Honestly, if I could give zero stars I would. We were looking for an apartment complex and we came across Zelda Pointe. It was decently priced and quite spacious, my only reservation was the previous bad reviews. Right when we moved, the complex came under new management who promised all the previous issues were going to be that - previous. So we took the chance and signed the lease. It didn’t take long before I began to regret that decision. When you moved in, you had to fill out paperwork with things that needed repairs, updates, etc. we filled that out and only had a couple of things not working/needing repairs. Otherwise, everything looked really nice and clean. Two weeks went by and we had not heard a thing about getting everything fixed. So I put in work orders to get everything repaired. Someone came by, looked at everything, and said everything should be fixed/taken care of by the following day. Except, no one showed up the following day. So we had another maintenance issue over the weekend so I had to put in another work order and I logged in to check the status in the middle of the week and every. Single. Order. Was listed as complete and fixed and no one had ever come by our apartment. So I called the front office and explained the situation. They sent someone out who looked at all our issues and worked on what he could with the tools he had. I was assured he would be back the following day with the needed tools to finish everything up. Flash forward to the next day, no one ever shows up or calls to update us. I have to wait almost a week before calling the front office again to get someone out there to finish up the work that was suppose to be done right when we moved in. Then we have had numerous issues with our dishwasher that I have put in multiple work orders for. I recently found out that the main person who came to our apartment in the beginning was just telling his supervisor there was nothing wrong with it and we were being overdramatize. It ended up having another issue and low and behold, the entire dishwasher is ended up having to be replaced now. I can forgive maintenance issues because I know it’s a large complex and there is a lot going on. But the main issue, the thing that I can’t let go is when maintenance came out to do some general updates (light fixtures, etc), THEY LEFT THE KEYS IN OUR DOOR. For over 12 hours, a set of keys stay in our door that anyone could have taken. No one ever came looking for them or called asking if they were left in our apartment. When I took the keys to the front office to get an explanation and to express my concerns about how I felt my safety and security felt very violated and how I felt very unsafe living here now, I was in short told all she was willing to do was change the locks and she said sorry this happened. I wanted apologies from everyone involved as this isn’t an issue that should have ever happened, but the only apology I have received is from the assistant. In short, management doesn’t care about the safety and well-being of the residents. All they care about is if you pay your rent on time each month. If you have any issues with maintenance or bugs or keys being left in your door, you are nothing but a bother to them. I would definitely NOT live here and I would stay far far away.
In the middle of pandemicAnyone who stays at Zelda Pointe renewed their lease recently (about to renew), wondering what changes you got at the time of renewal. My rent got increased, preferred employer discount got taken away, altogether comes to be near $60more /month .Been staying since 2018, not being able to use laundromat, gym,Tennis court since last year jan(covid), still closed. Service has been taken away and going down but rent is only going up.thanks for reading
I lived here for 2 years. The first year was great, but once the complex was under new management, things went south. Noise disturbances and constant water shut-offs became a problem. The money you may save on rent is not worth it here. I ended my lease early and moved ASAP. I could not take the living conditions anymore.
They need to do a lot better. When I first moved here everything was good. It was quite, the staff was on top of everything. I don’t like the fact that they raise the rent up . They do not have new appliances at all. They don’t notify you if the water goes out. They have water issues almost every month. The air goes out! They claim they put a new unit. The only two good things I can say is the area and how quite it is.
My kids and I love it out here. I feel so safe and confortable here. My apartment is huge and I love the closet space. Well be staying here going on 2 years in march. unfortunately were going to move because my daughters want there own bedroom, Zelda point only have 1 and 2 bedrooms we need a 3 now.
I love the employees at thy apartment. They are nice an kind .
I liked the space & how quiet it was when I was there. My only issue is that the water lines seemed to have to be worked on every other month so you may wake up in the morning without any water not knowing why. It was also a little pricey for the floor plan, but I guess youre paying for the location instead of the space. The only thing that could be better is giving the kids somewhere to play so that they dont have to run around in the parking lot.
Its quiet and I love that, but rent is toooooo high for these apartments. They not even update. Old cabinets & carpet.. I feel rent shouldn’t be so high and rent should be cut down.
Lacks professionalism and non- responsive.
Nice place. Comfortable. Wouldve given 5 stars but rent is too high.
At this point residents have been without water for 24 hrs. and counting. No hand washing, no toilet flushing. No communication.
This complex is earthy, quiet, my neighbors are the best, and I love the warm hearted management along with maintanance.
Very very crooked place they had a crooked manager who stole money from peoples rent money now they making all the renters pay the money back or that gonna kick them out
A great place to live. Quiet.
Ok, but needs better parking
My husband and I have lived here with our 7 month old for a year next month (August) and we love it! Its very quiet and peaceful. Everyone really keeps to themselves but are also friendly. Its quiet too, we just recently had a vehicle break in but the losers who did it also hit 15 other homes behind the apartment complex so its nothing that anyone could help. Break-ins can happen anywhere! Other than that though, weve never felt like we werent safe. The apartments themselves arent the most up-to-date but they arent absolutely horrible either! We lived in a one bedroom first before our daughter was born and made it very comfortable for it to be as small as it was. Now we live in the 2 bedroom, upstairs, which I call the suite because it comes with everything the apartment complex offers (Washer/dryer hookup, fireplace etc.) and we love it! Very spacious and lots of storage/closet space. Havent used the fireplace yet but will as soon as the cold weather approaches us. My husband loved using the workout area before we got a gym membership, and the internet room is nice if you want to go sit and drink coffee while checking facebook (they also provide coffee via Keurig which is nice) Havent used the pool yet but it seems pretty clean. The staff is sweet too. I know Ms. Brenda the best and shes so nice and helpful! Maintenance really comes through when needed also. Parking isnt a problem. Dont ever have problems with bugs. Tennis court is fun but tennis is really hard so we rarely ever use it anymore haha! Over all I give Zelda Pointe an 8 out of 10. Only because its a little outdated appliance and fixtures wise. But everything else is great. Never had a problem with rent messing up. Were also next to everything on Zelda Road including stores, gas stations, the interstate, and fast food.. so the location is pretty convenient.
The lady in the office is always hella nice
When I couldnt find it at the other store I was sent to this one and will be going back
Good place
Cheap and best
Quit area
Good
