First off, Tammy is the sweetest manicurist I have ever met! Its refreshing to meet such a bright and creative manicurist here in Palo Alto. Second, her nail work is so delicate and clean cut. I have a lot of cuticles, and many other manicurists have cut them to the point of bleeding. Tammy, however, cut my cuticles perfectly! I love, love my nails. She took her time with every little detail, and suggested ideas as she went on. Definitely becoming a regular here. Tammy is the greatest!

Went to this nail salon in a pinch to get my friend and I’s acrylic fill set done. We had an appointment at 3:30p and wasn’t see until much closer to 4pm. With that being said, after we picked out colors and found out that on top of the $50 for a full set, it’s $5 for a gel color that was never even dried with a UV light. After we sat down to start what we thought would be a relaxing experience, she about files my friends and is nails off with how hard and FAST she was going. She then proceeded to ask about our nails length and when we showed her that we wanted coffin shaped nails that are a little longer than “short” and she immediately stated that it would be $15 up charge to cut less of the fake nail off. So if you’re keeping track, we’re at a total of $70 for each of us. I was about to walk out after I saw what was next... she then put the acrylic powder on our nails in 4 different uneven sections that made my nails looks worse than when I started. All together, I will have to say that this is THE worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon. We had such high hopes with it being in THE MIDDLE OF DOWNTOWN PALO ALTO, but I guess not. Save your money and go to San Jose for your nails. Not worth it. While she was nice, it doesn’t make up for quality

After months of searching for a nail technician Ive finally found her! At Kims Nail Care, Tracy is hands down the best and goes above and beyond to make sure she gets the job done right. You can really tell she takes pride in what she does, gets into those spots you mostly have to tell people to do and most importantly shes quick! Thank you Tracy for the beautiful nails and I will definitely see you soon!

This is the best nail salon Ive ever been to. Super clean, amazing customer service, and excellent nail techs! Everyone is good here, however if you want the best (like seriously amazing, wow) ask for Linda, she is incredible-best with cuticles, very precise and detail oriented, and overall will make your nails look perfect! Linda is the best nail tech in ever had.

Had such a great experience here! Loved everything about it. The location is adorable and so thoughtfully put together with a nice selection of products. The treatment room where I received my face was so sweet and special. Everyone was warm, welcoming and knowledgable! Highly recommend!!

Theres no one better in Palo Alto than Carla at Kims Nail Care! My nails always look great and relaxing at Kims Nail Care is one of my favorite things to do. I look forward to coming here every other week. A beautiful salon with great staff and services!

Great experience: I got a gel and the quality is absolutely amazing. The nail techs dont rush because they actually take their time shaping and coloring but theyre also efficient. The service is always good. Very friendly place. I will return.

I wish I could put a photo of my nails. I gladly spent $60 expecting my nails to look great for my niece’s wedding. Within 24 hours, three of the nails had broken off, despite that I was only attending social gatherings ( nothing hard on nails). Very disappointed.

Always lucky with walkins. They do a very nice job on gel polish very consistently. Fair prices. Nice people. My go to place!

I finally found a place I like. I only use Tracy, she always does a perfect job. I love that I can make an appointment and Tracy is waiting for me when I arrive. I never have to wait even though they are very busy.

Overpriced and poor service. Only worth going to in a pinch. It felt dirty to pay $65 for a basic manicure/pedicure that took too long by an inexperienced “technician.” Given the competition, I’m surprised this place is still open.

They ruined my nails

Great service everyone was so nice. Talk about going above and beyond, Linda did an awesome job on my nails and designed them better than Ive ever had before and knew exactly how I wanted it!

I have been to this salon several time. The people are nice, very professional.Pedicure and manicure are great. Lots of colors to choose from.Try the nail polish that lasts longer (for a couple of extra dollars), it really lasts longer.

Overpriced and rude. $70 for an acrylic set and still looks horrible. Manager is rude and didnt even try to hear me our. The worst nail salon Ive ever been too.

Went in without an appointment in the middle of a Wednesday. They took me right in. My mani/pedi turned out great (gels on both) and the service was excellent. The ladies were all so kind. Salon was very clean and organized. Pedi chairs were super comfortable. I plan on going back in a couple weeks!

Last year, haughty and rude behaviour was matched with preferential and outright prejudicial treatment of a long - time client (now, a former client) this week. Kudos for consistency? People will be voting with their feet that they get pedicured elsewhere.

Really poor job- ruined nails. Stopped midway through given the poor service and still charged full price- which is too high for the service provided.

Charged $50 for a full set stating that it was the going rate for Palo Alto. This did not imclude gel polish. Gel polish was additional $15. We were visiting from out of town. Qualify was poor. Horribly poor. Took forever. 1 week later nails are cracking and lifting. There were 4 of us that had our nails done and none of us are happy with them. Not recommemded. Go somewhere else.

Loved kims!! Chose another salon originally and got horrible service and chose kims my next time. I was not disappointed. They really took their time

DO NOT; DO NOT GO THERE!! Would giveminus stars if i could. Groupon needs,to get a grip! Cancelling Groupon effe tive immediately. Day three of eyelash extensions...day two of excrutiatingly painful eyelash extension removal. I look like I have pink eyes; ive been usi g visine drops in my eyes & aquaphor around my eyes all day.; Huge swollen bags under my eyes,from all therubbing as she tried to remove the extensions; barely any of my original lashes left. DO NOT GO THERE!!

I would never go to this nail salon again. They are so rude to their customers even customers that have been going to them for a very long time. Their quality is inconsistent and the owner treats people like she is doing them a favor allowing them to come into her salon. I would be sure to tell all your friends never to go to this nail salon.

This place is overpriced. everywhere else in palo alto they charge $25 for a fill. Kims charges $35 and theyre not as skilled. Stay far away.
