Cindy who did an overlay on my nails, was very kind and patient. I have a neurological disorder, and I shake frequently. I love my nails! Great customer service, fair price, and everything was great! My daughter also loves her nails! We will definitely be back for her a pedicure soon! ❤

The staff was nice, but did not do a very good job. First, a man did my acrylics and then they randomly had this woman draw the white tips on my nails for my acrylics. I wanted french tip/gel acrylic full set. The woman did something completely different from what I asked. I also showed them a picture. The lines are very sloppy and not uniform. They charged me $45, definitely not worth the price. I was really bummed because I just wanted my nails to look nice.

I have been coming here for over a year. They all wear face masks during this time and make sure everything is being cleaned and sanitized. Theyre always friendly and not judging. I absolutely love them. I come here for their positivity and the great work they do.

Got a mani pedi and the mani sucked the gel polish is all over my hands and the top coat close to my cuticle. I asked to have the portion of my mani to be refunded and they wouldnt. All they wanted to do was re-do it but I had things to do after. I told them I wouldnt come back they said to make an appointment next time. I asked to change my tip amount and at least they let me do that. So not very helpful. I understand that no one is perfect but 2 ladies looked at the work done and they were trying to fix it before I even said anything. So not giving me a refund is unfair. Dont recommend the gentleman working there and I will not be going back.

The salon is beautiful with paintings and zen vibes, they are very clean and professional.Yet, the actual polish and quality on the manicure and pedicures we received were poor, I did feel the workers were rushed even though we had scheduled appointments and there was no line of people waiting.On the quality of the manicure and pedicures recieved - the polish was applied rushed and unevenly, thick in some spots and missing in others. The dead skins usually removed were only half done and again rushed. My manicure started chipping and falling off the very next day :/I personally wouldnt be returning to this salon, as I just do not feel it was a good exchange in service for the monies paid.

The facility was very clean and peaceful. All the employees were very kind and accommodating. They listened to what I wanted and Cindy gave me the cutest valentine nails. I told her to do something cute and she definitely came through.

My sister and I had an appointment today for the “ Deluxe Pedicure. It was worth EVERY penny! Plus it was fairly priced. Customer service was prompt and very friendly. Among the regularly expected pedicure routine was a wonderful scrub, (like a thick Shea butter on your legs) covered with a hot towel, paraffin wax on your feet, extensive lotion massage of feet and lower legs (and it lasted for a long time!),. The painted toes themselves were professionally done and look great. Very happy with this visit and definitely coming back soon to ask for Cindy! She makes me feel comfortable and she does a great job on my toes!!

The girl that did my toenails was so nice! My toenails looks super cute! I actually read the bad reviews before coming and got scared but I was pleasantly surprised.

Ive been going here for many years and they feel like family. Its close and they do a great job. I rarely have to wait but then again I try to avoid going during high traffic times.Cant beat the price, $20 for gel nails or $35 for hands and feet gel. Kids are $20 for regular pedicure and manicure. As of this review. Im giving them 5 stars because the price and service together are very good.Another place I went was as good or better but so crowded that I always had a long wait.Sometimes I bring my daughter, since she was 3 and she loves it. Theyre so good to her and I dont always have someone to watch her. BasicGreat massage chairs and theyll bring you a bottle of water. And you get a massage with your pedicure or manicure. This is the best!I like that they use the electric nail filer not the regular kind. Updated to add it looks like they use both kinds.I havent tried the face or brow wax. I always get gel or regular nails. Sometimes deluxe for more massage.I recently sent my husband to get his nails cut and he raved about the massage. Plus his nails arent scratchy.Good magazines to read but I usually dont need to stay long enough to read them.I have been to a lot of places like this and this one is my favorite. Its gotten a lot more cluttered over time and if I could change anything I would prefer less decorations.

If youre looking for trendy nails and full set then I dont really recommend this place. They definitely need more practice.

