Airport transportation was super fast and reliable- it is about a 10-20 min drive depending which terminal you’re going to but you’re paying a cheaper price for a car because it’s off site!! There were no hidden fees like everyone complains of- it’s a car rental company! They’re always going to ask if you want extras you just have to say no! Staff was super friendly and quick during check in and return. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 just because of the condition of the car- lots of dings and interior had stains but overall for the price it was perfect! Thank you!

Stay away!!!Or you will find out the meaning getting what you paid for.....its not cheap.Economy doesnt mean filthy beat up cars or add extra unknown processing fees when returning the vehicles 🤔.The staff it happened also to be unfriendly.Take plenty pics before taking possession to be on the safe side.Will never recommend this place unless its a last minute emergency.

Never again. First car, AC stopped working so we ended up drenched in sweat and then we had an engine failure sign. They were kind enough to drive out and replace the car, and we were lucky to be in a safe place; but the battery died on the second car. Luckily, I took note of the roadside service number they gave us and had kind locals help us out. If you don’t mind the hassle and want to save money, feel free to book the car. Check in experience was smooth and in between car troubles were smooth.

If you rent please,please take pictures of Everything! Even the odometer. Make sure you take pictures of the gas because they gave us a half tank of gas and tried to say it was filled. That’s how they make their money! Then they ask if you have a picture, if no then you’re out of luck because on their rental agreement that you signed before getting your car states that! Buyers beware!

Economy rental delivered. Carlos is the man. Completely explained the Ins and out and had me wrapped up in no time. The place was clean, organized and comfortable. The vehicle was ready when we were. They have an awesome team. A shuttle brought us in from the Orlando International airport without waiting. I would definitely recommend this outfit and Carlos. When I’m back in town I will be visiting Economy again.

Thank you billy you were great was a bit nervous upon arrival after reading reviews but all turned out well. Car was clean I did have to pay extra 9.95 a day to avoid a 500 deposit with my declaration page but other then that would rent again BILLY gets a gold star

The staff was horrible. One worker called my wife fat in Spanish thinking I wouldn’t under him. The car they gave us had so many issues. Tire pressure light, engine check light and one blinker didn’t work. Had a horrible experience from beginning to end. Don’t ever come here. They did us so dirty from beginning to end.

Wish I could give them zero stars because the lady was Absolutely rude They charged us $500 deposit. And then told us that we needed to take pictures before the car because whatever damages was on the car and we had no proof that it didnt come from us then she was going to charge us for all of it I have so many pictures and they did not even wipe down the inside of the car the seats were completely disgusting they have burn marks on top of their ceilings and they have fingerprints all over their lights and mirrors. I would never use this place again they are unprofessional and careless. Wont let me add picture but the car was disgusting.

What is it with the major hit and miss experience people have? This place is always awesome and I hit a home run every time. The shuttle always shows up, they move you through the line as well as any other rental company. The place is close to the airport, clean and simple. Picking up the car is always a breeze. I show them my drivers license, credit card for deposit and the declarations page from my insurance policy, which they require. They make it clear beforehand they require proof of insurance coverage in the form of a declarations page in order to opt out of their insurance. Bring the proof, no problem. I decline all the extras including the toll pass, which I never get and never need. Yes, I understand I will be billed a fee for every toll I go through without the pass, but its easy to plan your trips without tolls. They never harass me for any extras, always very nice and friendly the whole time. The cars are never brand new and yes, they may have a stain on a seat or minor blemish, but they are way better than anything I drive and I certainly dont need a brand new car. The price is right and the service is great. Upon return, they inspect the car immediately and the friendly shuttle driver takes you back to the airport. What more do you want? What a great place.

I have never dealt with a car company that not only provides unsafe vehicles, but Nickels and dimes you. An additional “deposit” is needed if you’re using a debit card. So instead of maybe understanding that not everyone has a credit card or doesn’t want to use it, you charge and additional $50 for someone to use it. That’s crazy! What about consumers who literally only have a debit card. I’ll never use them again. This picture is of the steering wheel, with an obvious crack in. As someone who specializes in the automotive field, had I been in an accident, the airbag may have deployed sideways or not at all, and I could’ve been seriously hurt. If you need to rent from them, make sure you take a video and pictures before you leave the lot.

