First time customer and am throughly impressed. Clean facility and friendly staff my only complaint was the water temperature it could have been hotter but still pleased with the service rendered. Will definitely return regularly.

The staff was wonderful! Friendly and all in good moods. They kept my drink refilled. My french tips on my toes look wonderful. I love this place. We were still there after closing and the staff was still in a good mood after the end of a long day. I will be back again and again.

Will not come back. I recently started getting my nails done again and I am disappointed. I got acrylic nails and the nails are so thin that I broke a couple in two days! That is unacceptable as this has never happened before. Obviously the nail tech did not use enough product on my nails. The first time was nice. The lady did a great job, cant say the same for the guy the second time around. He also did not use any cuticle oil, although I was offered it the first time.

UPDATE: After returning home, I wanted to keep these beautiful nails; Not all salons are created equal!! My local shop can’t touch the quality & professionalism that ACE Nails & Spa has!!! Our next trip to Memphis will include an overnight stay just to come back to ACE!!!! While visiting for a medical procedure, my mother & I decided to treat ourselves to a pedicure (mother) and a dip manicure for me. Ace Nails Technicians were professional, kind, and our wait time was zero minutes! We visited on a Tuesday. Thank you Ace Nails for a wonderful experience!

They have always done a really good job. Its even better now that theyre under new management! Employees and customers are both treated well! All of the technicians are talented! Great pedicures, too!

So the first time i came to get my nails gone, the young lady did a WONDERFUL JOB! i just went to get a fill-in on the 21st of july. today is the 26th and i have lost FOUR NAILS!!!! KEVIN wanted to know who did the set before him, making a joke out of it. BUT AFTER HE DID MY NAILS, ALMOST HALF OF MY SET IS GONE!!!! The prices are already high and I just wasted my money! wow. Then no one in there knows how to do designs!!!

They rushed doing my pedi. Didn’t do a good cleaning my toenails they put oil on them instead of cleaning them thoroughly. No more Ace Nails!!! Horrible!!!

Not sure if I appreciate not being offered anything to drink when everyone else was. I just got my toenails painted the job was so so I stilled tipped. Just felt very unwelcomed.

Everything I go there the fellow always lut the least experience person on me . . Because I am a male, I would think they would try to impress me, only tipped 5.00, she did a horrible job . . I normally tip 20.00 or more for pedicure and manicure, I will not be back, I go out of my way for mediocrity . . I will patronize else where

I have been in the Memphis area for about 1 year and had not found a nail shop that I felt was an all around good shop. Meaning that my nails looked good. Location and customer service was good also but I went here today from a referral from a friend that loves this place also and I really liked the atmosphere. The dipped nails looked excellent and pedi was good also. Teresa took her time and did a great job. Although I hear they are very busy at times, this is my new nail home!

The people/workers/owners are fantastic. Best service & treatment ever. This was my 3rd visit & I will go back soon. Try it you will like it.

I have been going to Ace Nails for a while now after a friends recommendation. I had never tried dipping powder, and showed up with a damaged nail caused from a different salon before. They worked to help repair my damaged nail until it was fully healed, and introduced me to the dipping power (which I love)! The place itself is nice & clean. The technicians are all very friendly, attentive, and professional. I am always satisfied with my nails - I have only broken a dipped nail once, as the dip usually lasts me 2-3 weeks, and they repaired it with no issues. You receive a shoulder massage if you also get a manicure with your dip. I often get pedicures (with a glass of wine) as well, and am always satisfied with my feet afterwards. They have a large selection of dip colors to choose from, some have even been paired to match the regular polish colors for toes. I wont go elsewhere, and I even drive out of the way from work/home just so I can go here. Sometimes they are very busy, but they are popular.

Nails were nice on the day i did it. Got the ombre dip with acrylics. Problem is they didnt last. Before the first week was over, I had already lost a nail. The glue was not strong enough to hold and within 2 more days, lost another nail. And its not that my actual nail is falling off, the acrylic + dip is falling off.. which tells me it wasnt done right from the beginning. I am used to my nails.. esp dip powder lasting anywhere from 4 - 6 and in this case, in less than 2 weeks, i have already lost 2 nails.. so.. $55 down the drain. I will not be going back here.

Asked for gold chrome nails, received a color that was totally different! I received a greenish blue color. This was my first time getting chrome so I didnt know what to expect. Once the lady realized what she did, it was too late! These were my birthday nails and now they are ruined! So disappointing. Staff rushed on doing my nails and feet. Ive been going here for years! No compensation for this was offered! Due to my schedule, I was unable to stay and have them redoneWorst experience ever and these nails were done for my birthday. Im embarrassed to show my nails and will never be back!

I love coming here! They are always professional and patient, even when I’m indecisive about what color I want. They take the time to get to know you as a customer and can suggest styles and colors if that’s what you need. They always find a way to make what you want work.

I cannot possibly say enough about how awesome Ace is. Their prices are perfect and the techs are super good. You can make an appointment but they are set up to easily accommodate walk ins. Huge selection of everything you would want plus - my favorite - acrylic powder. You really can go 2 weeks between visits and your manicure or full set will still be on fleek. They are also really fast which I appreciate. They are closed on Sundays but have plenty of open hours every other day. Sign in when you get there and earn points towards a free manicure.

