This place was great! I evacuated from Hurricane Ida and stopped in for a pedicure and full set to take a break from everything going on. From start to finish the service was amazing. They even offer complimentary drinks. Nina did a beautiful job and was very patient and nice. If I’m ever in Nashville again, I’ll be back.
LOVE Comfy Nails! My go-to choice for mani-pedis. My past fav place does not take appointments. After walking in to several hours wait, I needed to switch to another local salon in order to stay on schedule. NOTE: Im very picky and I dont get my cuticles cut (push back only on hands and feet) and never allow my feet to be scrapped or shaved. I have never had issues with pain or trimming too close and I mention I am a baby when it comes to pain and my feet. My nail tech Wei knows me well by now! My polish (standard, not gel) lasts for about a week on my hands and several weeks on my feet. I always feel welcome and ask for a diet Coke when I sit down. I do the most deluxe pedi with stone massage and paraffin dip and then a standard manicure. They have a great selection of polish (both standard and gel) and I bring my own nail hardening product for my hands. I am a basic one color for ten natural nails gal, so cant speak to dips, acrylics, or nail art. Highly recommend for timeliness, attention to detail, professionalism, friendliness, clean shop. They do require masks in the salon currently, which I appreciate.
Unfortunately the techs cut very close into your cuticles, so bad that I was constantly bleeding during the pedicure. Not only did my tech put on the liquid to make me stop bleeding multiple times, but then she rubbed a lime all over each of my toes. Which was torture. Then, this popped up because she rubbed the lime on my cuts (pictured below) I suggest going somewhere else - I will never get another service done here
Wonderful experience. Holly was my technician and she was great! She knows how to pamper feet. Highly recommend. The shop staff were great too.
I stumbled upon their establishment two hours before they were scheduled to close. I called expecting an appointment for the next day, and to my surprise they had an opening for the same day! My 10 year old daughter got her toes polished, and Tony worked an extreme miracle on my feet (first Pedicure in 2 years, thanks Covid). I had an ingrown toenail, he was gentle and even told me how to prevent them. I will certainly be back!!!!
I always make an appointment and get a text confirmation. They have a loyalty program that rewards frequent visits. Clean and comfortable.
Love Holly she is my fav and Vicky is another amazing nail tech there as well.
I paid for a pedicure and we did not get any of the dead skin or callus off my feet. After I am sitting here looking at peeling skin on my feet which should have been removed. Very dissatisfied
This was my first time visiting. I was set up with a wonderful nail artist named Wynn. She was very sweet and professional. I feel glamorous now! Thank you so much! I will definitely be back!
Hong Le does an amazing job on my nails all the time!! I get dip done and they always look clean and beautiful! Book with her 💅🏽
Comfy Nail Zone accommodated me within 30 minutes of closing time. The salon was very nice with a fun contemporary vibe. It was fun to sit at the bar to get my nails done! Wynn did a wonderful job on my dip nails! 💙
Ive been going to Comfy Nails for a little over a year and I have avoided writing this review, but unfortunately, my experience today solidified my decision to share my opinion of Comfy Nails.Positives: This is a newer nail salon in the area, the staff is friendly and its relatively clean. It does get busy at times, but as long as you make an appointment, youll be seated pretty promptly. Its extremely convenient to my home and parking is also easy.Areas to improve: For the past several times I have come to the salon - probably 10 times over the last 7-8 months - I have received the same nail technician every single time (I am unsure if this is coincidence or if there is something within their system that keeps you with the same person.) While she was always very friendly to me, the quality of the pedicure/manicures were never up to par. She often used her own nails instead of the tools to outline the polish and the paint was never coated evenly.A few weeks ago and months of not saying anything (my own fault for not expressing sooner), I finally expressed my feedback to management and was hopeful they would implement some training for the tech to help her improve. Instead, they responded with Oh, were sorry, I will make a note in the system, so you will no longer be with her. Dont feel bad, you are not the first to say this. I do believe the quality I accepted from Comfy Nails is not what I want out of a nail salon experience, but I am more upset the staff would not work to help her improve. Even after this comment, I tried the salon again today. When sitting down for my pedicure, the same nail tech arrived. Instead of receiving the pedicure, I felt extremely embarrassed to have to express my concerns to the manager again and chose to leave all together.I had hoped to discretely and politely provide feedback to Comfy Nails, but this was not able to be the case. I am hopeful this review helps the next customer receive a better experience or helps the staff members receive the training and feedback they deserve. I did not have intentions to embarrass the nail tech, but have ultimately felt like I was put in a position to walk out when my feedback was not heard.
