I am happy with their service. They were organized, helpful, professional, efficient, friendly, and fast service at an affordable price. It was my first time using a company that offers motor vehicle tag and registration services, and I was in and out within 25-30 minutes. I will use Tropical Auto Tag again in the future and recommend them to anyone who needs their services.

This place just sucks. Every time I have come here, they just throw more roadblocks at me, and even when you ask the folks that work there exactly what paperwork you need to approve when I come back, they still reject it and point fingers at each other. I took the exact same paperwork to Miami-Dade tax collector and they approved it within minutes. I like the place because its close to where I live, but end of day you may save more time by driving to Miami-Dade tax collector, or my favorite tag agency Sunniland.

Came in to request a title for my car which was never released to me. The Cuban lady with a blonde ponytail was extremely rude . She wouldn’t let me finish a sentence and kept speaking over me. The customer service here is terrible I would go somewhere else .

Unbelievably organized very fast and friendly service

Arrived today for a Handicap placard for my daughter. The clerk with the dark blond ponytail told me I first needed a Florida ID card for my child. I found it odd since every other tag agency I’d contacted only requested the signed paperwork along with my child’s birth certificate (since parents are the legal guardians, ID cards for toddlers aren’t necessary). When I tried to explain this, the clerk started to get louder and louder and finally told me: “Then go to ANOTHER tag agency then”. I finally had to ask her, “Are you okay? You really seem angry...” to which she casually laughed and replied, “No...that’s just the way I am.”Word of advice: Then CHANGE how you are, then. This is still a place of business and customer service means a lot. Save yourself the trouble, patrons, and go to Sunniland agency. They’re much kinder there.

Service was great. Recommend to go early in at morning. I had no issues obtaining new license plates and title transfer. Had trouble paying with an international debit card. Also they dont take credit cards said as per the lady at front desk. Just in case, be sure to have a valid US bank debit card or cash.

I visited this place 5 times in 1 day and each time I came, they told me I needed something different, making it impossible to be attended. Even while attended, these ladies were on the phone talking to their doctor, and the other was painting her nails. The owner was no where to be found. I took my business elsewhere and they confirmed that this location does everything in their power to avoid walk ins, this is proven by previous customers. Please avoid this place at all costs.

If you want to have a poor/unprofessional experience at a tag agency you should definitely come here.I came here to get a disability parking permit since I just got operated and have a difficult time walking long distances. I brought the form directly from my doctors office with his signature, and the ladies in the front didn’t want to help me and kept saying the signature was a copy when in fact it was not a copy since I saw the doctor sign it in front of me.I even called my doctors office to let the ladies know if they needed any further confirmation that the signature was in fact real. The ladies treated me very rude and didn’t want to help and told me I should go to another office in downtown.Very unprofessional. I then proceeded to go to another tag agency near by and they were able to help me without a problem. This was a very unpleasant experience for me and I will never come here again!

This place may be fine for a resident who has an ordinary requirement, but that is as far as I would trust them. I am an out of state resident and active military and they knew nothing of the Florida DMV regulations pertaining to my situation. The woman I spoke with told me I had to re-title my vehicle in Florida in order to register it here. That was incorrect. She supposedly confirmed this with her manager. Either they are ignorant to the regulations or they were trying to scam me, either way I took my business elsewhere. I recommend you do the same. I actually ended up at Bird Road Auto Tag Agency, and while the woman assisting me wasnt familiar either with processing out of state military, she was at least nice and willing to help. Also, their owner did know the regulations and in the end I walked out with new registration, tags, and did not have to re-title my car in Florida. I also applaud them for practicing good measures against COVID-19, which Tropical Auto Tag was pretty bad at.

I was going to seek a replacement for a never received tag renewal in the mail purchased through the internet, but decided to go to recommended local tag agency. I am glad i did go to the agency because of the excellent customer service experience i received. Working in the hospitality industry one is more aware of the service one receives. While waiting in line before opening, to my surprise each employee team memeber entering the agency would say good morning. Then the manager came outside and handed out ticket numbers to groups of five, as that is all that was permitted to be inside due to covid 19 guidelines. We were also instructed to please use the hand sanitizer upon entering. The team member, Celeste, that handled our case was fast, courteous and efficient. We love the professional, service, and attitude of this agency and would highly recommend their services. Bring cash or debit cards, no credit cards accepted.

Avoid this location at any cost!!Rude personnel, we came in to ask two questions about the title and the plate of a car we recently purchased and we got treated in an unprofessional fashion, it seemed like the lady was clueless and anxious for her shift to end. Not the first time we came in there to end up being treated badly, but unfortunately this location is the one closest to home.As soon as we got out from there we went to Bird Road Auto Tag Agency and the personnel there answered our questions in a very satisfactory manner as they are supposed to do. Kudos to their professionalism.

SCAMER EMPLOYEES! I recently got a new debit card and this was the ONLY transaction I made on it, and a couple weeks or so afterwards, I got a confirmed fraudulent transaction placed with my debit card! (also having made no other transactions ever since!) Do not go here!For the employer, if they arent in on this: I made the purchase on September 22nd, at around 1 PM, the person at the counter that placed my card transaction if I remember correctly was a lady.

