I’ve always loved the Y. They have taught my son how to swim and has very responsible instructors. Love their martial arts classes as well. The current swim team instructor is lacking in teaching all strokes & providing guidance to all kids during classes. He provides instruction to some kids but does not provide to ALL. This is unfortunate because I’ve always enjoyed most of the instructors. Great programs for kids otherwise.

I have been using the YMCA for over 12 years now, my oldest son (12 years old) attended for Daycare, VPK, After care, swimming lessons spring break, summer camp. I always found the staff to be very helpful and family oriented.Now my youngest son (3 years old) has been attending for daycare. he loves his teacher Ms. Tiffany, the Director Tatiana has always been very polite and quick to respond whenever we need something for our kids.I find the YMCA to be Great for my kids, I would recommend them and trust them with my kids 100%.Thank you.

I decided to sign up last week for a membership since I wanted my kids to improve their swimming skills. The young girls in the front desk seem to be new and did not provide all the information needed. I took my kids to a class today which is on the schedule by the way to find out that the class was cancelled for the whole week because the teacher is out. I understand emergencies happen but if you know in advance this is unacceptable. Instead of updating the schedule, sending a courteous email to the members letting them know, or simply finding a substitute to fill in they just left it on the schedule and let it be. When I asked the front desk where the teacher was 5 min after the class was due to start they were also perplexed and had no idea until they asked someone who I believe is a manager. The manager then informed me that she does not find it necessary to update a schedule for a week and that I would have known if I had called to reserve the spot. To which I might add I highly doubt because the front desk girls had no idea when I asked about the teacher and I would like to add again I was never informed of that policy. The employees there would benefit a lot of customer service training. I have been in many other YMCAs before and it is my first time experiencing this. The manager 100% needs to improve her people skills. She couldve easily just apologized and explained there had been a mistake instead of just trying to justify it and prove me wrong.I really hope that with this review someone can address this with them. It would be a shame if they lose members for something that can easily be fixed with customer service training and improving some daily task in the facility. Members pay memberships and should be treated with respect. The facility is a little run down and an update would benefit it a lot as well.

I can’t say enough positive things about the experiences with the Y pre school that’s past 2 years.It has been an amazing growth and learning experience for our child.The director Tatiana and her kind and nurturing staff have been true professionals in every way.Our child will be graduating from pre k 4 next month and we will be sad to leave. We all feel like a family.

The swim lesson is only from 5:10 til 5:40 which you can’t make up miss lesson with out a dr notes. Mind you the scheduled fall around RUCH HOUR. My son has seizures but not all requires a dr visit so there no policy for those children for make up. Director never the in time of need

Very bad experience with swimming lessons. My daughter has been doing level 5 for the past 6 months because coaches dont know what theyre doing. Theyre talking more than focusing on their job. I had to remove her and cancel my membership. Please hire competent coaches. Its a waste of money and time.

My daughter just graduated VPK here in May. She was there 3 years total. Tatiana is absolutely amazing and such a sweetheart. ALL the staff and teachers are absolutely amazing. I was super picky about where I was sending my child. This was the only place I felt comfortable and felt my daughter was safe. I’m so sad she isn’t able to go there anymore because she’s getting older I miss the staff dearly. They create a bond with the family as a whole and I absolutely love that. I love all the activities they do and field trips they took the kids on, they are family focused which is amazing. I highly recommend the YMCA preschool to anyone thinking about putting their child into the program. WE LOVE THE Y

The YMCA Preschool has been the BEST experience that we have had. My granddaughter has been going there since she was 3 and from day 1 we were welcomed with open arms. To this day we consider all of the staff family.Miss Tatina is the Principal and always there for the children and the families. She goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome, always a smile, always attentive and always puts the children first. All of the teachers are just as amazing. I am so happy that at the time I made the right decision to have my granddaughter go to the YMCA Preschool.Miss Tatina thank you for all you do.

My kids attended YMCA pre school and now they are in the distance learning and after care program. Tatiana is the principal of the school and one of the most efficient and compassionate people who work there. She’s just one of the many staff members who are extremely competent. They go over and above to assist families in childcare. They give me a piece of mind while I’m at work.

