Love the area, love the updated apartment and love the employees here! It has been nice to feel at home and the apartment upon move-in was flawless! I love feeling like my daughter and I are taken care of living at this complex! Just this past weekend I was outside trying to change a tire with my three year old the the maintenance tech Mike came over and spent 20 min helping me take my tire off and going over some helpful tips. Super appreciated! The office has made some great hires and changes to the maintenance staff it rocks!

Stephen (property manager) is very responsive to any questions or concerns you may have and runs a professional staff to assist with any office needs. The office staff and maintenance crew are an exceptional team of individuals that are professional, and very people oriented. The grounds are very maintained and the community is quite during the respected hours. Overall this is a great place to live!

This is the place Ive been searching for! After a long day at work, you just want to come home and relax. No loud parties, no creepers, everything is clean, its non-smoking and I dont even have to take out my own trash. The office staff is always polite and helpful and maintenance is quick to respond. Its so close to everything I need. I love my home!

So I moved in over a month ago and couldn’t be happier with the location and my apt. I had the walls painted before I moved and they turned out really nice. The staff in the office had been so helpful and has responded quickly to any of my requests. The maintenance staff listened to me when I told them that the carpet needed to be replaced and light fixtures switched out. Jeff especially went out of his way to make sure all the light fixtures were installed correctly and replaced my garbage disposal. He stayed til 7 o’clock the night before Xmas eve. It looks great and bright now in my apt. I have recommended this complex to any of my friends. Thank you guys for helping me out.

I moved in here in November and could not be happier! Stephen went above and beyond to meet my needs. He was always quick to respond, and made me feel at home and safe. Maintenance responded within 24 hours and was very thorough. I would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a new place to call home.

My brother lived her his wife slipped while pregnant and they tried to blame it on them.This place had just tried to squeeze a lot of money out of my brother for violations he would get after he moved out 2 months before his lease ended! That’s how bad this place is

I never really leave reviews. I just wanted to say that the staff has been very responsive and also friendly. So very different from my last apartments.

My husband and I lived here for 1.5 years. It was a nice facility but DEFINITELY has its faults. It is supposed to be smoke-free but the residents above us smoked on their balcony ALL the time. The management would not do anything about it, even though there were cigarette buts all over the ground, until we could show them a picture of them smoking which was VERY weird. We also smelled weed ALL the time through the walls! When we moved out, we still had to pay a cleaning fee even though we had our apartment professionally cleaned. They took pictures of every little detail, even the scuffs that were there when we moved in, and are making us paying $250 for a full paint which is NOT needed. Plus, they WILL NOT tell us where our deposit went. I have tried to call people for a month and have not heard anything back. We loved the location but it is not worth it.

Warning after move-out:My biggest concern and caution is the move out process. I cleaned the apartment thoroughly and took pictures/videos of the immaculate condition I left it in. I know apartments are typically notorious for keeping deposits and charging ridiculous fees after your move out. It seems they know you cant do much about it, so they make sure to keep the deposit no matter what condition you leave the apartment in. If you shampoo the carpets yourself, they will still charge you for a professional carpet cleaning. I dont think this was part of our contractual agreement. Just know, you may be charged no matter what condition you leave the apartment in.On top of losing my deposit, I received a bill for additional cleaning. None of this was described or itemized, just a bill with an amount to pay. I had to call to see what in the world this was about. After paying the complex many thousands in rent, the fact that they will pull this as a way of thanking you for your patronage is just bad business.As one other reviewer commented, I can attest to the frequent entries for various reasons/inspections into my apartment. At one point it seemed to be every 3 weeks that entry was being made, which felt like an excessive invasion of privacy.The complex is clean and quiet. For the most part, it was a decent place to stay, with good tenants.

Loved the community and management when I first moved in. Once they switched management it went downhill. The office manager, Stephen, also lied to me about pre leasing my apartment when it came time to move. My new move in date at my new home had been moved and I needed a few extra days but he insisted the apartment was pre leased. It’s been like 4 months and there is still no one in my old apartment. Lol. 👎🏽

The maintenance team has been AWESOME!! Jeff and Christian were extremely helpful to me when we had a power outage. And the office manager (Stephen) circled back with me to make sure all of my issues were resolved!

