I have only been at Post Ridge for about 2 weeks, but I have absolutely no complaints. Tracy and Valerie are both lovely, quick to reply, and accommodating. The old reviews from old management are not worth reading -- the complex is currently clean, quiet, and well-landscaped. The pool and gym are clean and inviting. When I initially applied for the apartment, Tracy and Valerie immediately switched me into a renovated unit with no extra cost to me, and I didnt even ask. When I walked through the apartment before move in, I noticed the AC didnt come on if the thermostat was changed. I mentioned this to management and they literally fixed it overnight! I am excited for the next year and possibly longer. There are tons of apartment complexes in Bellevue, but this is the one to choose!

We have lived at Post Ridge for the past three years & have had an overall great experience. The current management team has been amazing, providing great communication & support to residents. Likewise, they have been very proactive in continuing to improve the property. Our unit is not fancy, but it has all the important things we need for our family of four: large rooms, ample storage, in-unit laundry, and new kitchen appliances. It is also very reasonably priced and zoned for an excellent elementary school, Westmeade. Especially with the on-going improvements, I would definitely recommend Post Ridge.

Please note: This is a rating for the current management firm. The upgrades to the buildings (new windows, siding, roof) made a big difference to temperature control, and made significant difference in how many spiders we saw in the apartment. The maintenance crew were friendly and knowledgeable, and willing to put in the work to fix any issues.Pricing was competitive, and having moved out, I am missing the third bathroom. We lived here for 6+ years, and we ended on a high note.

This was the first place I lived in when I moved from Illinois to the Nashville area. Immediately loved the community and everyone we met. We formed friendships that we have until this day. But, we left after the first year due to the complex changing ownership three different times, regular maintenance not being done to upkeep property and it being borderline impossible to get ahold of the office staff. We moved to the other side of Nashville but visited the area frequently. The property manager, Val, kept talking about all the improvements they’ve made to not only to the apartments but also making sure everyone’s safety and well-being was put to the top of the list. As my lease from 2020-2021 was ending I decided To look back into postridge and see if what she said was true. To my delight everything turned out exactly as she had said. Between Val and leasing agent, Tracy, being extremely helpful and energetic as far as getting me back, it was easy to say yes to not only a year lease, but a long term mentality. I highly recommend not to judge off star rating. Come meet and talk to the staff and see the new things they have to offer.

I have witnessed first hand the ongoing renovations, and they are looking very good. The property is clean, quiet, and all around well taken care of. The maintenance staff do an outstanding job of taking care of any issues, from a leaky sink to water damage. Theyre on call 24/7 for any emergency. The office staff care about their residents well being and safety. They will work very hard to get you in. The apartments are very spacious and decently priced for the sq feet.

I have lived at post ridge for a year and I have had no issues that were not resolved right away. The staff is wonderful and they do their best to accommodate you. Valerie and Tracey are the best office staff around. The neighborhood is pleasant as well. Love the new renovations. If anyone asked me if they should move to post ridge, I would tell them, with out a doubt, yes.

If i could give a negative amount of stars i would. The buildings were cheaply made over 50 years ago, so if you have children you dont want to be exposed to asbestos or lead paint, you shouldnt probably live here. Maintenance takes weeks to fix anything, including emergencies. There is no actual playground for children, they stopped safe package delivery and held everyones packages hostage over Christmas, the list just keeps going. It is not worth living here at all.

Great accommodation in terms of rent involved. This complex offers the largest sq.footage as compared to any other apartments in Bellevue. All bedrooms have walk-in closets. I recently relocated from Illinois to Nashville. I absolutely love my new apartment at Post Ridge. The master bath and closet are my faves! The staff is also very helpful and friendly. Credit where due: a year ago, this review would have been 3 stars. Apartments have pest problems ranging from cockroaches to brown recluses. The cracked bathroom tiles are filled with dirt and mold. Residents are forced to opt-in to a $20/month service for someone to carry one bag of trash from their doorstep to the dumpster a couple of hundred feet away (whether they use it or not).Management was sometimes slow to enforce policies, but was genuine and friendly, even offering free parking as an incentive for lease renewals. Now, a new management company is in town. It feels like theyve waged war against residents.Theyve started assessing parking fees mid-lease to residents who extended leases under the incentive of free parking. Theyve sent blanket threatening emails to residents for occasional & minor infractions by only a resident or two. The lease states guests may park on the property up to 7 days per month, but a recent group of guests were ticketed in just a few hours. The ticket stickers were difficult to remove and left permanent residue on the vehicles during hot summer weather. I called Post Ridge to inquire about why vehicles were ticketed and was told guests may park on surrounding streets. With the size of this property, the closest street parking is over half a mile away with no sidewalks along busy Hicks Rd.This place has a lot of potential if management can shift their energy from penalizing residents to welcoming them.

