Love the atmosphere of the place. It’s gorgeous in here and setup in a very unique way but both my and my friend got our nails done and we are not pleased. Our nails are both bulky and with us just getting them done the wedges are no sharp at all. They look like they are a week old! Also took two hours for acrylic with gel polish.I can not exaggerate how bulky they are! But the men who did our nails were nice and it’s setup and really nice inside!
I went to get a fill in on my manicure and the acrylic was put on very thick, so the owner came over and started redoing my nails and started doing a complete different style from what I was asking.. She then got annoyed that I told her that’s not what I asked for and got loud at me for asking for my nails to just look decent. I’m usually not too picky since I get my nails done every 3 weeks, but no one wants to pay and walk out with sloppy nails.. usually they finish the manicure with a hand massage, but the owner just put oil on my fingers without rubbing it in, so I had to go wash the oil off just to grab my card to pay..loved this place up until this experience… end result-nails turned out decent so i’ll give a couple of stars for that
This is my first and LAST time visiting The Gulch Nail Bar. Let me give you some perspective. I walked in with a girl friend of mine and the lady at the front desk is scolding an employee loudly and right at the reception desk. When we walk up to her she rudely tells to pick a service and wait over there (the waiting area) We wanted to ask what services this place offers, as a lot of nail salons are doing away with acrylic styles. She had an attitude when we inquired about this. She rushed us to pick a service and then carried on with her conversation. We were a little embarrased and kinda blown away that she treated us this way. The wait was not long, I was serviced by Richard. However, Richard did not do what I asked from the shape to the color nor did he even do the simple flower design I asked for. He told me he would give me stickers and never did that. I wanted a French manicure on coffin shaped nails. Instead of the traditional white I wanted orange with flowers on the middle and index fingers. He told me that was not cute and that he could only do white. I even decided to do the same shape, different color and no design. He told me he would start with white and finish with the color I wanted. He never did this, he painted my nails white and told me no stickers and no color I was shocked. He told me my nails were cute the way he did them. He even asked me if Id be back and I replied NO. The manager lady who was scolding someone continued to come back and forth and stand next to me talking to the man loudly in my ear in their native language. No boundaries and no concern for covid. My experience was so bad yall. Like I cant even believe I paid them. I truly was amazed at the lack of professionalism they had. They did not do this to any other clients. You can clearly see the difference African Americans are treated in this area. I expected better service for a $90 full set with nothing included. Please think about your money before you spend it here. Also, if you dont value professionalism or maybe care enough about biases then this will be the place for you!
I have been going to this establishment for over a year now and my last few visits to this place have been worse and worse, first of all if you want to pay almost $200 plus for a basic nail set, pedicure & gel polish then this is the place to go, if you want to be around employees that are rude and not politely greet you when you enter the door then this is the place to go as well. The prices are different every time I go & the professionalism is very poor. This place has one star because it’s a cute place & play good music but definitely other businesses in Nashville worth trying before this one.
I have been coming here since they opened. My experience has been pretty consistent. They greet you nicely, the staff is pleasant and efficient. Their polish choices are totally satisfactory. The thing I love is that you don’t need an appointment. My schedule is unpredictable and I love being able to just walk in. And I’ve rarely waited more than 10 minutes. It’s also clean and comfortable. The downside is that you don’t really develop a relationship with the service provider like you might in a more traditional spa. But the prices are very reasonable so that is okay with me! I recommend this place.
We are staying at the Fairfield right by the Nail Bar & desperately needed a gel mani & pedi. After reading some of the reviews my husband and I were skeptical, but we are so glad we went! Vinny’s mani & pedi were amazing & his attention to detail was MUCH appreciated! The establishment was clean & beautiful…and the wine was delicious! We would definitely go back if in town again!
I loved this nail salon! Got a pedicure and the complimentary drink and massage chair was amazing! Also my toes look great so Im happy :)
Nail Bar Gulch is by far the best nail salon in Nashville- I come here monthly for a gel manicure and pedicure and the staff are so professional and do such a fantastic job. After living in Nashville for two years, I have yet to find another nail salon that produces such great nails and provides you with an experience that is both relaxing and personable! Could not recommend this place more for all people living in Nashville or visiting (right in the heart of the Gulch!). They will not disappoint!!