I came to these guys for about two years. Tracy was awesome. Tracy is no longer there (I discovered this after I made an appt with/for her over the phone) and I saw someone outside of the usual.I wanted a cute Halloween set done this season. I literally brought pictures of what I wanted. They told me yes and I sat down. After the color, another person was grabbed to attempt the artwork. She tried but it just wasn’t even close.The acrylic is too thick, my nails are uneven, and the colors are blotched (Which is pretty hard to do with just black right?) I wish Tracy was still there. I wish the staff were a little more friendly. I wish they had cared a little more. I used to love this place and I hope they get back on their feet.

Sunflower Nail is by far my favorite place for a pedicure, anywhere. I have been coming here for years and never want to go anywhere else. In the past, I have spent far more at very high-end spas whose staff has not been anywhere near as meticulous and thorough as the nail techs at Sunflower. It is great value, every time. Sunflower has the friendliest service and the most luxurious pedicures around. I have had appointments with Brian, Li and Cindy, and all do excellent work. You actually get a proper foot massage as part of the deluxe pedicure--so many places seem to think a pedicure is just a polish color change, but not here! They completely smooth away all rough, dry skin and know to trim toenails straight across so my feet are cute and healthy. I am especially pleased with Sunflowers commitment to safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. All tools are clean, the great massage chairs are always freshly sanitized, everyone wears a mask and there are plexiglass barriers both between client/nail tech and customers to keep everyone safe and healthy. All these extra precautions make me feel like I can still enjoy a pedicure as a treat. Thank you!

Terrible. I got a full set of acrylics today and will never be returning. The woman was sweet but I feel more qualified to give acrylics then anyone in this salon. I went w my friend and they are lumpy, uneven and none are the same shape (not that any of them were a decent shape anyways). My friend’s nails were not even filled completely and you could see her actual nail. Don’t waste your time and money. I’m also currently in pain because they leave cuts and unnecessarily filed my nails so thin.

I came to get my nails done with some friends and I wanted gel nails and they put acrylics on me and I had to pull them off. Then I got my toes done and there was paint all over my toes when they were finished. And before that they asked us to move so they could help a lady who had just walked in and we had an appointment. Not impressed

They did a very good job on my fill and were nice.

I went in today and got acrylics I noticed the color wasn’t the color I wanted the girl also grabbed the wrong one for my sister but someone else grabbed the right one for her but I told her it wasn’t the right one and showed her again and she insisted it was and it ended up not being the right color, waste of money and for them to keep telling me they were right, ridiculous.

I’m not usually a complainer... but guys.. I HAVE TO! My experience last night was absolutely ridiculous. I have gone to Sunflower Nails in South Ogden for YEARS and I’ve always been happy. But I went last night to get them done for my upcoming cruise and this is what I ended up with! I asked for ALMOND SHAPE and a different color but they told me “that wasn’t my personality” 😳 later on, I pointed out my concern with the edges and shape but they just continued to file them more and more until my skin and nails were raw! To top it off, they refuse to refund my money. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Needless to say, I won’t be going back EVER again. MASSIVE thank you to Sadie Jo Lane for staying up until 1 am to fix this disaster! If you need your nails done, go to her! She’s AMAZING! 💛

I got a full set today and am very upset with it. I will not be coming back. The man who did my set pushed my cuticles down very aggressively and was just harsh with my hands throughout the whole process. It hurt quite a bit!:( As well as not checking to make sure all my nails were the same length. Each one is a different length, clumpy, and badly shaped. Very sad with the way they turned out.

They didn’t give me what I asked for, he didn’t even bother asking me what shape I wanted and totally went off and did his own thing. they look absolutely hideous and I would never recommend going to this place. when I asked him if I could get the coffin shape all he said was “it’s too late.” I should’ve had them remove them, just wasn’t sure if they could do that part right either (: most definitely thee worst nail salon I’ve EVER been to.

This place is full of nice people but I will never again even consider going back. Please if you want to like your nails then go anywhere but here. I asked for natural colored square acrylics. I received shovel tipped nails with slanted tips (that were supposed to be straight). They did not use enough acrylic and I can see me nail showing through the colored (not see through) acrylic. They filled the edges of my nails raw and I left completely unsatisfied. I was also waiting for my friend to get her nails finished, and noticed one of the workers doing a pedicure drop a led curing light, that was plugged in, into the lady’s foot water.