Mr.Tony did and Amazing Job on my nails today. I would recommend Comfy Nails Zone to all my family and friends ❤
Very friendly. Ive been here twice. Theres always someone to greet you when you come in and keep you updated if theres a wait. Sometimes you feel forgotten in nail salons (well I do anyway) but not here. The salon is modern and feels homey inside. I have made an appt the couple of times Ive been and they have started right on time each time. Gel polish my first visit lasted over 2 wks, I have dip now... we will see how long it lasts. So far, I would recommend.
This is super nice place I love my nail check out Mrs. Betty she can give you a nice super nice pedicure.
Very very very RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL.
Beautiful setting. Amazing pedicure. Excellent nails. Benjamin was so professional. I left feeling like a KINGS KID!
Nails were spotty and uneven. Costumer service was bad, rude.
Vikki never disappoints & the salon is so nice & comfortable 10/10 recommend & to everyone in the reviews complaining about price... GET YOUR MONEY UP 😂🗣 if you cannot afford having your nails done that is on you, not the salon. the prices are 100% reasonable!
Horrible customer service the mgr Vicky accused me of no knowing what service I was getting and two nail techs lied on me.I will never ever go back they dont want our money 😒
The worst service Ive ever received, from a supposed high class nail salon. And dont dare ask for quality service like clean cuticles with you full set thats already pricey they will charge you $15,As a first time customer it was definitely my last time. I even expressed my unhappiness and was embarrassed by the female worker with loud talk threw out the entire salon.
I will not ever go back here again. First the gentleman that did my nails just got done smoking when I walked in and couldn’t even wash his hands before he started. I had the dip done which I have had several places. First he took off polish and then proceeded to shave my natural nails so thin I hardly have anything left. Next he skimped on the dip. Most places do the clear and then at least 3 coats. He did two. To top it off not only him but all the stylists were using used files. When I left there I knew if I did anything it was going to be a problem because of how thin my nails are. Even the natural shape of my nail is gone. Some of them have a dip in middle of my nail. I barely touch anything and my nail breaks. Ugh. I’m so frustrated. I tried to call but can’t get anyone to answer to get my money back. And to top it off, they were more expensive than the places I have had great nail service. If I could give a zero that definitely would be the rating
Worth every penny, I love coming to them because it’s never a long wait and the service is alway great.
Best nail salon in Nashville!! First of all, a lot of nail salons will have you wait around after telling you 5-10 min wait. They are upfront and honest with you and it is better to make an appointment or call ahead. So they won’t waste your time. Receptionist always greets me by my first name and they have a variety of drinks to chose from. Second of all, they are very clean & have little extras like fruit & flowers in the pedicure that just elevate the whole experience by smelling amazing. I think since they have opened I have gone somewhere else 1 time bc of an occasion emergency and I immediately regretted it. My dip manicure lasts 3-4 weeks and always is top notch!! They just started a loyalty program as well :-)Never going anywhere else!
I chose this business because of the high reviews and I am highly dissatisfied with the service that I have received. The issues of calluses where still present on my feet once the pedicure was completed and when I pointed out the excessive skin I was informed to come back everyday to rid the problem which boldly expressed that I have not received the service that I paid for. Totally a disappointment!