The office manager decided to charge me a fee for “touching up the paint” in the apartment, cleaning the carpet, and replacing the drip pans in the apartment when I moved out. He told me that the $100+ charge for cleaning the carpet was because I didn’t hire a professional cleaner to clean the carpet when I moved out. He said although the lease does not state that I needed to do that “everyone does it” so I should have known that I needed to do. Let me make myself clear, my lease does not state that I had to hire a profesional cleaner to clean my carpet upon move out nor does it state that I had to apply a fresh coat of paint to the walls but he’s charging me for it because the apt is supposed to be “move in ready” for the next tenant. It was “my responsibility as a tenant to maintain their property and have it ready to be moved in for the next tenant.” Interesting because the day I moved in the previous manager didn’t know I was coming so she told me I had to wait about six hours so the maintenance man could clean the carpet. See where I’m going with this? The mgr wants me to pay professional cleaners to clean the carpet which by his own admission “only needed a light cleaning” but no one paid the carpet to be professionally cleaned before I moved in. This man has harassed me and has discriminated against me since he’s taken over and now he’s using his position to further bully me with monetary means. I believe this man is a vile human being and he will not get a dime from me. I’ve tried to contact corporate but no one has returned my call. My advice would be if you don’t have the complexion for protection do not move in this complex because you will be harassed every chance they get. I don’t know if it’s because I’m black, a female, or because I made noise complaints about his friend who lived next door or maybe it’s because I’ve contacted corporate on him before and this is his way to retaliate but one thing I do know is that mgr has had it out for me for a long time and I completely understand why everyone is moving out. Oh and another thing I received SEVERAL trash fines that belonged to someone who lived below me. I had to fight to get them removed. He is an inept manager and he is going to single handedly run this company into the ground.

The outside common areas are clean. The landscaping is manicured nicely. The maintenance team fixes issues promptly. Management is professional and keeps the residents well informed when routine maintenance will be done.

I won’t absolutely NOT recommend anyone to move here! The staff do not know the contract given at move in. After reading the move in contract, I had a few question and no one in the office could answer my question, they just told me to read the contract.When I went to move into my one bedroom in the middle of the month I asked to Waite to move in on the first, and they lady told me that my rent would go up to 1,000 dollars. FOR A ONE BED ROOM!! When I asked why, no one told me why. DO NOT MOVE HERE!! They are cheap scapes!!!

I honestly would not recommend anyone to move to these apartments. As nice as they look on the outside, they are very overpriced, and the office staff are very rude and unprofessional. the pluming is very outdated which means something is always breaking or just isnt working. privacy is non existent, maintenance will come into your apartment within a 12hr notice. again, office staff is highly highly rude, one guy- I hope hes not the manager- yelled at my wife and huge up in her face.so again, if you want to consider moving to this property, please read all the extra fee they do not tell you about and please do a thorough inspection of the unit before signing your name on that line.

If you’re considering renting here, I urge you to seek better options. I can provide an unbiased revision of their property.1. Office staff is completely unprofessional, manager included.2. Expect to find fees, not previously disclosed, when you get your first monthly rent bill.3. The office staff is never in the office or answer phone calls.4. The complex has plumbing issues.5. Expect to be charged unfounded charges if you ever move out.6. My apartment was broken into. (In retrospect, maybe this should have been the first point)7. Don’t expect any privacy. They are in there weekly. Don’t expect a 24hr notice either. It’s either 12hr notice or no notice at all.I’m currently building a lawsuit against them, If you are a previous tenant and can attest to this please reach out to me.

The Retreat is an awesome place to live. Great location, nothing is too far away. Would recommend living here. The manager, Micah I think is her name, is awesome and has helped us with anything we needed. If something needs to be fixed it’s always done in a timely manner. Cool place to live!

