my car and when it was revealed that I had a big problem with battery corrosion but Alex somehow got it to work. I would recommend this place. There’s so much to say about a shop that is honest and stocked with people who know what they are doing. It makes you feel like you won’t get ripped off and that’s peace of mind you can’t buy.

As a semi-mechanical person, I enjoyed being able to have those conversations an look over the truck while on the lifts. I was on a road trip to Orlando to my sisters wedding, found out I had two bad tires and wouldnt make it there on them. Called up the shop on the way and they worked us in even though they were busy. They also helped me on the cost and let me know my shocks are no longer any good. If it wasnt fortheir help I wouldve missed my sisters wedding. I cannot thank them enough for their help in my time of need

Great service! Went in for a flat and was out within 20 minutes. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Stay away from these criminals. I went to have my brakes fixed here and was told that to examine them would cost 29.99. During the examination of my brakes, the mechanic tried to point out repairs that had nothing to do with what I requested. After going back and forth with him for several minutes he finally produced a quote for the break repairs - one that I was not to comfortable with. I advised him that I could provided my own set of brake pads and parts to cut down on cost. He then recreated the invoice, only to add what it would have cost to purchase his brakes to the price of labor. Ridiculous!The price of labor to fixed the brakes doubled. I then requested a print out. He then tried to break down his math as to how how he arrived to a ridiculous price. After I asked to get my car back to take it else where he threaten to charge me for hoisting my car in the air for the inspection. Which again made no sense, how else would he have inspected the brakes. Where competitors charged fro labor between 129 to 140, Midas charged 200.00 for brake repairs - this includes if you bring your own brakes. If you plan on purchasing your own parts to have installed in your car, please stay away from these crooks. Lastly, the wait time was horrendous.a 1.5 hour job takes 4 hours. Many of the workers eating on the job and talking. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

I went 3 times to repair the same thing 2nd time came out with a new problem. Brought it back and fixed it, still left out with original problem. Im done with that place

Everyone at Midas, Pembroke Pines, does incredible work. Recently I had an accident with my car and took it in to be looked at. They evaluated the damage and told me it would be best to have a body shop fix it and recommended a shop for me to use. They then drove my car over to the shop so I would not have to come back to Midas to do it myself. Then two days afterward Midas called me to make sure the body repair shop had contacted me and provided me an estimate for the repair. Midas made no money off this transaction yet they treated me as if I had just spent $10,000 at their store. They make me feel like part of their family. I highly recommend Midas Auto Repair to everyone.

From out of town and I went for oil change and they told me the there was other problems with my van that the work has done already. They bent my windshield wiper arms. Now Im worried about the ride back home over 1200 miles away

I went to this shop, for brakes and an oil change, because they had the best reviews in the area. I see that their ratings have gone down since then. The prices are very high, even with discount coupons. Its a very busy shop and it seems that the workflow is poorly managed. I was the first customer in the door that morning and, after about an hour-and-a-half, I was shown to the garage to see my car disassembled. They pointed out the extensive work they claimed was needed. They claimed that my engine was leaking oil and that my axle was leaking, which I do not believe. I accepted the work on my brakes because I would have had to pay $100 just for the examination. Another three hours later, Im told my car is ready. I hear the mechanic tell the person at the front counter about a missing hardware kit. Im told that there might be a noise, but it isnt a safety issue and I can come back in to have it taken care of. I drove away to find that, not only was there a noise like nuts and bolts knocking around, but my brakes were squealing like an old school bus. I go back another day to wait two hours for them to tell me they have to order the parts. They tell me theyll call when they have the parts and theyll have me done in an hour. I called after 1:00 pm the next day, having not received a call. I started explaining why I called and I was cut off to be told the parts were there. Rude. I go back and they install the parts in less than an hour (the only reason they get a star at all). I got on the road again to find that the knocking noise was gone, but my brakes were still squealing very loudly. I gave the shop a call and I went back the next day. The issue was finally resolved, after waiting 3 hours. It is ridiculous that I had to go there FOUR times to have brakes done properly. The hardware should have been ordered before my second visit; they KNEW it was needed. I should have been called, as promised. If you waste so much of a persons time with your incompetence, you should offer additional discounts or a partial refund.

After coupon discount still over charge for front brake pads replace $300 ?Took three and half hours complete the job, after three hours they told me they going to order a brake sensor !!! are they suppose to know my car has it when they start working on it ??? three machanic was hanging around nobody work on my car 5,6 people in waiting room all out of their patience. If you are have lot of time and do not care about money have extremely patience Midas in Pembroke Pines is a good place for you.

Brought my 2015 Benz gla in for a noise I noticed. Turned out to be a belt that needed replacing and they searched everywhere to find the part for me in order to get my car fixed same day. They have been amazing and very helpful!

