My normal mechanic wasn’t able to fit my son’s car in this week. I really wanted to get his oil changed and car inspected in preparation for two weeks of commuting 4+ hrs/day to complete certification for his new job. I called Marsh Auto Repair and they were able to fit him in. Their customer service rep was helpful and friendly. A few hours after our scheduled appointment, I received a text with a like to a detailed report of the work that was done, the work that needed to be done soon and work that is suggested to be done in the near future. Everything was easy to understand and pictures were included. With just the click of a button I was able to see the estimated cost and approve repairs to be done. When I called with a couple of questions they were answered quickly and in a professional but friendly manner. I couldn’t be more pleased or impressed. Marsh Auto Repair has earned a new, loyal customer who will recommend their services to anyone who asks.

This Mechanic kept my truck for almost a month not to mention I brought my truck in when he told me broke my break caliper didnt tighten my sway bars engine light was still on he made my situation worse I almost got into an accident cause of my truck was leaking break fluid not a problem I had before fuel inlet light came back on they asked me to tow my car in you gotta be kidding me and completely over charged me almost $2,000 with my insurance for parts that were a few hundred dollars this is not a good place to take your car or truck do your homework

I needed to get my brakes checked. Marsh Auto was the only place that I could find that was open on Saturday. And their drop box allowed me to leave my car there, and pick it up after work hours. The way that they were able to accommodate my schedule was a big selling point for me.Aside from that, they were very knowledgable and professional, and reasonably price. 5/5 from me

Marshs saved me so much money on my car. I was scared that I had transmission issues (which I did), but they did research of their own and found out that I qualified for an extended warranty elsewhere. They could have easily let me pay for a whole new transmission without me knowing about a warranty. I have so much respect for these workers after this, and Ill definitely bring my car back in the future!

Want to bring your own parts for a repair to save money? HA! Nope! They jack up labor rates if you buy your own part. Also had the misfortune of them diagnosing a car failing to start, and they told me it was the fuel pump, which was a 700$ quote from them. Upon realizing that was highway robbery, I found out from another shop that offered to do it at 2/3 that price that it was just a switch that flipped that cost nothing. In short: they charge too much for labor and have a large markup on parts, and often fail to diagnose problems or misdiagnose them. Usually people have to go to a dealership to pay this much and get screwed this hard. Go somewhere else.

Dropped my vehicle off Monday. I was told my vehicle would be ready Tuesday or Wednesday. I received no phone call. Had to go into the shop in person Wednesday evening to be told that it would not be ready till Thursday. Again I received no phone call telling me when to get my vehicle. Called the shop Thursday evening and was told it would be ready Friday. Again I received no phone call letting me know that my vehicle was ready. Went to the shop in person on Friday evening and was charged an extra $65 for repair I didn’t ask for. Even if the repair was necessary I would’ve at least liked a phone call letting me know my bill was going to be significantly more than what I was quoted I will not recommend this place to anyone else.

My last-minute heroes during the polar vortex of 2019. My car would not start, my trunk would not latch, and my hood would not latch fully. I got a jump start from a neighbor, tied the trunk down, and made a few quick calls just a few min before 6pm to see if anyone could get me in. Marsh agreed to hang out a little longer until I got there. I arrived a few min after closing and they went above and beyond. They were patient, kind, and fair. They fixed the latches (just heating and lubing them up a bit because they were very frozen) at no charge and replaced my battery all in less than 30 min. A few weeks has passed and everything is still working great!

1 star is one star too many! The technicians are merely parts swappers they will keep putting on new parts until they finally get a result. My truck was idling a little rough. I put new plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor on it just to give it an update. It ran better. However, it still idiled roughly rpms would rev up and then idle down so far that it would almost and sometimes did die. Has to restart many times when at a stop.Drove it to Marsh auto repair.....BIG MISTAKE!I was contacted and told that it needed a complete new distributor and that they could have one overnight for a higher fee. I replied that I didnt really need the part overnighted. They did it anyway. That same day I was contacted and told that my truck needed a new ignition module and a new coil which they got locally. The same day I was contacted again to inform me that they were going to replace the spark plugs and wires and that they were going to replace the thermostat and the antifreeze. I explained that I had just replaced the plugs and wires a week ago. When I was contacted the next day they informed me that the distributor which was overnighted was the wrong one. No charge for the distributor. However, they would not waive the overnight fee. They replaced all of the above stated parts (without my authorization). They said that my truck was ready to go and running like new. I arrived at their shop and discovered that there was two ignition diagnostic charges for $99.00 each. And, a cooling system diagnostic charge for $99.00. They stated that they discovered that the distributor lock nut was just a little loose and they set the timing with the original distributor and replaced the distributor cap, rotor and ignition module. The labor charge for all of the above described replacement parts was $798.28 plus 3 diagnostic charges at $99.00 each. Plus overnight shipping charge for the wrong distributor is $54.67. The parts total was $478.48. Additional miscellaneous labor fee of $168.28.Please keep in mind that this is a 1986 Ford F150 300 inline 6 cylinder engine. Total bill including miscellaneous hardware charges was over $1600.00.I SERIOUSLY have to warn everyone to avoid this establishment!!!!They would not release the keys to me until the bill was paid in full. We settled on an even $1,000 just to get my keys and I had to sign an agreement that I would not contact an attorney and that I would release them of any obligations. My truck ran exactly the same as when I dropped it off. I took it to Jasons auto repair in Edwardsburg. They replaced the positive wire to the coil and charged me $38 and change. My truck is now running just fine.BEWARE THEY ARE CROOKS !!!!!

Being from out of town, was concerned about getting the brakes looked at on our motorhome. Got a recommendation from a local to check with Marsh auto repair. Talked to Josh and he gave me the confidence to have them check out the rig. Discussed all the issues I needed addressed. And he wanted to make sure that they could get the parts before they committed to doing the work. Anyway they checked the RV and determined we didnt need brakes. They performed work on other issues and had us on our way in a day. Thanks to the crew at Marsh,,!