DO NOT COME HERE! Pleas save your money & time! Worst car rental spot in the World. 5 minutes after pulling out of the rental spot the tire popped! They charged us $80 for a tire they knew was faulty. The inside of the car was disgusting. The customer service is terrible! I will definitely be bringing this to the attention of the BBB! If your looking for reliable rental car company do not choose economy. First we had to wait 20 mins for the shuttle to arrive at the airport. They charge extra insurance fees once you arrive when I already bought the insurance online. After getting the car we had to switch to another car because the car smelled like weed and the gas wasn’t on full either. They don’t clean the car interior properly. Also when I get the first car that car had over 80k miles and second one had 55k and had dents and scratches. Make sure to take pictures before driving out from the location. Besides that customer service was rude and not understanding to their customers. I will never rent a car from them ever.

Booked a car with unlimited miles on price line. when confirming the reservation found out even though I paid more for unlimited miles as a local pick up it only came with 150 miles a day it looks like this is how they do business give a very low price then pile up the hidden fees. beware!

This place is trash! They try to get any extra money they can out of their customers. I rented a car with half tank of gas. When returning i put enough gas to go past half tank but they wanted it full per the contract. The manager stated If not full upon return the gas cost would be some astronomical fee! So be very careful when going cheap(economy)! They will try and get you. Take pics & videos of the entire car, including the gas gage & milage. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

I was nervous for my rental after reading reviews, and after getting my car I honest to goodness have no clue how this place could get a bad review. I was in and out in 15 minutes and had the easiest experience Ive ever had renting a car here. I knew I needed proof of insurance when I got there so I had it up on my phone and was able to fax it over. I was greeted and helped by, Jamie, who was the friendliest man Ive ever met. He was so kind and helpful and I never once felt pressured by high sales. He explained everything about the rental and the vehicle and sent me on my way with a smile. The car itself is in perfect condition and had plastic cover the wheel and shifter.I wish I could give them more stars, because this place is seriously underrated. Amazing experience. This is my worst experience ever from a car rental service. You get what you pay for. If I could rate this company lower than 1 star I would. The one star is for the full tank of gas. The customer service was unpleasant and the rental was unacceptable. I had no choice but to accept the vehicle as is. I will NEVER use this company again.

Once I arrived and provided my verbal car insurance over the phone with a call to my insurance company, the rep then said to my they require a deposit the same amount as my deductible, there was nothing on line that stated anything about a deposit equivalent to insurance deductible. A $500 deposit for a 1 day $16 car was ridiculous! Then the car I was received had not been cleaned completely, there were small seed pits from some type of fruit someone ate and left in the door and middle storage section.

I made a reservation and the place never picked up the phone upon my arrival. Never returned the call. I believe this place isnt 24hrs and was closed when I arrive. The airport doesnt have signs for shuttles or anything about this company.

This rental car company is NOT located at the airport!!! Great value but you get what you pay for. Car was pretty dented up but got us around for our vacation no problem. When we received the car we were promised a full tank of gas but it was only 3/4 full, so if you rent here be sure to check before you leave the place. Staff was solid, just wish they were more friendly...no complaints otherwise. If you are looking for a super budget company for a car and dont care about luxury, this is the place for you.

BE prepared for additional Expenses at time of pickup, if youve booked on line 🤬DO NOT accept a freshly detailed/cleaned vehicle. Example it was closed up for a few days while I was just in Daytona 🤮Then got charged for smoking in it tried disputing it but 👎- 250 $Which led to missing our flight back to Detroit 😫Sat at Daytona ✈ for 12hrs 🤬Not sure why they ended up blurry, I was taking pictures of flakes of stuff that looked like cigarette ashes..I have a video also, wont let me post THAT. 💯👎

This place is a joke. Our flight was due in at 1:00 am and I reserved a car for 1:30 am travelling with an infant 6 and 11 year old. Called economy at 1:30am in Orlando to see about shuttle and phone kept going to busy signal. Called Miami office to which they informed me that the Orlando location had no rentals available for me, I needed to get an Uber and go to the Orlando location after 8am in the morning and they would reimburse my rental. We had plans to go to the beach leaving 7am so this messed up our plans from the get go. I: was now stuck at the airport trying to find an uber for myself my daughter and 3 kids. By the time we got a ride and got to the hotel it was after 4:30 am. Had to get back up at 8:30 am Uber over to the Economy to get the car and when I got there they didnt have a SUV that I reserved available and told me they would deliver to hotel and exchange with me the following day. I told them we needed to exchange the car no later than 6am as we had change beach plans to that morning. Manager said he it would be 630 to 7am. He said he reimbursed me for my Uber which I still have not gotten back into my account and would not charge me the fee for the sun pass. Would not give any other discount because they agreed to change car to SUV following day even though I was now into 9 hours past when my reservation was for and another 24 hours before they would exchange car. Next we had to argue over showing proof of insurance or being charged an additional daily fee for their insurance even though I already paid for extra insurance on Priceline. Was given a dirty banged up small Sonata. Next morning came and no word from Economy. I called them at 7:30 am was told that they did not have an SUV and that I needed to wait until 11am I requested to talk to manager was told I would need to email and request a call back. To date i have had no call back and they never switched out the car. I was stuck with a beat up small car even though I paid for SUV on reservation. When I returned vehicle they also hit me with a $40 sun pass charge that I was told would not be charged due to inconvenience. This place is a rip off. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!! I will be putting this on Yelp and BBB!!!!!! Face book and wherever. They are the most dishonest company I have ever dealt with and they dont care if you are stuck at the airport at 2am in the morning. I better get my money back for the Uber as well as a discount for not providing me with the SUV i reserved and paid for.

