I have had great experiences with this shop. Not once have I felt that they push work that is not needed, he will let you know what is needed as well as how much time you have before it becomes a bigger problem. I have taken my car for major repairs, one of them where the dealership said I needed a brand new engine ($14k) and Eli fixed it for a fraction of that and the car runs like new. Had my brakes done (Audi) as well as my kid cars (Hyundai) and no complaints whatsoever... I am a pretty good judge of character and I can say that Eli and his crew are legit.

They treated me like a customer with a car problem, period. Excellent work for not a lot of money, and made it a point to let me know what other stuff I should keep an eye out for. Thanks guys!!

Brake World Pembroke are reliable and people of integrity.On July 15th, 2021, I took my car a Toyota Camry 2019 with 23,564 miles, as confirmed on the service report, for a routine check oil and filter, tire rotation and a safety recall 20TA02 fuel pump replacement.When my car was finished, the assistant service manager, informed me that it was recommendedfor immediate front brake lining and as soon as possible rear brake lining. I questioned him and we went back and for exchanging information. Needles to say that my car brakes does not have the usual symptoms or a lamp on the dash board indicating that something was wrong.I spent the next few days, leaving messages for John Diaz and messages and text message for Danny Metts without getting a call back from any of them both.Yesterday, I send an email addressed to both of them and copied Steve Ostrov - General Manager. A reply was received from John Diaz - Parts and Service Director, saying that it was very common for brakes to go bad. Mr. Diaz, invited to reschedule an appointment for a second inspections to show me visually the brake linings. I needed assistance with my car and they were the only shop available and I am glad to have them inspect and fix my car (Mopar challenger for reference). They are honest and that itself says a lot, they show you whats wrong with your vehicle and I appreciate that. Novelo I believe is his name assisted me and he is solid in his his work and honest. Thank you ! . Their prices are fair and definitely better than dealership prices. They do brakes and also auto repairs so check them out for their services.

I needed my brakes changed last minute. (One hour before they closed) I asked if they were open to this gig since I knew it might take some time. Typically a front and back rotor and pad job would take almost two hours but they were able to get two people on my car. I highly appreciate the efficiency. The price was a bit higher than other shops but not by much around $10-20 depending on who youre comparing but 1) they specialize in brakes and since this is my family car I wont hesitate to pay more for experienced labor and 2) Eli, the manager was considerate, responsive and honestly didnt leave me feeling like I was being his shop was filled with B.S. They had my car done in around 35-40 mins. So far Im beyond confident in their work and if my tires fall off Ill update this review but as of now I can recommend them without feeling like I have to say a disclaimer.

I took my Range Rover in earlier this week for brake repair after having a terrible experience at New level Auto Repair in Miramar the minute I got there they came out to help, the vehicle was making a squeaking noise they immediately put the vehicle on the lift and started diagnosing the problem before the end of the day they had my brakes working well and got rid of the squeaking sound. The price that they charged was very reasonable for the amount of work that they did. I would recommend this place to anyone 100%

Worst experience lousy indian working front desk, had me wait for almost 2 hrs for an oil change only to tell me they had to order oil filter it would be one hour forty five mins to get it. Would not recommend this place at all. Out come was he told me not worth doing oil change said $30.00 dollar not worth compared to $5,000.00 he is doing in other repairs, nice guy not a neighbor friendly . Forced to put one star not worthy of that.

False advertising. The online coupon $79.99, American or foreign cars, then Eli the owner says Mercedes Benz is double because is a foreign car... i was shocked, and i told him it says foreign cars. He responded in a condescending way, use your common sense, mercedes is more expensive, at least $169 plus tax. Horrible business, trying to take advantage of new costumers after using false advertising to attack people. Dont recommend. Dont waste your time. Call before driving there.

Great atmosphere. They have sodas and water while you wait. Ely has great customer service skills. If you dont want.to wait and live close, they will drive you home and pick you up. Prices are discussed up front. No hidden fees. I highly recommend for all car care services.

After considering some options I decided to try out brake world. Eli helped me consider what services I should get and showed me as well and gave me different options. He was very helpful and I decided to have my car serviced here. Ive been bringing my wifes car to Eli for years. I dont understand any of the negative reviews. Hes the rare honest mechanic. Always gives me a fair price and discusses the repairs and prices with me up front.I suspect any reviews about not understanding the prices land on the client not paying attention. I will always bring my car to Eli because I know he is trustworthy and upstanding.