Always the place to go!!!Best eyebrows wax in town... Love it 😀
Lovely decor, professional treatment, Covid-precautions are taken, on-time service and the BEST nail tech is Hong Le, so detail oriented and sweet! Higher prices than most, FYI
Friendly staff, comfy atmosphere.
This place is EXTREMELY expensive and the work doesn’t match the price! After only a week of having my nails done I have developed an infection and had to have the nail removed! So here I am without a nail bed and no explanation! They charged me $170 just to do my nails with unsanitary tools ( I also got a pedicure and my daughter a overlay just a FYI )
I’ll start by saying I’m not really the type to write a review unless I had A really great experience, but I was extremely disappointed in my visit. I saw a lot of really good reviews for this nail salon so I wanted to give it a try. I called the same day to set an appointment due to the fact the last time I tried to walk in they were booked for two days out. They squeeze me in for 5 PM and got me back pretty fast. I got a pedicure, nothing special, no real time spent rubbing my legs or feet. And I was also charged $10 extra to have my gel polish removed from my toes. This is where the fun starts. I had Dip on my nails and instead of soaking them in acetone with gloves on I sat with a bowl of acetone in my lap during my pedicure and was told to use the cotton provided in the bowl to take off the dip. This created a huge mess as the dark red polish I had on my nails was all over my hands, all stained red. I have never had to take off my own dip manually.. the lady who did my nails got visibly frustrated with me when she shaped my first nail and I told her it was a little too thin and to not make the others that then if she didn’t mind. I asked her to please help me get all the red off my Nails and hands - she couldn’t wait to get me out of her chair and I was never mean or rude..Now I am leaving with a fairly poor dip nail job, all over my cuticles, and still have red stained hands. Oh, and I paid $100 for all of that... no thanks...
Vicki does an amazing job and everyone is so friendly. Hannah is very personable and makes sure my daughter and I are comfortable but also talks with us like we are friends. I look forward to my monthly visits there!
Outstanding experience. Place was very clean. Front desk was extremely welcoming. Easy to make an appointment. Lots of options for extended pedicures (the girl next to me was getting one and now I’m jealous I didn’t do that too!). Staff was extremely friendly. The woman doing my toenails did a great job and they turned out great. Nail colors were in an organized book so you weren’t just picking up and putting down a million different bottles only to hate the color you picked. I have finally found a nail salon that checks all the boxes in Nashville. You should 100% go!
Awesome place on the east side of Nashville! Quick efficient and very friendly staff! Have been coming here for the last 6 months and am never disappointed! 💅🏼
My friend and I came here and the man at the front was very rude. We have been here before and he was very rude then as well. We have decided not to be patrons for this reason and will not ever be returning. Steer clear!!!!
This is my GO TO nail shop, after over 10 years at a competitor up the street in Inglewood. Friendly staff :-). CLEAN! Text Appointment Reminders. Comfortable seating. Drinks. A little on the pricey side, but Atmosphere matters and its worth EVERY PENNY! Kue is as cool as they come and my nail tech TONY is AWESOME!!
This place is amazing. It’s super clean and the technicians are seasoned. My nails are always on point. Love em.
This salon is not following proper COVID 19 protocol. They are not sanitizing bewtween clients proerly. When the nail tech was asked to clean the work area she very unconcerned and barely cleaned the space. The nail service was rushed and done unprofessionally. The nail polish started to chip away within 2 days. This salon is more expensive than most salons and is not worth it.