This place is a total scam! I didn’t read reviews beforehand, because I booked through Expedia. I prepaid $120 to rent a car for a week, but when I got there, the very rude employee told me that there were a bunch of extra fees and it would cost me another $400 for the week + a $500 deposit I’d have to put down as well. When I canceled the whole thing, they didn’t give me my $120 back either. They pull you in the door with a low price then give you a choice to lose your money and waste 2 hours of your vacation or pay about 50% more than the airport rental cars.

Do not rent from here!!!!! Terrible experience, not worth getting a cheap rental car they charge for everything!!! End up paying 3 times the amount you would normally pay!!!! We got our rental with less than half gas and returned it more than half a tank and had to pay 41$ because we didn’t take a picture of what the gas was at previously because we were never told to!!! They lie so they can make there money!!!! Manager was who I talked to and was extremely rude!!! Car was very old!!!! Stained up and smelled very bad. Rented a dirty, smelly and unsafe car. One of the tires on the vehicle had a bulging inner wall and went flat. Took the tire to two different tire repair places and they refused to fix the tire. Reported to Estafan (manager) and he refused to take care of problem. Finally after wasting 1/2 day, corporate exchanged car. Charged me $66 and told me that the tire was repairable.I feel for the next party that had to drive on that tire.

Biggest scams ever. Will up charge you for whatever they can.save your money and rent a car literally anywhere else. So many fees ended up paying $200 more. I purchased insurance online and they said I needed additional? Also I had to go back to the gas station multiple times because the car was not even a gallon under and they had the audacity to charge $8 for a tank of gas. Had to pay a debit card fee ?? Told me if I don’t purchase there toll thing I would have to pay $25 for every e ticket plus the toll?? LOL But overall this place should be shut down for scamming people

Everything was really good, as soon I get to the airport I call and they send us the shuttle to pick us up, like 10 min waiting. Korin Vazquez help me with all the paper and the insurance, she was really kind and explained to me clearly everything, also help that she speak Spanish and she explained to me everything in Spanish.To return the car it was easy and they take us back to the airport. It was a really good experience, I recommend them.

I had read all the reviews and was on high alert when going to the counter. I rented via Priceline and honestly had no issues. Because of the reviews, I printed my auto insurance dec pages and had them with me. So no issues there at all. They did put a $500 hold on my CC though.I did not opt for the toll pass daily fee, but rather went to Walgreens and bought the Sun Pass mini for $4.99 and loaded it for the week. Easy to get unused $$ back once you deactivate your account.The car was clean but had 70K miles on it. But you get what you pay for. The return was easy. I had been prepared with about 30 photos of existing dings, but he said it was all good and we went on our way.

It took nearly 40 minutes to get picked up from the airport. Then when dropped off took another hour and a half+ (still sitting here waiting!) to get into a car. On top of it all, the workers were rude. I will NEVER rent from here again.Save yourself the trouble and TIME!!!!! and just book within the airport.

I am currently on the way out from dropping of my rental, and I can only say that I was very pleasantly surprised at how good the services and everything was despite the reviews.We booked through their main site after choosing to avoid booking through another 3rd party website. We got a very affordable rental that had a reasonable under age fee that was clean, a good car to drive, and that we had little to no complaints about. We made sure to bring our insurance declaration pages and checked in in advance to make sure things went smoothly.We arrived to the airport at 2AM and we were able to get a shuttle ride no problem (you need to shuttle there, its not in the airport, just look at its location first), the staff joked around a bit but they were helpful, informative, straight to the point and did their jobs well especial for the hour of the evening.I had a very pleasant experience that wasnt nearly as bad as most reviews said. Id make sure you go through their site and read as much as you can first, but Im happy with the service I received.