Wife loved getting her nails done here! She will definitely be back again! They did an amazing job!!!
Kat is great. Receptionist so kind also. They do an awesome job.
I have been living in Nashville for 9mon know and have been going to this salon for my entire time here. Every month I spent $200 + at their establishment and every month the employers have been rude, late to my appointments and very short to me verbally. I got to the same man every time and always tip 25%. I realize this is not a place that is welcoming to African American women, they go out of their way to make women of other races feel comfortable, get them water, wine ask how their day was and here it is never discuss prices. Every time I come to the salon before Im served Im told the price of everything as if I wasnt there 3 weeks ago.PLZ Black women they dont want our business go some where else.
This establishment is only surviving because of its location. They only cater to visiting tourists and white women. I’m an African American female and I recently moved in to an apartment that is less than 1 mile away from this salon. I thought it would be convenient to have a decent nail salon to go to that was in walking distance from my apartment . My first visit I requested a gel pedicure and dip manicure…Without an appointment, and on a Sunday, to my surprise I didn’t have to wait too long to get my pedicure. However, the 1st,2nd, and 3rd color of polish I requested was unavailable. Then, I the waited over 20 minutes after my pedicure to receive a manicure, whilst not one employee spoke to me and evert other patron was being catered to. They even opened a bottle of whiskey for two women, and they didn’t even drink it. No one asked if i was ok or if i wanted anything to drink. I ultimately decided to leave and come back during a weekday to get my manicure. During my appointment I felt completely ignored and rushed. Vinny, the guy who did my nails was very short with me, unkind, and rushed through my manicure. Over half of the time I was sitting, he was speaking to, joking with and laughing with a fellow employee. I felt very uncomfortable. When he told me to go wash my hands, I left my purse and umbrella at my seat, and when I finished I went back to retrieve my belongings whilst watching conveniently had the phone and purse of another customer in his hands at the front desk. I felt completely ignored, judged, and overlooked by the employees of this place. And my dip manicure is chunky AF… I’m never coming back here.
She did a great job shaping my nail but when I asked for help on the color that I wanted I didnt get a great color. Its not at all the look I was going for. She did ask to change it but I was not going to wait another half hour to retake the nail polish off and redo the whole thing. I would give it a solid 2.5. Price was high for not even getting close to what I asked. Below picture was what I asked for. Top picture is what I got.
I Totally enjoy being serviced at the Nail Bar!! They are so professional & they all do a fantastic job whatever service I have chosen. I have been serviced for more than a year & Im very pleased with them!
The BEST nail salon in Nashville!! I recommend this place to all my friends! My nails looks absolutely beautiful every time! If you are in Nashville this is the place to go!
My nails look great, but $60 for an acrylic fill is insane
Way over priced, Unfriendly, They rush you right through and do a sloppy job. My son could have done a cleaner job on my nails. Never go here.
This was the most unpleasant experience. I got the remedy gel pedicure, paid $75 for a pedi only just to have half of what was listed on the description done, my cuticles were hardly even touched, they did not preform the callus removal, gel polish poorly applied and service was rushed. So, incomplete services, overpriced mediocre quality, and the worst part was I was asked to pay in advance and rushed to sign before they even started my service. Tipped before my experience only to not enjoy one bit of my time there. DONT GO.
I recently moved to Nashville from Chicago and wanted to find a salon close by my place that does acrylics. Im so glad I found this place. Its very clean and as a walk-in, they were able to take me right away. The service was great and my nails have never looked so perfect. I showed him a photo and my nails now look identical. He took his time and perfected each nail before moving on to the next one. Its been almost a week and they still look wonderful! i will definitely be back and i highly recommend.
Awesome place! Have been coming for the 2 years! Kat, Jillian and Tien are my favorites! Definitely would recommend for my friends!
