I was sent an eMail from Ardmore soliciting a review. Well,, here goes.We replaced an older A/C system that used the out of date Freon. After reviewing several companies, we went with Ardmore, had good reviews and close by. The installation went fairly well, made a big issue about replacing the air handler due to the out of date Freon, well I’m paying for it right? After a pretty thorough checkout, system appeared to be working. I was informed that I would have a lifetime warranty if I agreed to a annual checkup for $99, which I did. One condition is that I will have to call to schedule when it was due. For the first and only annual checkup the guy showed up, washed out the compressor and wanted his $99. I asked if he was going to check the pressures and flows and he replied “Don’t need to, it’s only a year old”.I insisted and the system looked good. The system has worked so far but I’m going to keep my $99 every year and wash it out when necessary.

These guys are honest and do their best to help folks like me who dont have a ton of disposable money to replace things that still have life in them. I was working with a larger company for maintenance who always sent a technician that was more of a salesman than a tech. Hed spend more time telling me stories of gloom and doom to scare me into replacing both my AC and furnace because as he said if you replace one, you need to replace the other. After some research feeling this pitch was more a scare tactic, I sought a different company for my maintenance. I knew things were better the moment the guys from Ardmore started showing up. First off the old company would charge me 90 if the tech had to bring up his own ladder. These guys came with their own and said thats what a tech needs to be prepared to do. Yeah, they said my AC will probably go at some point, but they continue to tune it up every year and keep their eye on it (while I try to save some money in the meantime). As for my furnace, they are saying it is in very good shape and will not need to be replaced for several years. Will they be able to replace them as individual components at different times? Yes. Again, they are thinking of my needs besides just their own.

Ardmore relocated our furnace to our crawlspace allowing us to remodel our utility room to a bedroom. They redid everything. We also got a new AC and a tankless hot water heater. The guys were on time, professional, cleaned up every day and great. It was a 6 day job and they were amazing! They were even tolerant of the family dog who followed them everywhere for 6 days. Great company that we have used again and again over the years! Highly recommend!

It all started one night when all was well, in the comfort of my home. when suddenly my comfort was interrupted by a cold chill all through the house. i jumped to my feet ran down the stairs to see what happen, to my dismay i found my AHU passed away. my first thought was Rob at Ardmore Fresh Air, Inc. as always his response was swift and professional. the next day i had a new unit, and as far as Im concerned the A team Mike Egan and Jake (Batman and Robin) they removed and replaced my dead unit so quickly it was like nothing happen.Thank you all so much.

Following the failure of our A/C system, we contacted Ardmore on their website just before midnight and requested an inspection and repair. I received a phone call early the following morning to schedule a technician visit. Following a 9:00 am dental appointment, the Ardmore van was waiting in front of my home before 10:00 am, which was much appreciated given that we were in the middle of a heat wave with temperatures in the mid 90’s with very high humidity, making for extremely uncomfortable conditions inside the house.The technician was very cordial, and was able to identify the source of the failure And suggest remedies in short order.

This company saved us during the frigid cold weather of 2018. My 20 year old furnace died just as we began to experience below zero degree weather. Ardmore was recommended to us by a family member who also experienced great service from them. The company had a technician in our house within an hour on a Friday evening. They quickly assessed the situation and recommended next steps. Since they were not able to get the necessary parts until Monday they provided portable heaters to ensure that our pipes did not freeze over the weekend. When Monday came, they installed the new furnace timely, cleanly and orderly. Mary, I believe the receptionist name is, was very attentive, during and after the process. Had Ardmore out to fix AC unit 5 weeks ago. Went out again during the heat wave. Called to have them service again and never received a return call. I realize everyone is busy at this time but that doesn’t mean you forget customer service.

Had problems with my furnace and my normal HVAC company fixed it...it went out again 3 days later and they told me that it needed to be replaced. Was able to get 3 bids that day and Ardmore was very price competitive, Rob talked me through the whole process and also brought me space heaters to get through the night. The next morning they were out and Mike was great. I didnt want to replace my furnace as it was only 14 years old, but the difference in the house is substantial. They know what they are doing and I had a great experience with the whole staff, I would recommend them to anyone.

Ardmore are the best. We have an old house with a complex boiler and retrofited Spacepack AC. They use masks, take pictures, and keep excellent records. It saves a lot of time and allows for quick fixes when needed. Was grateful they put an emphasis on keeping safe. Offered hand sanitizer after I signed for payment.

For today - 5 STARS. An Ardmore Fresh Air tech came to get our failed central AC restarted. He showed me what had gone worng, so I now know how to fix it myself if it happens again.For the past 10 1/2 years - 4 STARS. Ardmore installed our 2nd floor AC system 10 1/2 years ago, just before we moved in. Since then, they have also fixed minor problems with our hot-water heating.Ardmore occasionally lacks follow-through. For example, 2 or 3 years ago, they measured our kitchen space for new radiators and piping (because the old amateur-installed ones dont work right), but they never gave us an estimate, despite a reminder from me.

Came on time were respectful of my tenants. Did a quick clean good job, in and out.