Honestly, East Nashvilles best kept secret. My friend and I were endlessly searching for a highly rated nail salon, that wasnt an all natural experience. Dont get me wrong I would usually be down for that, but my thumb nail was broken and I needed to get a tip put on it. I called ahead of time and they squeezed us in, even though they were pretty busy. The lady at the front desk was a 10. Super friendly and uplifting. I felt so welcomed. Max did my nails and he was FANTASTIC. I rambled on about what I didnt like about my only dipped nail experience (from another Nashville salon) and was convinced I would just do an acrylic set with a gel polish. However, he listened to my needs and gave me the best experience possible. My nails are SNATCHED. I cant stop looking at how beautiful they are. They are shaped perfectly. Im so glad I trusted him. I will DEFINITELY be back. East Nashville can be pretty sketchy, but this place is GLAM and clean. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
I’m very particular about my nails. I like them to be perfect and this is the only place I’ve ever been to that can get the shape perfect and flawless application every time. Fair prices. Everyone is friendly. Try it!
I have had 2 pedicures there. I wanted to get a simple polish change about a week after my last pedicure and they could not find the time to allow for a simple nail color change! I live in East Nashville and its a good location for me but I guess I will find somewhere else to go.
SKY IS THE BEST!! Let me start off by saying I had the same nail tech for 5+ years before moving and you just get used to getting over the top service every time, no questions asked. Sky is extremely meticulous and takes the time to do exactly what I ask each time and it always comes out perfect. 💅
Stopped by to get my nails done with dip powder. Was asked how can I help you. Told them what I wanted and the receptionist said I don’t have availability for that today and unfortunately not till Monday night. I was like okay I guess I’ll get acrylics then, response back was sorry we don’t have any time available for you. Why not just start with that instead of making it sound like you have open time. She was quite rude and sassy. Will never go back. Used to enjoy this nail salon.
Keep in mind, Im not a nail diva. I go once a quarter and I dont follow trends. This place meets all of my needs for consistent, error-free, friendly (but not too talkative) gel manis and pedis. They are very busy so I always make an appointment but they do try hard to accommodate as many walk-ins as possible. The girl at the front desk is great.
This stay was a lot better than before. Much improved. Staff friendly and helpful. Would stay again and will tell other people about this place and my stay.
It was ok, first time in there and I had to go back so they could fix my nails because I guess they wasnt as drye as they thought they was, so I called and they said sure come back and we will fix for you, so I did. I like the atmosphere, while sipping on my Mimosa. I will go back
AWESOME place, the staff is great, they are so accommodating, they have good wine:) a very nice salon
The saving grace of this place was a great eyebrow wax and a beautiful environment. But my regular pedicure and manicure was awful. Having traveled across the country I’ve gone to many places and by far my worse mani pedicure. The technician cut my skin During my pedicure and then brushed it off until I started bleeding and then denied she’d done that. My manicure was polish all over the top of my fingers with her cleaning it up rather than just painting onto the nail itself. The polish still wasn’t dry after 45mins. And I was told next time come in earlier or pick a different color.
My husband and I went to comfy nails for pedis. We had a great time. They are short on staff however their service is still top notch. Well be back.
It was great experience the staff were very friendly and the place is super clean. They even serve cocktails. Will definitely be back!
My toe nails look like a child painted them. My manicure was done in a hurry. The tech got the name of her next client and slopped top coat on my nails... some nails it’s only on half of them and some have bubbles. I’ve never had a mani pedi that looked this bad. Not even close to worth $67.
I was so pleased with the service and the woman who took care of me. My nails look fantastic
Would not recommend or return. Basic manicure polish looked horrible. The gentleman was sick and had a runny nose, keep wiping but didn’t wash his hands or use sanitizer. I couldn’t leave fast enough.
I have stopped in 4 times and only been able to get service once. Offering walk-ins welcome on your door and then always saying you are booked because you are continuously short staffed is bad customer service in the very least.
Always have a great experience here
Call ahead, they are busy. Great service. Quality work. Beautiful place.
Nice, clean, upscale nail salon. The techs were very nice. They serve you a beverage of your choice. I will go back.
A lovely place, busy and well controlled, therefore, overall a relaxing visit. My gel nails are perfect, and I had the super pedicure which was heavenly and I deserved it!!