I have been going here since day one they have opened, going on two years. I initially started going every two weeks but due to the two and three hour waits, I started going only once a month. Even going once a month it still took two to three hours! Unfortunately, I have had so many bad experiences after last week I decided that I will no longer be going anymore. First off, waits are two to three hours, especially if you are an African American customer. I noticed over the last year they tend to give more attention to other ethnic groups, other than African Americans. Examples, over the last year I waited longer to get serviced, when serviced Im rushed from the pedicure chair, last time without my top coat being put on, to sitting two hours waiting for a tech to do my nails and when a tech does she is rushing to make sure she can service another woman of a different race. I watch them giving other woman of the opposite race massages while getting their nails done, without being asked to do so, and putting them before other paying customers that were there before them. Recently which is really, really, really bothering me, they have been demanding that I pay cash ONLY the last few months!! To the point they have a ATM in the nail shop!! Its not only just me on that part I watched them demand cash a few times with all customers! I can comfortably say that I will no longer be going there spending my hard earn money for poor customer service and inexperienced nail techs to practice on my nails. They seemed to not be able to keep anyone since day one they have opened which I can see why. My advice if your into nails and want to try new trends, shapes and designs, go somewhere else! This is not the place. I have just been going here so long for the convenience of the location being right across the street from my apartment.

I had the worst and most horrible experience except for Kiki, she was amazing! 1st lets start the fact that I had an appointment and when I came was not greeted or acknowledge which was very rude. Once I stated I had an appointment they disregarded that and I still had to wait 30 whole mins. Once she did my nails she then said that I had to pay well above the price because my nails were long but she CUT my nails down so why would I be getting charged for length that was removed. They are extremely rude and I do not recommended them they are SCAMMERS. Dont waste your time and money at this establishment you will be VERY VERY VERY disappointed. I only gave them one star because I had to.......

They always take excellent care of me. They may not be the speediest, but I typically need to slow down when I allow myself this indulgence of self-care. Thus, the pace doesnt bother me.

Now I will say my service with Kiera was excellent. She did a fabulous job on my feet. I gave this rating based on the rest of my experience from the owner and his wife. Me and a friend went together and set appointments with Kierra. They were rude from the beginning to the end of the visit. They did not allow me and my friend to sit at the foot soak area at the same time. There was a chair open the whole time while my friend got her pedi (was supposed to be a girls day). While I waited o had picked my polish and had it sitting in the chair next to my and while on my phone the owners wife rudely came over and grabbed up the polish (acting in a manner that made me feel like she felt I would take it). She didnt return it to its original spot nor use it, it just couldnt sit next to me while I waited. Once my friends pedi has started Kiera asked me to come and was going to soak me but the owners wife told her no and that I had to wait in waiting area. Upon our departure my friend was speaking to the owner and told him to smile due to him being all frowned up as he rang us up. He completely ignored her on purpose and never even really acknowledged our presence in front of him outside of taking our payment. I will NEVER visit this establishment again and give them a penny of my money because customer service is just as important and IS part of the service I am paying for. I will follow Keira when she wishes up and moves on from that place

They had me soak in acetone for almost two hours! This was my first time here so hopefully this isnt a usual thing. The shoulder massage after manicure is great!

This place is horrible terrible!!!!! The girl that did my pedi was unexpieranced been there for a month unbelievable that this vietnamese are hiring people that are not properly trained she was sweet but did a awful job she said they did on the job trained which means no nail technique experience..... plus they charged if you want dip or shellac they charged extra for manicure I had never been charged extra for it, its always been included with the $30, will not visit this place ever.

Got my nails done a little over a week ago, yesterday my pointer finger nail fell off and today my middle finger nail did as well. I got dip nails and they didn’t have anyone wash their hands before dipping your nails in the container, doesn’t seem very sanitary. As a student, it’s hard to find the money for a manicure, and I don’t do any activities that would destroy my nails. Very disappointed

The place is clean, but the SNS process is not sanitary. They don’t use SNS powder, they use a knockoff called Xtreme. Also, the woman who did my nails didn’t ask me to wash my hands, but just immediately started dipping my hands. When she finished, my hands were still dusty from the powder and didn’t care. And they pick and choose when they include the massage. The work isn’t bad, but overall it’s a no for me.

This was my first and last time at this nail salon. I had found them on yelp mind you I also called before going in I asked about gel polish prices and they told me one thing.... BUT when I got thw re had everything done they tell me I owed $ 71. I was like how when you quoted me one price on top of that yelp said they had been offering a 20% discount ... that place was just a scam .. Oh and I had picked a color of a dark orange so the lady had told me it wasnt coming out right. So I had picked another color a dark blue I had looked at my feet before she could put the color on and my feet still had some of the orange on it. I had asked here to take all the orange off and she says well the blue will cover it up.... Im like seriously Im paying you guys and you wanna be lazy she also looked at me like I was crazy never again..

I enjoyed my experience at this spa. I went in as a first timer for their SNS dip manicure, which was $40. They had a wide selection of colors and not just for that particular service as they also do Shellac and regular polish. I didnt have to wait long before I was in a chair being serviced. My manicurist was a bit over exuberant while trimming my cuticles but once the issue was addressed, I didnt have any more problems. One perk I wasnt expecting was the shoulder massage that came with the manicure. I have to admit I was caught off gaurd, but in a pleasant way. And not only that, my manicure came out great. Its been a week since my visit and my nails have not lost their shine. I work in a hospital and for as much as I wash my hands and use hand sanitizer, I was sure dullness would set in after a few days, but no. Ill definitely be a repeat customer.

I arrive at Ace Nail Spa excited for some mommy time, little did I know that I would be disgusted as soon as I sit in the pedicure chair. Before I can even get comfortable I look down and see hair as well as someone ELSES dead skin that had been scraped off their feet. I immediately ask the lady who seated me to please wipe this off ( she looks at me like Im crazy). At this point we are having a stare off while I wait to see if she is going to actually clean the area that she wants me to sit..... she does NOT. Instead of cleaning the chair she proceeds to simply cover up the skin and hair with a white towel!!! Never again will I receive services here! I am extremely saddened by this because my friend gave them such an excellent review... smh.