Great staff. Everyone is professional and helpful. Cars are great. Pick up from and drop off to the airport every 15min. Check in and check out was efficient. There was an issue where I was charged extra for gas when i filled the tank up before I left. Luckly we were able to resolve the issue and got a full refund. Will definitely use when we return.

Its okay. I got to drive a Nissan Verse.. felt like I was driving a go kart, especially when trying to get on the highway. **They need to clean the cars better before sending them out again too.. My feet and legs kept getting bit by something, everytime I got in.

I wouldnt even rate this company a 1 star. They do not do service on their vehicles. And it is very unsafe for children and adults alike. The first one they gave us the wheel bearings were going. The second one the breaks were squealing, windshield wipers were broke, and there was a knocking from the engine. When telling them we would not drive the first vehicle they became very rude and not wanting to get us another car or refund. When we finally got the second vehicle it took over 2 hours to get it. We drove it to the hotel and didnt touch it again until we drove back at the end of our vacation. We didnt get to do the things we wanted to do and were very disappointed. Dont have them ruin your vacation too. Find another place to rent a car from.

Great price on a rental car and it was in good shape. I was in and out of the office quickly. Note: get the toll pass for $10. I thought I didn’t need it but there were hidden tolls where the license tag is charged and I had $50 of fees from tolls afterward. Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that there was confusion with the rental car return: exiting the building with a newly rented car and where cars are returned use the same road and without a traffic director it was a cluster$&@? My flight was delayed 1.5h and still when I got there (after waiting for the shuttle, driver not wearing a mask btw) my car was not ready despite having a reservation. System crashed twice and had to restart the whole pick up process, I was in there for 40+ minutes. They ask for insurance although Florida law doesnt require it for rentals, if you use theirs its $45. They want $500 deposit for a car I paid $30 for, and it can take 3 weeks to get it back! Or you can pay an additional $8 to opt out. Then they tell you to take a picture of any damages although they already have it on file and made me sign for it. At least the car was clean. Never again.

Just going to say it....You get what you pay for. Eventually we left the rental place after taking numerous pictures of the car. While driving, the tire pressure light came on...now I dont know about you but when theres a light that comes on in a rental car, I drive right back. And thats what I did, spoke to one of the members there (who basically ignores you when they hear you call them as theyre walking away)(one of the people that worked there did previously to another customer asking about their rental). Thankfully they fixed the issue and I was ready to get back on the road. But if I was in a rush, it would be a different story. Just stick with the name brand.

I rented a car from here for my vacation to Orlando. Got them threw Priceline and the price was very good. The shuttle driver that picked us up at the airport took forever to get there. Waited 30 min which didnt make sense because our driver drove like he was auditioning for Nascar. Once we got to the store, getting the car was pretty straight forward. Offered insurance amd the sun pass which I took both, signed some quick paperwork and was all set. Now as for the vehicle whelp u really do get what you pay for. This car hand such a funky smell the whole time. We drove with the with the windows down ALOT because it always smelled like a homeless person had been sleeping in the car. The windshield wipers were terrible!!!!!! There was no washer fluid. The driver window button was broken. The AC barely worked. Car had over 50k miles on it. It was just a mess. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone unless they really didnt care about the car and wanted a place dirt cheap. They didnt try and charge me all kinds of fees like I have seen people posting so that was good. The guy who helped me when checking in was nice, and definitely got me in and out which I appreciated.

Well where do I begin. First I admit to booking solely because the price was right - the old saying is correct, you get what you pay for! They are off-site (no desk at the airport). The shuttle took over a half hour to pick up and there were so many waiting that we were over packed and had complete strangers on top of each other - in the middle of a pandemic!Then when we arrived at their off-site location, itTook another 45 minutes to get through their paperwork despite booking and paying online through Priceline. Couple of things to know you must have proof of your personal insurance...didnt mind but could be an issue for many. And heres the real kicker they bill your credit card for an additional $500 and when I returned the car was told they wont credit it back to my card for 3-5 business days!when I finally got my car there were dings and scratches all over the the vehicle. The car was acceptably clean but not like other car rental companies. The transit between airport and actual site is about 20 minutes. If you use this place definitely document the condition of the car at pick up and return. Oh and this is a side note - their drivers only speak Spanish to mostly Anglo-speaking Americans! If they are giving any quality info, you would not know.Summary, dont use this place. Its worth to pay more for better service Ill update if I dont receive my deposit back.

