Great place! Very clean, staff is very friendly and they are very big on customer service. They want you to enjoy the service and be happy with the results along the way. Nice that they offer you a beverage during your service. Must say this place is very friendly and polite with their customers.

Fantastic nail salon. When I first moved here I tried three different places, and nothing compares to the quality, experience and cost at La Jolie. I get gel extensions and nail art biweekly from Pink. She’s a nail art star! I wouldn’t go anywhere else :)

It was my first time here. I went with a friend and we both got Mani and pedicures here. They had a good selection of nail polish colors. I got a gel manicure and a pedicure with callus removal and a fantastic massage! Very happy with their technicians and will definitely go back there.

I used to like this place but it has changed for the worse with the new owner. She takes “appointments” but doesn’t honor them. My daughter and I made appointments for noon but it took until 12:35 for our pedicures to start. Didn’t get out of there until 1:30. This has happened to several people I know. She tells everyone who walks in they have availability even though they don’t. We now go to Classy Nails about a block away and it’s delightful.

La Jolie is one of the best nail spas Ive ever been to. The service is excellent. My 19 year old daughters love their nail art. I have never been disappointed with La Jolie.

I came from out of town to fix my nails and Im very pleased. Kevin took his time and made sure that I was happy with my nails. He removed my acrylics and put on a gel manicure which I thought might be bumpy but because of his patience and attention to detail they came out beautifully. Im thankful for Kevin and the atmosphere in the salon. Everyone was very hospitable. This place was recommended to me by some Stanford students and I was not disappointed.

First time dropped in and took a basic option. The good thing, that I didnt have to wait. And after half an hour I got my fingers and toes done. The bad thing is about quality. Look at the pictures. Camera could even catch inaccurate layers.Before I got seated, Ive been told to choose a color. But there was only 4 polishes to choose from. When I asked if they have a color between pink and orange, they brought me to polishes to choose. However later Ive seen others choosing from the palette 🎨.At the end I got flip flops, because my shoes could definitely destroy the pedicure.

I asked for natural looking acrylic nails and the result was terrible. They didnt even paint on a natural color, they just left it as it was and said No one will be able to tell you have acrylic nails. They look natural. 😤😥😠Meanwhile I trying not to cry because my nails were not how I imagined them to look. I also got my finger cut by the person while she was filing my nails and it hurt pretty bad. Even google had better photos and suggestions for natural looking acrylic nails than what I recieved walking out the door. I paid over $50 for nails that look like they were glued on by myself. Maybe I should have clarified that I wanted her to pick out a natural color to put on the nails but the lady doing my nails interperted it like I wanted the nail to be natural as in, not painted at all instead of painted to look natural. 🤦😧

My favorite place in Palo Alto for mani pedis for over 10 years now. Today we enjoyed al fresco services as Santa Clara County started allowing the salons to operate outdoors for whatever COVID level they deemed us worthy of lately. Previously we had to go a whole mile away and cross the Sand Hill Road border into Menlo Park, which falls in the next county, San Mateo. This has been financially crushing to all the small businesses and their staff just trying to survive. Anyway, I digress. We had a wonderful afternoon and very grateful to come back to my favorite nail salon. Sandy and Alicia were hotshots, recognizably it is a lot more work for the staff to operate outside, but we appreciate it so much. A little bit of normal right now in a sad and depressing time. Thank you also to owner, Ann, for creative and flexible thinking to bring operations outside.

First time here as I am new to town. I read many reviews and felt that it was worth giving La Jolie a try. I will say that I do really think that the techs care and they were nice, but they were in very much of a hurry and the services seemed rushed like there was a quota to meet. (It was about 75% full at 10:15 on a Tuesday before thanksgiving.) I was not offered a menu or asked what pedicure service I wanted, I didn’t know there were pedicure options until I looked around to see other people having different things done during their pedicure. My fingernails have a ripple to the shellac, my cuticles are still a mess on some fingers and you can still see my old regular navy polish under this gel on my thumb. I think I will give them one more try on a less busy day but for now 3 stars.

I love them! Alicia and team are fantastic.They are accommodating and take pride in their work. I live in Seattle but come down for work at times and my coworker told me about them. Now every time I come down I see Alicia. Love them !

Super-friendly service. We arrived early for our appointment, and they were able to take us right away. Everyone (staff and customers) was masked and keeping distance. Reasonable price. My daughters nails were lovely.

Had an awful experience here. She would not allow me to choose my color and chose it for me trying to convince me it was pretty. I did not like it and asked for a darker pink which she then chose again. She then proceeded to make fun of me for asking for more coats to make it darker by laughing at me and joking with other workers. I also asked for almond shaped nails and she did coffin. Would not recommend getting acrylics done here.

I absolutely love visiting this salon! All of the techs are very sweet and the customer service is excellent. They have a nice collection of colors and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommended!