FOR 3 Years I HAVE HAD THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVEN WHEN STRUGGLING ECONOMICALLY AND ALONE WITH TWO KIDS THE DIRECTOR OF THE PRESCHOOL Mrs TATIANA CALL ME INTO HER OFFICE AND HELPED OUR FAMILY EVERY STEP OF THE DAY .SHE PERSONALLY HELPED MY DAUGHTER WITH HER UNIQUE BEHAVIORS AND HAS EVEN TEACH HER HOW TO EAT BETTER, PAYED ATTENTION TO MY CONCERNS IN EVERY DIFFICULTY SHE WOULD FACE. I SEE HOW THIS TEAM OF PROFESSIONAL HAD HELPED MY KIDS, THIS LADY GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND HER POSITION TO MAKE EVERYONE HAPPY, AS WELL AS KEEPING THEM SAFE AND HEALTHY IN THIS CRAZY PANDEMIC TIMES. What a gem of a place - for seniors, for families, everyone! The staff is so dedicated to their members and the programs are so much fun (Salsa dancing, yes!!) I would HIGHLY recommend joining this Y if youre looking to get fit, meet new friends and support one of Palm Beach Countys most wonderful nonprofit organizations! (Can I add another 5 stars?? =)

Teachers are great caregivers and relate very well with kids

Preschool.... I transferred my son the the Y preschool 2 weeks ago and it was a life saver!!! My son was having trouble in another program. He cried every day and never had anything fun to say about the school or the kids. He was coming home very angry and aggressive, I realized the kids did work almost all day and had very structured play time.I went into the Y preschool on the recommendation of another mom. The director, Tatiana immediately made me feel at ease with what I was looking for in a program for my son. She invited us to visit and observe several times. This helped his transition into his new class tremendously. She assured me the door is always open for me to visit, observe what ever I need to feel comfortable leaving my baby there. The teachers have been great and my son hugs them goodbye every day, (hes not a hugger).I have found the school to have clean facilities with new toys and well kept furniture. Some schools I looked at were very old. I cant say enough about the director and our experience.

My daughter has not been with anyone but family since she was born. The YMCA is the best fit for our family. Thank you! We are blessed to have found a great daycare for our little one. The preschool is amazing, from the teachers to the director they care for the kids like family. The environment is safe and clean. I would recommend the YMCA preschool to family and friends.

WOW...I just went in to get information and can I tell you that the staff at both the Main building as well as the Preschool was phenomenal. They answered all my questions, and trust me there was a LOT! Meanwhile still greeting the incoming guests BY NAME! It was great to see such smiling faces. I cant wait to enroll my son in the Preschool, the facility and program looks amazing! PLUS they give PB County Teachers a great discount!!! Get in there!!!

Tatianna the director is disgusting. I asked her questions in regards to tuition and she continues to tell me just come pick up application and fill out we only have two spaces. Well I continued to ask question and then she said there wasn’t anymore space. So your mad I’m asking questions and now all of a sudden y’all full????? Wow great customer services. They are my children you damn right I have a lot of question and if that offends you, you need a new job.

First of all I would like to start by saying thank you to all the staff and members of YMCA preschool for the amazing care and honesty and many more great moments That my family and I had received other the years.I highly recommend this preschool parents,Since day one I walked through the doors of ymca preschool with my 3 year old daughter I felt welcome and secure knowing that she will be in a safe Place while I’m either in school or at work, due to the fact of the staff been so warming and caring,but also the system they have in place when you drop off your children to the time you pick them up. The preschool is always well organized clean and ready to clean up and have secure precautions regarding spills,falls you name it but all to the your child benefit.Child proof 100%.The teachers are well educated, my daughter has learn so much since she’s been enrolled I’m speechless of how much she grown not only physically but mentally and the education the school offers is at a great pace.My daughter loves her teachers,the staff I’m a witness of it that’s why I’m here given a 5 out 5 Stars,And to thank all the staff and they have all my respect.YMCA PRESCHOOl Exceeded my expectations.