This car rental is something else. The first time I book with them in 2020, they made me get car insurance through then even though in the state of Florida you’re not required for a car rental. The excuse was “we’re not a chain company and won’t be able to cover damages”. Now this year I book them again not realizing it was the same company, until I arrived at the location. Now this year 2021 I used my own car insurance and they put a $500 hold on my card. Which makes no sense. The car they rented us had damage to it and it smelled pretty bad. I will NEVER book with them again!

Worse place to rent a car!! Save yourself the pain!!!! None of their cars work. Imagine been in a 100 degree in Florida in a car that the air conditioning doesn’t work. No AC!!!!! Yes and it wasn’t just that one car I have to switch cars twice because if the same issue. In addition they don’t clean the cars they all smell horrible inside, duty and both cars with holes on the seats. Had to wait hour and half just to get the first car even though I had paid for everything in advance because their process is so slow. In addition get ready to be uncomfortable since they make you wait in the garage where they storage the cars which is hot with no air conditioning and no seating area because there’s no waiting area for customers inside where by the way all of their employees are seated in. Like I said if you go to Florida for vacation like I did save yourself the pain!!!! And don’t rent from this place!!

Its the truism of life. You get what you pay for. I needed a quick rental for a short jaunt down to the coast, so I picked the cheapest company that also didnt advertise/require $1,000 deposit.Yeah, theres is only $500 and they dont tell you till youre literally standing in front of them. I wish I would have had more time.Now that Im driving down the road, just got on I-4, the car feels like its going to go off the road and shaking so badly. I had to wait approximately 40 minutes for a shuttle to arrive at MCO. Once I arrived at the car rental place building, they gave me a car with a dead battery.I arrived at MCO at approximately 11 p.m. however I did not leave Economy Car Rental until about 12:30 a.m.

We came into the Orlando airport about 1230 am. We were told to go to the b side of the airport. There were several other families there and they got the same instructions. We waited for over an hour and no one came to pick us up in the shuttle. Several people called but to no avail. We ended up having to get a taxi van. By this time it was almost 2 oclock in the morning. The people were rude and not very helpful.The car ran fine but the windshield wipers needed to be replaced. We will never use them again. It was a terrible experience.

I rented a car from them when I arrived and Orlando and it was a complete disaster from start to finish . First of all, the van that drove us from the airport to the economy location was DISGUSTING. Seats were filthy just gross. Then we arrived my mom was the first person on the agreement but she had to add me as a driver when they said they don’t accept her liability insurance. They wouldn’t remove her from the agreement but claimed they had to add me on in order to use mine . They charged so much just to add me as a driver. Then I was offered the toll pass for 10 dollars a day. I was told I prob wasn’t going to use it. Jessica asked me where was I staying and I told her. She told me it would be about 2 or 3 tolls to reach my destination in which that was a lie it was only one . She informed me that if I didn’t use it the rest of the days I can be reimbursed. I only used a toll going to my resort and once when I was returning it. My toll totaled about 5 dollars the most. I was charged 50 dollars for 5 dollar toll usage. Upon returning the car, I went inside asking for my reimbursement as promised and everyone seemed confused . I told them I spoke with JESSICA and told them what she told me . She looked over stating that’s not what she said. I explained that if it wasn’t what she said I wouldn’t have came inside looking to be reimbursed. I asked to speak with a supervisor who asked me to give him a call in 2 weeks . This company is a COMPLETE RIP OFFF and is not even worth the filth cars they rent you . I never been more disgusted.

We waited two hours for our car and they did not have it ready for us, or for anyone that was waiting before my family. We had to pay an extra $300 to get a car that was set to go so we could finally leave the building. They didn’t have the car we originally booked. Went from a full size to a mid size because we were fed up with waiting. Everyone there, not just my family, ALL had issues with getting their rental. No one was going anywhere. The line barely moved for the two hours we waited. This truly was not worth the price and you would be so much better off doing a rental straight from the airport. Car is also dirty.

By far the most frustrating part of any trip I have ever been on.They bid my car at $8 per day, when I arrive I find out they are off-site and not even in the airport. 45 minutes later I finally get to their site just to have to wait another hour in their line. All of this is really no big deal until I finally get in and they tell me I have to pay $35 per day for their insurance. I had my insurance card which is all you need at ANY other car rental agency BUT they require a declaration page. By this time my insurance company was closed so I was FORCED to pay the $250+ dollars extra to get a car.I finally get to my car and it has 50k miles, dents and horrible NASTY stains on the seats.DONT DO IT! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, ANYWHERE ELSE.