This was the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had at a tag agency. Not that they were overly nice, but they weren’t rude. In Miami, a tag agency that isn’t rude and incompetent is almost worthy of 5 stars. I was in and out within 45 minutes. Not bad! I would definitely recommend going to this tag agency if you have to go to one at all.

You will be called by the number you pull from the machine near the entry. Comfortable chairs provided, the air was cool and free from cigarette smoke. Around noon there was one service person but in 20 minutes another opened. The service went quickly once started and I left in 5 minutes. Parking is difficult in the very narrow spaces provided and handicap were not plentiful: here is tree shaded parking ideal for small vehicles.

I saw some real bad reviews here and I almost did not go but I had no choice since the tag agency in Miller square was closed. I have to admit it only took five minutes to get service and they all seem to be sweet and helpful. I just put a tag on my Ridgeline and I had a wonderful experience with this place. I am a business owner and care a lot about reviews but I know how some people could take it a bit too far with reviews. We are getting a bit spoiled. Thanks for a great service.

I had to leave the place the lady was very rude her name Janet. I don’t know where she got her disrespectful behavior but definitely not coming Back here anymore. I got my number went to buy something at the dollar store when I ask her my number passed she said well you need to get another number. Well you need to find a better job like a kitchen

It was my first time at this auto tag agency. I was greeted by a very nice lady named Nataly with a good morning and a smile. Her service was outstanding, fast and trustworthy. She knew what she was doing. I would highly encourage others to come and do his or her businesses transactions at this agency.

Natali is very knowledgeable, helpful and nice. She gave me great advice on why I should keep the sales receipt of a car I sold because the new owners hadnt registered it and it was technically still under my name.

I needed to get my car registered after recently moving to Miami from out of state. I found the people here to be friendly and helpful. Most importantly it was quick. It probably took maybe 15 minutes to get everything done. They dont take credit card, but do take debit card. A minor inconvenience though for how much time it saved me.

Went there to get my car’s replacement title, &When i got there, i was super lucky because i was the only one there, and there were no lines. I paid, signed, and recieved my copyWithin a few minutes. QUICKSERVICE. If you order from the dmv online, its a little less but takes weeks to deliver to your home, here is a bit more bucks, but they print it for you INSTANTLY. Money does truly buy stuff Lmao. 5 stars P.S. use cash, becauseUsing a credit card with a chip has like a 3% Fee.

Why would you instruct your customers to take a # and then ignore that system?!? Im sitting her with my # and the reps just keeping saying next customer, ignoring the ticket system. The minute I got up to say something, she tells me shes busy.Why 4 stars, usually empty and even with their neglect of the system...you will get in and out faster than most tag agencies.

Very rude. I went to the same desk clerk 3 times. first time was my fault, I didnt have my insurance paperwork. When I finally got it,.she said she couldnt read my insurance paperwork. So I had Geico send me a new one. Then she said she didnt want it the one that they sent because it had a mailing address of Georgia on it. This was Geico standard form with my full name, address, and car VIN number. and she would not accept it. Then she spoke to the girl next to her,in Spanis and said that I just dont know what Im doing. But I speak Spanish. Just so rude.

The woman refused to help me with a boat tittle the minute I said boat. She wouldnt even look at my documents and seemed lost. My brother was with me and tried to register his motorcycle. She said the bike had to be there although we had the title. The woman barely spoke English and seemed like she didnt want to work. I went to a second tag agency who quickly did exactly what I needed. My advice is to avoid this non productive tag agency.

Friendly and quick service! There was a small wait, but it wasnt the typical Miami-style wait that makes a Disney line seem fast in comparison. I waited about five minutes, got called, took care of business, and was on my way!One tip: try and bring cash. Their debit processing equipment was down and had been since Saturday. I am going to refer them to my friend who does merchant processing. Apparently they need him!

I inherited a car from my mother who passed away. Unfortunately, the title to the car is lost. I came to Tropical Auto Tag to get a new title with an order of assets disbursement signed by a circuit judge (order states: Im the son and estate representative and lists the car with vin as part of the inheritance), a original death certificate, and my ID, basically everything the state of Florida requires for a new title print. They told me that they choose not to do business with estates and their representatives because theyve been burned before by fraudsters. Thats like a bank not cashing checks anymore because someone once cashed a fake check. Every tag agency I called after was happy to help me but Tropical was the closest. The original person attending me passed me off to her manager for who I waited +10 minutes only for her to tell me that she is choosing not to service my request. Zero star service but 1 is the minimum. UPDATE: I got my Title at the very next place I went. Thank you Bird Road Auto Tag!!!

The service is horrible at this location Cary is beyond rude in the 30 mins I was there she had several arguments with customers myself included the customers were asking simple questions and not being nasty . It was my first time transferring a title and had I the worst experience. What happened to customer service. The manager allows her employee to be rude and treat customers with disrespect that is totally unacceptable. The behavior of the employee is a direct reflection of her manager. If you don’t have to go to this location go somewhere else.