My friend and I had a tour scheduled with this apartment complex. The drive was nearly an hour. When we got there, nobody was in the leasing office and the door was locked. I would highly recommend you search elsewhere for a place to live. While the maintenance staff is quick to help the new management team seems to find as many ways to make residents feel unwelcome as possible. I recently hosted a small dinner gathering and within a few hours of being here every visitors car had bright green stickers (extremely hard to remove, which left residue on the windows) that were tagged by the apartment complex. The lease says nothing about not having guests at my home. I have paid rent on time for three years and never had a complaint. I had problems with brown recluse spiders at one of the the two units I lived in and problems with cock roaches at the second. After a member of their management team negotiated free parking on the lease for me to re-sign the new management team came in and added $30 per month in charges to my rent. If they made any effort to right the wrongs I would consider changing my opinion. As for now, I will never recommend this apartment complex to anyone. ****George - The nearest place to park off property is over a half a mile away and the hill going up to our property is at a 30% incline. Would you ask your 86 year old grandmother to park off property and walk up that hill?***

I currently live here and other than a few confusions, it has been pretty good. We really have not had any complaints about things within Post Ridges control. There are a couple things that could be nicer, but the only real issue is that recently the campus became smoke-free and so many people still smoke cigarettes and pot. For the most part this is not an issue, but it can make it obnoxious to have the windows open as the smell just seeps in anyways. Other than that, no real issues.

The office staff is friendly and responsive, and the few maintenance issues weve had were handled quickly and efficiently. PostRidge has been an experience for us so far. Weve only been here three weeks, but I already feel a bit disappointed in a few things. Landscaping doesnt get done regularly and you have to request maintenance fairly often just to keep your apartment in decent condition. The pools are dirty and warm, which is a disappointment in this summer heat. However, maintenance is quick to respond, and the floor plans are very large. It is a lot cheaper than the average apartment in this area.

If I could give this place a no star rating I would. This has to be the worst managed apartment place I have ever dealt with!!!!! This is even after Mission Rick bought them out from the previous person. The front management team is always full of excuses and they are always taking days off to randomly leave and making it much more difficult for you to access the people working in the office. The maintenance crew is very lazy or does not want to complete their tasks in a timely manner, not sure which one. I’ve had them come over several times to fix situations and it would take days and days if not weeks before they showed up.

This place was really sneaky with what they charged moving out and whether a deposit was really a deposit and not a fee that you have no chance of getting back or it going toward move out charges. Not only that but they told us not to clean ANYTHING and yet charged us for our cabinets having stains on them that could have been easily cleaned up. They also raised our apartment cleaning fee after I signed a contract on a set amount. Dont move here unless you wanna lose a bunch of money to a greedy company!! ID GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!!!!

Management is the worst, its always something. From loudly changing roofing at 8am to replacing windows in doors in the middle of winter. They dont seem to care. Please do your research before renting!Update: I have been without a kitchen window for two weeks. There has just been a board where a window should be since before christmas. It is now Jan 3rd with no word of when Im getting a window.Update 2: Was told the windows would be in on the 13th, it is the 13th and still have no idea when my window will be in. Theres really no communication and you really get the idea that they do not care.Update 3: They finally put the window in. Jan 30th. After a month of empty promises and lack of communication. My heating bill went up over a hundred dollars and Im left feeling like Im paying for a terrible situation. I pay rent on time every month and these people cant even give me a window on time. I asked for the contact information of someone higher up and I couldnt even get that. Nothing gets done and when it does, its not even what you wanted. Ive been here for at least 5 years and this is the worst its been. Ever since the new management (Mission Rock) took over i find that i dont have confidence in anything getting done right. Back in the summer there was a dead kitten in the parking lot for 3 weeks. I called or emailed every other day and by the time they came and got it it was just bones. Maybe when they raise the prices on us and drive most out and bring in the richer people they will do better. This place costs more than its worth and Id advise you to find somewhere worth your work. We all deserve better than this.Update 4: On top of everything wrong with this place, they a no longer do maintenance requests. So now my bathrooms sink doesn’t work, half of my kitchen outlets don’t work. You no longer get any type of maintenance unless they consider it an emergency but guess what? You still have to pay full price. This place is a slum. Don’t live here.