Love love love this nail salon!! The best in Nashville and the ambience is sooo relaxing!
UPDATE THIS IS A VERY UNPROFESSIONAL NAIL SHOP. I MADE AN APPT. AND WAS ON TIME I STILL WAITED WITH OTHER LADIES THAT GOOGLE THE NEAREST NAIL SHOP AND LEFT. THE YOUNG WHITE GIRL AT THE DESK TOLD ME TO GO ELSE WEAR IF I COULD NOT WAIT NOW I HAD BEEN WAITING WITH A APPT. ALMOST A HOUR AND A HALF. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. AND THEY DO HAVE THE MOOD POLISH. YOU LOST A BIG TIPPERA very nice place I had Ann she was nice and conversation was good. My nails looked good too
Such a fun New place in East Nash! I get the dip and they are great about making sure it isnt too thick!
This rating is based on my experience with the individual tech I had, not the entire place....the woman at the front was really nice, the overall place was clean, I was seen at my actual appointment time no additional waiting, ultimately my nails turned out fine. How I got to 3 stars...its based on the 1 tech I had, Im not sure whats up but she seemed to be an isolated case. Her hands were covered in cotton and polish and all kinds of stuff, she didnt think to wash them before me or get the cotton off so it doesnt get into my wet nails???She was also wildly loose with the drill, pricking me multiple times, she started to just file away without asking what shape I wanted or if I wanted them cut down, I had to remind her when certain nails were uneven or the shape didnt look like the other nails....ultimately at the end my nails turned out fine...and I want to give this place another try but will not see this particular person if shes there....I shouldnt have to monitor every minute of the techs work...
I am so disappointed in the greed of this place! I really wanted this to be my new spot since it is so close to home but this place will never be anything other then a one time bad experience. First thing is it is over priced. I went in for a jel polish only...nothing more. I was told it would be 25 which is a bit much but I said okay. I waited 30 minutes and when seated I found the staff rude the guy Tony was dry and flat out rude. I tried to talk to him and he would ignore me and talk to the lady next to him in a different language. I asked for pink/white tip polish but he just did white tip. There were little bubbles in it on two nails and it was sloppy. When I got to the front to pay they upped the price to 30! That is rediculous when they claim a manicure is 35 and all he did was pant my nails in a few minutes. This place is pure greed and it’s a shame! I guess I will go to a more honest place a few minutes further away. To bad!!!
When we went we felt rushed. My nail didnt look like they had just been done and 2 days later a nail came off!😤
I stopped by this local salon after work on a Friday to have a full set of acrylic nails applied. I was a walk in and spoke with the receptionist. Standing in front of the desk looking at the service card with pricing I state to the receptionist I would like a full set. She stops typing and informs me the cost will be $50, and confirms I am ok with the price. I am placed with a technician and he inquired what length and shape I would like l, then restates it will be $52 dollars. I acknowledge the price thinking we will get started and the technician wants to reaffirm I can pay by stating “you sure”. He begins the service and makes dry small talk never offering me a beverage even though everyone else seated around me has been offered and provided a beverage. After the application but before color it is customary to pay for service so as he motioned for me to pay I went to the receptionist to pay. The line was long so I stood awkward to the side waiting to pay. He feels I’m taking too long (a lot of sighing) and motions me back to his chair and as the line goes down sends me back. After I make my payment he applies the color and sends me to the dryer. After sitting at the dryer he comes by to thank me for my tip and offers me a water. I am disappointed in my treatment in this salon. From the moment I walked in they assumed I could not afford their service and it was extremely awkward to be asked several times. No one else in that salon was treated like me and I saw several come and go as I sat in the very first seat at the door. Very disheartening to attempt to support a locally owned business and be treated so disrespectfully. Additionally one nail completely lifted Saturday afternoon while I attending a wedding.