Puerto Rican foodie van was there instead this wkend. Food wasnt great and it was pricey for what we got. Will not go back and would not recommend to others. Have had great food compare to that and cheaper. Im from Chicago and resides in Nevada, so I know food very well. Thank You

I usually come here for oil changes and they have always done a good job on my car, they always give me an inspection report and tell me if something is needed and its ALOT cheaper than the dealership. A $49.99 Maintenance package turns into nearly $80 with taxes and fees and it takes them about 3 hrs to complete. Asked for an air cabin filter change that ran my $80 balance to $140. It isnt free! Midas advertised If the engine light comes on stop by, well check it for free. They charged me $99.10 to check the engine light. On 4/13/13 I took my car to Midas, Pembroke Pines. I pulled in front of the business; I never even pulled into the bay. The guy looked inside the car, saw that the engine light was on, and asked me if I wanted him to check it with the computer. I said yes. He brought the computer out, hooked it up to the car, told me my gas cap wasnt on tight enough, and charged me $89.99 for the service, + $3.50 shop supply, + tax-a total of $99.10. I said, I thought it was free. He said looking inside the car and saying that the light was on was free. Hooking it up to the computer was not. At no time did he tell me he was going to charge me. He did not present me with a written or oral estimate. He did not perform any other service or test. I watched him the entire time. The service took less than 5 minutes. Bottom line--He took advantage of me. As a senior on a fixed income, I want to make sure this doesnt happen to any one else. As an update--the owner of the shop called me in response to this complaint, and blamed the situation on corporate--which means the situation remains the same. He did give me a store credit, but with how I feel about the way I was treated, I wont be using it. He wanted a better rating in exchange for the credit, but I cant in good conscience recommend anyone go to Midas for a free engine check. Y? Because it isnt free!!! Still, it was nice that he tried, and he was very nice on the phone. So nothing personal against him.

I told my mother to take her car (a Honda Civic) for an oil change, since it was already due. She took it to the Midas at Pembroke Rd. and Flamingo, and spoke to this guy named Carlos. They did change the oil but my mother ended up paying $157,30. They explained to her that the car needed a special oil since the odometer was about to turn 100K miles, and that they had to flush the engine in order to do that. Off course this was totally unnecessary. Then I went to talk personally with them and never could get any refund. They told me that it is not their fault that my 67 years old mother didnt know exactly what her car needed, and that it was their duty to offer her those services. Unfortunately she was never told how much the final bill was going to be until the service was already completed.Funny thing is that days later I went to a store nearby and coincidentally there was a couple of people talking about another incident they had at the same place. One of them told me that this Midas location is very well know for overcharging people, specially older people that lives around, and that everyone is well aware of the poor service they offer. I just happened to catch that information a little late. Well im sure they wont do it again with me.

What can I say, I love these guys!! they are not only kind but very caring of each person who walks in the door. I have been going here for years. I keep coming back because they treat me with respect, kindness,and honesty. Visit the Miramar/Flamingo location awesome work and people. Thank you for the many years of great service.

I suspected that I had been ripped off by this place, so I had the worked reviewed by another shop. Came to find out the exact same service that I was charged $700 for would have cost $165. This includes a part that I was charged $199 that was only $65. Believe the other horror stories written in this review section. These people are professional con artist masquerading as mechanics. I would push my vehicle past their shop before ever going there again.

I have been going to this Midas for the past couple of years since I moved to the community located across the street from it. Since the first year I have noticed my little 2013 Beetle was costing me close to $3.6k in repairs per year and even though I knew I was putting miles on it, It rarely gave me any engine issues. However recently when I took it for its regular oil change and they told me of a slew of other things that needed to be addressed I end up paying more money then what I took it in for. I know from experience when I am being duped, I asked a friend about my light engine turning after suddenly witnessing my gas cap falling off at the gas station. He confirmed that most likely it would trigger the check engine light to come on because it happened to him before in his BMW. So with that information it was clear to me that I had been sabotaged. The double cup holder inside the median console was broken as well loose and wobbly for reasons I cannot explain but since this is the only place I take my car I addressed it with the Ricardo who explained that I had a leak of gas that needed immediate attention. After delaying the pick up and attempting to charge me more I got upset and demanded a full refund and to speak to the owner to resolve all issues.Lack of respect and injustice of any kind are things I cannot stand for and need to take action against.Thanks to Chris the owners son and co owner, I did eventually get the refund and the cup holder was fixed yesterday. I suggest always checking reviews before giving business to any business.

Their reviews are clearly made up. This is the worst business that i ever seen before. Your car will come out with worse problems than it went in with. The prices are more than everyone in the neighborhood, and will go up if you dont watch them. Theyll sabotage your car for more sales. I never seen a dysfunction bunch of crooks in the same place. Buyers stay away!

I’ve never been more disappointed in a shop than with this one. It’s the closest to my house and that’s the only reason why I was forced to visit the shop twice in one year. Last experience was with my tire on a Mercedes Benz that I just had purchased 4 weeks ago. I had a flat and that needed fixing 41$ for taking out a nail and patching it up. But then the mechanic comes and says ma’am your breaks are dangerously low. They need changing right away. Well I took it back to Carmax where I bought the car and showed it to them. Of course there was no fixing needed. The same thing happened last year with my Hyundai Sonata that I had brought in for the same issue, flat tire and my breaks needed replacement. Also that wasn’t true when I went back to the place who sold me the breaks a week prior to that. Turns out my car has a cable connected to the breaks that’s telling me in the board computer of they’d need replacement. So that’s how we know for sure that the information you had given me was false. You guys wasted my time, nerves and money. It’s so unbelievably sad that you can’t expect well and honest behavior from any car shop anywhere. But for sure I won’t come back and I won’t recommend this place to anyone. They’re a rip off and if you can get yourself a second opinion from someone who knows cars. NEVER AGAINCheck out the other reviews! Speaks for itself

Long wait

Ok, I came in for my brake light that would not cut off. It literally took 8 hours for a 15 minute job. I left, and the next day my car battery was dead while I was at work. I had to get a jump, and get a new battery. So I finally get home to notice my brake lights were still on when my car was cut off. I was livid I went to the manager Carlos who said all he could do was give me a 30 dollar store credit WHAT!!!! After paying almost 200 dollars for a battery, missing work, and being stranded having a stranger giving me a jump.... thats alI he could do....I will never go back to this midas..