I live in the Gulch, and this is my go-to nail salon. Ive never had a bad mani or pedi here. Everyone is friendly and exceptionally skilled at nail care. The salon is very clean and bright. All the tools are sterilized (of course!), plus they line the pedi bowls with a plastic liner -- so I never fear picking up a fungus. I highly recommend the Gulch Nail Bar.
4.5 - Were able to walk in and get four gel manicures and pedicures last minute, thought the service was great and all our nails look very good. Only docked 1/2 a star because the atmosphere was a bit busy, did not have the whole relaxing spa ambience. Very clean and they serve wine too! Gel manicure and regular pedicure was $80. Would definitely go back.
Very clean and efficient... enjoyed the whole experience.. offer complimentary wine
I have been coming here for years and they always do an amazing job!
I accidentally spilled a polish, all over my clothes & their floor. One of the manicurist got mad and THREW a towel at me. VERY RUDE. They also didn’t greet us when we walked in or said two words the entire time we were there. I will never come back.
The services here were absolutely amazing very relaxing. They really take pride in what they do.Definitely recommend
They charged $65 for a basic manicure and pedicure with no polish.. will never go back. The woman who did my nails was great though!
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.I came here and got my nails done and they chipped (acrylic) literally the next day. I came in to get them fixed and the lady was extremely rude and even asked if I was sure this was where I got them done. I regret going here and tipping extremely well. She refused to fix the 2 nails without charging me $20?? Worst customer service I’ve ever received. Even though this nail salon is walking distance for me, I will not ever step foot in there again. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else in Nashville where you will be treated with decency.
Excellent service, cleanliness, and professional staff! I’ve been going here for over 2 years regularly
Awesome spot. Friendly staff. Clean and beautifully designed space. Moon was awesome! She did an awesome job with my nails and accommodating what I wanted. Thanks guys!
Service and prices are inconsistent each time I have visited this salon. I’ve had subpar experiences each time I’ve visited before, however, I continued to go because it’s right next to my apartment. After a horrible experience tonight I will not be back.
One of the best nail experiences!! 5 stars
I paid almost $100 for a full set w/ manicure. My nails were done soooo poorly. None of my nails matched the shape I asked for and were all different shapes. My manicure was just BAD. She tried to do my manicure after she had already put on a full set WITH ACRYLIC. She nicked me several times causing me to bleed. My cuticles were still very thick and visible so just threw nail polish on top of my cuticles and called it a day. My nails looked terrible. I went to another salon to have my nails fixed.
I don’t think I’ve ever been so disappointed with service and how I was treated at a nail salon. Truly I felt discriminated against and ripped off . When I asked for prices they continually changed . The gentleman that helped me was really kind and realized I was clearly disappointed with the service . Halfway through my nail removal I decide that I would not give my money to a company who Is so rude and treats their customers poorly . In the end my nail removal looked like a horror. Please do something about this !
I’ve had a different experience every time I’ve gone here. I wish they were more consistent with their work, service and attitude.
This place is clean and my pedicure came out great!😃 The atmosphere is busy and the friendliness is minimal. I docked one star because they told me a regular pedicure is $35 (which is already a lot more than the average pedicure) and then charged me $37 - there was a $2 surcharge for shortening the nails, which is a regular service usually included in all other salons, and none of this information was communicated to me. It was a great place to go to for a walk-in at the end of a pandemic, but wont be my regular spot.
As described by most people leaving reviews about price change they tried to charge me $5 more per girl. I looked online and called to ask how much it would be to paint my little girls nails and they quoted me $10, but when I went to pay she tried to charge me $15 per girl. I told her I just called and asked and she tried to tell me that price is usually for babies. I made her honor the price I was told. FYI they are also charging $2 per person for covid.
I have been going to The Gulch Nail Bar since its first opened and they consistently do a great job! They always remember me when I come in and have great conversation. I finally got to come back in since COVID-19 happened and theyre doing an awesome job with the social distancing. Highly recommend!