If you enjoy privacy, dont bother coming here. Theyve given me a 24-hour notice 12-14 hours prior to entering into the premises on several occasions. Theyve also given me many blanketing week-long notices spanning over a month. Its not just for extermination. Its for vague inspections every other week.

I came to tour the Retreat during the last week of June as I have heard great things about this property from previous residents. When I walked in a blonde staff member came to “assist” me with why I was there. She was snotty, rude and seemed to talk down to me as she was better than everyone else. I felt uncomfortable and decided to not even go tour the complex. The apartment complex should consider getting nicer staff than the blonde.

We lived there for a year, the staff was always wonderful, the move in process was a touch long (the paperwork felt like buying a house) and the move out was easy. Our dogs even tore up the carpet and they were more than fair. (unlike any landlord I didnt feel like they were trying to punish me for moving out) what a great experience it was for the year we lived at the Retreat @ Quail North!

I love this community, it’s absolutely GORGEOUS & it makes you feel happy about coming home. Very quiet & kept very well. Office staff is amazing, Briggetta was amazing getting me moved in. Lauren is also so kind. Would recommend these to anyone looking for a more upscale apartment community in a convenient location!

I would debate many of the negative reviews. Ive lived here for 4 years and the customer service has been outstanding. The front desk, Briggette, Lauren and Jaime go out of their way in making the tenant their priority. Maintenance has always worked with me, as I have a German Shepherd, in fixing anything and everything in a timely manner. The grounds are always well kept and well lit. They throw regular get togethers providing food and drink for tenants to get to know one another. I highly recommend the Retreat at Quail North to be your next home.

So far the Apartment hasnt been bad but they dont value a persons privacy. They were supposed to paint the outside door and instead someone dripped paint over 5 feet inside my apartment there was no reason to be there & no reason to drip paint inside the apartment on the hardwood floors. They were painting the outside door, not the inside and not over 5 feet inside my apartment. The blonde girl possibly the Apartment Manager said that she would back up her guys any day of the week & was clearly being snotty to me when I was leaving when she said have a nice day to my back very sarcastically. Bottom line they dont value the residents privacy & treat their residents as adversaries if they complain. Their maintenance crew doesnt fix anything correctly the first time, very incompetent or lazy IMO.Like Share

I lived at the Retreat at Quail North from Nov 2017 - Oct 2018. It was supposed to be an apartment community for business professionals which I am. Early in the summer of 2018, they started renting drug addicts, gang members, Section 8 housing residence. I felt scared for my safety on a daily basis until I left. The smell of marijuana and meth permeated my building constantly. When walking from the parking lot to apt, loiters would gawk, stare and make sexual comments. DO NOT live in this apartment community!

I constantly had issues with the ladies in the office, specifically Jaime, things were broken all of the time, and the apartments were not kept up. There was trash was always all over the yard and stairs, and the trash company would not pick up the trash half of the time. I did not feel safe living here, as my car was vandalized in their parking lot twice and there were several people trying to break down my door while living there. I had to go into the office to speak about it with them, and Jaime was very unprofessional and was already aware of the situation and said there was nothing they should be expected to do. I had to put in 3 requests to have my garbage disposal fixed which was broken when I moved in, and took over 6 months to even be looked at. The air conditioning went out all of the time. I had brought in a friend to refer them to stay at these apartments and the ladies were very condescending and rude to my guest. I also had several issues upon moving out. I will never recommend anyone over to live at these apartments.

I have lived here over a year, I love the way everything is kept clean, the maintenance guys are great, also the office staff . Neighbors are friendly, the lawns are well kept . A great place for familys . The pool and gym are also great . I am happy to say I have signed up for another year .

Used to live here with my x-boyfrend. Loved these apartments. Very clean neat smoke free community. Wood floors & granite countertops.

Considered moving here very nice apartment homes and maintenance crew. However the staff in the office treated as though it was a problem for me to ask questions. Got very aggressive tone and an i really dont want to deal with you attitude.
