We love AVE!!!!! My daughter started going to Meagan and she loves her. She always listens to what she wants and gives her expertise and professional opinion. Meagan is so sweet and really cares about everyone’s hair but she cares about us to. There are 5 of us that go to her now and we all are very pleased by her!!!! Freaking AVE SALON. I can’t even say enough about how much I love this place. First of all, can we talk about Carolynn? The QUEEN of HAIR!!!!! I have gone to her for MANY different cuts, styles, colors and have NEVER been disappointed. I trust her so much with my hair I’ve even walked in and said “do whatever you feel like doing to my hair” and have gotten some of the best cuts just leaving it up to her professional opinion and artistic vision! I had a last minutes appt with Aspen, she did an absolutely phenomenal job and made my hair look fantastic. I will definitely be going back to her in the future. The salon was beautiful and very clean, everyone was very nice.

I went in for a cut and color today and I asked for a hazelnut dye with some light highlights. Thats not what I got at all. I came out with the exact same color hair, which is a dark brown and some streaks back from the early 2000s. I was not satisfied at all and I did Express my disappointment buy still paid $120 for for a complete mess. I will never go back to this salon.

Dishonest in many respects. Owner was not at all professional!! Raised her voice while talking over an issue. I was hospitalized the day before my appointment i called they were closed. I left a message explaining i couldnt be there. They charged my account $50 as a no show. I recommend you DO NOT text with them as it can be very misunderstanding. Kelli Myers

Sydnee does a fantastic job, especially with curly hair. My hair is difficult to color and has turned out great each time. I can honestly say I have received the best cuts that Ive ever had.I think all the stylists here would do a great job.

My daughter had an appt to have her hair styled for her wedding day. She chose this place because of pictures they had and good reviews. The salon called an hour before the appt and asked if they could move it an hour later, when I told them no, it is for a wedding, they were rude and basically said too bad a different customer had changed their mind on their color so if we came at the appt time we would just be sitting around waiting. After being demanding and saying I guess we are stuck with what you say since this is for a wedding and too late to go somewhere else, they said they would see what they could do and call back. They still moved the appt half an hour later. The did a rushed and horrible job. The style and the curls were falling out even before the ceremony and I had to fix it. Poor service and quality. There are so many great salons out there. Please do yourself a favor and find a better place to go.

Unfortunately, I didnt even make in the door of the salon. First, I was left on hold for several (3+) minutes, and began to wonder if my call was forgotten about, while the receptionist tried to find me an appointment. Then after the call was picked up the girl had to put me on hold again to go ask the stylist if she could book my appointment in the spot she wanted to and someone new answered the phone, which is fine. My biggest issue is that after my appointment was booked I was told I would need to give them my credit card information, for their records in case I no showed the appointment, which I have no desire to do considering I need a hair cut. Or I could stop by and put down a $25 cash deposit to cover me in case of no show. The stylists might be amazing, but Im very uncomfortable giving a vendor my credit card info for them to hold on file when I have never even stepped foot in their establishment or making a special visit to the place just to put $25 down on a service I have yet to receive, just in case I no show.

Erica is so awesome! I have been going to her for over a year and always leave with a smile on my face. She is a sweet and very caring individual. I appreciate the care she puts in making my day bright. I always get compliments on my hair.

My daughter in law referred me to this salon and her hair stylist, Sydnee.I showed Sydnee a photo of a style I wanted and we discussed what she would be able accomplish with my hair type. After the cut she showed what products to use and how to style the the new do. Makes me wish I lived here so she could be my new stylist.The salon is decorated with a fresh updated look but the reason I downgraded to four stars is that the building does not accommodate the disabled.

Erica is absolutely amazing. I have been working with her for a little while now and I love how helpful she is when it comes to my vision for my hair. She never lets me leave unhappy.

So comfy, warm and inviting. Great customer service. They offer a wide range of stylists with a whole range of expirence. The atmosphere is perfect for men and women young and old. Parking is a little space but nothing to discourage a visit. Try it. You wont be disappointed.

Went in after a disaster at another salon in the area. Jodi did a color correction and brought me back to an almost white blonde. She did a really in depth consultation and was so understanding and nice. I’ll be going back to her from now on. The rest of the staff also seemed very nice and knowledgeable. I can’t recommend this salon enough.

Kimberly did an amazing job with my hair!! Im seriously in love and highly recommend her! She gave me tips on how to take care of it, where I can get the shampoo, even told me about leave in conditioner, which I didnt even know was a real thing!

I love this salon and refer all of my friends to them. Lacey Valdez is the best hairstylist I have found and have been going to her for years. Her haircuts are excellent - just what you ask for, stylish, trendy. I receive so many compliments on my hair all because of her. I dont color my hair often, so cant really comment on that area. I got tired of taking my kids to dollar cuts and then to Lacey to fix their hair, so I now just take them to her too. And, she charges the same for kids cuts as the chain stores!!! She works her hardest to get you in around your schedule. She is never late. Cant say enough good things.

