Have been having AC unit issues since I moved here in 2019. Maintenance know they need to replace my unit but patch it up every time. Recent episode air has been out since September 5th. Have made several requests in the portal, have called, went to the office and still no timeline in when this will get fixed. It would be nice to have a timeline on when things would get fixed in a proper amount of time. Ms. Vanessa is very nice and professional but whatever is going on with the timelines of maintenance needs to be fixed ASAP.

The MOST GHETTO experience. I inquired about this property weeks prior and decided to pay them a visit. The leasing agent told me to call back in a HOUR to schedule a tour on MONDAY as I’m standing right in front of her. FYI, I was ready to apply in the same day. This is all because I wasn’t her client. I’ve been in the leasing field and that is not a true showing of teamwork, and definitely not a good look for the company especially when your goal is to LEASE! I knew I was wasting my time when she didn’t even know what “vinyl flooring” was. She looked at me blankly replied saying they all have standard flooring which she referring to carpet, and I had to verify that!! If you’re going to try to ACT/ SOUND professional know your job and the essence of customer service!!

Ill keep it short and simple. Do not move here, there are much better options.

I wanted to share the positive experience that I recently had with Darrell Totten, Maintenance department supervisor. The air conditioning unit recently went out in my apartment. I was able to put in a work order with ease and I emailed the department to check the status. They responded to my email within 2 hours of the office opening for business. Darrell personally called me regarding my A/C issue because my A/C unit is practically new. Due to the pandemic, the maintenance department is short-staffed but because this Memphis heat is no joke, he was able to quickly and efficiently resolve my issue. He was polite, timely and professional when dealing with me. I have put in work orders before for various things and each time this department has met my expectations thanks Darrells leadership. 3-4 times a week I see him walking the grounds very very early checking various things so my experience with him today was a reflection of care that he exudes on a daily basis for our grounds.

One of the most immaculate properties I have seen by far and coming from out of town I will definitely be following up with future business opportunities. I was obliged by Jasmine Outlaw and she answered all of my questions and was very helpful, fun and personable and made my decision all the more easier. Thank you so much!

I love these apartments! The location is perfect, it’s close to Cordova, Bartlett, and Germantown. Ms. Vanessa in maintenance does an amazing job. I moved in at 22 fresh out of college and she has always made sure I am well taken care of.

Its too hot to be without central ac. And I guess theyll respond by saying call them when they are well aware that my ac hasnt worked the entire summer. The air coming from the supply vents is the same temperature as the air going into the return vents. They are trying to kill us. I dont wanna talk. Just fix my acEdit: received a call from maintenance one week after this review. She asked me to put in a request. I did. She marked it as work complete knowing good and well no one showed up. Been here since December 20. Air never worked.

Jasmine Outlaw displayed a perfect example of customer service during my viewing. She didn’t seem pushy at all and I felt like she handled my situation from a consultative perspective, not like a sales person. If you’re interested in finding a place to stay she’s the one to go to!

The application and approval process was quick and easy! Desha made sure I understood everything and was very thorough via email when explaining what I will need to complete the process. Just moved in and everything seems to be going great so far.

I am leaving this review only because I’ve been without AC for about 2 months. I put a work order in but was out of town for a few days. When I returned it was marked as “complete” but it still feels like the devils bedroom in my apartment. Reading all the other reviews stating their AC is out really concerns me. I know they’re short staffed and in the past they’ve been very helpful with meeting my needs maintenance wise but being without air with a small child is horrendous. I will be putting another ticket in tonight in hopes that this issue will be resolved this time. Greenbrook please make this right as I do enjoy my stay here but this has become intolerable.

They coerce you into posting a review here when you sign the lease as if you would know anything about living here at that point.If your wall looks like this they will happily slap some cheap siding on top of it without fixing the underlying issues. In fact they will happily mark all kinds of incomplete maintenance issues as complete for you so that you get to submit the issues repeatedly with no resolution. My issue actually only got resolved when I had a code inspector come out and force them to fix it. This place could be nice. But its not. Better than being homeless if you can afford the rent.The Floorplan said that we would have a patio/balcony and I didnt get to look at my unit before I moved in because of that global issue that happened in 2020. Well it didnt have a balcony. Apparently they only guarantee the advertised Floorplan on first floor units. Well why call it a patio/BALCONY if its never going to be a balcony since that is by definition on the first floor. This place is shady.Neighbors and random people who dont even live here come and dump trash in and outside the dumpsters so theres trash everywhere.

Desha was AMAZING!! We joked and laughed through out the whole process!

The pool and gym are still closed for COVID. So even though we are paying for these amenities every month, we have not gotten to use them. Have tried to reach out to management multiple times about this using multiple communication methods to even see if they will open at some point but have heard nothing. You are better off going anywhere else in Memphis where you can actually use the amenities that you pay for, and where management gets back to you.

Today is my move-in day and Jasmine helped through my lease process. She was very professional, informative, and kind. I didnt have any issues with my apartment. I was a little nervous because some apartments show you the Demo and you fall in love but then you see the actual apartment and hate it. I was actually quite shocked and was very surprised at how nice everything is. I would definitely recommend these apartments anyone looking for a nice area to stay.

Desha went above and beyond to help me and ensure all my questions was answered. She was professional and accommodated my schedule by coming in on a Sunday. I am extremely pleased with her service and look forward to my stay.