My son goes to VPK here. Its wonderful! The teachers and care givers are great and the price is affordable. They have a wonderful school and even do swim lessons throughout the year. The only downfall this year was some staffing turnover but overall, the kids were kept consistent and didnt notice a thing. They now have a great team in place!

Im not part of this school yet. But pretty soon. I just want to thank Tatiana, her way to make us feel welcome its amazing. I told her today she is an angel that we found in our way. She doesnt care about money or paperwork she care about how our kids feel and works with us in the transition as a real family. l. And that is a aamazing blessing. Tha ks again

Had a horrible experience trying to sign up at this facility! Oh my goodness, talk about feeling marginalized and completely disregarded. Terrible customer support and service. Trying to sign up my dad for a membership as a health and wellness gift, as he used to go to the YMCA years ago, I couldnt do so because the membership service ineptitude. The young man working the front desk at membership service simply handed me paper work and quoted INCORRECT me prices. I go to the YMCA website and get a quote and find that he misquoted by a good 40 bucks. He simply responds by saying thats next months pricing scheme. I asked to speak to manager who he said was too busy in a meeting. But I find out was just finishing paper work to get out 15 minutes early for the day. I totally understand wanting to leave work early, but Im not to start disrespecting my clientele because of it. To completely disabuse you of any notations of going here for a good experience you should know that Youre completely wasting your time and money If youre going to go to this dilapidated facility

My 3 children (11, 5, 2) has swim lessons for the season. Ive been a member of the Boca location & my oldest had swim at the Boynton location so I speak from comparison when I say I love their swim program. The teachers are great. My kids live for the canoe ride at the end of the sessions & they love the jumps at the end of each class. My personal favorite is Ms. Diana AKA baby Rosario (if you said huh? She looks like Rosario Dawson)

Signed up to come workout here since it’s close to where I live. Front desk was great and Ann was very kind and helpful. Came in to work out and found numerous conversations very close to me in the gym- constantly and it’s super distracting because it’s a very small facility and even smaller gym. Brought my headphones in the next time to plug into the machines but they don’t work- machines are outdated. So brought in my phone the next time to use that to cancel out the conversations and the WiFi doesn’t work and you can’t get a signal. It’s not worth the $54 monthly fee when the machines are outdated, the guests treat the gym like social hour even though there’s a lobby with tables and chairs for them to use, and you can’t connect to WiFi or anything else for that matter. Not worth it. Canceled it a couple of weeks after I signed up and I was stuck being charged another month because of their policies.

I visited the skate park for my first time. It was a blast! The ramps are in good shape. The people I met there were very nice and helpful. I highly suggest you visit the park. You will enjoy your time there.

Thanks to a generous donation to our Oelsner Skate Park, needed repairs and refurbishing have had the skate boarding community flocking back to the Park.

This place say that is non profit but the only thing they do its find way to take your money. the administrater this place is rude, doenst know how to running a business.I tried for 3 times cancel membership and I all the time they have a excuse to continuing charging me ....u dont say in name the God if u are an association that not help people ... this is insane.

NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!I have never met a more rude staff in my life. I drive 2 hours to come skate the park at this location and they didnt even let me in. The price was too high and I saw all the ramps and bowls were in ruins. And did I mention how disgusting the staff was!!?

Greediest YMCA in the nation. Monthly fee scheme charges fees even AFTER membership has been cancelled or put on pause. If they pull this stunt with you, be sure to dispute the charges with your credit card company. They are always concocting ways to take more and more of their members money. So much for being a non-profit. Avoid these crooks at all costs. BTW, the place is a filthy mess. Floors are always disgusting.

Okay now im a pretty experienced skateboarder so when it comes to quality of a skatepark that part is definitely a must. this skatepark is absolutely horrible. theres holes in the ramps. the actually geometry of all the ramps are completely messed up. i cut up my shin within the first five minutes being there because i kept running into holes or cracks. if that place would like to continue to stay open and have more people come in they should really do some sort of reconstruction. if i were someone inspecting the safety of the park, i would fail it without batting an eye lash. i understand its a nonprofit park. but seriously the place is a straight up death trap. i know now that ill never be going there again
