If I could give this place no stars I would.I will start off with the location in wonderful rainy Orlando. There is no inside for anyone to sit into. So when it rains everyone and there suit cases are packed into a corner getting rained on while there is 3 people behind a counter taking forver. Needless to say a line forms outside in the rain. And their other employees were watching the line form.Second issue is the car and our experience. The car has a problem off the bat. The smell inside is terrible. And low tire pressure sign ensues. My husband fills up the tire only to find a nail. We rented this car to basically get us to the hotel and that was it. We took a shuttle everywhere else. In under 10 miles we drove this car a nail magically appears. Im assuming they knew and just gave the car to us anyways because we wouldnt expect a nail to be in the tire after just getting it. Upon calling them they told us that after having the car 24 hours they cant do anything about it. We had the car a day and a half (most of them time it was in the parking lot of the hotel) and we drove it 3 miles total before the signal popped up. So we are stuck with this car that they can do nothing about giving it to us with a nail im sure. Long story short if you rent from them drive it around within 24 hours to make sure they didnt give you a defective car.BUT DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. If you see q great bundle deal, which is what we did, do not do it. They have terrible customer service

I upgraded to a mustang for $10 a day and they did not disclose the fact that It was capped at 80 miles an hour.Mixed feelings on the customer service. I called to confirm the return time and a man answered. He proceeded to inform me he could not find my account by name which I found absurd. 10 minutes later I called and a young lady offered to find my account by using my name. Price is definitely good. If they correct customer service issues then I would go back.

I rented a car from this location (Action Rental Car, Orlando Airport) during a vacation to Florida... First off, the original car they gave me was disgustingly dirty, so they gave me a second car which was only slightly better. Second, upon my return of the vehicle, months later, I received an additional $27.50 charge to my credit card for a bogus toll charge after obtaining a toll receipt from every single annoying toll while driving through the city. When I called the location to discuss the charge, the (Ghetto Customers Service Agent a Woman, hate I didn’t catch her name), rudely tried to justify the charge and told me that if I disputed the charge, they will win.I will never rent from this chain again, I warn you not to either!

Came last winter only place that accepted Cash even cut me a deal because he was cool & we were talking basketball, also Waived the early morning drop off fee when we had to be back at airport early morning before they were technically open. Had a office located at our hotel also It worked out perfect for us! Don’t believe all the bad ratings you just gotta know how to talk & relate to people and what times are less busy just like any other place of business. I’ll definitely be using them when I come back down from MN again. The process for me was easy and they accepted cash it made it a lot easier instead of putting huge deposit on credit. And also people complaining about going through the tolls and getting charged extra it’s very easy to do so without even knowing, just buy the thing that lets you go through them for an extra 20 or 30 bucks or whatever it is that way you don’t worry about accidentally going through a toll and getting a ticket.. that’s not this places fault that there’s tolls they ask if you wanna buy the thing so you don’t have to worry about that..

NEVER RENT FROM THEM THEY STOL EWW MY LUGGAGE OUT THE VEHICLE WHEN IT GOT TOWED SPOKE WITH RICHARD WHO WAS GIVEN ME THE RUN AROUND ABIUT THE COST AND WHERE MY LUGGAGE WAS AT THEN HE PUT ANOTHER MAN ON YHE PHONE WHO CLAIMED TO BE HIS SUPERVISOR AND TOLD ME I NEEDED TO PAY X AMOUNT OF MONEY TO GET MY LUGGAGE BACK WHEN M I HAD LEFT A $200 DEPOSIT FOR INCIDENTALS WHICH THIS SHOULD OF CLEARLY COVERED NOW STARTING THE LEGAL PROCESS OF SUEING THEM

What a WONDERFUL experience! We (a party consisting of 4 adults and 3 kids) just got home from a 11 day vacation in Orlando (International Drive). We originally rented a van from a different car service at the airport but after a day we discovered it was infested with roaches..yuck!!!! In a desperate search for a replacement van we came across the small company of Action Rental and they SAVED US!! We dealt with Ernie at the International Drive location and he couldt have done more to help us. Ernie was efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful! He set us up with a new 15 passenger van that was exactly what we were looking for. The van was new, comfortable and CLEAN!!!! It was very easy to work with Action Rental they even gave us a better price than our previous rental agreement at a different bigger company a the airport. Did you know that if you rent OUTSIDE the airport you save $$$ on different fees. Ernie filled us all in on how to do it right the next time! We will definitively rent from ACTION again. They will pick you up at the airport and shuttle you to their McCoy Ave location (right outside of the airport) and when its time to return they will shuttle you back. Ask for RAY at the McCoy location hes the BEST! Dont be afraid to use a smaller rental company they really did exceed my exceptions and I look forward to renting from them again.

