This is where I get the simple services done because they are less expensive than the dealership and they use the same MB brand name parts and fluids. For major repairs, for which you need to leave your car, it’s a gamble because you have to pay for a rental out of pocket if you have to leave your vehicle for couple of days. You will have to assess if it’s worth it, as the repair may cost less and make up for the rental expenses.Overall I’m satisfied with the services they’ve performed so far. Handel is reasonable and will do his best to get you a good deal.

This place is amazing, I love Handall and respect him a lot for taking good care of my BMW 3Series. I was at another repair shop that made my car worse with all lights blinking but when I took it here, Handall was very helpful in getting a diagnosis done and my car would never have problems till then. Understanding that a BMW is very hard to maintain and cost money, know that this place will do its BEST ability to keep it in shape WITHOUT having to cheat you off and being honest and true to their work. Its good to know I have a place to come to that I can trust and thats rare to find in a car business establishment. :)

Please dont go there very rude unfriendly, only I asked for a oil change or a turn up he said what was wrong with the car I said nothing but I think needs a oil change I told him the model of the car and what year I asked the for how much oil change he said $130.00 I sai before was $100.00 he said that was more then 3 years ago I said no I been here less the 2 years that was 3 months ago, he said then go to some where else I said you the manager he said yes I said you should not be a manager youre so rude too expensive charge toooo much for oil change $130.00👹👹

Great staff specializing on Mercedes vehicles

First off, let me say this review can change if things come out good in the end. My mother has a 2006 MB C230k that was experiencing problems so we decided to bring the car to this mechanic on Monday, 10/5/20. Today is Tuesday, 10/13/20 and Handell is still saying to give more time to diagnose. Even worse, I called him yesterday for an update and he said the car was being looked at and he would call me today with a diagnosis. It took me having to call him today at 3p after no call from him only to have him say he needs an additional 2-3 days to diagnose. We are giving him the additional 2-3 days to diagnose but we are not happy at all. Then the worst part is all he could say is do you want to come pick the car up or do you want to give me more time? When we took the car last Monday he said he would have a diagnosis sometime last week. Not happy thus far with this company at all. I will see how things go the next couple days and update this review for sure!UPDATE:So not even 5 minutes after I posted my initial review Handell calls me saying how he doesnt appreciate my review. Guess what buddy, my mother and I didnt appreciate getting the run around for over a week. He said going forward he refused to work on my mothers car and to come get it. We did just that so now we taking it another repair shop. Word of advice Handell, keep your timeline commitments you give ppl. If you say you will call Saturday, then CALL SATURDAY! Dont get upset at me for leaving a bad review when it was warranted. I strongly recommend any other MB repair shop for your MB repair needs. And I know this negative review may turn future potential customers for him away but his business practices dont warrant a positive review. If you go to him, you are doing so at your own risk. Crazy part is my mother had $3500 set aside to fix what Handell said. Not your only business but learn from this mistake.AFTER COMPANY RESPONSENo stress, we already found another repair shop to fix the car. But you know that was horrible business. Had a problem with my 2007 328 I BMW and after taking it to 2 other shops I decided to take the trip to have star auto tech look at it. spoke to Mr. Handel and he thoroughly explained the issue and what it would cost including the possibility I may need to replace a second part after removal of my fuel filter assembly, needless to say Mr. Handel was very patient and informative with the problem and anyone appreciates honesty. The car was repaired within a few days as promised but the reason to my review was that1.They were extremely careful on the removal of the filter assembly that I didnt have to spend well needed money on having to pay for a fuel pump 2. when I picked up my car not only was everything put back in a neat order but was vacuumed and detailed spotlessly clean, I was shocked to the service I was rendered considering my BMW is only a 2007.Thank you Mr. Handel and we are very satisfied to have found you guys.. Reasonably nice guys but extremely overpriced. Dont let the pleasant demeanor fool you. Received a cost estimate on a BMW that was outrageously high, even when compared to the local BMW dealership. When asked to justify or negotiate, simply told me to go elsewhere. Cant speak authoritatively on their mechanical competencies (as you can imagine, i took the car elsewhere), but its difficult to understand how they can conduct a successful, sustainable business by egregiously overcharging customers, coupled with a terrible take it or leave it attitude.

Company does a great job on Mercedes. Very reasonable prices towards dealership. Quick turnaround time. Very professional and friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

After looking at the reviews, I just called for an appointment for the check engine light. The guy who answered the phone said it take day and day half to diagnose that and they charge $100. He sounded so arrogant and I said Thanks and cut the phone. Just in a few secs he called me back and saying you welcome, oh my god I could not realize who that could be for an instance. What a rude and an attitude. I understand they have more money and business coming in but that should not make them proud and should not close eyes. I definitely avoid this place, dont want to go to a place where there is no care of a customer.

I have a 2006 MB C230 Sport and Star Auto Tech has been the only place that has serviced my car since my warranty expired. Handell and his team has been taking care of my car since 2009. That is the only place that I feel comfortable taking my MB because I know that they will service it the way it should be. Handell is a great owner and mechanic and always explains in detail the work that your car needs. I never had any issues with my car after being serviced at Star Auto Tech and I highly recommend Handell and his team of mechanics.

Very professional and extremely detailed work for a very reasonable price.We have a 2009 BMW and recently had a major accident to the front end of the car. We had taken it for repairs to a body shop in Miami on a recommendation from the towing company which was the worst mistake. It took almost 3months to fix and when we got the car back EVERYTHING was wrong with it. Pieces were falling off, things that had nothing to do with the accident was wrong, parts were missing and later found out that inside the hood of the car they did not replace parts that were damaged from the accident.I found Star Auto Techs on google/google maps and went on a whim since the reviews were over the top and were from years back. From day 1 Handell has been extremely, extremely professional, courteous and very detailed. I went in with a long list of problems with the car and within 2 days he gave me a complete estimate (all reasonable prices). The work was done within a week and instead of just looking at the surface of the problems he went above and beyond and found the root of the problems.I would absolutely, 100% recommend them to anyone and everyone with a BMW and/or Mercedes. Will definitely be going back in the future for any minor to major services.

I have an S500 with the AMG Sport Package, and ALWAYS had my car serviced at the dealer, and also bought an extended warranty for any repairs.Well the warranty ran out some years ago, and I never knew of a cheaper alternative to the dealer, AND also get the same level of quality work as the dealer, UNTIL I was referred to Star Auto Techs from their old manager when they worked in Mercedes Benz Service, (There is a small shop in Pembroke Pines where I would get oil change, and simple work, but for the more complicated repairs, I needed an alternative to the dealership, and just by luck, the guy who referred me was their former boss at Mercedes).(Sorry for the long explanation, but I wanted to give you the whole story of how I found Star Auto Techs.)Their work is exceptional, and their prices are far cheaper than the dealership, and their attention to detail, and customer service is second to none!