A painful waste of time.Read the mixed reviews but decide to give the Gulch Nail Bar a go.It comes down to who you get. Which is a gamble. Many people in the salon got lovely nails and service. My experience; pedicure was okay.Manicure was horrible, made three of my nail-beds bleed. Then sprayed them alcohol without warning, the pain unbelievable and unexpected.Nails where painted so thick with polish that despite waiting for a long time under the UV light they where unable to dry effectively. Sadly, my nail technician was indifferent to my pain or experience.Summery, you are going to pay very high price and it’s a gamble on weather it will be worth it. Perhaps consider going somewhere else.
Great nail salon! Moon is the best and very satisfied with how long their manicures and pedicures last.
I’ve tried this salon twice. VERY pricy and honestly not that well done. Hard to get it in a photo but all of my nails gel topcoat is not even and even has holed through it...not gonna last 2 weeks like they advertise. Also I got a pedicure which should last for an hour, mine was done in 20mins. I get my nails done to feel pampered and relaxed and left feeling rushed and out $80 for a gel mani and regular pedi. Not impressed.
I have never before experienced such heinous treatment by an establishment. The manager is incredibly rude and unprofessional. My two daughters were getting polish changes as part of a bridal party. As soon as we arrived, she greeted us with annoyance and acted completely frazzled. While my girls were finishing with their treatments, she interrupted me, while I was on the phone, asking me to go pay immediately. When she said the bill for two hand polish changes was $30, I calmly and respectfully pointed out that the price on their menu was lower, and the total should have been $20. I asked her to honor the lower price posted on their website menu once. She proceeded to lose her temper for no reason, and told me that “if I didn’t like it, too bad”. I then proceeded to pay what she asked with no further comment. She then had the nerve to walk to where the rest of the bridal party was, and announce that I wasn’t happy with the price of the services, and that I had complained, embarrassing me in front of everyone. She made a scene, throwing a tantrum because their prices are listed incorrectly. I would avoid this place like the plague. This salon obviously does not value their customers.
My 2 sisters and I had a great experience here. They were able to fit us in last minute because they have a large staff and lots of stations. Everyone was friendly and talented and the environment was clean, fun, and well-decorated. They even offer wine!! I honestly have no idea what some of the very negative reviewers were talking about.I would definitely recommend!!
The overall experience was nice and different from traditional nail salons. The check-in process was super efficient and I was taken on time for my appointment. However, I do not believe that the services are worth the price. I was charged THIRTY dollars for a basic manicure (although the website advertised otherwise, apparently there was a price change). The manicure was well-done, although not $30 worth. Within two days of getting my manicure, a couple of nails starting chipping. Exactly one week after my manicure and I have larger chips in almost every nail. Nice atmosphere & experience - not worth the price.
Love my nails and the workers
$47 without tip for a subpar gel mani that was rushed? No thank you! I was in and out in 15 mins which is not a good thing! I think I was charged extra for shortening my nails? Which didn’t even require clipping, just a file. Will likely never go back here! If you’re reading reviews and looking for a nail place go to the Lacquer Lounge!
This is my second time coming here and my first experience was better than this one and it was mediocre. I think they are funny acting towards black people and Im really light skinned so its funny. The woman who did my nails had me sitting there for 20 minutes before she even started on me. She didnt indulge in small talk or cared what pain she inflicted on me. My review isnt going to matter bc white people make up their revenue, one person isnt going to change a thing. Ill never go here again.
Should change their nail bar nail to unprofessional nails we have a restaurant where your service is just straight up rude and they do things you wouldn’t expect in customer service. It’s a very packed out place because it is expected to get rude service! I think you should definitely rebrand this place because this is the top notch most rudest nail salon you will ever go to! If I paid for attitude then I would give this a 5 star review! I tell you what I’ve seen 3 year old with better manners than this:) it’s a hit and miss with this place, you might see a nail technician or even the owner have a fit you never know! So bring your popcorn for the your very own live drama series
I wanted to leave a review about my nail tech Daisy. She was extremely professional and personable. She took extra time to detail my nails to a shape that was natural (I was doing dip- which can sometimes be bulky.) She was so easy to talk to and so genuinely kind. If you go ask for Daisy and tip her well because she is worth it!