I was really excited to become a regular here after my first visit since its so close to my house, there is complimentary wine and I received all of the services that come along with what I was paying for. The other few times I have gone Have been okay. I didnt receive any hand lotion or massage like you should be getting whenever you pay for a manicure and my tech was eating trail mix at her station, but at least water/wine was offered.Yesterdays visit was not a good experience for me and it made me really sad that I will probably have to yet again drive across town to get my nails done. Ive been scheduling an appointment with one tech because at the very least I knew she was great at giving me the nail shape I wanted and was pretty quick. I wanted to come get my nails done for a relaxing Saturday evening but I wasnt offered any complimentary beverages. I was talking about whatever TV show was on and she started watching what was going on, but she never stopped buffing my pinky nail and she was going at it hard. I could tell my finger was starting to burn and I looked down and could tell my finger was bleeding. She realized what happened, had to throw the bloody nail buffer away and stuck a piece of paper towel on it and continued what she was doing. I can tolerate pain, so Im not complaining about how it hurts. BUT if I had injured my client, I would go out of my way to make sure she knew I was sorry in hopes to get her business back. When I went to pay, I was asked how everything went and I told the girl the situation, but the tech was lingering around because anticipating what I would say. But I told the truth and they still didnt do anything to make up for my experience. I left with a still bleeding finger and still paid the full amount for the service (which as previous visits I didnt get the full experience). Really wish I could post a next day photo of my pinky finger because its red and swollen. 👍More than likely will not be back.
Alvin was awesome. The place is very elegant as well
Very nice staff. Happy with their work. Sadly they do not have enough staff. Be aware you will wait. I called on A Saturday and they wouldn’t even take walk ins. So I waited til Tuesday, had an appt @ 6. Went back the chairs at 7. Didn’t get done w gel pedi til 815!
I have tried to get a pedicure here twice. The first time, I waited over an hour for service before I had to give up and leave. The second time, I was flat out turned away. The door says “Walk-ins Welcome” but that’s clearly not the case. They need more staff ASAP. There is already a shortage of nail places in this neighborhood and they’re not able to meet the demand.
Beautiful place, clean and comfy! Betty did an amazing pedicure, had dip nails first time by Stephanie and they are awesome!
Great new nail place on Gallatin!! They do such a great job and are very nice and accommodating 😍🤗
The lady that did my nails was extremely rude. Both of nails came off and is damaged.
Great job on my nails. The pedicure massage chair was everything and the complimentary mimosas were the cherry on top.
I will never go to comfy nails again. I got my nails done by George, I believe that was his name, three times and the quality was terrible! I just got my nails done a week ago and they already look like Ive had then done for about 3 weeks. One of my nails, which are my natural nails is already broke and I had an acrylic overlay. I was charged an extra $10 because I didnt want polish on my nails after the acrylic fill in. Im very disappointed!
Clean, friendly, complimentary wine, great mani-pedi with polish that lasts, what more could you want?
Service is great, appointments are available, reasonable prices, and extremely clean...
This was my second time back and the service is great as Always . will be back !
So I went in to get my nails done for the first time (dip with a tip and Stiletto shape) and woah. WOAH. First max did and amazing job making the nails look incredible & I got to have a mimosa while they were painted which was cute. But the real amazing part of this all, is I’ve never EVER had such durable nails from sns or acrylic.ive been shooting a music video and there were so many points where these nails should have broken, and yet they are strong as day 1 even a few weeks later10/10 I’ll be back!
It’s not worth it. Don’t go like plesse don’t. They are so dirty they don’t clean the things properly,
Very friendly and cooperative. 50% more expensive than what I pay in Pennsylvania.
Comfy Nails Zone is amazing also thank you guys for doing my nails
Great service, clean and friendly!
Gorgeous place, friendly staff and I love my nails!
Sunny is great!! Sooo sweet!
Haung is the best!!
Kim is a great tech
Awesome Zen Den!!
Awesome place
