This is a great place to get gel nails done. They are professional and very sweet. They try to accommodate you the minute you walk in. It is a tad bit more money wise but worth it to have professionalism they have.

Visiting from out of town, took advantage of a great pedicure with massage. Friendly and efficient staff. Enjoyed my visit.

Always have the best pedicures. They always push for you to lay back, relax and enjoy it, which I appreciate. Ive never felt like the pedicure is rushed. The manicures could be alot better. I do feel they rush through those.

My regular nail salon just closed down so I’ve been looking for a new place that wouldn’t make my already thin nails worse off. Nana did my manicure and pedicure and was so gentle with my nails. She did a lovely natural look and made this a great experience. I will definitely be a regular here.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. This was THE WORST experience I have ever had while getting my nails done. My nails look like garbage. The nail tech was rude. I was yelled at when I asked her to file my nails down more and make them even on both hands. They were so uneven and misshaped I had to file them myself afterwards. She clearly rushed through the process or just didnt know what she was doing (see pictures). She rubbed lotion all over my hands and arms without cleaning off the dip powder so my skin was glittery and tinted orange. All of my nails are different lengths and the surface of the nails are uneven (?? didnt even know this could happen; see pictures). I will not be ever going back, and I would advise anyone considering getting their nails done here to go somewhere, anywhere else! The work was trash. The service was trash. The whole experience was absolute trash! You couldnt pay me to go back here.

I used to go to Spa Nails throughout hs and college. I decided to revisit after 9 years due to a few events over the weekend. The customer service and visit was still great like I remembered. However my gel polish started clipping within 1 day and by day 6 most of them were chipped. The biggest disappointment is the aching of my thumb. I thought it was due to a really good trim of the cuticle. But no, now it is dark purple and still sore, so its probably infected. I hate this happened because I really enjoyed the experience.

I live within walking distance and can’t believe I’ve waited this long to walk in. Very professional and clean. My technician, Nguyen was very sweet. I’ll definitely come back. Thank you!

I politely asked the head nail tech if she could look at a picture of the color that I was looking for. She shouted at me saying that she does not pick color and doesn’t have time to help me . She then turned her back away after throwing the color pallet by me. I made sure to let her know that this was not nice nor was it professional. I used to go to this place but will not anymore.

The pedicure was fine but I had to wait almost one hour (about 50 minutes) before getting taken back. There were at least 3 people who came after me and got done before me somehow.

I have to have my nails repainted on tomorrow. I’m unsatisfied with the service. Poor experience. Poor polish job. Lines in polish looks unprofessional. She was too interested in my jewelry, and how nice my husband was rather than polishing my nails correctly. This wasn’t worth the 140+ + tip that my husband left behind. This is an only for emergencies nail salon. Poor communication! Poor Service! I wish I could leave 0, zilch, no stars at all!

We were able to get right in for two pedicures. The spa is clean and doesnt break of chemicals like some do. The staff was very friendly and gave GREAT pedicures! The price is right as well. We will definitely be going back again. Totally happy with our experience. Thanks so much ladies for making my friends first pedicure in 20 years so wonderful. She needed some self care and this is exactly what she needed!

First everyone greeted me when I walked through the door which was a plus in my book..It’s a Sunday and lady knows how difficult it is to find an open nail salon on Sundays..right?? The salon I normally use are only taking appointments due to COVID and my back up nail salon told me they could service me in an hour but blew me off and got an attitude when I returned in an hour to be serviced...Well I decided to use Yelp and find me a NEW spot and glad I did..see what business owners don’t realize is we are the consumers and without us you wouldn’t be in business there are 2-3 nail shops within miles of each other..and when I sat down at Spa Nails they showed how valuable my patronage is to them..not just because I was greeted but because she took time to explain the services and what would be beneficial for my nails and I knew I wanted grey on my hands and toes but she took the time to help me choose the shade that complimented my skin tone(never had that happen before, typically you’re rushed to choose a color)...she talked me through..and I might add she did the thang with my nails and toes...fabulous and flawless..very attentive, precise and just awesome quality work...this is my NEW spot no back ups needed!!

I go here because it’s closest to home. Your nail technician will either be very skilled or terrible- there is no in between. I either love or absolutely hate my nails. Unfortunately my most recent trip there (less than a week ago) was one where I did not leave happy. The woman who did my nails barely spoke English, which is important because she couldn’t communicate with me. I couldn’t tell her what she was doing wrong. I left with nail polish all around my toes on my skin, and she painted the nail polish so far away from my cuticle that it looks like I’ve had it on for two weeks and it’s grown out. Another thing is, the prices always change (go up) based on what the owner is feeling that day. They only just recently put up an actual price board (but it’s in chalk- it will probably continue to change daily). Before then, I was told three different prices on three different visits for the same service. Something doesn’t add up. Also- they won’t let you request a nail tech, and they don’t take appointments. You get whoever is available first. Not being able to request your favorite nail tech means you go in and pray you get someone good.

