I needed to get a nail fill before going on vacation and stopped at Nail Cops over my lunch hour. Id been there before for pedis, but never a fill. Kin did a fabulous job on my ombre! I called this morning and they were able to get me at my desired time; Kin was very sweet and meticulous; and my nails came out just how I wanted them. The only reason that I didnt give 5 stars is because of the price -- $60 is the highest priced fill Ive ever paid -- but perhaps thats because downtown Minneapolis prices are higher than the suburbs.

I loved this nail shop. My pedicure was so good. I am an athlete and need a good scrub and my feet and hands felt like butter. I have only gotten a basic gel manicure and was told to go to Nail Cop for their dipping polish. So happy I did. My dip manicure has lasted over a month. The pic is my manicure at week 4. Im going back!!!

I have been going to Nail Cops for three months now, and each nail service is perfect. The staff is extremely kind, and their work is amazing. I have never broken a nail since I started going to Nail Cops. Not even once. I have never even experienced lifting, and I sometimes let my nails go three weeks without a fill. The pedicures make my feet look and feel brand new. They pay such close attention - I’ve never left with a crooked or chunky nail. The polish application is perfect. I never have any on my skin, and they never miss a spot.

Lovely run nail salon tucked away in the downtown district of Minneapolis.The staff is very friendly and always remembers me when I come in. They are open late and work with my schedule when I need to come late in the afternoon/early evening.As far as services go, their attention to detail is very good, the salon is clean, and their prices are reasonable.I used to get gel manicure but as it grew out it would always separate from the nail bed at the cuticle and my hair would get caught in it when is run my hands they my hair.Hang and Jennifer suggested the dip powder and Ill never go back to gel. They file it down perfectly at the cuticle and when it grows out Im not getting that separation anymore. Dip lasts me three weeks, if not a little more.Bring cash when you go, and be prepared to pay before your service is done.

The ladies here were super nice and professional. I love how my nails turned out. This is going to be my new to go place. Super convenient location if you live in downtown. Pricing is very fair.

FAVORITE NAIL SHOP IN THE TWIN CITIESI’ve been a loyal customer for the last two years now, and they always take care of me, are so positive and kind, and most importantly SO skilled. I’ve “cheated” in desperate times and regretted it every single time. I’m a perfectionist and never scared to ask for something to be fixed or adjusted, and I never have to ask because they do them perfectly from jump. The only shop I know I can go in, and not have to pay attention to what they’re doing to make sure I get the results I want. LOVE THEM!!

Small shop, parking garage for building is $6 after 4pm. The shop could use a makeover, but their skills are solid. Heidi did a fantastic job on my full set - friendly, detailed, and made a perfect oval shape. Prices are fair. Go for the gel upgrade, it dries instantly!

Pretty good spot. I never make a reservation but have never had to wait more the 15minutes. The ladies are really nice and do a good job. I got a gel manicure and it turned out great and wasn’t over priced.

Ive gone here multiple times and I love these ladies! I like to book ahead, but they also take walk-ins. They have some of the best value around and I love going every time. They do such a great job!

Great job on nails. Got dipped with gel french on hands/feet. They were very nice, friendly and super quick! They soaked my toe and finger nails at the same time to accommodate my tight schedule. The wax dip on the hands at the end of service was a really great surprise! Will be back for sure! Be sure to bring at least cash for tip, as their card system doesnt provide that option.

Great place and the best price in downtown. Today was my first time here and was hesitant on if I was going to like it as it doesn’t look precisely fancy .. but the two girls that did my manicure and pedicure did a great job! I’m coming back. 50$ mani & pedi and includes paraffin in the hands.

I absolutely love getting my nails done here. Always friendly, professional, flexible, and artistic!! I get so many compliments on my nails. My go to place for the past year! They also are taking great covid-19 precautions such as hand washing, temperature taking, and extra contact information! They also added plexiglass between each station.

I have been there twice to see Tina. Shes amazing. Highly recommend.

Love this place they have an awsome hot rock oil pedicure message with hot wax on your feet. I have been here more then once now and I recomend this to everyone who ask where to get a good pedicure from.

An amazing salon! Im not from the area, and came in for a shellac manicure while in town on a week night. They were accommodating to walk-ins, the staff was super friendly and their work was amazing! The application of the shellac was the best Ive ever had done! It lasted more than 2 weeks, and my nails quite flexible and typically dont make it to 2 weeks with shellac. Overall Im super impressed with this salon! Would recommend to anyone!

Nail cops is awesome!! They do a really good job and have very reasonable prices. It might not look fancy but the ladies really know how to pamper their clients. Pro tip- they ask for all tips in cash. Enjoy!

This place was great!! My friends and I stayed at the hotel ivy downtown and needed a pedicure after all of our shopping. The space was great (big enough for all of us to go together), and staff were friendly and the service was superb! They volunteered to take pics for us which was nice too! The lavender pedi was wonderful! I did a lot of research for places downtown because you never know what to expect, and this place was great! Thank you Nail Cops! We will be back when we are in town again!

