They do great taking walk-ins and are open late. Good prices and high-quality service. Sadly after 4 times Getting my nails done I will not be returning. Young nail tech is so miserable and unfriendly I can’t help but take it personally.

I got gel nails from this place and they came off about a week later. There were also lots of bubbles and dirt in the nails once they were done. I would not go again.

Linda is the best. She always does a fantastic job. She is funny, supportive and kind. My birthday is tomorrow and she added a design to my toes at no additional fee. I have been going to her a long time. I always have excellent service!

I got a full set from Donna today and she did an AMAZING job!! Shes quiet and focused. She told me the nail shape I wanted would be ok but she recommended a shape that would make my fingers look longer and slimmer, exactly what I needed for my short fingers. She was incredibly thorough about making sure my nails where straight and the same lengths. I appreciate her hard work!

They do a beautiful job! I walked in after seeing their sign. All I had the money for at the time was their basic full set. They took their time and explained their pricing as we went. They warned me ahead of time that they had an appointment coming in, and that they may stop part of the way through to get them started. I was fine with this, and the break was just long enough for me to get a good look at colors. I am blown the quality of my acrylic set! I will come be coming back, and for fancier nails!

First time I have been here, it was quiet compared to other local nail parlors but that was my good luck. The leg and foot massage was excellent and the woman who did my pedicure was very nice, paid great attention to detail, and I felt very pampered. I think it was Linda, from seeing other reviews. She more than makes up for her daughter’s less than friendly welcome on the way in which almost sent me packing. I’m glad I didn’t!

They’re all great at what they do. I always have Donna do my nails and I’m never disappointed. The atmosphere is very quiet which makes it so much better than other salons I’ve been to. Great people and I won’t ever go anywhere else!❤️

I have been going to #1 Nails for over 2 years now and I cannot find a reason to leave it. Linda has amazing customer service. She is always greeting her clients with the brightest smile. I always get my gel pedicures done with Linda, and I have never been disappointed in the quality of her work. My gel polish always last beyond 3 weeks without a single damage. Absolutely recommend this place. And LINDA!!

My first visit and Linda did a wonderful job on my nails. Her daughter is less than friendly, but Lindas sweetness and hard work makes up for it. She took great care and attention to my nails.

Linda and Donna are awesome! They do a great job and they take their time to ensure the quality of your nails are done right! Highly suggest making an appointment since most of the time its just the two of them. Nail places can get busy, so if you just walk in, expect to wait because you cant rush perfection.

My girlfriend and I started getting our nails done for about 2 months now. We went to several nail places before we came to Donna. At one nail place of ours, we got judged a lot for being a gay couple. My girlfriend and I noticed how the people there would point and look at us while they were whispering to each other. We both felt uncomfortable, and so we left. We drove around the streets of Meridian, and found #1 Nails. We came in 20 minutes before they closed, but Donna was extremely nice and accepted us. My girlfriend and I got a fill that day, and couldnt be more happy with Donnas work. Donna and her mother was both warm and welcoming towards the 2 of us. When the service was completed, my girlfriend and I looked at each other and nodded. Both of us knew that we definitely found our nail place.

Linda is fantastic- very friendly and meticulous. Her daughter is another story. Extremely rude. When you call for an appointment she is dishonest about times and how busy they are. Linda appreciate the business, her daughter would rather sit in the back office and let Linda do all of the work.

Great salon! Went to get my acrylics taken off and the young girl working suggested I get a gel manicure to help with how thin my nails were from removing the acrylics. The girl was very nice, and made the experience comfortable. I would recommend this salon!

PHENOMENAL!!! Absolutely the best! Ive been coming here for about a year now, and has never left disappointed. Donna is a perfectionist at acrylic nails. Ive tried all shapes of nails with her, and theyve all came out flawless! The new staff that works here is not only friendly with good customer service, but the also take there time on you:) Highly recommended:)

Never got a choice in nail shape, super square and super thick. was not flattering to my nails. i always take my nails off by soaking them in acetone and it only took the nail polish off. the acrylics underneath didn’t come off whatsoever and they should come off easily. these are cheap, not quality acrylics. i was coming for a full set, knowing it was $25 but it ended up being $35. not impressed.

For the love of God if you value your nails do not go here. I have been getting acrylics for years (I know what should and should not break a nail) I got a set from them a week ago now and 6 of them have broken. Ive already gone in twice for repairs but Ive had a repaired nail crack again already. They obviously dont know how to apply the acrylic thick enough to keep it from breaking at the slightest pressure.Its such a shame too because the shape really was fantastic.