Ive been wearing solar/pink and white nails for over 8+ years and have NEVER experienced them popping off, especially in 2 weeks of getting them done. I paid $60 (which Ive NEVER had to pay that much in the 8+ years of getting them.) I went to spa nails for the first time because its closer to where I live now and I must say one and done!!! 2 nails popped off, they didnt look like pink and white solar nails, they were FAT tips and no matter how much I didnt like them he saw nothing wrong. He was really quick doing my nails and Ive not ever had anyone do them so quickly. Solar nails are time consuming and last about 6-8 weeks before a refill is needed. Ive ALWAYS had to soak my solar nails off but nope not this time because they just popped right off!!!! Livid is an understatement!!!!!

Post Rona Update: the Salon has updated the inside and it still looks lovely! They have added Rona safety procedures to follow CDC guidelines.Love this place! Read the reviews online before going and Ive been back twice since with excellent service each time. Follow the online guide as to what are the best times to go and you will be in and out of there in no time! Ive started getting shellac on my nails again this place does it so well I am able to go almost 3 full weeks without it chipping or coming off my nails; plus they take the shellac off without damaging my nails.

Went here for the first time since moving to Midtown a couple weeks ago. Awesome experience! Went early in the morning and got seated right away. Got a manicure & pedicure. The young woman who helped me was so great - very quick and precise, warm and friendly, and really made me feel welcomed and well taken care of. If you get a pedicure - spend the extra $10 and get the extra oils and massage, you wont be disappointed! Loved the nail color selection, too! Cant wait to go back again!

I gave them a three because they are extremely to expensive!!! But my nails are beautiful and my feet are as well... The staff are extra nice and they did not have me in there all day!! But the I got a dip powder manicure and I got a pedicure... That came to a hundred dollars... I was appalled by the price!! But I do admit I was satisfied with the service all around... I just cant afford that much money every two weeks... Ill just go back to my old nail shop...

Today was my first time visiting. I ran in on my lunch break, to get a manicure and gel polish. I didnt get the chance to catch the name of the tech that did my services. She did an awesome job. I will most definitely go back again.

The pedicure was done well. However, the manager on duty ABSOLUTELY NEVER wants to wash her hands b4 waxing my face. I watched her clean the place, handle money, empty the trash, use cleaning supplies. I ALWAYS have to ask her to wash her hands. As a customer, I do not like having to remind any technician to wash their hands. This has happened the last 3-4 times that I was there. She knows me by face. I frequent the establishment. She knows that I always ask her to wash her hands. I have really sensitive skin. Also, when customers get facial waxing, the cloth where they lay their heads is unsanitary. I usually get 4 napkins from the restroom and lay them down. They never cover the place where you lay your head. You know how many ladies lay their heads there? Needless to say, I told them that Id NEVER return. Ive given them more than enough time to get it right. OAN, I still tipped my nail tech. And reminded her that she under charged me by $5.00. I gave her what I owed her. I dont want anything for free. However I expect excellent service for my money. The manager was so mad, that rather than wash her hands, she tried to push me off on someone else. I declined any further service.

The pedicure was wonderful, the young lady took her time and my feet look great. I’m knocking off a star because of the manicure; the manicurist was very soft spoken when asking questions despite me saying I couldn’t hear, and her job on my nails could have been better.

It was very clean and everyone was extremely nice. However, my nails werent done very well. They werent as neat as I like them to be and they chipped in less than a week and I got dip powder which usually lasts up to three weeks for me. There were only two people there who knew how to use the dip powder so its possible that if Id gotten something else they would have done a better job and my nails would have lasted longer.

I went in today for the first time. I typically go to my neighborhood spot, but I was meeting a friend in midtown so we chose this place since the ratings were good. I got an essential oil pedicure and a manicure. They were not very busy but I felt like I was being rushed along. I barely got to soak my feet at all. The massage chairs were low quality and were painful to sit in. The actual paint job was alright, except for the fact that too much polish was applied and it kept drooling into my cuticle area despite the nail techs attempts to fix it. The woman who did my manicure was not polite nor professional. Every question she would ask to make small talk with me Id try to reply and shed ignore me or talk over me to a coworker or customer. She rushed through my manicure, failing to even ask if I wanted my nails cut down or shaped. I didnt realize till it was too late that she never sterilized her tools before using them on me. When she did finally file them down, she never smoothed the edges, so I kept having to point out ragged edges for her to fix. No bottom coat of polish nor top coat on my pedicure or manicure. I find it hard to believe they were so highly rated. I paid $60 for this. I can pay $10 less at the nail salon closer to my home and have much better looking nails and experience. I am disappointed in their services and will not be going back.

Rude & poor customer service.Their posted closing time is 6pm. I walk in at 5:35 & the first words out of someones mouth is not a greeting, but, Were closed. I look at my watch & say, You dont close until 6. She looks at her watch & says, We stop taking our last customer at 5:30.Not only is that not posted anywhere, but youre going to quibble about 5 minutes? She didnt even ask what I wanted done; it couldve been a simple color change.I used to work in the restaurant business & everyone knows the posted closing time is the closing time. You can walk in 5 minutes before closing & you will still be served as long as you get your order in, even if it is from an abbreviated bar menu.6pm means 6pm. If you dont take anyone past 5:30 then say youre closing your doors at 5:30.