Starting to look for 1 bedrooms, so far this has been the best. We have been speaking to Ms Echols for help. She has been so great. After getting to tour I think this will be it.

We have been looking everywhere for apartments. We were blessed to come across a lady named Desha. She was the BIGGEST help we have come across yet. Coming from out of town not knowing where to turn she made us feel welcomed . We walked in and was greeted by another young lady as we waited for Desha. The office was prestige. The fitness center was great. The pool a little green but it was not open yet. I’m waiting on the Juniper floor plan . I want to say to the management that you have a great staff. I don’t do reviews but it was a must, I feel great knowing we will be in good hands.

I love these apartments! First of all, it is located in a great and safe community. The office employees make it a smooth process to get applied and set up to move in the apartments. I was helped by a lady named Jasmine specifically. She answered every question I had until I was confident that I found the right apartment. She was also very professional and nice which really made me feel like I made the right choice. I highly recommend Greenbrook apartments.

I am over these apartments!! When you call about an issue, the office admin rarely ever answer. It has been two weeks since the trash has been like this. It is sad when the office staff, or whomever it is, do not have any regards to how their apartments look. They will send a text concerning trash, but not send no one to clean it up. I would not recommend anyone to stay here. The Sheetrock is horrible and old, pest control is really useful, and more.

Move in was quick and easy and Desha was very helpful during the move in process/leasing process.

I just want my AC fixed! 15 days later. If youre a Memphis native then you understand not having central air in the middle of the summer is miserable. Contacting maintenance is ultimately a joke especially considering they cannot give me an update as to when someone will be able to look at the unit let alone fix it. If you all have that many residents without AC I would expect for maintenance to work extended hours and/or the weekends. I would hope every effort be made to rectify the situation since yall expect my rent to be paid on time. I really shouldnt expect much since it took 2 months to fix a leak that destroyed the carpet in my apartment.8/27/21 Update: AC has been out for a month now and still no idea as to when it will be fixed.

We have enjoyed our stay the last few months! But, if you are looking for amenities, the pool, grills, and gym are both still closed. Other apartments complexes in the area have these amenities open.

My husband and I had moved in late Oct of 2020 we loved it at first, and after a weeks of living here it just went downhill. It started off by our upstairs neighbors who are up stomping around at all hours of the night. Every weekend they have parties and its even worse. You can hear EVERYTHING through the floors. The floors are SUPER creaky and management said that they cant do anything about it. The parking situation is horrendous. People park however they want and have no respect for others. My husbands car windows were smashed overnight and the car was rummaged through. Oh and not to mention the amount of times we have heard gun shots outside our bedroom window, people screaming and fighting throughout the night. I cannot wait to move out of here. Dont even waste your time with this place.

My husband and I inquired about a two bedroom and two bath apartment. When we called we spoke with a Ms. Jasmine Outlaw, who was very polite and informative. She seemed to be very knowledgeable about prices etc. She answered all of our questions and concerns. I was very pleased with her customer service skills.

Desha was very helpful from the first time I called inquiring about a place. In less than a week she was moving me into a renovated one bedroom. The neighborhood is nice, and the entire staff in the office is friendly, helpful, and very professional.

My son rented an apartment here last year. The office personnel is incompetent and dishonest. My son’s vehicle was broken into and his roommates car’s Catalytic Converter was cut off in the parking lot of their apartment. Not a safe environment. DO NOT RENT HERE.

If I could give them negative stars I would. The maintenance person Mrs Vanessa is the rudest person on earth. I have been without air conditioning over 4 weeks and every request I put in to have it fixed was closed out as work completed but they never came to fix it. Please don’t rent from here unless you plan on fixing everything on your own. The pot holes will ruin your car and the break ins are off the charts. I hate it here. Counting down the days to move. My partner stays here, he said his spot is cool. I’m still looking but we talked to Mrs Dasha Echols and she got to be good with that last name. But she did kinda lean me that way . She made it sound great. I went and checked my home boy spot out and it was a lot of space. Thinking this might be the place.Even got a good management company I looked them up yep she told me they took care of residents.

Desha helped me get my first apartment at the Greenbrook at Shelby Farms! The grounds are beautiful and I’m excited to live here.

This place is terrible, the AC has gone out multiple times, and when I call maintenance, the lady taking the paper work and phone calls is incredibly rude and disrespectful. Constant gunshots, neighbors smoke so much weed the smell seeps into our home. Roach and was infestation, STAY AWAY AND THAT MAINTENANCE LADY NEEDS TO LOSE HER JOB.

I moved in during the height of the pandemic and rented the apartment sight unseen until the day I signed my lease. I chose this complex based upon all of the reviews I read in combination with the amenities and location I was seeking. The application and move in process went quickly and smoothly and maintenance has been quick to respond to requests. I have recently gotten married and am relocating out of state which has prompted me to turn in my notice to vacate. Desha was wonderful to work with and answered all of my questions. She was very professional and was able to guide me to possible rentals in the area which I am moving to. I would highly recommend Greenbrook at Shelby Farms for anyone looking for a quiet, budget friendly, and professionally staffed apartment in the Memphis area.

My air has been out for 8 days, all they do is put that you work order has been completed on the portal . It’s 80 degrees in my home and I have a 6 year old but they refuse to fix it. This is the worse experience ever
