I just enjoyed my first ever Boot Camp style workout taught by Mike at Ruth Hardy Park. I felt nervous beforehand, because coordinated movements have never been my forte! However, Mike did a great job of coaching my form and helped me feel confident with each exercise. We did a three-circuit workout that had the perfect amount of variety from circuit to circuit.Mike was very kind and welcoming and seems to genuinely love his job. I would highly recommend his class, not just for the great workout, but also for the positive environment.- Annie
I joined Mikes beach workout with my wife about a month ago and we absolutely love it. Mikes workouts are a great way to start the day. We do 6am classes generally but we also like the flexibility of 3 different class times. The workouts are varied and interesting and allow you to challenge yourself as much as you want. I was in a rut from a workout perspective and this has really energized me. Plus, there really is no more beautiful spot to work out in LA. Mike is a great guy and his classes have a real community vibe.
Its hard to oversell how awesome Big Mikes is. Wouldve never guessed that I could get up at 5:30, bike up to Santa Monica and then workout. But Ive done it consistently for 5 months and it has changed everything. Love being barefoot in the sand, love being outside and not in a gym, love the variety of workouts, love Mikes attitude and encouragement. If youre on the fence, just do it. You wont regret it.
Mike kicked my butt in todays morning class. I highly recommend him and he makes the classes fun and enjoyable.Excellent full body work out session!! Thanks Mike!!