I asked for an estimates by phone 2 days before and the person that answer the phone gave me an estimate of $110 for the front brake pads replacement (parts and labor). When I went to the shop Eli in the front desk gave an estimate of $120 for the same work. After they took the car in, I was told that the brake fluid needed to be flushed and the front rotor needed to be resurfaced. I didnt accept the fluid flush and ended up paying $223.52. Wont be returning to this shop

I probably was one of the first customers of Brake World in Pembroke Pines and I do not regret that they have served me for over 20 years. When I need service, I do not have to waste time looking for competitive prices, as I know I will get the best price around, as well as prompt service, friendly staff, and guarantee work. This place is a bunch of thieves! I went to check why my ac was not working, since the had a sign for free ac check up. They told me it was the compressor. Guy quoted me $860 to repair, $260 if I brought him the part. When I took it in he then tells me freon was not included and it $90 more. I told him fine. Then they started to tack on extra things. First he said the belt needed to be replaced, o asked him to show me the belt. I dont see anything wrong with it, it wasnt cracked and the car was not making noise before. To see if he was lying to me I asked if he was referring to some silver markings and he says yes. Thats when I said just fix the compressor. Later on he comes out and says the pulley need replacing and thats the reason the car is making a screeching noise. I told him the car was not making noise. They then installed the compressor and and said it was not working that it wasnt getting electricity and it must be an electrical problem. He told me to bring it the next they would fix it and not charge me. Thats when my brother got involved. We went back to place the compressor was purchased at who happens to do business with them. They said it wasnt installed correctly. They fixed it for us! When my brother and step dad asked what happened the guy that repaired it said; Im not going to say anything! These people cannot be trusted! They took my money and didnt do a damn thing!! They are thieves. I wish I would have read the reviews prior to going there. Dont go here!!!UPDATE: Part was NOT DEFECTIVE. I took that very same part to another mechanic as stated above and installed it with no issues!!!

I gave them one star to be able to write a review. However this is a ZERO star business.I took my daughters 2 year old Honda Accord coupe to have the rotor resurfaced and new pads installed. The owner sold me on new rotors along w the pads. I immediately agreed. After all, my #1 priority is my daughters safety.Well I dont know what type of pads and rotors they installed, but they always smelled like burning rubber and the rims got black 2 days after washing the car.I month after, the rotors had deep waves on them and the pads looked wasted. I took the car back, and the owner told me that was normal. He even challenged me to look at other cars to confirm that its normal. So I called his bluff and we looked at three different cars, including his own, none had wavy rotors, obviously.So he agreed to change the pads and rotors at no cost to me. His behavior was shameful to say the least but I had to make this right. I even thought maybe this time they installed a better product to avoid me coming back again and again.Cut to 2 months later. I take my daughters car to get serviced at the Honda dealer, and they tell me the front pads and rotor are destroyed. They showed me, and they were destroyed. Brake World installed the same crappy system again. Brake World is not even worth arguing with. Theyre a bad company. Very bad. So I bit the bullet and spent more money to have the dealer install the new ones. The brakes are perfect now.If youre researching this company before taking your car, good for you. Now forget any decent review you may find here, do yourself a favor, and go elsewhere. And dont fall for the specials -- theyre fake anyway. Classic bait and switch.

They charge you the standard price of a brake job for your car but then use the cheapest possible parts. Brakes have been squealing since I got them. Went back to fix it. They put on more cheap pads and it still squeals. They say I paid for top of line ceramic brakes. But I took the chance and had both my brake rotors done (front & back) The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful. Quoted me a decent price and had the work done in less than an hour. They also include warranty on rotors for 1 year or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Brake World, not. I made a simple request to have a front brake disc turned/machined in order to clean off some adhered brake pad material. Eli said it could not be done because it was a solid disc. (Anyone that knows about cars knows this is not true). He told me to go buy a new one at Bennett Auto. Next I asked if he could fabricate a 12 brake line for me. Again, he said no and told me to go buy a new one at Bennett Auto. Not much of a brake expert if you cant machine rotors or fabricate brake lines.