I called into the salon and the receptionist highly recommended Lacey Valdez to touch up my blonde hair. The salon is darling and has a unique and modern look but unfortunately I had a negative experience there. My stylist was running 30 minutes late but the receptionist was very friendly and offered me a water and talked to me about the weather and what not. I was very impressed with the staff there, everyone including the receptionist was well dressed and had the look of someone who worked at a trendy and professional establishment. Unfortunately there was one stylist that was wearing a very revealing top. It was completely see through and all she had on underneath was a bra. I guess there is always one bad apple in the bunch. It was fairly busy in the salon and the owners young children were there, unfortunately the kids were running around and crying and made it hard to hear in the already busy salon. Another factor that was very off putting about this salon, was the owner asked the receptionist to mop. As I mentioned before, it was busy in the salon. After the girl had mopped, the floors were wet and there was a nasty bleach like smell in the air. I and other clients were avoiding slipping on the floors. To me it just seems very unprofessional and a safety hazard to be mopping and making the floors wet and soapy when its busy. And this is just my opinion, but that also seems like something you would have a janitor do, after hours. I was very displeased with the unprofessional atmosphere of the salon but Lacey did a wonderful job on my hair. Unfortunately, I am not willing to be up with screaming children and smelling bleach for 2 hours just to get my hair done in the future.

Its always nerve wracking finding someone new to cut your hair. I found Ave Salon online and on their website you can schedule an appointment, I was scheduled with Sydnee Rumsey, before my appointment I had no idea who she was and could not find any reviews on her. I wanted a fresh perspective on my hair and I am transitioning from an A-line haircut to growing it out...in other words my hair is irritating me at the length that it is. Sydnee was super nice and made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. I explained to her my hair goals and we figured out together the kind of hairstyle that would work for me while growing my hair out. Sydnee trimmed up my hair and gave me an awesome Razor cut that left my hair with tons of movement and volume. Sydnee was very knowledgeable of her products she used and even explained to me how to use them! (I had no idea I was using my texturizing spray all wrong.) Also Sydnee gives an awesome scalp massage, I was in heaven! I definitely recommend Sydnee if you are in the market for a new stylist!:)

I am a mom of 4 kids and having time for myself rarely happens. It had been around 8 years the last time that I dyed my hair (box dyes by the way lol) so this year I wanted to do something different to my hair I decided I wanted to dye it professionally. My hair is important to me I didnt want to ruin it and I also didnt want to travel far to find a good place to do my hair, so upon conducting my own research that took me two months! I came upon AVE Salon I looked at their work and saw reviews and I thought I want to do my hair there. The first time that I called the receptionist told me they were really booked and gave me the number to one of their stylist and maybe she could do my hair sooner, I called her and text her she didnt answer my call and answered my text until like the next day! that didnt leave a good impression and felt like I wasnt a priority for her. So I called back to the salon and I am glad that I did I asked the receptionist to find me a stylist and what the openings where and I would see if it would work for me. she booked me with Erica M. She was amazing!!! she was very friendly she gave me space( since I was looking for much needed relaxation lol) my hair came out a beautiful caramel bayalage. I will be going back to Erica M. the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing it wasnt too loud or too quiet. Great Job :-)

The salon its self is very comfortable. This review is mostly meant for a hairdresser there, and Im assuming the salons cancelation policy.I needed to cancel my appointment with Julie, she replied okay I will have to charge you a cancelation fee. Because I canceled rather short notice, I was okay with that ON MY NEXT APPOINTMENT. When I told julie she replied well.. we have your card on file so I will charge that or you can venmo me. I replied - no julie there is no money there I dont authorize this.Look at the account today - 50 dollars was taken out.Rewind 6 months ago - she told both my friend and I that the salon needs a credit card in order to hold the appointment. There has been no communication on a cancelation policy, or that the salon could charge my account at any given time.

Straight razor shaves are the best.

I am not sure about the salon as a whole but stay away from Samantha Hurst. Extremely unprofessional behavior when you are not satisfied with her work (she had done my hair 3 times before so she knew what I was looking for). Even when you offer to pay for her time and materials to redo it she cannot handle the criticism and will refuse to work with you again in the future. No guarantee is offered and the salon has no policy for individual stylists to set things right. I asked for blonde highlights and medium length hair (like always) but for some reason this time got short hair with dark highlights. Not a biggie as I thought it could easily be corrected with a few added highlights. Sam disagreed and canceled all future appointments and refused to add the highlights (like I said, even after I offered to pay for her time and materials). In all fairness the salon owner was kind but did not require a redo from Sam. A refund also was not offered (not even a partial refund so I could go elsewhere to have my hair redone). In the end there was nothing I could do but go elsewhere and pay full price to have my hair corrected.
