This is one of the most devoted and caring vet clinics we have used. They consistently go above and beyond to make sure your pet is asking well. We have 2 senior dogs and I like that they are thorough with their checkups, exams, and procedures.

I have been thrilled with the service and care Brekke has given to my ragdoll cats and kittens. I am a ragdoll breeder and I love how thorough the kitten exams are. I feel confident handing off my kittens knowing they are healthy and well. I also love the clear concise report they hand me on each kitten. not some chicken scratch notes from the vet that I have to spend time trying to decipher with the front receptionist. It makes me look professional having a nice clear thorough report to hand to my customers. It builds their confidence in the Kitten and in me as a breeder. I refer all my clients to Brekke and have had positive feedback from every one of them who have taken their babies to Brekke. I get asked all the time what vet they should use and before I started going to Brekke I would say, Honestly Ive tried about five and I havent found a solid vet, if you find a good one let me know. AVOID THIS CLINIC!!! I took my two dogs to Brekke twice upon moving to Castle Rock. . The first time I asked why the prices for same services were so much higher than in Boulder. Michelle told me “ Because you are in Castle Rock”. I have never heard of ZIP Code price gouging. Then, they recommended surgery for one dog and an expensive treatment for the other. Both dogs are three years old. I then went to two other vets and both independently concurred that neither of my dogs needed the procedures that Brekke had told me were needed. I would highly recommend that you pass this vet clinic by and go to someone else. In 40 years of dog ownership I have never see such a thing.

The whole team at Brekke is amazing! My dog can be difficult and they never make me feel bad, theyre always positive, and handle my dog so well. I appreciate their patience so much. I completely trust what they tell me without pushing products. They just truly care and you can tell.

My dog Missi messed up her mouth and required surgery. They did a wonderful job on her teeth and included a free nail trim. Doctor Jackie called me throughout the day to update me, which was very welcome considering the risk of anesthesia for a senior dog. They returned my pup happy and with evidence of lots of scratches and love. The price quote was reasonable and the actual cost was beyond agreeable. Doctor Jackie and her team reached out after to check on the recovery too. They provided me with a binder of the operation with photos and instructions for care.Great service, amazing professionalism, accurate pricing. Couldn’t be happier. I will go to Brekke from now on.

I have been in Castle Rock for over thirty years and have been to a lot of veterinary clinics. These people took time to listen to our concerns. Went above and beyond to treat my dog and helped us make the hard decision and came with warm caring hearts to our home to put Sam to sleep on a Friday night. They followed up with a email and all the x-rays that evening. I thought that was it. Monday afternoon I got a knock on my door and a man was holding a beautiful arrangement of flowers. I thought they were for my wife from a family member but you cared enough to send them. We cried and said that is so awesome.

If I could give 10-stars, I would. Jay and his staff are so incredibly compassionate and exceptional at everything they do. My family, unfortunately, had to put our old dog to sleep, and Jay and his vet assistant were god-send. We could not have gotten through the experience if Jay hadnt personally given his attention and care to our dog, as if he were a part of our family himself. Even though this is a known occurrence with dog ownership, it doesnt make the reality any easier to handle. But because of Jay and the Brekke Clinic, we cannot imagine going to any other vet, ever. For the Brekke Clinic, it is very clear that it is not about the money, rather, its about the compassion and care for the animal, which we appreciate, compared to other vets out there. I visited this clinic with my two boxer dogs yesterday. I was very impressed with the customer service, office, location, and most importantly, the doctor. I felt he was honest, and truly listened to my concerns regarding both of my dogs. I’ve been looking for a ‘home’ veterinarian for quite some time, and thankfully, I think I’ve found it. I highly recommend this clinic for your pets. I believe most office visits are around $65, and a well visit here is only $55. Honestly, even though it was only $10, it was worth giving it a try. I’m so glad I did. Office visits add up, and I appreciate the small discount. Also, they are one of the only veterinarians that offer the rattlesnake booster shots. They are a full-service clinic. We will be back for hopefully just wellness visits in the future. Natalie

I wanted to make a huge shout out to Dr Jay and his team at Brekke Veterinary Clinic. We unfortunately had to euthanize our dog on Tuesday and I cannot tell you how compassionate everyone there is. Today we received a hand delivered sympathy card and flowers from the clinic and I truly appreciate this final display of personalized customer service. I also must say their prices are fair, it is never hard to book an appointment, Dr. Jay always offered plenty of time to answer any of our questions, and we never were pressured into adding on a bunch of unnecessary services or medications as a lot of other vets have in the past have done. Dr Jay will definitely have our business again when we decide we are ready for another dog, he truly loves animals!

Dr. Jay is amazing. Not only is he a experienced doctor who takes great care of our pets, but he also takes a moment to listen and treat you with a nice bedside manner as a worried pet parent. The clinic is modern and inviting (a spa for the pet) and it is open Saturday. Strongly recommend for quality care. The doctor also is very appropriate and fair in billing, only recommending and charging for needed services.

Just finished taking my 22 pound Cockapoo, Bilbo to Doctor Brekke and his staff. If I could rate them higher than 5 stars, I would. Super friendly, very knowledgeable, clean office, fast service...and Bilbo just loves going to see Dr. Brekke. I highly recommend Brekke Veterinary Clinic!

Dr. Brekke is the best vet ever. He treats your pets as his own and is very kind to every animal. We had just rescued our dog from New Mexico and the rescue had partnered with his office for discounted initial visits. Our pup was very scared of humans as she had been abused by her previous owners. He was very gentle with her and didnt push us to give her any sedatives. We loved him so much we started bringing our other dog and two cats to him. He also has great resources for training and other services for dogs. STRONGLY RECOMMEND!

We have been taking our two pups there since we moved from Louisiana. They are like 5 minutes away from our home and both our dogs, surprisingly, love going to the get. They have great service and are always patient with our four legged babies.

You will be hard pressed to find a more caring, personal vet for your pet than Dr. Jay. After my dogs surgery, they called with updates, sent photos and Dr. Jay called personally to follow up and see how he was progressing. He even took it upon himself to further research a problem that I mentioned about the dog. The care and follow-up are first rate, the rates are very reasonable and the clinic is beautiful. The staff is fantastic as well. Do yourself a favor and switch to Brekke - you will not look back.

This office is absolutely fantastic! Great doctor and team. They always get my in in a timely manner and theyre great with my teacup chihuahua who has quite a few health issues. I would highly recommend them.

Very disappointed. During one of the most difficult times in my life was left to feel like it was all about the money. Not as much compassion as I had expected during this horrible time. I hope no one else has to experience this.

We adopted our Dog from PawsCo and this was the clinic already treating him for heart worm. As this clinic is approx 45 mins from my home- it was my full intent to find a closer clinic after completion of his treatment. That will not be happening. They will remain his care providers for the long term. They are all quite amazing with him and the communication is immediate and thorough. I feel lucky to have such a great staff and Vet to care for my dog and really appreciate them.