Just got done with 5 weeks of military training and I decided to stop in to treat myself. I am SO glad I did! My pedicure was fantastic and my worn, tired feet feel a lot better! I will definitely be back next time I visit Nashville! 😁
Second nail salon I tried to go to in Nashville, first to accommodate. They were awesome! Wonderful pedicure, very attentive and relaxing! SNS manicure looks amazing. Great conversation and attention to detail.
I had the most amazing experience. I completely forgot to even ask the name of my nail tech. For my first time, there I was left speechless by there professionalism and accuracy on exactly what i wanted.
Im only giving this a two because they do nails decently. But I will not come back here because the PRICES CONSISTENTLY CHANGE. I was charged $90 for a basic gel polish (no tips, just my regular nail) and a basic pedicure (not gel polish, regular polish). They also charged me $10 for removing polish on my feet. I was fine with this, because they told me ahead of time Id be charged for that. BUT the prices on their website and in the store are different than what they charge. They dont even tell you the total... they just ring your card. When I complained that the price was wrong based on their in store listed prices and online prices, they told me that they forgot to update their new prices and basically too bad.
My wife and I are from out of town and waited a hour for them to open for a five minute repair. They put out there open sign that says Walk in welcome. Just to be told they could not help us. Thanks for the southern hospitality.
I liked the place. It is pretty popular. Pricing works out well for me. There is free 1 hr parking so wohoo
Loved the place. Excellent service when greeted and prices explained up front. Linda did super job and very friendly. Will definitely go back.
Honestly love this place!! One thing that stood out to me is that while getting a pedicure that kept ensuring the water was warm by continuously adding in more warm water.... I havent experienced this at any other nail place, usually they make it hot then just let it go throughout your whole pedicure!! Overall a wonderful experience and the atmosphere is beautiful. Great color selections as well :)
I live in the neighborhood and pass this place all the time. I finally came in for a male manicure and was told the basic was $25 Ok, pricey but lets give it a shot. I did not want a clear shine but asked to have my nails buffed to a shine. They offered wine or water which was cool. The girl at the front desk was too interested in her phone instead of the guests at site. To me that shows no respect for where she works as the front door person. The manicurist was not a professional, used the cuticle cutter to trim my nails. I had to guide her and in the end there was an additional charge of $5 for buffing my nails to a shine which was not mentioned when i requested it in the beginning of this adventure. Obviously the girl at the front desk was too into her phone. So in the end it was not worthy to spend my time here.
Not sure who the celebrity is that some of the reviewers mentioned but I’ve been a regular here since October and have had excellent service every time. Clean, safe, and fun environment. They tend to hire younger employees compared to some of the other nail salons in the area, which I like because I need help sometimes keeping my nail colors trendy. Definitely worth the drive for me!
Awful. Rude service. Overpriced. Ive tried going to this location a few times for a convenience factor of where I live- but Id rather drive an hour to go ANYWHERE else. The nail techs didnt know the prices of a simple fill. It then took a nail tech many attempts to try to copy an image I was showing her a photo of - a simple ombre. They turned out pure white. So I told her I didnt like them. She quickly got an attitude with me and continued to speak angrily about me in another language to a fellow manicurist. After continuously doing my nails wrong, I just wanted to get out of there and settled for a basic fill- no polish at all. Im so angry at myself for paying $40 for not even half done nails. Not to mention behind their counters are a mess and so dirty. Serving wine does NOT make you a classy place. Hate everything about this spot. PLEASE save yourself the time, frustration, and money. Please see the photo attached to understand my frustration.
Rosa is amazing! I highly recommend asking for her. This place is always clean and you also get a drink while they work on your nails.
Always a great experience!
The only reason I’m even giving two stars is because I am pleased with my pedicure but as for my manicure, I am far from pleased. My tech was EXTREMELY rude and did not give me what I asked for. My nails look like they were done by an amateur and it’s because he was upset I didn’t get gel like he wanted me to but at the end of the day they are my nails so you should deliver the service your customer is asking for to the best of your abilities and my nails do not reflect that. I am new to Nashville and I happy to be able to scratch Gulch from the list of establishlments that will be receiving my business.