Every time that I go in to the business everybody is so flight they walk me through everything that is going on. They carry on great conversation. All of their tools are clean and in great working condition. And I absolutely love going there.

Paid $50 for a mani/pedi.. which would be reasonable except I had my nails done Friday and by Saturday two of my nails had chipped completely off 🙃I think it probably had something to do with the fact that the color I chose was running low and instead of asking me to pick a new color, they diluted it was some clear liquid. I don’t know if that’s common practice, but either way I was unimpressed with and very disappointed in the quality of my manicure.Also, when I was sitting under the dryer, the manager came and ripped my hands out from under the dryer and painted over them with another layer. For no reason. And I had to sit for another 15 minutes or so to wait for them to dry🙄🙄🙄WILL NOT be coming back.

Have used Spa Nail for a couple of years. Salon is ultra clean and they use safe practices. Always a pleasant experience--from the welcome all the way to the professional work and care taken. Another thing I appreciate, is if they dont whisper to each other in Vietnamese unless they need to explain something to another attendant. Highly recommended.

Gel manicure. I could had done a better job myself. You could see the uneven layers and the “potholes” on the gel. I can’t tell if it was rushed or the personnel inexperienced but bottom line is I am not going back there.

This was my first time going to this etablishment. I was told to go there by a friend who always goes there. I received a very long and wonderful feeling foot massage when I got my pedicure. My manicure was painless and didnt really take long. My nails were so pretty once the technician finished. I will be back.

This place is a hidden gem. I’ve been to super expensive manicure places and none last as long as this place. Especially if you are lucky enough to get one of the women with years of experience. It’s not the most beautiful salon in Memphis but it’s hands down the best in terms of longevity

Left my purse and they kept it for two months. Not one single item was removed. I thought someone had stolen my purse out of car but I never removed it from the spa and did not know to look there because again I thought it was stolen. They are very professional and honest. My wallet with my money and cards, some jewelry I was taking to get cleaned and my loaded Pandora bracelet. Im glad God showed favor up on me!! I truly was blessed to have found this spa. One of a kind!!!!

OMG! This is my first visit to Spa Nails. I had two very relaxing services. Vo did an excellent job on my pedicure. I almost went to sleep. She took her time to pamper me and Lisa did an excellent job on my fill in and nail design. I most definitely will be going back. You do get what you pay for.

This is the worst my nails have looked in years, I only tried out this salon because it had good reviews. Got a simple coffin shape full set. The nails were inconsistently shaped, crooked, and different lengths. I wanted to cry when I left and had to go home and completely redo them. The tech was heavy handed and cut me several times with the file and drill. She was friendly but I’ll never go back.

Went on my break and called before I came. She told me NO waiting and guess what... NO WAITING! as soon as I walked in she put me straight in the chair. Okay polish selection... more choices if your doing shellac. But my feet feel great and look beautiful!

I have been a customer at Spa Nails for years. I have had horrible service at other salons, but the staff at Spa Nails are professional and very clean. I have yet to leave unsatisfied. I always leave relaxed and happy with the result. I introduced a friend to this place and she is still singing praises about how well the service was.

Not very calming. It felt like I was rushed through the entire experience. Kept telling me to scrub to soak my nails, and pushed my hands out of the way instead of politely telling me where to move my hands. Didn’t give enough time to choose my nail color, rushed through the dipping powder and it was not even neat! I won’t be returning. I came here because of the reviews but the reviews aren’t equivalent to the service I received.

Was visiting out of town and needed to get my nails done badly. I looked this up on Google Maps and found this to have great ratings and reviews. I stopped by without an appointment on a history Friday night and they were able to take me right away.The pedicure was lovely and they gave a long massage! Quality of the polish and selection was also good. They have matching gel and regular polish sets which was a bonus. The lady who did my mani and pedi was super sweet and did a great job. Overall I highly recommend and would come back the next time Im in town!

(One proof is they do no nail art not do they know what it is, a lot of these reviews are laughable bs.) I did for too long, after reading reviews, and have discovered there are many good places in midtown- every other place I have been too surpasses it by far.Services are dated, tacky (no trends if youre looking for that.) I happen to prefer neutral but they managed to mess that up more times than not. I have bled several times by simple filing which makes me wonder about how hyhenic they areThe place is dirty, humid, cramped, smells weird and the majority of ladies working are extremely rude.Thrybrush you to make a decision and rush your Mani and Pedi. There are a couple of sweet young girls.They ignore your requests, dont use colors you pick, instead using cheaper, readily available brands and colors that look cheap. The quality of the service is hit or miss, usually miss, and staff overturn is high. .They dont correct their mistakes, this request furiates them and I have been charged more than my original botched mani redo after being told on the phone it would be free. I spent so much money having to have them fix their mistakes. I got caught in a cycle of going here lol.There are aot of older aged women here who dont understand or care and there are always stations available so it is convenient. Only reason so many people come there.I have seen women and men walk out during the middle of manis or pedis. I should have walked out a long time ago. So glad I found a gem a couple miles away with superb service, cool looks and less cost. Do you rself a favor and avoid.