We had a very tiny stain on the carpet about 2 inches and had some black scuffs on the wall. We were told that we would be billed $2500 for these conditions and the regular cleaning and later received a moving out bill of $883.59 that is after them already keeping the $300 deposit. We lived in other places and never had this kind of shocking bill for normal were and tear. Just stay away. I initially thought these guys were great until we were ready to move due to water issues. You really do not want to live here. If you move here, be prepared for a) water issues including NO water at times and b) they will attempt to make you pay for carpet replacement, even if its in good condition. If you do end up moving in, take pictures of everything and record all phone calls and all conversations with them like we did. It will come in handy at move-out. My favorite part is how they did a pre-move out inspection more than 2 months before we are due to move out in order to schedule vendors to fix the issues caused by us (mainly needs a bit of paint touch up and carpet cleaning.). Thats not the way it works folks. Know your tenant rights. My lawyer is going to have a field day with these people. If you were charged for carpet, please email me at betam4x at g mail dot com. Please read my review in detail before you decide to choose this awful apartment. Let me tell you my one-year experience with this apartment.1. The apartment is mostly located on top of a hill which is far from downtown and midtown Nashville. Youll enter into a heavy traffic when you get out in the morning around 8:30 am to school or office.2. Unsafe community. Drug deals are out there in the community which finally causes shooting case during my one-year stay.3. Poor facilities. Compared with the similar rental price, the apartments nearby typically provide a big swimming pool and a nice gym which you cannot see here. Only a small pool and limited equipment could be found.4. Lazy and irresponsible service. Pest comes into my bedroom every week and they come to do a so called pest control with nothing changed, no effect but leaving a ticket in your kitchen. Leaking of washer would be regarded as successfully repaired with the washer moved in your walkway, everything messed up and nothing hooked up.5. They are misleading you to pay them more when you decide to move out. Youre told no need to be present and then they will charge whatever they want based on any tiny things found in your apartment. $350.00 would be charged for you as soon as small trash like flower and watermelon left in your apartment plus another $75.00 general cleaning fee. RIDICULOUS! No call, No prompt to remind you as you decide to move out. Absolutely not friendly and greedy. We were told to return the apartment in the exactly same condition as they give us. But as long as there is tiny scratch or damage, you can do nothing but pay for their expensive service.6. Expensive and redundant service. Valet trashing is not helpful when you live near a trash can but it can never be waived.7. Dont be cheated by some of the five-star ratings online. Can you rate it as five-star for only one or two reasons? We are asked to give them five-star rating online to win some damn gift card.In all, unprofessional, irresponsible and greedy!

DO NOT LIVE IN THIS APT!!!! There 3 reasons.1. Ridiculous move-out charges!!!!!They are trying to get every cent from your pocket! We were charged $75 for general cleaning. However, this $75 does not include throwing these small items that we left in the APT. We were charged $350 because we left one trash bag in a bathroom, and one watermelon and some tiny stuff in the refrigerator!!! The painting of walls cost us $370 since they can alway find tiny tiny ink on every wall. Some of them may be left by us, but I am pretty sure that many of them existed before we moved in. We did not take photos, since before we move out none of us could know that they would charge so much!! We have to pay $750 for ceiling which does not look like a reasonable price considering the tiny size. We understand that we need to pay for that, but $750? Haha, they are just trying to make money from you.2. Safety issue!!!There was a gun shot. And it looked like that some guy stolen two unlocked cars. Anyway, I did not actually see these things, but I decide to move out because I want to survive.3. Monthly additional charges!!!Our rent is around $1120 for a 2b2b apartment. However, post ridge usually charges us $1200 each month due to different fees. We HAVE TO pay the valet trash fee and regular trash fee at the same time, although cats in this APT would like to crash the trash bag so we could not leave trash bags for the valet to pick up, otherwise the garbage would ruin everything. There is $10 parking fee for each car, although there are plenty of space. In summary, if you want to live in this APT, be prepared to pay additional dollars every month!By the way, I have saw police parking in this APT many times. I have no idea what they were looking for, but I am sure that this is not a good place to live unless you are sure that you can protect yourself! From what I see, everyone is moving out from this APT. That is probably the reason that you can live one month for free if you decide to move in right now!