This salon has been consistently great for years. Never had a less than great experience. I tell anyone who asks to go here!

This was my first time here .My mother told me what a great place this was so we came from Brigham City .We both got the Deluxe Pedicure for $30 and I can honestly say that I wont be going anywhere else .Brian was so kind .He encouraged me to lay back and relax, enjoy his work .He didnt talk my ear off or ask me if I was interested in adding this or trying that .It was so great to just unwind and disconnect for a bit .The services that they put into the Deluxe package are WELL worth the price .Brian even brought my sandals to me and put them on, unrolled my pant legs and cuffed them for me then helped me to my comfy chair to wait for my people to be done . I love Sunflower Nails. Lai gives the best pedicure in town. He spent time on my nails and gave a wonderful calf and foot massage. The spa was nice and clean and the rest of the staff was kind and professional. I will definitely recommend Lai to my friends.

The staff here are very nice and the service is great, but they often dont listen to what you ask in terms of shape or length preference. I went in for a full set and while they were super nice and made me feel very comfortable, I asked for an almond shape and was given something between a square and round shape, and the nails were crooked, uneven shapes and lengths, and the acrylic and the gel was extremely thick. They were so much longer than I asked for that I actually went home and attempted to just file them down myself, but because the acrylic was so thick, I ended up with ugly, extremely impractical, thick nails. I went to another place and got them fixed, but it was a total waste of money. My sisters nails didnt turn out as bad as mine, but they were still extremely thick, lumpy, and had a very uneven shape. She also asked for a rounded shape, but was told that it would look like and old lady, but she insisted on that shape, and her technician just told her to get a square shape next time because it would look better. Overall these guys are very nice, but they tend to try to argue with you if you choose a shape or length they dont like, and Ive been consistently unhappy with the quality of my nails. I will not be returning and I recommend taking your business elsewhere, at least for a full set.

I’ve been getting gel manicures at Sunflower for a year now and they are always exactly what I want. Tracy is my favorite nail tech and she always does a fantastic job and is very considerate of my preferences and time. She is very talented and the prices are reasonable.

I want to highlight the fact that this is one of the cleanest nail salons Ive ever been to. The service was great and attention to detail is amazing. Its also one of the more affordable shops which is great because it will keep me coming back! Im very satisfied with my gel manicure and pedicure. They really took care of me here and offered advice and their opinion on certain things. Im so happy I found a go to place.

I just got the deluxe with polish done by a very nice gentleman there and while everything was a spa like experience, the results were not completely to my expectations. I love the work he did on my toenails but the callouses that I walked in with are the same . I know there could have been more buffed off had he dedicated a little more time. I wish I could post a picture- it really is disappointing. Nice staff and comfortable surroundings though!

Had a friend go and said that one of the workers was so hard when they did her pedicure that she went home from her pedicure with bruises on her feet. The worker also was ignoring her telling them it was hurting her feet until a coworker near told them to stop.

**NAIL TECH HERE***I use to come here religiously to see Tracie to get my nails done. Only to find out that she has left that salon (honestly not surprised, she was was overqualified for this salon) I decided to try someone else since the salon is so close to my house. The owner, didn’t get his name, started my full set. When I told him the length and shape I wanted (and have been getting for years) I was met with “that won’t work for you nails”. I was given the shortest nails I have ever gotten on top of the acrylic being inconsistent with thickness, length, and shape. Not to mention that 3 of my nails were crooked. When I bought up that a few of my nails didn’t have the apex in the correct place and my nails all had different C curves, their solution to fixing this was to cut the nails ever shorter so you wouldn’t notice the poor craftsmanship. I finally told them that this wasn’t working for me and would like to leave only to be charged $40 despite my nails done even being half way done. Luckily I am a nail tech and was able to remove the nails at home and start over but most people don’t have that luxury. Save your money, go somewhere else.

