I lived in a studio apartment at Note 16 and it was the best apartment I’ve ever lived in. The building is super secure, so I always felt safe and you feel like you’re staying in a fancy hotel because the building is so nice. My apartment had a lot of room surprisingly for a studio and very high ceilings which was a plus. Also, the view from my balcony was stunning. The management team was so friendly, and the maintenance team was great and would usually fix any issue I had within the same day. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place in Nashville!

I have been a resident here for almost three years and this community has been absolutely stellar. This midtown neighborhood is quiet, well kept, and perfectly located near Downtown, many restaurants (incl. the 12 South area), and the 65/40/440 highway interchanges. While the actual building has always been secure, security of the parking area has also been dramatically heightened with floor to ceiling security gates and improved lighting to protect your vehicle from break ins.The management team has been nothing but pleasant, professional, and attentive to resident concerns/requests and Maintenance has been incredible; knocking out service requests within 24/48 hrs.I am truly happy with my situation and would recommend anyone looking for a new home to check out this community!

If you want to find out how much money you can pay while sacrificing as many living standards as possible. Check out Note 16! The construction quality is abysmal. You will hear every single movement at any given time from your neighbors. The location is attractive and close to Vanderbilt. Which also means, that there are a lot of teens moving into this place who do not know the definition of being considerate. If you want to sleep at this place or be not bothered at any time, better expect to be substantially disturbed. It’s like a paper house from dollar general, a picture of the wall is attached. It couldn’t stand the burden of a plate sized clock.

I couldnt be happier with my time at Note 16. Management is incredibly responsive and friendly, and any service repairs or questions you have are addressed within hours. The apartments are beautiful (one side of the building has a view of downtown), the building is always kept clean, and theres a Starbucks machine available in the lounge - which tastes just like you got it at Starbucks!Highly recommend to anyone.

This place is awesome! Perfect for med students at Vanderbilt. All appliances are brand new. The gym is perfect size. Garage parking is free. They have a cool pool table room with coffee and hot chocolate Starbucks machine. The manager is always so nice. They respond within minutes from email. They’ll hold packages for you. Maintenance will show the same day or the next for any request. Most tenets are young professionals or students who attend Vanderbilt or Belmont for graduate work.I’m not sure about the slow elevator. I haven’t noticed it being slow at all. I have never heard my neighbors nor have they said they’ve heard me.

I’ve moved out of the apartment for living there 10 months in total.I’m still unsatisfied with its service, even though it’s very short- term friendly. This property is constant changing owners, leading to messy management. If you have an expired check, you won’t know who to contact with. The new manager is unpleasant since he would threat you with real estate authorities. Below is my old review written a year ago.1) This place also likes to use various fines to threat you paying rent or simply speeding up in cleaning the hall way. 3) The building is pretty new, so theres smell of new building inside of rooms. 4) The building does not do a good job in blocking the noise from neighbors, so youll need to communicate with your neighbors with that. However, the manager here is responsible and helpful. The common area looks beautiful. Free coffee is also available.

Note16 Apartments is located right on Music Row and is in a safe spot. Some of my favorite amenities are the lounges on each floor, the coffee station, the courtyard, and the game room. The staff are all very friendly, as well!

We’ve been living here for over 3 years, and we still love it as much as we did the first day.John in the leasing office is fantastically friendly and goes out of his way to make time for everyone. David and Bewar in maintenance are always pleasant, positive, and available 24/7 if there’s anything you need. The whole team works to ensure that Note 16 is more than merely an apartment building - it truly is a community. The entire community is friendly and caring, and I always enjoy running into my neighbors. This is a pet friendly building with super low pet rent and a dog park, so there are plenty of furry friends around happy to see you. Being a relatively small community, you’ll know almost everyone by face and quickly learn nearly every pup’s name. No one is a stranger here.As for location, you’re in a great spot in this particular area of Edgehill. Note 16 is on Music Row, and the streets have sidewalks and bike lanes all around, making it biker and walker friendly. It’s a 10-15 minute walk to Vanderbilt, Belmont, and Hillsboro Village. In one direction, downtown is a 10-12 min drive, and in the other direction, Green Hills is 15-20 min. The local Kroger is about 2 min away, making quick trips to the grocery store painless. One-way streets also mean road noise is at a minimum, especially if your apartment faces inward towards the courtyard. All in all, I am very happy we chose Note 16!10/10

This place is a perfect example of a marketing concept called bad profit, which means the organization earns some small-scale profit and drives loyal customers away. You need to remember the due day every month and make the paying-rent as your first priority or youll be fined 170 USD. Btw, a 90 USD convenient fee is also added. I would not recommend this place to any VU student or professional for its poor sound-blocking structure and unhealthy chemical smells of the new building. (Dont be fooled by the air freshener in the hall way)