For the price it was just ok. The shuttle is about a 15 min ride from the airport. I felt like $10 a day for a toll pass was steep but did it anyway since Florida doesnt have a great system for renters except for cash pay. The car we had was a Hyundai Elantra. It was very banged up inside and out so TAKE A VIDEO JUST IN CASE! The tires had no caps on them and all 4 were over filled to 48-50psi. Not really safe. They all leaked air too and we had to refill them twice in 5 days. Overall it did the job but I would recommend a company at the airport. Its not worth the couple of dollars you save.

I was told I would be refunded my money on Sunday June 20th at 11:30 am “right away” .. Today is Monday June 28th I called to check the status, they told me I must send an email requesting a refund…UPDATE TUESDAY JUNE 29th I was charged another fee for gas.which i didn’t include in my complaint, when I got my rental it was on Half a tank, so another inconvenience!! The lady told me “take a picture, that’s ur proof” I showed my proof when I dropped off the car on June 23, yet here we are with another charge. I’ve been hung up on and now waited another 16 mins. I would recommend using a service from the Actual airport. UPDATE JULY 6th i received my gas refund, still waiting on the June 10th charge..

What a nightmare! Every car they have has high miles and mechanical issues. If you’re a Florida Resident they will force you to pay an additional fee. They are scammers and tried charging my card 2 weeks after I turned the rental in, I had to call my bank to fight the charge. Evil place, don’t do business with them. You won’t even save money after their surprise fees.

Zero Stars!! Horrible!!! Nightmare!! Travelled with Spirit Airlines, then rented from Economy! Plane delayed 7 hours. Arrived in Orlando, Economy shuttle took between 45 min - 1 hour to pick us up from the airport. Cars are not in the terminal - about a 20 min drive away! Our car stunk, had white cat-like hair and sunflower shells in it! It was 1:30 AM - we’d been at airport all day, we took it! Airing it out did not take that funk away! We itched like crazy!! Rented through 3rd party. Didnt realize not in the airport. 25minutes for pick up then drove around to pick up others. Then got to Economy and was told they would have to hold $500 on a credit card or I could just pay them $20 and they wouldnt hold $500. This made me feel nervous. Then car was scratched up. This too made me feel nervous. I asked if they knew and wanted to document. They said they know all about all their cars. So then I asked for paper to mark down all dents scratches. Drove to family event. After car set for few days it started to smell like smoke/weed. Because I really only drove to familys home and back to economy rental. While checking to make sure I got everything, I found other peoples paperwork and that the backseat was stained and had holes in the upholstery. Clearly, the car had not been cleaned prior to giving it to me. I tried to take pictures too document everything. So this will not come back on me. Im keeping all pictures and paperwork for my protection. They wouldnt even give me a receipt showing a zero balance when I returned the car,and they even had time to look at it. This agency is very suspect. Use at own risk!!!!!

Not great for me. Long shuttle wait. Then, I used my own Sunpass transponder and because the plates are already associated with them I can not associate it with my account as a rental car. I called sunpass and economy and they say the system sometimes uses transponder and other times plate by mail. Since car is not in my name the toll goes to economy and they charge me $100. Be aware of that as well as a very large deposit needed. The manager and Jamie said they will try to help out with this and remove the fees. I will see how that goes and will report back. It is unlike;y I will see credit but hopeful that they do the right thing.

Terrible experience from renting the car to having to wait in line forever to take the shuttle to the rental car site. Everyone i spoke with seemed shady. The car i received was dirty and had over 70,000 miles! It didntfeel safe on the highway. Avoid if you can!

Poor customer service and poor attitudes. Cars are pretty dirty inside, and definitely doesn’t feel like it has been thoroughly cleaned or disinfected. If you don’t go through the hassle of finding out if your car insurance covers rental cars, they charge $35/day for the lowest coverage. Luckily I was able to provide that proof. They mistakenly didn’t put a “hold” on my credit card - they did a purchase for $500 on my credit card, and three weeks later I’m still fighting a battle to receive that refund.

I will not ever rent a car with company ever again in the future. They gave me a car that was not in a condition to drive and it was that it took forever to to get a car to drive. Other vehicles were dirty and did not drive.Also terrible customer service and it showed. The staff was rude and whenever a question is asked they did not want to take the time or provide the proper explanation. Also there remarks were very rude and I understood all that the spoke in Spanish. Very inappropriate and unprofessional.I would not recommend this company to anyone. We booked through a secondary company and had absolutely no instructions on what to do when we landed. Had no idea the rental place was not in the airport. We landed at 12:20am and had to call them not once but twice to get picked up to head to their shop. It took over 2 hours to get finished up and get our car. The guy who helped us was super nice. Just overall experience I was not satisfied with.