Worst place to get your acrylics done. They are so sloppy, wonky, and they came out noticeably crooked. I love the staff here. They are accommodating and perfectionists! They gave me great advice on colors and did a great work! The atmosphere is ten times better here than stuffy, catty salons. 5 stars is much deserved! When I have a couple of extra pennies from my paycheck I definitely give this place some love.

My first time here and not my last! I made an appointment for 5:30, and Im glad I did because they were busy! The place is very clean, fresh and chic. Someone mentioned it felt like an upscale experience without being overcharged and I completely agree! I got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. I love my nails! I must say I am very OCD about my nails, and I have no complaints! This review wouldnt be enough to do justice. The people are friendly and the owner is awesome. Ive been here a few times, and they do a worse job on my nails every time I go. I went one week ago and the gel polish is pulling off of my acrylic set already, which has never happened before. Their prices are always really confusing and I never understand what theyre charging me for, because theres a sign outside that says a full set is $20 and with color is $30, but they always charge me $40? Whether I do a normal french tip full set or one with color. I think its time to find a new nail place!

I have been coming here for years and wouldnt go anywhere else in Ogden. Its always so clean, everyone is friendly and, of course, the manicures and pedicures are absolutely amazing! I came in tonight with an idea of holographic nails and then my tech suggested doing an ombré with it. I am so in love with the end result! Its amazing customer service like this that keeps me coming back!

I usually don’t leave reviews but I had to on this one.. it was my first time going I had a bad experience. Don’t get me wrong some of the staff are pretty nice but other not so much. They have a list of prices but those prices are incorrect, they have a sign outside $20 nails..well false advertisment. I saw the pedicure was only $20 and the total at the end was $30. Not to mention the guy who rung me up tried to pocket $10. He would not give me the correct change. When I confronted him he tried to argue with me and refused until a lady gave me the correct change back. I don’t care for an apology but they didn’t even apologize for trying to steal my money.. really bad customer care. I would not recommend this place.

Ive been going to the salon for the last 2 and 1/2 years every 6 weeks. I have never had a problem with my nails falling off or lifting. I get a manicure pedicure every time. The staff is very warm and friendly and they feel like friends to me now. I started going when I had a gift certificate given to me after my cancer diagnosis. My doctor was concerned about going to a salon due to increased risk of infection. I express my concern to the staff and they were more than happy to reclean the tubs right in front of me. Their salon is always very well kept and sanitized. Ive never had a problem. Whenever my sister comes in town she always looks an appointment to go to them. She doesnt know of any Salon in her area that does such a nice job. They do a very high quality job for me every time. I feel so pampered everytime I go. I wouldnt dream of going anywhere else 💕

Most painful pedicure. The guy actually bruised the bottom of my feet. I asked him to stop and he just laughed at me and kept going. I went in for a pedicure and he wouldn’t let me pick the brand of polish. He used some Asian brand that ended up being TERRIBLE! He sanded my nails down so so thin and after allowing my nails to dry for about 4 hours it all wiped completely off in my sheets. Turns out he used some gel polish with no top coat to cure it. I didn’t even bother going back to have them fix it. It’s been a month since I got that pedicure and my nails are still so dry and thin and peeling. I am so upset that one visit could do so much damage. Do not waste your time here.

Even I was in a hurry they still managed to satisfy my needs perfectly! About 25-30 min for getting manicure done- VERY comfy. Thanks once again for the wonderful experience!

Worst experience I’ve ever had when getting a pedicure. The guy acted huffy that he even had to do it. He didn’t say so much as hi, how are you, is this ok, what would you like done. He just grabbed the color out of my hands and pointed for me to put my feet in. He was literally done with my whole pedicure in 20 minutes from start to finish. I wanted a deluxe pedicure, which I thought I was getting because everyone around me was getting one, but I guess I had to specifically ask for one from the guy that didn’t even say hello. So I had to pay for someone to basically paint my toes and rub some lotion on my legs. Be sure when you go, that you say you actually want a mask on your feet and the hot towel because with this guy, you will not get it! Or better yet, just don’t go here! I also still have dry skin needing filed off because he didn’t care to even do that. I will have to go somewhere else next week to get what I would have liked done today. When he was done, he didn’t say thank you, bye, nothing! I get that he may not speak good English but I get pedicures at other places monthly and have never been treated so bad or had a worse pedicure. i will not waste my money here again.