Before you decide to move in, please read these reviews in advance. I meet the same situation like most of the reviews here. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. After you move out, it’s their showtime. We did a total cleaning as good as we can do. And the carpet and general furniture are always kept clean. So they didn’t get a chance to charge us much for those thing. But, they will show you how professional and carful they are. Finally, we were charged $1200 for some ‘cavils’. $600 for some small black spots and scratches on the wall. Could anyone promise no bumps when move in or move out?And $600 for two tubs resurface. One tub is really need to be resurfaced but another one is just wear and tear. It really looks like how it was when we moved in. For apartments with this level pricing, it is general to use cheap stuffs for minimizing cost. However, they don’t just do that but also want to make more money. If you really want to move in to this place, please never take a shower, never make food in the kitchen, never touch the wall, wall carefully and always wear clean gloves. And like the other people said “please video tape everything at move in and every corner to protect yourself”. (ps. Why doesn’t google have 0 star for feedback and review?!)

Ok so I have lived here for 13 months, when I moved in I had a dog that I paid for monthly as well as putting a deposit down. Then out of no where they got new management which completely stopped allowing my breed and wouldnt allow us to to renew our lease. So that just shows they have no reguard for the people who are living there. They are just money hungry which leads me to the biggest issue. Upon moving out we talked to the service manager and he stated as long as there is nothing on the floor and nothing to clean we wont hit you with any outrageous fees. So my Roomate and I cleaned and took photos and a video of the apartment in perfect conditions other than normal wear and tear from living in a place for 13 months. Before we left we called the service manager and asked him to take a look but refused but managed to ask us to take the trash we took to one dumpster to another dumpster that was on the entire other side of the complex because there were something that we left beside the dumpster in case people wanted it. So we went and picked up all the trash beside the dumpster and put it on top of the dumpster in its respected place and took a picture....only to get hit with an outrageous cleaning fee ($1800) to be exact. And claimed that they had photos of the drumpster. So this service manager went and took a photo of the mess before we went and cleaned it and tried to use that as proof. Good thing for iPhones is our time and place was after his. Absolute garbage! Just like the people who run this place. Oh and dont hit me with a lame copy and paste response like you do everyone else that gives you 1 star. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! I didnt mind living there until the last few months. It went downhill quickly. The management was very crooked and lazy. The only person I truly enjoyed interacting with was the maintenance guy, Jerry. He was absolutely one of the best humans and I would recommend him 1000 times over. After being told cleaning would be about $60 we were hit with almost an $800 charge upon move out.I asked at the office when I filled out my move out forms about painting, carpet and cleaning.I was told that cleaning fee would be about $70 and was instructed to NOT CLEAN my apartment since they had someone come in and clean it anyways. I also asked about the painting (since getting paint from the office and doing it ourselves was not a problem) - I was told they had to repaint after move out anyways and to not worry with it ---- BUT WAS THEN HIT WITH A $500 PAINTING CHARGE. PAINTING!!! After being told that was a standard procedure in turning an apartment. IF ITS STANDARD OPERATING THEN DO NOT CHARGE YOUR TENANTS FOR SOMETHING AND SAY IT WAS THEIR FAULT - we were MORE THAN WILLING to repaint any scuffs on the walls (which only had primer, no paint from the day we moved in) but were told we did not need to. WHAT A CROOKED MOVE OUT SYSTEM. We were not alerted of anything after the pre-move inspection either. What is the point of this inspection if they do not disclose anything that needs to be taken care of before move out. Also - the community manager was VERY unhelpful throughout our time there. There was a shooting in the complex and she wasnt even aware of it until someone called and told her a few days later. Another time I had two packages stolen from my doorstep. I called the office to inquire about them and she said someone had called in a tip that said they saw another tenant take them from my doorstep and proceeded to give me the burglars apartment number and suggested that I go ask them if they took it. HOW IRRESPONSIBLE. This should be grounds for immediate firing.