Perfect experience, just come prepared. You need to have insurance info that spells out your deductible and coverage, which is shown on my cards. If not, you need your declarations document. I was able to show both just on my phone. Everything went smoothly otherwise.We opted not to get the toll tracker for $9.95 a day which was good, as we never did need it. They werent pushy about it with me, although the agent working next to me was quite a bit pushier. All in all, if you come prepared, its a great deal on a rental car. The shuttle from the airport was well marked and a short distance from the airport.

This car company is not very customer friendly. It started with me booking through Priceline which is where the rental was paid using my debt card. I got there to pick up my car and was told because I booked on Priceline using a debt card it would be an additional daily charge even though I offered them my CC for a deposit. Then my flight was canceled on my return home. I was at the airport for almost 3 hrs trying to take care of flight arrangements while my family sat at the cell phone lot waiting on me. I finally got a flight but not until the following day. So after that ordeal I tried to return the car and of course by then the car was late for my original return time. I went in and they charged me $115 for an economy car and would not even work with me and charge me a 1/2 of day. I even showed the staff member my hotel/ food vouchers due to cancelled flight. Do not even deal with this company. I have never dealt with such rude unfriendly people.

Waited 30 min for the shuttle from the airport Driver was nice helped put luggage in the back of the van about a 10 min drive to the Economy parking lot office and helped getting bags out the van. Once we arrived at the Economy location it was another 45 to an hour computers went down once they came back up they went out again before we could get the sun pass for tolls decided not to wait since it was getting late and they didn’t know how long it was going to take gave it about 20 min before calling it. The Hyundai they gave use must have been backed into a few times from all directions which I guess is normal for a rental car but the little black ants crawling around in the inside interior was it for me if it wasn’t for the family emergency I was currently dealing with I would have returned the car back. Would have gave 1 star but the shuttle drive had the best customer service from the start of the trip till he dropped us off at the rental lot

I got one standard car from Orlando office for 1 week. 2 days after my car didnt work it.I checked oil level and I checked engine then I saw that ZERO oil in the engine.Unbelievable!!!They didnt put oil in the engine.I am thinking to sue them.Definitely NOT recommend it. Stay Away...

Overall it wasn’t super bad, but I had to put 2 stars. Compared to other rental companies, this place is at the bottom IMO. I booked through a secondary site that gave ZERO instructions on how to find Economy Rent a Car. I’m thinking their station is inside the Orlando airport because no specific instructions were given. I had to call the 1-800# just to find out I have to get on a shuttle to get to the rental location. Staff was nice so I can’t agree with previous reviewers about their attitudes; however, the car definitely was not cleaned prior to my rental. The outside of the car (Hyundai Elantra) looked fine, but the backseat had a huge stain that looked like it could have easily been cleaned had effort been put into it. Even the front seats had trash that could’ve easily been picked up. I mean, you get what you pay for but at the same time you should at least get the bare minimum. They need to do better.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Their site says their shuttle service from the airport runs 24/7 which we found out the hard way was not true. Our flight landed at 1 am and we were left stranded. We had to take an Uber to our hotel and then an Uber to the car rental the next day. Luckily, they reimbursed the Uber fees but with a hassle. Terrible customer service not only on the phones (rep hung up on us purposely) but also at the front desk where we were treated like it was our fault for believing their shuttle service ran 24/7. We only went by what their website showed 🤷🏿‍♀️. Believe all of the horrible reviews and don’t risk renting here. Pay the extra money for friendly reliable service.

Seriously one of the worst Car Rental companies. Do not waste your money. The actual charge was 2 1/2 the price of the quote. The location was not at the Cancun airport and took 3 hours to get our car. The car was a complete JUNKER seriously laughable. This company is not interested in customer retention or returning. So apparently most travel sites say this company is located in Orlando international airport when in fact it most certainly is NOT. Would have been nice to know before wandering MCO for an hour then waiting on shuttle buses. Car was fine and reasonable enough, but even customer service told me that it was on site at the airport when I booked it. Would have been nice to have proper communication folks.

Terrible. a lady already told us not to get a car from this place bc they left her in the side on the road with her bf and two kids. when we got our first car from here, the front was broken off and it was dirty in the inside. fast forward to returning the rental car. right now, were in the shuttle and my aunt had to get her phone, but the driver would not let us get off to go get her phone. there were also some others in the car, and they said that she had to get her phone also. he heard them, but didnt let her get off. he said to not worry about it and get it when we come back, but our flight leaves at 6:00am and its 4:00am now. were most likely going to miss our flight home because of him. pathetic.