Best Nail Salon in Nashville! I get my nails done by Moon, she’s awesome :)
I got acrylics done here on a work trip for my wedding and my nails have lasted for 3 weeks without a single chip. Best nail job I have ever gotten.
This place is right next to my apartment and I still avoid it at all costs--Id rather drive farther away than walk downstairs to go here. Extremely rude staff and unreasonable prices. All the employees act extremely annoyed youre even there, and the girl was trying to do my manicure so fast that she made my cuticles bleed. I wouldnt recommend this salon to anyone.
Fast and dependable work. Reasonably priced. I always walk-in and they make it work.
I was in Nashville for a girls weekend when my friend who lives there suggested to get manicures. We went to The Gulch Nail Bar and I had a top notch experience. The salon was clean, had great music and friendly employees. We received wine with our manicure and had pleasant conversation with our nail techs, especially Olivia. It has been over a week since I had my shellac manicure and it looks like I JUST got it done. I am VERY impressed, and wish this salon was closer so I could go regularly. The only confusion I had was that we ordered the basic, and received the deluxe...but I wasnt mad about it.
Great place to take or send your ladies.Listen fellas, you cant go wrong with this choice in the upbeat Gulch community and section of town.My wife absolutely loves this place and I love making her smile and giving her that pampering she deserves. So guys surprise your lady friend spouse wife with a trip here and you cant go wrong. Great staff and great service and atmosphere.Very Professional...
Customer service could be better and they are expensive. I would go elsewhere. Not worth the money. I got a pedicure and asked can I let me feet soak first and was told no because they need to have time to do other people and tried to up sell me to an extremely expensive pedicure option which includes the basics of a pedicure anywhere else. The water was cold, and they barely scrubbed my feet. Never ever again.
I love how they do my nails but I don’t like the service that much, they are kinda in a rush and you feel stressed! So the service is not that good! I love how they do the dip manicure!
By far the best pedi and mani I’ve ever had. Took their time during the foot massage, cleaned up my nails really well, and shaped them very well. Clean place, nice atmosphere Sebastian was my nail tech, I highly recommend him
I won’t go to any other nail salon, such a great place with friendly staff. My nails always look amazing..... Helen is the best!
I’ve been going to this salon for the better part of a year and a half. I found my technician and would only go to her for the following 7 months until she quit (it is worth noting that she alluded to her departure several times due to the hostile environment — which can especially be detected if the owner is present). After she quit, I was lucky enough to find another INCREDIBLE, very funny, welcoming and talented nail technician. She, too, alluded to the hostile environment and quit less than 3 months after working there. This evening, after a 12 hour work day, I walked into the salon at 6:30. While the salon is advertised to close at 7:30, the staff had already begun their closing routine. It is also worth noting that the majority of my childhood was spent in my family’s salons of which I then worked for many years. Needless to say, I am privy to the cleaning routines (and then some) and thus am sensitive to avoiding walking in last minute. However, when I sat down to get a pedicure, I explained that the previous nail technicians have encouraged me to avoid cutting the sides of my nails as I’m prone to hang nails — when I explained this to the man doing my pedicure, he basically said “I don’t know what you’re talking about. Let me do my job”. He dismissed my request and continued to mumble under his breath to the girl doing my nails (they were doing my hands and feet simultaneously to maximize efficiency — I must say that the quality I became used to was compromised). They filed my nails and didn’t wash them so the file dust was in the crease of my nail when they (I say “they” because 2 people were going back and forth to paint my nails) began painting them. They did a horrendous job of cleaning up the dead skin and cuticles (perhaps this was because I was hunched over in the pedicure chair so she could reach my hands). This is when I said, “I didn’t think I came in that late. I understood you closed at 7:30”. The man replied, “It’s the weekend ... we want to go home.” I stayed silent, tipped them relatively well and thanked them for their service.Again, I completely understand this notion. Adversely, when you commit to a certain schedule, that doesn’t mean you leave promptly every night, especially in the service industry. When I worked in a salon, we closed at 9 and didn’t leave until 11 most nights (I had a lot more to clean than pedicure tubs and nail dust... there was a spiral staircase and 14 tanning beds as well as 7 hair stations and 4 massage rooms — I digress). This is so disappointing because I have ALWAYS treated this staff with respect and have even made friends with a few. I’ve always tipped 25% and have even helped to clean my mess when they were slammed. This was the last time I visit the Gulch Nail Bar. Keep it up, ladies and gentlemen.. if you continue treating your staff and customers this way, you won’t be in business much longer. I hope you read this and feel compelled to exercise strategic business decisions to improve the quality of your service.