If youre looking for a nice place to live in Bellevue area, this is not it. Please look for other options. I wish I did.Management in the leasing office may be the slowest workers I have ever endured. It takes her weeks to reply to a email or voice mail and are never in the office. Their management team is incredibly inadequate at their job as well, 8/10 answers to your question will be I need to talk to corporate and get back to you. You will then never hear back until you bug them 2-3 more times or youll hear back in about a month. Seems like more training is needed or more staff. Preferably both. The maintenance staff is not so great either. Incredibly rude. Spends hours working more as a on site security rather than a maintenance team by looking through your car windows at night with flashlights. But then vanishing when something really needs to be upkept. There have been countless car thefts, break ins, and on site shooting that has all happened within my time here as well.Coyotes also prowls the location at night in groups. The insects are a real problem. The exterminator is a joke who never shows up or when he does only sprays in one corner of your apartment and then leaves. Roaches, wasp, brown recluses, and centipedes. If your rent is $1100, be prepared to tack on another $100-$200 dollars monthly for things like a $30 fee to pay rent online, terrible garbage service (who will all smoke on your smoke free property while doing so), etc. also rent is already at a very high base for such outdated apartments. They use the cheapest carpets imaginable so youll have pay for them later.Youre just not allowed to have any company over night because youre apparently a child and they will tow your grandmothers car if she needs to stay at your house. They argue this is because the parking is paid for, but the system is broken to where any company you have will get a pretty green residue sticker on their window or have their car towed. But none of the employees will be in reach after they make the tow call. And finally the move out process. Its a train wreck. Theyre do a walk through a few times before you move and say youll owe a small amount for small and reasonable things. Then on your move out day they will hit you with $1000-$3000 bill for move out over the same things they just said would cost you $300 (which is usually your deposit). They will then be incredibly difficult to get in contact with to discuss the bills, but are super eager to collect the money before ever discussing the charges. The best thing Post Ridge has going for it is the pool and their wooded location if you prefer to get out of city life sometimes. But there are other options for that. There are literally dozens of other cheaper and nicer apartments in the Bellevue area. Please avoid aimco. They are the worst company I have dealt with in my life.

Living here isnt bad if you dont mind old carpet, cabinets that never shut, leaking faucets, black mold, drug deals, people breaking into your vehicles, and being hit with unreasonable move out charges. I loved jerry and Cynthia. Both of them always helped me out but they can only do so much. As much as you pay to live there you can find a much better place in Bellevue. We got a pre move out inspection 60 days before our lease ended and were told we would be sent prices for any damages that would be on the bill. After one month we never heard anything back. Finally I went to the office to figure out if we would have to pay anything. We get a bill for over 600$. 515$ for painting alone. They make you pay for painting after every lease and do not tell you this. If there is any kind of scuff or spot on the wall everything has to be painted. Beware they are scam artists.

Read my review before any others. I will give you an honest review, rather than your typical I hated it so you will too stuff people leave, In hopes to get a deposit back...Overall: 4/5I would recommend living here for the price. Yes it has negatives, but no place is perfect. Its an apartment complex after all. But if you can afford it, I would go somewhere else.Price: 5/5You cant find a better deal in Bellevue. If its cheaper, its going to be 900 sqft smaller. If its the same sqft, Its going to be $900 more. They have the most spacious living arrangements you can find in 37221. We have a 1,800 sqft 3 bedroom apartment, and we pay $250 less than my brothers 950 sqft 2 bedroom apartment down the road.Location: 4/5The location is right in the heart of Bellevue. 15 Minutes from Downtown, and less than 1 minute away from almost every store you will need to get to day-to-day. The great thing about the location in my opinion, is that youre right in the middle of town, but still feel like your in the middle of the woods. My only dislike is the large hill you have to drive up every day. But that is a very mild concern.Management: 4/5The New Management team will do everything they can to fix whatever issue you have. That is of course youre a *respectful individual. (more on that below). When I have had a problem with payments, or mail, or parking - 1 Simple phone call is all it took for them to mark their calendars, call the right people, and have it taken care of almost immediately.Maintenance: 5/5You need something fixed? Go online and fill in a work order, and within 24 hours depending on the emergency - Its fixed. Want Stainless Steel Appliances, New Cabinets, or even a newer model washer and dryer? THEY WILL DO IT! Yes, Upgrading your apartment means raising the price of your rent, but the choice is entirely yours. If you can afford it, you can live in the style you prefer.Neighborhood: 3/5As stated before, If youre a respectful individual, or just a decent human being that has matured into an adult, management will take care of you and treat you that way. Within the last year, there has been quite a bit of change in the quality of tenants. Most of which have already been evicted for not paying, dealing drugs, etc. etc. Which goes to show that Post Ridge has a policy in keeping their neighborhood safe without concern. They wont deny anyone moving in and treat everyone fairly, but ones your a tenant and start disobeying all their rules and dont pay rent - you will be gone. For all the reviews about bad neighborhood! drug deals! gunshots! crime! I will tell you right now to disregard those. They have all the right to be concerned and for good reason, but I was outside and witnessed every event. The one and only gunshot was in the parking lot about 250ft away from me while I was on my patio. It was a drug deal gone south, he was shot from the driver inside the car, was taken to the hospital, and there was an email sent out to all the residence the next day stating what happened and that they were evicted immediately. Another event was a police chase that ended in our neighborhood. That had nothing to do with Post ridge. There was also a couple of units that had people dealing drugs in broad daylight. They are currently in the eviction process. So yes, within the last year quite a bit of exciting things have happened, but they always are dealt with immediately and professionally.Charges, Fees & Services: 2/5Charges - Yes there are going to be charges upon moving out. This is nothing new, and it applies EVERYWHERE. It might be minor, it might be a lot. Keep your living space clean - like you should - and this shouldnt be a concern.Fees - Be prepared to pay about $200 more than is stated for your rent. There is also Parking, Trash, Vallet Trash (which no-one uses), Water, convenience fees, if a package has been in the office for over 3 days, and you even have a monthly charge to pay for their billing service. (pay to pay).