I always take my lexus to the dealership but I was distraught with the over pricing. I decided to take a chance and brought my car to brake world. I must say I am impressed, very clean shop, quality mechanics and Eli the manager is very professional and kind. I paid for a new brakes of the best quality but they installed me the cheapest. When I realize what they did, I returned to claim and installed what I paid for. I dont recommend and will never go back

Basic shop experience nothing to be excited about except for the end of my service. I went in for a standard brake service new pads and rotors price was agreed upon and everything was ok. At the end the manager stated to me that I needed to flush my brake fluid and he would do it for me in 5min. Maybe for others that is no big deal but it goes to show the lack of integrity this shop has. A proper brake flush minimum is 35 minutes to be done correctly. What he wanted to do was charge me for a service and simply remove the fluid from the brake Reservoir and replace. Not the full brake service that he wanted to charge me full price for. Won’t be returning to this shop

Went in for a Brake CHECK due to the pedal not feeling right. Turns out everythings fine. Thats a first to hear at an auto repair shop. The man in the front did not even try to sell me anything said my brakes on the rear are a little low but will last another 6 months to a year. I guess it was just my imagination. Contrary to the name, this place isnt really a brake specialist. They werent able to fix a noise issue with my brake drums even after installing new parts (and cleaning/readjusting them several times). The brake pedal didnt feel right either, but they insisted it was fine. They started acting very rude and I had to take the car to the dealer to resolve the issue. The employees are capable mechanics but the low quality parts and poor customer service are deal breakers for me. They might fix your issue but its too hit-or-miss for my tastes.

Went twice first time not that much people but 3 hours wait time plus time to do the job.Second time out of the 7 places only 2 were busy, time wait 1 hour plus 1 hour to do the job and oups! My car wasnt in the system likeI am from another planet. Do not want to search for a solution but only looking for excuses not to do the job.As a brake place please dont advertise oil change if you are not willing to do it.👎

I question the repairs they say I need to get done. I usually go in for a simple oil change and tire rotation. They always have something to say that I need replaced. They said my serpentine belt needed to be replaced and I got 2 other opinions that said my serpentine belt was completely fine and barely worn. They said my brakes needed to be flushed which the other 2 opinions I got said no they didnt. Im kinda curious to know what oil they are filling my car with at this point. I really dont want to come here any more because of the lack of trust I have now. I really only came here because it was close to home and they offer the rotation with the oil change...

Do not trust this shop!! They will quote you a cheaper price over the phone and then gradually increase once you bring your vehicle in. Charged me $377 for a power steering pump and pulley change and car leaked fluid the minute I drove away from their lot. Called to get the leak fixed because that was the reason I came in the first place. Manager then quoted me an extra $150.. Took my car to another mechanic and got the proper job done for $175 with parts and labor. THESE GUYS ARE RIPOFF PROS

I dropped my vw Jetta since the AC didnt cool the car. My father was out of town and I had no choice. I couldnt drive the car in mid summer till my father returned home.When I stopped at Brake World Eli checked the AC system right away. The AC compressor wasnt working.Eli ordered a new compressor while the technician took the old one out. My car was fixed and the AC is working fine.I rarely get my car repaired which was my fathers job, but my experience at BRAKE World was great. I highly recommend for all car owners.

This company is a complete cheater. I got a written proposal to change my Kia Optima 2013 Brake Rotors and Pads for rear and front both before I go there. First of all Eli (Owner) wrote Yes, we can do that for you. $ 289.99 TAHNK YOU ELI with materials. I even sent pictures of materials for the front and rear wheels I bought. I said that I have materials, I just need Labor for changing to Brake Rotors and Pads for rear and front both . Eli (Owner) wrote LABOR ONLY WILL BE $110. I got an appointment 3 days ago, I organized my all works I went to their service this morning. They unload my four wheels and started work. After that Eli (owner) said that Labor Cost $200 + Shop Supply + State Tax . I would go back unless I had other appointments. After waiting there, I had to get it done unwillingly. They charged double what they said. I do not recommend this place I do believe that The Owner is scammer. By the way all the employees did their job very well, I even gave him a tip. Honesty is more important than anything. It was my first and last. I certainly dont recommend to a person at all.

OK, theres no venom in me to write a bad review, however they changed my brakes about nine months ago, and they started squeaking. i returned to them and they replaced it, no problem. i honestly believe that this place uses low quality parts, but the owner is a really nice guy though.

They lie just like most mechanics who take advantage of ppl. Moving on hope to find a company with honesty as a core value.

Honest good quality work. Dealer has told me a number of items that needs to be done. He inspected all of them and showed that there was no issue which I had kind of sensed from the dealer talk.

I went and had gotten all four brakes done on my dodge charger. The young gentelmen in the front helped me out and explained to me exactly what i needed, although i thought the price was kind of high at first i decided to get it done. After calling a couple of shops in the nearby area turns out i was completley wrong, they quoted me almost $200 more than brake world did. Im glad i decided to go with them. Will be coming back.
