I expected a more high-end, luxury salon, but the environment was a lot more relaxed than the pictures online suggest. That being said, I absolutely love the acrylic set I got from Ms. Jackie!! I would definitely recommend her!

My girlfriend and I came in for gel manicures and were not impressed at all. When we arrived, they seemed annoyed to have to deal with us. Aside from the young lady that did my nails, everyone was pretty unfriendly. The girl that did my friend’s nails used a dremel tool to remove her old gel polish nicking her skin several times - you can see the cuts in the pics. She did not shape or file her nails at all - so odd. We both received less than mediocre polishes, mine has bumps in several nails and a few are not completely covered. We both agreed neither were close to a $60 manicure. This would be a 1 star rating if the lady who did my nails was as unfriendly as the other ladies.

My hair turned out perfect on my wedding day thanks to Krissy. She went above and beyond to make sure my day was perfect. On top of that, the salon was cozy and beautiful! Absolutely recommend!!!

We came in from Chicago for a weekend getaway. We were waiting to get into our hotel room & stopped in to the salon the girls were able to get us in right away for pedicures and manicures. We were so relaxed, we drank mimosas and enjoyed our services. We were so happy with everything and even came back to schedule more services! Thank you for making our day so nice and relaxed it was exactly what we were looking for. We will be back soon!

Stopped in for a pedi and Mrs. Jackie got me in right away. She is an incredibly meticulous nail professional and gives the best massage. She offered me a mimosa, helped me pick out a color, and even added some sparkle to my toes. Also she was so personable and it was fun talking to her. Cant thank her enough for all the pampering.

Booked last minute blowouts as something to do in the afternoon on our last day in town because of all of the rain. My friend and I loved the staff. Our blowouts came out really good, as well! It was a great experience! Love from NYC!

So disappointed. I went in to have them just remove my gel polish. they didnt have anybody to do it and were so confused. Then they told me someone can do it but usually doesnt do nails. so I let them, it took an hour to remove gel (usually takes me 20 minutes max) and thats without my nails being filed, buffed or anything. im still scraping the gel off myself what she didnt take off, then they tell me its usually $25... for a gel removal. I usually go to the gultch nail bar and they are a HIGH end nail salon and the only charge $5 and more if they buff my nails and file them. So then she said she can charge me 15 instead. RIDICULOUS. my nails are completely damaged from the way they took off the gel and it was overpriced. will never go back.

I am in there usually every 3 weeks getting at least 2 services, but before my trips I usually get more. Today as I was preparing for the most special occasion trip MY Birth day trip. It is beautiful inside, and the downtown location is incredibly convenient.I got a blowout with Blair, and he styled my hair quickly and beautifully for the event I had that evening. I received a gift certificate to StyleBar and decided to use it for hair services. I went in yesterday for a balayage and a cut. The stylist that did my hair was very kind and pleasant to sit with. Unfortunately, the turnout wasnt what I expected. I know she tried to do a good job but something just did not go right. My hair ended up a stark contrast between the roots that still showed though to where the new color started. Why am I giving this salon 4 stars? Honestly, I might even give them 5 stars. And, its because they were amazing with my discomfort of how my hair turned out. I called this morning and spoke to the stylist that did my hair yesterday. She was very accommodating and apologized. Everyone I spoke with was so kind and wanted to make sure I felt good about my hair. I spoke to the manager, Laken, as well. She got me in right away to try and adjust the color to what was more comfortable for me. A different stylist worked with me this time. Laken was sure to check in periodically to be sure all was well.I was so afraid to call about my concerns; Ive never done that before. Everyone made me feel like I was important and was so very kind and understanding, even the original stylist that I saw. My hair turned out very nice and much more even. I would give StyleBar 7 Stars if I could for service. Thank you to all the ladies there that made me feel like a person and did not fault me for calling about dislikes and discomfort with my original turnout.

I set an appointment via phone for two blow outs when I visited for my 30th birthday. Being from out of town, this appointment was especially important to me for my birthday trip. As soon as we walk in, they overlooked my appointment that was set and had no one to do a blow out and had no real solution to help with our needs. No offers to rebook, no help on where else we could go. The customer service was truly terrible.

Visiting Nashville for the day and this place was able to work me in for a last minute massage. Receptionist was slightly unprofessional on the phone, answering with just an uncheerful Hello as if it were her personal cell and not friendly at all. However, the massage by Wes was one of the best Ive had. Highly recommend. Worth every penny. The complementary champagne while waiting was delicious as well.

