Today was the first time using Take 5 for an oil change. I drove in the bay when they opened promptly at 10 am and drove out at 10:12 am. You get to sit in your car during the oil change and they even keep a fan pointed at you so youre not burning up in this heat. Chris and Jonathan both were courteous, attentive, and fast. Chris even topped off my washer fluid at no charge while Jonathan was changing the oil. Plus, I was able to use a 50% coupon I got online so the premium oil change for my 2011 Honda Pilot (which has 181,100 miles on it) was $44. I tipped both young men. Thanks for the great first impression! I will definitely be back!

I must first say, I hardly ever let other people do anything to my vehicles but for the price I wanted to give them a shot. I brought my own oil and filter for my F250 and these gentlemen had me out of there in less than 15 minutes, and thats from the time I arrived, waited and then had my truck done.The key point that I admired was their safety checks, this is when a second set of hands inspects his team members work. This process not getting done is where mistakes happen and I valued their attention to detail.So for $27 and bringing my own supplies and 15 minutes of my time, Im a happy customer and would encourage anybody else to give them a try.

Came here for the first time for an oil change. I called earlier this morning to ask for prices and was told an oil change would be $34 for the lowest grade oil and that there was a coupon on the website for $10 off. I also asked how much windshield wiper blades would be and was told $7 for standard and $23 for the better quality ones and that there was also a coupon for that. Lastly I asked how much it would be for a state inspection and was told $7. I said that was great and would be in later! The guys who worked there were very nice and the service was pretty quick. When I told him I wanted new windshield wipers he told me it would be $23 PER BLADE. I was kind of upset because I was not told over the phone it was $23 per blade but I told him to go ahead and put the blades on. I had him scan the two $10 off coupons and my total still was $100.67! When I looked at the inspection report I was given I saw a fee of $18.50 for an emissions test that I was unaware of that made my inspection cost $25. That is how much I usually pay for an inspection, but AGAIN I was told a completely different thing over the phone and was not told that it would only be $7 if your car was 2019 or newer. To top everything off I had asked him after I pulled into the bay if they could put air in my tires because my check tire light was on and he told me he would. After not paying attention to if they did or not, I drove off and after getting home realized they never put air in my tires. All in all I would absolutely never go back here for an oil change. I’ll stick to Jiffy Lube where I pay $35 for an oil change, air in my tires, top off my wiper fluid, AND a free car wash. And I’ll go to Auto Zone for new windshield wipers blades where I would’ve pay $23 for both of them..

09/12/2020Drove by here often but thought they only did oil change. A friend told me they also do car inspections so I gave them a try. Very pleased with the service. Was helped immediately by Robert when I arrived. Stayed in car, done in 20 min, $25.50 later. Efficient, friendly service and most importantly, the workers looked like they enjoyed and took pride in their work. Thanks Robert, Calvin, and Ernie! Will return for an oil change next time.

Please dont take your car here. They changed my oil in the fall and messed up my air filter emission tubes that are connected to my air filter panel. I just went over there to try and get them to fix and Brandon said I dont even need them. Had both my mechanic and Advance Auto Parts review and they are definitely needed. UPDATE: I have emailed and called and they are not responding. Bottom line: they broke my Air Cleaning Housing and its going to be over $400 to fix.

The line was long but the oil change itself was pretty fast. They dont try to make you get all this extrawork done they literally just do the oil change. Everyone was friendly. I used a coupon and got 50 percent off. I will probably go here from now on.

I loved it! Waited in line, in my vehicle for about 20 min. Gentleman, believe it was manager, came out and talked to me, checked in, asked if I needed anything, offered water. When I was next, they guided me where to park my vehicle, did the oil change, checked all my filters and other things, and i paid and left. Very easy process and loved it.

This location went above and beyond for my oil change. Initially I needed a new oil filter housing, but the employees told me what exactly it looked like and to bring it so they could continue with an oil change. They tried their best and ultimately got it done. For someone who knows absolutely nothing about cars, it was nice that this location cared in the work they did and let me know what was going on.

I went to get my oil change this morning around 8:00. At the Pearland location on Broadway street across from the Pearland Town Center. The two young men that helped me were Fantabulous! Great Customer Service and Fast service. I also bought one windshield wiper from them and I had another windshield wiper I had purchased from Auto Zone yesterday. Excellent customer service. Very professional. Would highly recommend. Went for an oil change, the guys topped off the washer fluid and checked all fluid levels without me asking. The oil change was done within a couple of minutes. They also pulled the air filter and showed me it’s status as well. Great place!