After soliciting several quotes, I found Ardmore to be not only one of the lowest cost, but to also offer what I consider to be some of the most reputable brands in Ruud/Rheem (if you search for best brands for reliability and cost of ownership, these are almost always at the very top, although everyone has their preferences).They replaced our furnace and air conditioner, and were great to work with. They were very friendly and honest, walked us through all of our options, and made some great recommendations based on our needs (in fact suggested a less complex, lower-cost unit). They were able to install within days, and brought a great crew to work on the AC on the roof and in our unit on the furnace at the same time. They have COVID-19 procedures around using masks and gloves, helping to cordon off the area, and they work in the same teams for all jobs to avoid unnecessary exposure. They really cleaned up the duct and conduit work, worked extra late to get the normal two-day process done in one, and even fixed parts of our humidifier at the same time for no additional cost.Best of all, I know I can trust them to stand by their work, as they had previously serviced the original low-end units that were initially installed 25 years ago, and extended their lives well beyond normal before they finally started to give out. This was truly as painless of a process as one could reasonably expect for such a large investment, so I would recommend them without hesitation.

They always do a great job, and explain any problems or anything that may need work or replacement in the future. We can be sure they will keep our heating systems working well.I recently had a heating problem late in the day, and called to make an appointment, and Bob talked me through a number of system checks, to see if the problem could be resolved that night. He came over early the next day to service my boiler, and had it working like new in no time at all.

Our tenants heater failed two days before a cold front was expected in November. I called around frantically and the nice lady (Mary) who answered the phone for Ardmore managed to move around a few obligations and got someone to come out the same day to give me a quote for a new furnace. I got a few quotes that day, but they were the only that does a heat load calculations instead of just using rule of thumb calculations to determine the size of furnace needed. Great idea because who wants to potentially install the wrong sized furnace and than deal with that headache too. Marys son Bob came out to the condo to give me a quote, took measurements of my condo and windows for the heat load calculation. He was especially understanding when another company happen to come out to give a quote at the same exact time. They are a certified Ruud Pro Partner (only install this brand) and are NATE certified which gave me extra comfort. The install happened quickly after the quote and the installers were courteous, careful and patient with all my questions. Bob came halfway through the install to check things out and help with the install. They even upgraded my 1 inch filter to a 5 inch filter (only have to change these once a year) because Mary was concerned about my allergies. They left only after all my questions were answered and the system was up and running to my satisfaction. If you are in the market for a RUUD and want to make sure you have the correctly sized unit, I highly recommend going with this company.

After hearing about the quality of service that Ardmore provides from multiple friends and family members, they were the first company I thought to call when my furnace went out on a 0-degree night.The owners wife returned my call within 15 minutes at around 10:30pm. Bob, the owner, came on the line and spent the next hour helping me to find a potential fix to get the furnace back up at least for the night. When I had trouble finding a component that he was describing, we turned on video chat and he inspected my furnace remotely!We (really, he) found a simple fix that got the furnace back up and running for the rest of the night. Total charge: $0.I scheduled a service call to have him come out the next day and he discovered the root cause that even the furnace itself wasnt detecting via the LED error code system.I was fully expecting to pay for both the time he spent with me remotely and the service call - and I wouldve been more than happy to pay it - but he only charged me for the service call. And the charge for the service call was far under what I was expecting.There are not enough stars on this site to rate Ardmore adequately. Im so grateful to Bob for his help and his compassion at a time when another company would have licked their chops at the opportunity to price gouge.They have a customer and advocate for life.Thank you, Bob!

Ardmore is great. Ive used them multiple times and theyve never disappointed me.

Ive used Ardmore for over 25-years. Theyve replaced our A/c unit; water heater and furnace. I was going to have them install a furnace with an efficiency rating lower than what they recommended. They explained there were rebates offered by the utilities, which when deducted, the difference between the high-efficiency model and the lower, it was minimal. And, besides that, the lower gas bill shave already paid for that difference. Ive recommended them to my daughters, whove had them replace their furnace/boiler and an A/C unit. Their workmanship is as good as you will find. They service what they sell and do their best to get to us ASAP. Most importantly, they will not try to sell you something you do not need. I asked about water heaters. Bob thoroughly explained the differences and when I asked his recommendation, he gave it. As I said, Ive recommended Ardmore: Bob, Mary and the boys, to my kids. Thats about as a good a recommendation I have.Since I last posted the above, two more of my kids have bought their own places. In each instance, we gave them Ardmores contact info. Why? We know the job will get done and done correctly the first time.

We called Ardmore a few months back, at the recommendation of a friend. We were looking for a solution to heating and cooling the upstairs portion of our (new to us, but not so new!) bungalow. Bob came out, offered us two reasonable solutions, and we are thrilled with the mini-splits we chose. We got a chance to try them in cooling mode when it heated up a bit this fall, and now with winter settling in, were able to heat our upstairs comfortably and affordably. They have kept my boiler running during the polar vortex and my air conditioning during the high heat of summer. And, theyre nice, on time and have great back room staff as well.
