I was told everything was good a lawyer was handling everything and would be reaching out to me soon, 2 months later no word from this lawyer and I can never get anyone on the phone or to return my numerous voicemails I’ve been calling for over a month straight and only get their answering machine

Very useful but needs to be more user friendly.

I held on the phone for two hours and no one answered. After being on hold for the two house some law firm came on the phone saying ask your question but you have to pay five dollars before they get back to you for a answer.Imagine that!

I received help from these guys for domestic abuse and getting a restraining order in place. They were understanding and informative! Daniel who works with them was on my case and so helpful and went above and beyond to help. Thank you guys so much I would have been in a bad place without it!

Didnt want to hear all the info. Was more concerned about me filing an appeal on time and they said I didnt yet I did. Oh, btw I won my case without their help.

Couldnt get through to talk to anyone for the 3rd time calling..and still cant contact anyone

December 20, 2019 around 845am, I faxed important documents which were requested by Patrick who also works with Legal Aid of NC. I received a call from Jim no longer than than a couple hours of faxing my documents. He explained what to do next, etc., I was quite happy with the professional response and the immediate feedback.Jim took his time explaining what the letter meant, and how I should go about to responding to it. He was terrific! Not only professional, but kind and caring. He took his time with me. That goes a long way. Thanks Jim!

Ive tried to call them multiple times over the past week or so DURING WORKING HOURS, with no response whatsoever. How long are they going to have these Technical difficulties? I need help NOW.

Im approved an they tell me lawyer going to call me an I never get a call nor can I get back in touch if u get them to answer its almost the feeling of winning lottery

Took awhile to contract cause covid, alot of workers are working from home now so once got somebody on phone was good but that took a couple days

Very friendly and helpful staff over the phone however I have a custody case in Im on a fixed incomeso no other attorneys will help me and I really need someone to it just hurts that Im not the one thats in the wrong and Im being sued and my child is being held hostage. I really hope another attorney mate see this and give me a shot. Otherwise Im going to handle this all by myselfits still good that legal aid is there to call and theyre helpful with things but just not with this thing not yet at least if they do happen to become that way Ill come back and fix my review. 👀

I contacted Legal Aid Winston-Salem via email as i was facing unfair eviction...from my home of 9 years. I received very sincere expression of concern and absolute understanding of urgency of my situation.I learned that all requests must go through Legal Aid Raleigh...So i contacted them.I never met either offices, and ultimately i determined it was a battle i was not going to win...and left my home...All this to say...though the process of getting through to Raleigh office requires patience.. hold on phone 15-45 minutes, not because they are slack, but because they are doing their absolute best to serve those of us in need!I 100% recommend you contact them if you need real talk Legal advice!