My nails came out amazing! Very professional and nice staff. I got a french dip powder with extensions on the nail. Sandy did an amazing job and they look like my real nails! A little pricey but worth it in all honesty :) best manicure ever

It was second appointment for nails and pedicure. Outdoor seatings with good shades and social distancing, plus transparent partitions for nail services. I felt like a having a spa in a cafe house garden. So clean, comfy with big chairs. Artists are super strict with sanitation rules. Sandy and Alisha(spell not sure) was ours this time who had given us perfect sturdy beautiful nails and pedis 😍. I appreciate my friend who recommended me here. I had relaxed safe spa time 💅🧖‍♀️

I spend my time between San Francisco and Mountain View, yet I always make my way out to this nail salon because they really treat customers well. They offer neck warmers, bring you water, and constantly check on you. Their services are reasonably priced, yet each comes with several upgrades. The third-level manicure is my favorite; it has a brown sugar scrub and hot towel for your arms. I also enjoy that they include flower petals in the water for that extra ambience. When it comes to pedicures, they are very careful and thorough when massaging and removing calluses. Overall an amazing place to get your nails done.

Had a gel manicure and pedicure done here this weekend! It was a great experience. I made an appointment in advance. I walked in and Diane was the person who worked on both my hands and feet. She was very quick and professional. She made sure they looked good and definitely cared about the finished product. Very good experience.

I have visited this salon many times and have generally been pleased. That was not the case on June 14th. The new „powder product“ that I had done did not last. Within 2 days the top clear coat was peeling off, and a week later nearly all my nails were crazed. I hope that the technicians will get better training, particularly because this product costs more. As usual, all the staff were friendly—-that is why I gave this visit 2 stars and not just 1.

My go-to for manicures and pedicures. I come here about every two weeks. Competitive pricing -- $30 for gel manicure, and $40 for a signature pedicure. The signature pedicure includes a long massage and vigorous (with a power tool!) callous removal. Even though I come here regularly, I dont go to just one person. The staff is great and am usually happy to be helped by anyone here.

Update: my nails look terrible within a week! My cuticles look awful and the nails on my toes are chipping and It was with the expensive extra five dollar nail polish for my toes. Not good at this price.Such nice people and clean space. Diane and Thu we’re very sweet and professional. I’ll come back. They did nice massages and were very nice at reception. They even gave water.

Great at doing difficult nails!

Quality has really gone down. I’ve been coming for 7 years and consistently within the last year the service has been lousy, the paint chips within a week, the place feels run down and when I’ve brought this to their attention they’ve done nothing. It’s too bad.

My favorite spot in the bay area to get a pedicure. Always high quality and friendly, simple service. Very clean and accessible. Also quick eyebrow waxing thats pretty painless.

My regular but today was honestly superb. I got the signature Mani/pedi and the foot and hand massage were the best I think Ive ever gotten! Call ahead to book and you will not be disappointed.

I had a tremendously awful experience with them. As an outsider from New York, I assumed that I would have a relaxing experience since the spa looked decent. Although they were veryyyy pricey, I agreed to have a manicure pedicure at their spa. In the meantime, I experienced great unfriendliness, did not notice any smile on the face of the receptionist or any of workers. They were not pleasant at all, and did not treat me desired or welcomed. I was not offered to dry my nails, let alone getting a mini massage after my manicure. Instead they forced me out of the chair I was sitting on and told me they had no time to do my pedicure after their original promise of the time slot for me. They are extremely unprofessional, and I found them to be very rude.

Sandy takes great care of my hands and feet. The salon is service oriented. The dipping gel is fantastic for those of us with thin fingernails that crack.

Not a good experience overall. Came in with my friend to get standard manicures and to get my gels removed. The staff was kind of rude to us, and didnt give us much time to pick a color. They did not file my nails completely and left the edges bumpy and the nail beds rough, so the nail polish did not go on smoothly at all. The guy was pretty careless with the application, and it seemed like they didnt put much time or effort into our nails because we werent getting gels. The lady doing my friends nails was also rude to her, and gave her what was supposed to be a light pink color that was basically clear nail polish. Overall very unsatisfed or the price.

Ive been to a few other places to have my nails done, and La Jolie is the best. The staff is welcoming and courteous, they offer a good variety of services, and the prices are reasonable.

La Jolie is the best nail spot north of Los Gatos. Warm neck pillow and relaxing atmosphere. Ask for Sandy if your getting a gel manicure. Great attention to detail.

AWFUL! It was my first time there, I asked for them to not sure the electric nail file to take off my gel, they rolled their eyes, were talking about it for over 5 minutes, had someone else come over to tell me I had to do that nail file otherwise it would take too long, so I just walked out! Never going back!

Its a nice place, has a good luxury vibe but is also expensive. Tipping is confusing your supposed to tip in cash, but you can pay with card. I was most disappointed with the quality of Polish, had my nails done in gel. Not only that it start coming apart in less than a week but it ripped my nails to pieces.

I got my nails done on Friday afternoon. Supposedly I got a gel manicure, but its Monday night and my nails are already chipping. I went with a girlfriend, who got a gel french, and her nails started chipping yesterday. The pampering aspect of the manicure was subpar, so this was basically a waste of money.

This place was really nice to me and I heard them talking in viet about me, but it was good what they were saying about me so I cant get mad. Love seeing that facial expression they give whenever they find out Im viet as well.

Went for a pedicure and despite telling the pedicurist not to cut cuticles on the side of my toenails she did anyways and my toe started bleeding. My toe is still in pain and am worried about staph infections as there was a Substantial amount of blood given that it was a small area of my toe.I would caution against going to la Jolie.