Post Ridge would not be somewhere I recommend for anyone. The area is safer than others. We only had one shooting for our whole stay.First on the list of troubles from post, you will get monthly charges for pest control. However, They sent an email that they were going to start sending someone to spray for pest midway through our lease (a little odd it was just now starting since we pay for it monthly) . However this never happened, at least I can assume because we had bugs and brown recluses living throughout our apartments for the duration of our year lease. It is really hard to get a reply from the office. Ive left voicemails and emails and never received any reply except when it was move out time and they wanted their money. With this, I will say maintenance requests are answered fast and any repairs are completed shortly after they get with you.Moving out was a pain. After the pre move out inspection it took well over 30 days to find out if we had any damages that we were responsible for. Here is were unreturned calls as stated earlier pays a role. It took us going there in person for them to finally get an answer. You will have to use and pay for their cleaning service and also their carpet cleaning. This is on the move out form thats on their portal. However they also say to not worry about nail holes, that they will repair them. They do repair them, by painting the whole apartment. They charged well over $500 for repainting and upon talking to the inspector I was told they repaint all units after move out due to scuffs and nail holes. They dont seem to care at all about the people living there, it seems they just want to get as much money as they can from the tenants.

Im not giving them any stars because they dont deserve it but i made me. I moved out of their apartments in 2011 and almost 5 years later Im still dealing with them. For one they occurred up late fees that my roommate and I had no idea about. and charged us over 3500 dollars for maintenance issues!! After we settled in court. I was the only one dealing with the fees because they only put it on my credit. So when I try to get everything taken care of they still to this day give me a run around. I really hope people read this and really ask themselves is it worth it.

UPDATE 10/31/17: After several weeks, I was able to resolve my complaint with AIMCO management. I wish to thank their leadership team for assisting me during this unfortunate event.Look at this move out statement. If this doesnt look appealing to you, then stay away from Post Ridge.Like countless others on this page, I have been wrongly assessed hundreds and hundreds of dollars in ridiculous move out fees for cleaning and damages.Property management entered my apartment 2-3 days before my lease was up (when no one was home) and photographed my apartment when it was still a mess (we were still moving out and we hadnt finished packing or cleaning it yet). They then tried to use these photos as evidence that I left nails and holes in the wall, that the apartment was a mess, and they charged me hundreds of dollars in cleaning and damages fees! I even proved that I couldnt possibly have left the apartment in that condition because I was still in possession of the items that can be seen in the photos! So they came into my apartment without permission when I was still under my lease, when there was no emergency, I was never notified they came, and they took pictures of my home to wrongfully assess me of damages and cleaning fees. I only found out about the photos by chance when I was talking to the receptionist for the company who handles the move out statement I was sent, and she was kind enough to forward them to me.Whats worse, I was charged $450 for floor damage that was caused by work the property management themselves had ordered. I even had email proof that the damage was from the workers they hired and I was simply ignored.Ive reached out to the management at AIMCO (the company that owns Post Ridge) to hopefully settle these wrongful charges for cleaning and damages. If they are non-responsive, Ill be going to the general sessions court in Davidson county this week to file a civil warrant and settle this in small claims court. I am very thankful I have thorough documentation and proof that the charges on the statement are bogus. If you have been wrongfully charged cleaning fees and damages, contact the third party company that AIMCO uses to handle the move out statements and ask them to send you the pictures they used to assess the move out condition of the apartment. It is proving a life saver for me right now and it can really help your case in a legal setting. Do not be afraid to defend your rights as a tenant.