First time and last time customer! Found a great rate through Expedia and was picked up in a timely manner at the airport by a courteous driver. My pleasant customer service experience ended when I arrived at the counter. The lady who helped me varied from unfriendly to rude, without provocation. Could not believe how unecessarily unfriendly she was! Tried to force me to purchase insurance from them because I did not have my insurance card on me. I refused. Who keeps their insurance card on them??? Its in my car, in another state (duh, Im in Orlando renting a car!) where I never look at it! She continued being rude even with my insurance company on the phone. Never again, regret every minute of that customer care experience.

I have made a reservation on their website, when I went to pick up the car, the agent refused to honor the reservation. He gave me different excuses to not rent me the car. He said that he did not trust me because I am a Florida resident. I had everything they required: Credit and debit card and car insurance and I am over 30 years of age. When I insisted to see a copy of their company policy, the simply asked me to GET OUT OF HIS OFFICEThis place has very unprofessional staff. I am not a thief and I did not ask for anything other than my reservation. I own a business across the street from this location and my employees refer a lot of business to them. I will never recommend them to anyone. If you are a tourist, they will rip you off with outrageous rate. DONT GO THERE!!!

Waited over an hour for shuttle from airport, get to the rental car place and they didnt have the van we prepaid for. We had to get 2 cars and then the next day they were supposed to bring us a van to our hotel and we were only 20 mins from the car rental place and they took 1 hr to get us the van. They tried their best but we will never use this company again.

Worst customer service ever, a bunch on monkeys behind the telephones when you all them. Rang them 6 times and was left on hold for over an hour. The staff are very unprofessional and don’t care about wasting your time, they will change the price and see what they can get from you. All the reviews are true this place is truly not worth contacting, didn’t know a rental company could be so poor.

Do not rent car from them, they will rip you off, they charge extra money for nothing. Got a bill saying that i need to pay toll, though a man who gave us a car explained that toll is paid. FRAUD!!!

Unfortunately, despite paying a large fee for use of a car for 4 days this company misrepresented our obligation to toll fees. What this means is that, after you have gone home they take money from your credit card for toll fees you are not aware of. They charge $25 per fee so average extra income of $200 per month per hire car. Absolute robbery. Dreadful customer service and a terrible attitude when you challenge their actions.

The man that worked at night in the building was extremely rude to me after I had waited for an hour for them to pick me up because they made a mistake. Also 5 months after I rented from them they charged me $80 for 3 tickets they claimed I received for unpaid toll roads. I knew they were lying because I never took a toll road. The woman told me she had proof and she would send me the tickets. I told her to go ahead because I never got them and I want my money back. She later apologized saying there was a mistake made and they had me confused with another person. If you do rent from them get rid of the card you gave them because they will attempt to charge you later.

Horrible place they will charge you, and refuse to pay. I was given an unsafe car, had a almost life ending accident but was attempted to be charged to tow and replace the tire!

I rented a car in August on a car rental site and had no idea this place was NOT located at the International Airport. We had to call for a ride to this place. The service was RUDE and was not open in the EARLY MORNING hours to return the car. We had to return the car at another site and were charged more money to return it there. We then got charged some $40 plus in October for some Toll Road violations They said this was in the contract that we signed. Was this explained to us-----NO!!!!

They charge my credit card a month after for no reason. They think they can use your credit card like they or what. Worse place and they stole money from me.

Easy renting a car from Action. The dude Earnest I think picked me up from the hotel. I was on my way in less then 15 mins. I had to return the car at the Airport location. Which wasnt but 6 mins if that away from the airport. Dude drove the van really fast but that was ok. He was really nice as well. I had a brand new Jetta which was nice. After being charged by Alamo $268.00 and getting put out the car. I will now be using Action Car Rental. Dont let the bad reviews have you second guessing Action Car Rental. I dont know if their family owned or what. They dont have a very big staff and thats even better. Even though you may have to wait a couple mins if its a busy time. Action Car Rental exceeded the bad reviews. I had no problems none whatsoever. In and out and zooming down the road. Miguel, Jan, Earnest was all very nice people. Action Car Rental has nice cars.

It sucks. The insurance cost more then the car. I paid for the transponder not in the car. The car wa dirty inside. Had parts missing out side. Broken. Stay away. Lousy costumer service. I guess we cant afford im the US

William saved the day, he was the shuttle driver the day I flew out of Orlando airport, leaving my phone in the rental car I returned William went out of his way to find my phone and bring it to the airport and get it to me.What an awesome employee. Thank you William!!!!!!!

I just called to make a reservation. They give me another phone number. I call the other number. I ask if he can attend in Spanish and his answer was to throw the phone in my face! Suck !!

They are not reliable, as they have the credit card number, they continue making charges without reason, I do not recommend them, until 6 months after having rented a vehicle in that agency.