Dont bother going here if youre not choosing gel nail polish. I just wanted a regular manicure, and they did a pretty lousy job because I didnt choose gel. they kept asking me why I didnt want gel (i told them I wanted to save $$) applied the nailpolish super thin, I could have done a better job at home.

The service was great. My nails are cute. I wanted the polish on my toes changed but it was $30 so I will wait, that seemed high just to change polish.

Very good experience, I called a couple minutes before closing and they got me in very fast. Kim did an excellent job and the price was very reasonable for downtown. The only downside is the cleaning. I’m not sure if it was because I came in by the end of the day but the floor was nasty and all the trash cans were full. The small desk they use to do manicure seemed like they haven’t got any cleaning in a while. I wish I could give them a 5 starts.

Love Nail Cops!Ive been here more times than I can count. They always do a good job. Their pricing is great. Friendly environment. They have runway fashion shows on the TV which is so much enjoyable to watch than trashy daytime TV or the news.I got my nails done somewhere else and it made me miss Nail Cops so much! Never cheating on them again!

Best nail place Ive ever been to and Ive tried all over the metro. The staff are very friendly and try hard to make you happy. Their selection is larger than most and they even have color changing gel! I love the staff and wont be going anywhere else.

My husband and I went there for a pedicure for the first time yesterday. We both had a great experience and my gel pedicure turned out great. My husband loved their customer service, ambience and their work. The 2 ladies that did our pedicures were super sweet. My husband was suggested to get a Sea Salt pedicure to remove dry skin and it worked great on his feet. I got the classic pedicure with gel nail polish and love the results. We would absolutely go back and recommend this place to others.

This place is great!! My sister-in-law and I dropped in for both pedis and manis and they got us right in and did an excellent job!!! If I ever come back to Minneapolis, I will definitely go back here. We got there just in time as there were many walk-ins after we arrived. Very very pleased with their work!!!

I love my nails. Nail Cops does an excellent job. I have had my nails done several times by them. My favorite so far is the glow in the dark acrylic.

I’m a Flight Attendant, quick visit to MSP and needed a “full in” and gel polish. The salon was busy. I waited 15 minutes, then enjoyed professional and friendly service. Kim did an exceptionally good job....I’ve been having my fake nails done routinely for 10 years. I definitely recommend them!

I’m seeing a few reviews regarding technique with more trendy styles, but with a little feed back from me and going over the reference photos a few times, I got a beautiful ballet shape. Try speaking up during your appointments, they’re more than willing to work for you and the pricing is more than fair.

I got there just at the beginning of the lunch rush and they got me in right away. Did a fast and very professional job with my gels.

I stopped in at Nail Cops after six pm on a Tuesday. I’m in a wedding next week, out of the country, and I’ve been putting off a pedicure because I was embarrassed about my feet and now I’m running out of time to schedule anything. A coworker of mine had mentioned going to Nail Cops when she was in a wedding. It’s close to where I live and work and they take walk-ins. I did not call ahead, and it was busy, but I was still able to get in immediately. The technician was professional and didn’t make me feel embarrassed about my gross feet or being ticklish, all the instruments were clean and in newly opened packages, and overall I was very satisfied. It was quick, convenient, and I’m happy with my pedicure. I’ll come back.

Worst experience I’ve ever had. The gel destroyed my nails, went back to have it removed and after I told them how it damaged my nails and they clearly saw it for themselves, I still paid to have it removed. It’s been 2 almost 3 months since and my nails haven’t fully recovered from that.

My nails are holding up well 11 days later. One thing to know is you can pay with card but they wont accept tip on the card, they only want cash and if you arent carrying any they get upset.

This was the worst no-chip manicure I have ever had. The customer service was awful. When I arrived they had over booked appointments. Luckily the other lady was nice enough to let me go. (I was on my lunch hour) The manicure only took 20min..That explains the poor quality. I asked to have my nails trimmed down. They used an awful filing board and tore my nail apart. No nail clippers used.The shape of my nails were uneven. I also ended up with excess nail polish outside my nails. Other than being close to the office this was an awful experience. I will walk the extra block next time.

Priced decent. But I had an appointment and they didnt get to me until 30 minutes after my appointment time, and my nail was chipped. I was told it is because of the product.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Went in yesterday and spent over an hour there getting a dip manicure for $50. Went home and realized my nails glow in the dark. I picked the only nude color they had in dip (not an intentional glow in the dark color). I went in just now for another hour to get get them removed and they told me I would not be able to get my money back but could come in AGAIN for a THIRD time to get them done. They have 1 nude dip polish color so no I would not like to come back and get the glow in the dark color again. While getting them removed one of the women simply handed me the phone to speak with the owner Tom, who stated that it’s not in their policy to provide refunds for a service. This said policy that is not posted anywhere in the salon or formalized in any way. “Products you can return if not happy, services you cannot”. I sell services for a living and if someone isn’t happy I can issue a refund so actually yes you can. Not only was I not happy with the service I received but how my entire situation was handled by the owner.