You get what you pay for. It is in Bellevue and the apartments while old are very spacious and the price is on the low end for the area. One of the biggest complaints is the smoke free claim they make, this was a selling point for us but we quickly found out they just claim it they dont actually enforce it nor is it anywhere close to being smoke free. In fact I would say over 75% of the people smoke either cigarettes or weed and do it where ever they feel like. Brings us to issue #2 pretty sure while it did not bother us or make an issue for us the apartment next to us was dealing drugs out of it. The maintenance staff is great and they will tell you the truth, like our move out inspection he told us just get your stuff and go because even if you clean and try to get deposit back, they will find a way to charge you for something so dont bother with any of it. Was nice to know before hand that they would rip us off so we just did not bother with it. Since move out we are being charged another months rent we did not know we would be because it was a concession they gave us when we moved in, we got a free month because of a promotion they were running, but apparently not free as we now are being charged for it. This was very lengthy just be sure to check everything before deciding on this place, it is not terrible but like I said you get what you pay for, I expected to get ripped off a little and that is what has taken place.

Updated Dec 28, 2020New Management is trying. They continue to repair and replace things. Apartments are still 4 stars. Haven t had any major problems. Its a great place for a family to live.Updated Dec 5, 2019Ongoing problems. I update every time something happens. Please start below and read everything.Weve lived here going on 2 years. Last month we were late in paying our rent. On the 15th of Feb, 2018, I paid the full amount in a cashiers check. Since then I have had 1 card and 1 piece of paper left on my door threatening eviction. The management, which has changed since I made my payment, tells me that i am good and everything is paid up. As of today, March 12th, and according to the Sheriffs department I will be evicted on the 20th. Oh, and the leasing office is closed today. I love the area, and I will continue to live here, but I will not recommend it to anyone.Additional Note: I was just notified by the regional manager and he apologized for the mistake. Apparently someone forgot to notify their attorney that I had paid my rent. I only give three stars because if you pay your rent on or after the 15th, they submit paperwork for eviction. Thats a little aggressive in my opinion, however, it is their policy and I accept it.Second update. I was checking to see if i should go up to 4 stars but chose not too. The leasing office has great people but since my original review, theres been another turnover of management. Its still family friendly.Third update. We were only able to make a partial payment on rent at the beginning of the month. Since that time we have been charged $100 in late fee charges, which i agree with, and $400+ in legal and eviction fees. Oh, and today is only the 12th of the month. The site wont even let me pay partial payments. Again, the local, on site management is great. AIMCO, owners of the apartment complex are the problem. If this was a 5 star complex, i could understand, but with eviction fees and late fees in apartments that are so old that the ceilings leak and everything is just painted over.....leaving who knows how many coats of paint on everything. I guess we have to seek legal action.July 25, 2019, I sent a maintenance request due to low hot water pressure. Its so low, the wife and i have resorted to a bath with a wash cloth. Its SundayJuly 28th and I have neither seen or heard any updates.July 26, 2019. First thing this morning, maintenance was here, polite and respectful, and hit the reset button on the hot water heater. We have hot water and water pressure! And since my last post, the complex has been sold.....again!!!4th UpdateOn November 21, 2019, i submitted a work request for a new light bulb over the sink. I tried to find a bulbat at Wal Mart, Lowes, amd Home Depot and they didnt carry the bulbs because of the odd size. I also submitted a work request on our microwave the same day. It stopped working. I also noticed that the paint inside the microwave was flaking off. As of today, Dec 5, 2019, i have not heard anything. Not sure what the problem is or why its taking so long. Ive sent emails and no reply. I should not have to call or go to the office. Thats why the company has invested in an App and have email.Positive note, they replaced the roofs and gutters, and replaced the rotten fencing around the complex. The people Ive spoken to in the office are very friendly and professional.