The concierge at my hotel recommended Style Bar for me for a shampoo and blow out. I called them and booked an appointment for the next day at 5 pm that was confirmed by email. 90 minutes before my appointment, they called and cancelled with no options. I was attending a conference and was booked all day and had opened up an hour to get my hair done for an important event that evening. Needless to say, at that late date, I wasnt able to book anything else and it pretty much ruined my evening since I had to go with dirty hair. This is totally unacceptable for a business to do this and cancel without offering another option. I made sure the manager at my hotel knew about it when I returned to the hotel. He tried to help me find another option but everything was booked. I recommended highly that they take this business off their recommendation list and he assured me that they would so that no other visitor to Nashville would experience this unprofessional service.

I went in for a bangs cut they did not know what they were doing. The woman who cut my bangs had to get someone else to do it for her when it wasn’t going well. The other person had some skills but minimal. It’s a simple thing getting a bang cut now I have lopsided bangs, they started cutting into the rest of my hair and messing up the cut.They made my bangs look worse then if I did them I done them. I told them to add some texture because they had just cut them straight across and it looked like a child had done it.They made one side curved and one side a sharp, I had to put a hand up at my nose to separate my face for them to see it. They added so much texture that now my bangs are feathered and so short in places the the hair is just sticking up and out.When I walked it they told me $10-12 for a bang cut then they tried to charge me $25.I wish I never went there. I’ll have wait a month to get them fix. I left with them lopsided because I bought it was better than having them cut anymore. I was just sitting there praying they could get them decent enough for me to walk out and life with it for a month before I have to pay again to get them fix.I think they wanted to have a salon that has every but no one knows how to cut hair.

Pretty, accommodating and very responsive but definitely over priced.

I stopped in to see if they had availability to soak off my gel nails without an appointment. The receptionist was so incredibly rude to me - she snapped at me that they dont do dip there. When I explained that I just needed a soak off she again said we dont do that here and we dont have any availability and gave me a dirt look. It was like I had three heads or something... wont ever be going back to this place.

I spent a week speaking with the person who answers the phone to book a spa day with my daughter for her birthday. Each day I needed to speak with Julian to book who was not in, will call back, they didnt, I call back, Julian was not in, she will be the person who gives massages, they talked to her & she will call me back, never did. Today was the appointment she was to confirm 5 days b4. Called back, shes in the parking lot, call back in 5 mins, OMG! I try to call back not getting an answer several attempts, another person answers with we dont have a Julian. Hung up. Call back, my guy Ive talked to daily answers, acting like hes not him! Bottom line, if they cant book it dont bother to call back. I booked somewhere else this afternoon on the 1st call, 1st person I spoke with, taking all our info, quoting prices w total, answering questions AND set the appointment! One call, one person. This Spa Bar is surely not a real place of business unless the business of BS. My Rating: minus 7 stars

I could not say enough positive things and the services were a great price and value. Style salon and spa ensured all 9 members of the bachelorette party were taken care of and having a great time. Lytle is the greatest. He took his time cutting/styling my hair. He offered suggestions but let me decide what I ultimately wanted. 4 weeks out the cut is awesome!!! The spa is also beautiful, the staff have been so incredibly friendly and helpful, best new addition to this area in downtown Nashville!!!!

They didnt just get me in and out. They took their time on my cut and color to make sure it was just right. Extremely relaxing environment.

This was the WORST pedicure experience of my life. I booked two mani/pedi appointments for myself and a friend a week in advance. When we arrived, there was only 1 person to do our nails. It took nearly two hours for the pedicures alone, and we ended up having to cancel the manicures because we ran out of time.Not only that, but the pedicure itself was horrible! I left with nail polish all over my toes. The salon did not have any flip flops to wear out (luckily I had brought a pair from home but my friend did not), so she had to put her regular shoes back on and it ruined her pedicure! To add insult to injury, the pedi was $50 for a regular pedicure!!!Outrageous. I will never return.

I received a package to this spa as part of a birthday gift. It was a disaster in the beginning, but a wonderful hour long facial with Khabra made a lot of that tension go away. The salon scheduled appointments with me that could not be fulfilled. I made appointments with different days, and each time, they were rescheduled. I did attempt to reschedule my last two appointments, because I could not get to them due to work other obligations. Each time Ive contacted the salon about rescheduling, the person that answers, never seems to get the message to the scheduler or I get the famous well have someone call you back. I loved my facial that I received from Khabra, and will return for a facial. Unfortunately, I did not get the pleasure of experiencing the pedicure or massage that was due to me Feb 10th, and even now. I had the one visit, and several phone conversations; the administration is horrid, but Khabra saved the day.. I am sure I will only return to the salon for her services.

Did a terrible job waxing my eye brows. Missed all the hairs. The front desk is friendly but other than that my waxing was a disappointment