This location by far exceeds the Missouri City location (whom I didn’t even let service me due to such a bad firsthand experience and long wait). The gentlemen were professional, informative and prompt!

The workers in the bay working were polite and considerate even though I arrived 30 minutes before the store closed. My only complaint was how rudly the manager spoke to his employees in front of me. Good job to the guys changing my oil even though their supervisor spoke to them in that manner.

Fast Friendly Service and you can’t beat the price. Every 3,000 miles I go in and my truck runs so much better when I leave. They top off your fluids, air up your tires, change your wiper blades and they do inspections.

Sam was rude, unfriendly. He asked if I wanted him to check the air filter and said it would take too long. None of the guys were pleasant and I’m not even sure they completed all of the services they were supposed to, that’s included with the oil change. They pick and choose who to offer water to… I’ve never been offered.

The company I work for accepts them as fleet. I had such a great experience that I started taking my personal vehicles to them for oil changes and state inspections. The League City and Pearland locations are friendly and fast.

This was the worst experience I have ever had from both a bad service and terrible management perspective. I took my car in to get a vehicle inspection and when I got my car back, it was covered in motor oil. The mechanic got oil on the seat, steering wheel, arm rest and door. When the mechanic returned the vehicle, he seemed surprised that I was concerned about the oil and wanted to talk to the manager. Because the manager wasn’t on site, I had to wait. The manager thought wiping the oil off with a rag would be sufficient. I understand mistakes happen, but how this was handled by the mechanic and the manager was woefully inadequate – they didn’t even apologize. I now have permanent oil stains all over my car.

I normally go to the Cadillac dealership but it was not close to where I live. So I went online and found that not only would I be able to sit in the car, there were many other services not just oil changes.This was a very good experience overall, as these guys are true professionals. I will definitely use them again. Great customer service, and unlike the dealership much cheaper!

When I arrived there was only one lane open even though there were 4 employees. I parked behind 2 cars ahead of me, I was waiting around 15-20 minutes when another vehicle came behind me. One of the employees waved over the car behind me to move to the first lane. They began to service the vehicle that had just arrived as I continued to wait. I decided to leave after another 15 minutes of waiting.

I called ahead of time and was given a quote of $42.99 for a semi synthetic oil change. The man I spoke with also told me there would be a $5.00 discount which was sent to me by him via text and would reduce the price of the oil change to $37.00 or so. After getting the oil change, I was told my charge was $62/$63 which was $26.00 more than I expected to pay. After I made the young man aware of the conversation I’d had with the gentleman on the phone, the phone quote was not honored and I was told I was given the wrong price over the phone and had to pay the $62/$63. I felt very deceived and misled and was not happy about that at all. Prior to my visit to Take 5, I’d also called Driver’s Auto Repair yesterday and was quoted $29.99 for the same service. I decided to come to your establishment because I didn’t want to get out of my vehicle. I understand this is a convenience but not worth $33.00 additional dollars. I am disappointed and won’t return.

I had my state inspection completed at this location. The workers are team oriented. The state inspection person was on lunch break but it was OK with me since I had no where to go. While I waiting, the other co-worker completed a headlight, backlight, and horn inspection so the state inspection person can do a quick inspection later on. Now that is team work, folks! I will return for sure.

Dont know exactly if it was just that specific day but they gave me the run arounds bcuz their computer was down but i do know their prices are extremely high for the same price i left and went 1 block down the street to kwik car and got a carwash plus oil change

Best customer service in any field. Location is completely drive thru, so you never have to leave your car. Even if there is a line, its not much of a wait. Takes maybe 10 minutes to complete a full oil change. During which, the technicians do an excellent job of clearly communicating what theyre doing, what theyre checking for, and what they find. They offer suggestions, but do not force a sale on you for any products. Gave me no issues redeeming my Veteran/Military discount (25% off.) Hands down the best interaction Ive had in any type of customer support in a long time. Will be coming here for the foreseeable future.

I really liked that they double checked each step by calling out their checklist. It showed me they cared about doing the job right and also let me know what they were doing during the process. At the end of the service he reviewed what fluids he checked, etc and that the oil change was performed. Even with a few people in line ahead of me I was only there 45 minutes or less. I will definitely be returning here and using them regularly.