Horrible experience! Do not recommend! Lived at PR for over two years, when time to leave gave my required 60 day notice and was given a move out date of 4/24. One week before the head maintenance guy knocked on my door to say that I was supposed to leave on that day 4/17 and that I had to prove that my date was the 24th. Tried to log into my account to get the info but my account was locked and I could not access the info. He then told me that I would have to pay more money for the extension. I started the move out on the 17th and went to the office when it finally opened and asked the receptionist to look up my account, she said that the move out date was the 24th and gave me a print out. I had already started moving out so I asked why the extra charges? She said that it was for the 17-24 and I told her that I had already paid the rent through the 24th. I tried to call several times to get more information but no one would return my calls. Tried to call corporate but no one will return my calls! This is highly unethical treatment of a great tenant. I was lied to and tricked into an early and extremely stressed move out. I had made plans for a mover to come on the original date but was forced to move out one week early, the day after Easter! I had to pay much more money to get my things moved than I would have and this move caused me to miss work, call on friends and family to help and tremendous stress. I had to rush and get everything out in no time and now all my things needed to function are in a storage unit with no order what so ever! This had caused me and my family and friends extreme trouble!I was also told my the head maintenance guy, Clarence that I should not even try to clean anything because they were going to charge me over $500 to clean when I leave, that I didnt have a choice! I believe that there are laws in place to protect tenants especially in Tennessee and I intend to contact my attorneys.

I lived here. It was one of the worst experiences Ive ever had with apartment management, or an apartment complex in general. AIMCO has been posting the same Lets make it right rhetoric for about a decade now. The management changes. Were going to make it right this time, we swear! More lousy reviews get posted. Were going to contact the property manager DIRECTLY and let her know about your concerns (after youve moved out. What is Shequoia going to do, exactly—wave a fu*king magic wand and fix the complex? Is she going to replace the stained, cheap carpet? Is she going to add insulation to the apartments and replace the windows? Is she going to make the appliances look like the ones in the model picture? Or is she going to sit back and collect the rent checks and send them to AIMCO every month like every manager has done before her? Its too bad that Post Ridge is on a hill rather than in the flood plain that destroyed so much of Bellevue in 2010 when the flood came through. The best thing that could happen to this complex is for it to be wiped out by a tornado or a fire—or for someone to turn the whole thing into condos and start over. And another thing—theres no way in hell that the Ruby apartment is 1375 square feet. Thats a bold-faced LIE. After you add up the sum total of the 2 bedrooms, the dining room, living room and kitchen youre left with about 630 sqft that are unaccounted for. Theres no way that two baths, two walk-in closets and a couple of smaller closets add up to almost half of the total square footage of the apartment. But I guess if you call Shequoia, shell magically increase the size of your floorplan. According to the posted floorplan, a rectangle (this is a generous allowance for error, since the apartment is not a full rectangle shape) of 47 x 22 would only give just under 1050 sqft. Expanding out the measurements to 50 long x 25 (which means that the bedroom would be 15 and the bathroom would be another 10 feet deep) STILL ONLY GIVES 1250, which is 125 sqft less than the stated amount. Respond to THAT, AIMCO.

Post Ridge was a neat place to live. My wife and I stayed there for about a year (15 months, out in Decemeber) in the apartments at the bottom of the hill (which I will elaborate on later,) and it was a really great place. The apartments are spacious for the price, they are close to just about anything in Bellevue (and just a skip from Brentwood for you businessmen and women) - We had the dog park nearby, the Warner Parks, close to the highway but not too close - really, if you like Bellevue, its a good centric place to be. The whole process of move-in and move-out was quick and painless. The community was pretty great - dog friendly, a park for the children at the top of the hill, and a pool. The maintenance crew was absolutely incredible. Put in a ticket and BAM your problem was solved. And they did EVERYTHING. I even complained once about the metal railings missing the caps on either end; they had a welder there by the end of the week. No joke, it was mind boggling.Management was....Im not really sure? Because honestly the woman at the front desk (Chassity) took care of anything we could have ever needed. She was prompt, helpful, and very sweet. AND from what I understand they just made her the manager, which is fantastic: they crit with that decision. Someone who is that devoted and now able to make those decisions earns them the 5th star.Besides all that, there were flaws, but minor at worst. I personally am very thankful I was at the bottom of the hill. The Complex is split up into two areas - the top and the bottom. The hill to the top is very steep, and at the top, a lot of the apartments surround the playground there... You know... With kids. We dont have kids so staying far away from that was a plus for us. And though the place is Bellevue-centric, there were no sidewalks from there to anywhere else (which is a flaw throughout most of Nashville) - and Post Ridge is no exception.Anyways. tl;dr - Great place, incredible staff, center of Bellevue, pool. What else could you ask for?

Difficult to deal with management that’s hardly ever in the office, they take way too long to deal with problems or get back to you but are very prompt to start bothering you over stuff. Had problems with first apartment I rented from them and I’m having problems with the second after I signed to transfer my lease to someone else
