Over the course of my adult life, I’ve received PT session several times from various agencies and Effective Physical Therapy, Inc. has been the best of them all. The therapy sessions has been innovative and effective. The therapists are knowledgeable, professional, and personable. The staff is also cordial, professional and engaging. Its hard to condense all the good things I can say about Fernando. He has been helping my husband recover from a stroke for the last several years. He is compassionate, motivating, funny and kind. And I should add, very knowledgeable and professional, with a very caring support staff. Without him I have no doubt my husband would not have the strength he still retains today. When I first started therapy with Fernando, I immediately felt comfortable with him because of his open and caring personality. I think this is so important when finding a physical therapist because it allows you to feel completely open with them and promotes you to get better much faster. My pain level before I started physical therapy with Fernando was at a 9. After seeing him for only a month my pain level has gone down to a 3. Fernando has helped me immensely, not just with the specific injury I came in for but also my overall health and preventing further injuries in the future. From the moment i walked into Effective Physical Therapy I felt safe and calm. The staff was so polite and the ambiance was clean, calming, and soothing. Just as I suspected, I had found the right place for me. I then met Fernando and I was positive. His friendly smile and kind words put me at ease.On my first visit, Fernando took me into the exam room, where we talked about all that had to be ailing me, which was a lot. He assured me that he would be able to help me physically and mentally. He worked on me with the micro point stimulation (a type of acupuncture much better explained by Fernando) and I felt better immediately. His massage is heaven.Since then, things have gotten better and better. I do exercises at a pace that I can handle and the days that I feel really sick, he helps me with both my physical pain and my depression. Overall, this place had become one of the most important parts of my pain recovery process and I am so grateful that I have found it.

I never thought that my knee problem after an injury as a teenager could have a solution without surgery. For a long time I decided to live with that condition and I would limit myself from doing as many basic and simple things as dancing or running.I started my therapies with Fernando skeptical of what might happen. And on that first date with only one treatment and exercises I felt an improvement as is a miracle.