Caution!! Do not take pictures record before you leave. They tried to blame me for a scratch “that wasn’t there” then I showed the video from the day I picked it up. The lady quickly changed her tone said oh the the computer said there was. So I told her why did you try to blame me. She quickly said “you are good to go. So if I didn’t have proof she would attempt to do shady business on me. They also double charged my account and my bank flagged as suspicious. I did not leave until the reversed it. The car was filthy and disgusting!!!! The smell and the amount of filth was insane. Two tires where completely bald. If had known these cars where like this I would have gone back to the airport and paid the extra $100. Warning they try some bogus opt out pay $9 a day to avoid them charging $500 deductible that they hold. This is the worst car rental place I have ever used.

NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN!!! I wish I could give this place a negative 5 stars. First you have to shuttle from the airport which would’ve been nice to know that beforehand. You have to have a copy of your insurance policy they said my reservations specified that but I didn’t see that (in the extra small print I’m sure). Then after verifying my insurance they charge me a $500 deposit. The car I was given was dented, scratched, had rips in the seat.Then I return the car & get charged $22 because it’s a gallon of gas below full???? Why If I dont dont get the insurance through them they charge $500 holding fee on my debit or credit card. Make it $50 seems like a scam to get people to pay for something they dont need. Im insured through root so I didnt need it but didnt want the hassle of $500 sitting on my card and what if they didnt reimburse it. Also the car wasnt very clean had sap like substance on the gear shift. Last thing it says airport but they are 10 minutes from the airport.

Carlos is the most disrespectful person Ive ever had to encounter in public service. He tried to charge me $35 per day for insurance. He got upset when I declined. This was my first time renting a car and I’ve had pretty good experience. Yes there were some hidden fees but I sort of anticipated that and it was nothing major.It was really easy to get to the rental place. Once you claim your luggage, head to level one and step out of the building. There’ll be Economy shuttle that’ll take you directly there. It’s about 10 minutes away. When you get there make sure you have a copy of your insurance and it’s under the renter’s name otherwise they won’t accept it.When you get there ask for Gabriel. He was very helpful, and took his time to go over everything in details. Highly recommend.The car was in a great condition, just couple of scratches that I didn’t care for as it was a rental car. The return process is super simple. Just make sure to return the car with a full tank, hand the keys and hop on the shuttle.

I wanted to give this company a chance but as you can see in the photos the terrible rating is justified. I had to wait for a long time to even get the first car and then after driving 100 feet I noticed something off with a tire. I pulled over and noticed the provided me and my family (which includes a 2 year old) a car with a huge hole in the tire that exposed the steel bands and a large bulge in the tire. They also provided a filthy car seat and then we had to wait another hour for a replacement car. While we waited staff pointed and laughed and were extremely rude. This is by far the worst rental company I have ever rented from rent at your own risk.

The car was in bad condition it needed a wheel alignment, it shakes on the freeway had scratches on the inside on the vehicle . And the hidden fees was tolls booth fees which we never went by a toll booth with over fees attached.It took over 40 minutes to get through the process of renting a vehicle. Car Rental location is off airport property and this is not prominently disclosed. Car had faulty wiper blades that needed to be replaced 15k miles ago; almost got into several accidents during storms. The doors on the cars were malfunctioning and kept closing on my kids; my kids are covered in bruises from this rental. The staff were unable to tell me if my transponder would work for Florida tolls and that i need to figure it out or they will charge $25/toll. Staff is unhelpful and untrained; cars suffer from severe deferred maintenance.

Great experience. You do need to be forewarned that it is not at the airport, but the shuttle is very quick from the airport. Would recommend if you are looking for a good deal. We traveled with two boys (one infant, one toddler) and it really went better than expected. Since it is not at the airport, arrive at least 2.5 hrs before your departing flight.

Literally the most horrible car rental experience I’ve had in 30 years and I haven’t even gotten the car yet.Shuttle at Orlando airport took over an hour to go 3.5 miles. Was told traffic, but funny thing is there was no traffic. Driver finally shows up and load everyone’s luggage in so it’s guaranteed to topple. This is at 1:45 in the morning.Finally get to car rental place and there is 2 people working and it takes them approx 20-30 minutes per customer to process a rental. It’s now 2:45 in the morning and I’m still standing in line behind 4 other people. I’ll maybe get my rental at 4:00 this morning.This place is absolutely dreadful. Don’t ever come.