I absolutely love this salon! 🌞 The ambience, decor, chairs, tubs, nail stations are all very nice and clean. Its a totally comfortable space. 🎶 The employees are all warm and welcoming, not to mention skilled. Sonny did my pedicure today and I gotta tell you, he is AMAZING. I used to love this Salon and after today I will not be going back.The service was horrible, I got attitude from the worker the entire time. She wouldn’t cut my nails as short as I wanted and said “she was unable to cut them that short”. The promo sign out front says $20 full set but yet I was charged double because of the color option I picked. At no point was I ever told a price increase when choosing that color, instead waiting till she had done them to tell me.When I talked to the owner she said she would not do anything about it.Horrible.

I got a shellac manicure and it turned out great! I have gotten many manicures and a few from spas but I really like how close this place is and it is just as clean as any spa. The lady that did mine was so nice and very fast. I would make sure to schedule an appointment so you get priority. I will most definitely be going back!

Moved from Colorado to Utah and I am very picky about my nails and who does them. I was skeptical to go after easing some of the reviews but I wanted to try for myself since the rating wasn’t horrible. Le did my nails and they came out great! Good service and knows what he’s doing. Will definitely go back to him for my usual nail salon time12/7/18- had to come back and put a follow up review, I liked the way my nails were done but they came off less than a week. I’m not one to do reviews, but this visit warrants one! I have not been to sunflower since the new owners took over. This was the absolute worst visit I have had at any salon. I sat down in the chair, the man asked me what shape I wanted. He started the drill and files my nails down with full speed as if it was his first time doing nails. Then he sent me to another chair. I sat with a women tech who asked what color I wanted. I explained I wanted a white to pink ombré, she looked at my nails and told me they were too short for the color I wanted. I showed her plenty of pictures with shorter nails that had what I wanted. It was still impossible. Then I was asked to pick a different color.... I did. Another tech grabbed the color and explained to me that the color I picked was a color changing color. At first I was fine with the color until the tech brought the bottle to show me what the color would change to. At this point I’m annoyed but still agreeable. I changed my mind on the polish, so the tech who got the polish, in a rude tone said “ that’s why I told you it changes colors!”. I replied, I understand that, I just don’t like the color it changes to so I will pick a different color. Needless to say this place isn’t a great establishment or a relaxing environment. The nail tech broke one nail to get me to do a new full set ( which I already said I wanted just a fill). Each nail came out misshapen and paint all over my fingers. This was horrible!! I had to go home and file all of my nails again and scrape paint off. Never again!!P.s. any good reviews on here are previous to this new owner. Don’t be scammed like I was!

Some of the kindest more thorough people. Never had one issue and always leave so happy.

Very nice and accommodating, however, I received a pedicure and got the gift of warts to go with it. My sister and I went back for a christmas treat and I sat on the couch and was there for support because I was not about to get more warts but this time my sister got gel nails and is still 6 months later taking medication for nail fungus. I would advice never going here because they obviously dont clean and sanitize their equipment.

Maybe sister and I took our 3 year old niece with us to get pedicures and they were awesome!!! They painted her toes and finger nails and were so goood with her! The quality of the deluxe pedis and the cost is awesome! It’s clean and relaxing! Recommended :)

All of their experienced techs have left in the last few months. So have most of their customers. The last time I went there I was given a manicure while still in the pedicure chair. It was totally unnecessary as the salon was not crowded and I was not in a hurry. I wasnt asked. I had a bowl of acetone and a UV nail dryer in my lap. The girl over sanded the tops of my nails.with a drimmel tool. They are as thin as tissue paper and have all broken down to the quick. Ive been a customer for two years, but will not be going back.