Im traveling for the day in Nashville and stopped in for an emergency (single) nail fix before an important meeting and they refused service. I expected and offered to pay but they still refused to do just the one. Great customer service... Ill NEVER go back
Great customer service and atmosphere. The salon was clean and they are happy to accept walk ins!!
Went to another place before this and they couldnt fit us in until 4 hours later but they recommended this place and Im so glad they did! It was worth the walk, or uber ride if you are smart enough, and the staff is great. They offer you water, soda, or wine and I am just completely in love with the place.
Was absolutely awesome! Very professional service. All tools used came out of a plastic baggy and my esthetician was very nice.It is my first time in Nashville but I will return to The Gulch Nail Bar if I come back!
Im pretty particular about my nails on length and shape. I also work in customer service, so I have high expectations, and I was pleasantly surprised with my experience. The lady doing my nails, Moon, was fantastic. She showed me a few different color options that I had described, and was very friendly.
Incredible service. They did a really good job on my nails, I love them. But theyre incredibly overpriced.
Loved it. Lina was the best! Great conversation, and perfect recommendations for color. Got a gel manicure and a pedicure very pleased with the experience. Will definitely be returning.
I usually love this place. This last visit however was awful. I went there an hour and a half before they closed and they rushed my entire appointment and skipped the hand massage. She cut my nails so short that I almost bled. I guess just don’t go there close to when they close.
Literally the worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon. The tech was rude and rough with me and when I asked a simple question about the shape of my nails he literally flipped out, RAN AWAY FROM THE STATION, and left me. The manager was fully aware of the situation and apologetic yet refused to issue a full refund, rather she wanted me to bring my card back to refund the nails I was unhappy with. What a joke of an establishment. No wonder they get bad press right and left.
Great work for my first time going!
Services were fine but the listed price on their website for a gel manicure is $30 but when we went to check out we were surprised with a $45 bill. When we asked the person at the desk she said Yeah she (I guess meaning the owner?) doesnt have the password to the website anymore, weve told her, sorry so we were stuck paying way more and the price for a gel manicure also wasnt listed at the counter. This was super annoying
After being told it would be a 15 minute wait, my friend and I were finally accommodated 45 minutes later (we were the only ones waiting for pedi’s). The woman began working on me while my friend was still waiting. I could tell they were rushing as it was close to closing time. The woman working on me was extremely rough. I told her that she was hurting me and before I knew it the side of my toe was sliced open and bleeding into my tub of water. She roughly tried patting my wound with a paper towel, threw a bandaid on it and didn’t offer any type of consolation. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Very nice experience. Reasonably priced with complimentary wine. Staff was skilled and professional.
Tried this place out a week and a half ago for a dip manicure. I’ve already been to a different salon to get it redone. My dip polish was way too think, started peeling on the sides the 2nd day, and it looked like I did it myself. My regular salon is 2/3 of the price and it will last much longer so I do not plan to ever come back. I figured with the location and price, it must be a good place but I was wrong. Very disappointed.
My nails look wonderful! Ive never had such an attentive nail stylist. My favorite part is that I got them done Monday, and its Thursday and they still look amazing - with regular polish / no gel. This never happens! Yay!
I love my nails. My tech is really skilled. He was really quiet tho.
I recently moved to Nashville and live within walking distance to this salon. I tried this salon several times for mania/pedis and finally gave up. There is a very negative vibe in this salon. The service is rushed and minimalist. Every time I went and asked for the same nail tech, the person was no longer there. The last time I went, my pedicure experience was so negative I cancelled my manicure and left. I always tipped well, tried to be pleasant, but the atmosphere, in a word, “sucks.”