Worst experience in my life . Was told as window shown full set of acrylics $25. Was told that they had to be short . Wanted medium was told that was $30. Was expecting the full set for $25. I was told over phone medium was included in the $25. Full set. A younger girl was doing my daughters nails she was very rude pushing my daughter arm away would not talk. The older lady messed up on the full set and polish. The younger girl said I had to high of expectations . I mentioned this is a professional salon so I wanted them to be professional. I asked who I could contact regarding the service the young girl said she was the owner. Then started to fix my nails and started pushing my hands away the same way she was doing to my daughter. Will never go back worst nail salon ever. Horrible customer zervice

I really liked the daughter. I wanted my nails to match a dress I had and she did amazing. And made sure the nails will look good with any outfit. I keep them on as long as I could and was super sad when I had to take them off. The quality was awesome to they didnt chip or come off my nail.*added*I just went there again the other and I still love it. They always do really nice on your nails no bubbles in the polish and there never super thick. This is the best place around I recommend to everyone.

I have been going to Lynn since 1998 she is amazing, she is the best nail tech ever. she has done amazing designs on my nails and pink n whites. she has new cool ideas that she does on my nails. i totally love this place and do not plan on changing

Went in to get my nails done and the gal who was doing mine had to have her daughter translate every thing i was trying to tell her. There was glue all over my hands by the time she finished and i sat for almost a whole ten minutes under the UV light with both hands trying to dry the gel top, but Id had enough, they werent completely dry after ten min either. overall, i would never go here again

Was left mid job so they could work on someone that walked in AFTER me for 30 minutes. Then I got up and left. They just want your money.

I love this nail salon!! I cant emphasize enough how much other salons dont care how your nails will look in the end and hurry just to get the job done. I wont go anywhere else. Donna does my nails almost all the time. This is the only salon I trust to get my nails done. Ive gone to many other places in Nampa because I live in Nampa, but I will come all the way out to Meridian just for their service. They actually care about you and they care what the finished outcome looks like! And they are always so kind and friendly!! I will not go back! The daughter is unfriendly, makes rude comments and easily irritated. The dad started my nails and said his daughter would do them better and called her on the phone to come help him. She was rude said he doesnt know what he is doing and was short and rude to me, then tried to over charge me by 10 dollars because she choose to use gel....not me and because I have big nail beds....nothing was talked about prior to service . I gave not tip and I will never go back.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I was recently in the hospital because I got sick and gained some weight. I went to this salon last week because I had some coupons and I needed a pedicure, nails and wax and needed to feel good. When I walked in the owner didnt say hi and just said in front of everyone oh my, your neck came through the door before your face. I was so shocked, I laughed as the other customers looked on in horror. They said they wouldnt honor my coupons that were valid. Two of the ladies that worked there were arguing and yelling over who is going to do the work on me. They didnt say thank you. I told my sister about the place and she went there before I told her of my embarrassing experience and she said she turned around and just walked out because they were so rude. Now...I am not a confrontational person so I was in a difficult situation. So, now that I have cooled off, I thought that I would put my experience on here. It was awful awful awful. I felt abused by strangers.

Oh my.... This was not the relaxing trip to the salon that Id been hoping for. It was so far from relaxing, it was painful. Literally. First of all. let me preface by saying that I love to get my nails done, and Im super easy to please. This however was not my day. I went with two friends, we were each getting full sets for the holidays. We all arrived and sat down at the same time. They were both done within an hour and 45 mins. The older woman who did my nails took nearly 4 hours. And my friends had even made special requests from Pinterest. More problems. There are no 2 nails that are either the same width of length on either hand. These nails are wide, flat and hideous. She sanded the skin right off 4 fingers, in a futile attempt to make them match. It didnt work. The sign in their window says We specialize in pink and whites. If thats the case. they may need to look for a new specialty. The ONLY special request that I made was that instead of pink. I wanted glitter for the holiday. I had to point to my finger nail where I wanted the glitter. The older woman doing my nails, kept forgetting to turn on the light to cure the gel, so all of the silver glitter bled into the white tips and now it looks like dirt. Embedded dirt. Then, just to make sure the suffering wasnt over, she wiped alcohol over my bleeding cuticles. Lastly, to add insult to injury, I was charged $8.00 more for my nails that are as square and thick as shoeboxes, than my friend paid for her Pinterest gel artwork on every finger.I forgot to mention that it took me over an hour to chew off all the excess glue and glitter from my skin once I had got home.Spare yourself the frustration. Go anywhere else.

Nails are always great

I just had a french gel polish with a young girl wearing a Cali sweatshirt. She seemed nice at first but she was easily annoyed and irritated. I asked for thin tips and she tried to guilt me into getting thicker nails by asking Do you get your nails done much, because the trend is going thicker. I told her I dont follow trends. She seemed annoyed that I asked her to go thinner on tips and when one of her co-workers sat next to her she seemed to complain about having to keep going thinner on my nails and the co-worker looked at me as soon as she told her something. Even though she seemed annoyed I tipped her 25%, but I noted on my way to the car, she and the nail tech were staring at me judgmentally. It was unpleasant all around.

Got a gel pedicure and was disappointed with the work. Polish is done sloppy does not look good at all. So disappointing.

If ur going to get ur nails done for a special ocasion, you need to go in and get them done by lynn! she does a very great job she also hands free paint. lynn is the best at gels!
