They were able to replace my throttle body for a lower price than other places. Also I loved being able to make an appointment online, saving me time and allowing me to better plan my day! I was referred to Geiling through an extended warranty program and got the most professional, courteous, and fast service. My issue could not be resolved when I called but they were kind enough to look at my car to make sure that it was safe to drive until I could get an appointment. I eventually came back for my appointment and was given a thorough explanation of the issue and the best course of action to take. I appreciate the patience and care shown. I ended up getting an oil change and will definitely go back for basic maintenance and to fix bigger issues, if need be. I would highly recommend Geiling and they have a customer in my for life!

We have used Geiling Auto Service for ALL our auto repairs on our 3 cars for 10-11 years & would not consider using another repair shop.They are experienced, highly rated, incredibly professional & above all, honest & trustworthy.I dont know how their price measures compared to others because after the first few successful repairs where others were unable to fix, I dont use or get a price from any others. I know theyll fix the problem, do it timely & its done!

They called with an estimate & I approved the repair. The final cost of the repair was actually less than originally quoted. How often does that happen? Ah.....never. They completed the work when promised. I am very satisfied.

My Pontiac Solstice needed a lot of work. The A/C Blower motor died, the check engine light came on, it began to bog down when I gave it gas, and I was very concerned. Worked with Renee there at Geilling and he kept me informed as we went through the process and fixed each piece using my priorities so I could control the cost by only fixing what was most important to me. I ended up getting it all fixed and I am elated with the performance increase. I had bought this car used so this is actually the first time I’ve seen all she was designed to do. Hats off y’all, color me impressed!

Great service. Didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need. They are very good and therefore are very busy but they squeezed me in and had my car fixed in a day. I do not live in New Orleans but would definitely use this shop regularly if I did.

I have max care and I know my car. I’ve been having my car for over a year now and it recently starting acting funny. I especially noticed it when I had just gotten an oil change during the storm I had to get another one. I then bough my car here through max car to help with the issue they told me I needed an oil change I said I just got one 3 weeks ago and before that 3 weeks ago I said please take a deeper look I know my car something is wrong 3 oils changes in 3 months that’s red flags. They all where so nonchalant didn’t care what I had to say which is bad considering the fact I just had surgery barley could talk. The next day I was driving my car and smelled burning rubber as I been smelling the past few months bough my car to the nearest Firestone and they told me I had a oil leak. Which then I had to spend more money. I don’t know if it was because I was a woman they didn’t care what I had to say or my skin color or they just flat out don’t care, but I spent money that was a waste never again.

I was referred to this service by my warranty they could get me in sooner than the dealership could. After 3 days of them having my car I finally got my car back and the issue was not addressed or resolved. I was able to drive my car to work but got stranded and had to call a tow truck. I called the dealership and was told that this was not the 1st complaint that they received about this particular business. I paid my deductible and for other services they charged me for not under my warranty. This would have been fine if my car was fixed correctly.I would not recommend or ever use this business again. I read the reviews prior to going there. Now my car is a the dealership fixing a secondary problem caused by them not properly doing what was supposed to be fixed here.I was also very unhappy about the way Rene talked to me, I just wanted to get my car back and get away from there.I have reported this to my warranty holder and reviewed on their website as well.

They called me back after looking at my 16 year old truck and explained that flushing the coolant system would likely cause connections and hosing which were only seeping to start leaking or worse creating a more costly repair. Very highly recommend Geiling Auto Service for their exceptional customer service - I have finally found my ‘go to’ repair shop for the first time in my fairly long life time.I had my alternator replaced by them in Feb of 2018 and in November - just before a planned Thanksgiving weekend road trip - the battery started acting up again. Used my other car for the trip but impending unexpected cost of repairs was nagging me throughout.Came back and had the vehicle towed to Geiling and spoke to Steve who looked up his records and informed me the alternator was still under warranty. That made me feel much better. They finished finished the job promptly the next day but what blew me away was that they said there was no charge at all. I was expecting to pay for the labor and time and it bothered me a little that it would be due to a part that failed while under warranty.Completely blown away when Steve said there was no charge at all. To me, that indicates honest, integrity, pride in their trade and a willingness to stand by their work. It inspires confidence for me as a customer to always use their services and to recommend them highly to my friend’s and neighbors - which I did right away. I dont do this often but This is an absolute necessity. The guys at Geiling crew had an opportunity to take a look at my sons car that was experiencinga terrible knocking sound that I and 2 other people(1 being a lic mechanic) were sure it had a bad rod or piston in the engine. Considering I know nothing about cars, my son does not know engines, I live 35 miles away, these guys could have robbed us blind. Instead, they evaluated and informed me that all it needed was a simple oil change. So, obviously going forward these guys will always work on my sons car but more importantly, you can trust these guys and their knowledge. Thanks for being the good guys, we need more like them

Took my 2006 Jeep Wrangler in for break failure, and after the installation of a new Master Cylinder, they let me know I had another issue with my engine not firing correctly. Brought it back the next week and by the end of the day, it was driving like a new Jeep. Great work, fast turn around, and warranty for 2 years. Highly recommend Geiling for great auto work!

This repair shop is not cheap, but that’s because they know that they are going to fix your car without hidden costs. I’m verrrrrry particular as to my mechanics, I am able to do the majority of repairs my self so when I go to a mechanic it’s for some serious problems, and they do a fantastic job.If you can find a cheaper mechanic, be wary, because they’ll get you in the back end with new problems or whatever. If you want your car fixed, then their quoted price is the price. I like them for that, and they know what they’re doing.

We thought we had one problem (very pricey!) and they found that it was something simple (and affordable!) Dont find that very often, if ever. Kudos to Geiling!

After moving to New Orleans, my license plate needed to be changed. However, one of the screws was not coming out of the holder when I tried to change it myself. Despite being completely booked for the day for other repairs, they took the time to break from another project, saw if my license could be changed out that day, and then quickly and efficiently changed out the plate. They did not even charge me for the service, determining that the work was not sufficient enough to require a charge.This is the first shop Ive visited in New Orleans, but theyll have my households business as long as we live here.
