Orkin is great because of great people like Markus Barnes, he is a real asset to Orkin. Markus is the reason we stay. He is the best. I would happily have given 5 stars, but Orkin does not give any notice that they are coming, even after repeated requests that they do. We lock the gates and inspector cant enter unless we open. If he cant enter, he cant inspect.

Marcus Barnes has been working with my daughter for a couple of years so of course I had to request him. He is personable, professional, and knowledgeable of the services. Glad he could help me address the issue at hand at my home.

The crew was professional and concluded that the Yellowjacket nest was under construction when we disturbed it and they they had fled the area. They gave me 30 days to monitor the situation. That’s good service.

We have been utilizing this business for a number of years. In the past we had termites and other critters. This company has alleviated all our pest problems. In addition, if any problems arise they address them promptly.

The service tech are excellent and very professional. The office staff however is very rude, cannot admit when they make a mistake and nasty. If I could change to another pest control without having to pay the initial firstInspection I would in a heartbeat. We have three houses with him and they screw it up all the time in the front office They only get three stars because of the incompetent front office staff.

It is definitely pricey for what they do. I was seeing results in some parts of my home but the tech never had enough for my whole house.(generally only enough bait for 1 floor) Today, he came with no bait due to a shortage of supply because of COVID. I understand but Im getting billed the same amount for half the service.

I just cancelled this contract, not because there was anything wrong, but because they got rid of the ants. Paying for something I no longer need is a little foolish, and bringing chemicals into my home without something for them to fight is not a good idea. Good job, Orkin; thank you.

I’ve had orkin for a few months regarding roaches inside my house. The sales manager sold me a package that cost extra for mosquito servicing as well (which I never asked for). When I was presented my bill later on I saw the additional charges and tried to speak to the manager, James, at the manassas location and his response was,”bottom line is you have to deal with it because the service can’t be undone”. This is probably the most rude service I’ve ever experienced flat out. Highly dont recomend.

Paul has been treating my condo for over a year now. He is the best and most consistent bug guy that I have had over the years. Orkin is lucky to have him!

Quick and easy to schedule same day service via phone and accomodared my work schedule. Professional and courteous tech (Sam) who explained the paperwork to me and used the appt time efficiently outside and inside my home.

The Orkin tech came by for our yearly inspection and did find a small area that required another retreat. Because Orkin did the original treatment 30 years ago they are going to treat the area in question for no charge. The Tech and the company are the best. Thats why we are still with them.

My wife and I signed up for the termite and regular treatment service with Orkin about a year ago after buying our first house. We have seen a drastic decrease on the amount of bugs inside the house. Our Orkin guy is very friendly and takes the time to talk over any of our concerns. Overall we are very happy and plan to continue using Orkin.

My appointment time was from 8am to 10am. The technician didn’t show up until 5pm. 7 hours late! When he finally called me and said he would be here in 20 minutes, he didn’t show up until over an hour after that. I made the appointment time early in the day because I had people coming over and planned to be outside. The extreme tardiness of this company made me have to cancel my plans. I am extremely unsatisfied.

Rain has driven ants out from the ground. Moved up appointment without any issues. Tech showed up and practiced great safety. Was very friendly and professional. Team in Manassas has always been very nice to deal with.Great attention to safety gear.

The timeliness of my initial visit was excellent. Marcus’ knowledge was superior and he explained the type of services rendered. He reviewed the contract in good detail. He was patient and thorough. I look forward to an enduring pest-free relationship.On a separate note, the contract included commercial items that did not pertain to private residences, which is a corporate matter. Guy did a good job and spent time exploring what I needed to know so I wouldnt get stung again. Not cheap but when you need a bees nest gone ASAP these guys are quick.

The technician came out for a Mosquito Treatment and about half way through the task it started raining. Main office asked if he could do another job and come back after the rain quit and we said sure. As soon as the rain stopped he was back and finished the task. Great Job.Thanks

Do not trust this company at all. Had many issues with them from the beginning tech just comes and sprays an aresol can then rushes out. Also had issues with trying to cancel my service and billing. Tried to cancel my service and they are forcing a service that I clearly do not want. I was told that a new tech was going to come then next same tech came.

Thank you for your prompt and really great service this morning. They made sure to thoroughly explain process of getting rid of mouse in house before doing the service and also did awesome explaining charges for services over phone prior to the service. The 30 day warranty(they will return in between services with no charge and will refund amount of last service visit if services dont get rid of rodent) isnt bad either . Highly recommend them for pest control

I was surprised to see the technician at my door today and I was not informed by orkin that someone was coming today. I am not at all happy with that kind of surprise. In future if this continues I will have to cancel the service. The technician Marcus is very good in what he’s doing.

There’s a new marketing trend where company’s are making the most annoying and obnoxious ads they can to catch your attention. Orkin is definitely one of the worst. I have zero respect for companies like this and will go far out of my way to not use you if I need related services. Shame on your marketing team and shame on corporate for allowing it.

The Orkin technician today was quick, thorough, and did exactly what was expected plus more. He went about the routine and then added an additional insect spray around the foundation and entranceways. He even left me with extra bait and sticky pads incase we needed them before his next quarterly visit.

Had lemon out today for bimonthly check in. Tito our technician was great. We are new to his route and he was just wonderful. Answered all our safety questions for our dog. He checked all the bait traps and the sprayed the outside. He was great.

Last Saturday a technician came to our house and sprayed our master bedroom. We could notenter the room for two hours. Upon entering the room the next day, we discovered somemissing items, i.e.medications, small red stuffed animal (of great sentimental value), andother personal items. I spoke with the Manager, Murphy, who was professional and patient.He was placed in an awkward position, however I felt he should know. It is horrible to chargeanyone with such a despicable act, but all we know is the items were there and when theTechnician left, the items were gone. Hopefully, upper management will further this causewith a thorough investigation.Overall, we were extremely pleased with the results of the service, hence, the reason for twostars. Everyone should not be held accountable for the acts of one individual.

Technician was excellent. He did something that past technicians did not do. He used an extended brush to clean off webs with bugs in them at the front entrance of our home. I appreciate his thorough completion of his job.

The men arrived on time as scheduled. Very polite; very thorough with job. They even made sure they cleaned up after themselves. However, they were unable to finish job that day. They had to order equipment to do my gutters. I understood. They said I should receive a call when they (Orkin) would return to finish job. Next day as I was leaving to take my grandmother to doctors another set of men from Orkin arrived unexpectedly. They told me they were there to do my gutters. Luckily my mother was at my house, and I allowed the men in or they wouldve had to actually schedule a visit (as I expected). When I returned home my backyard/deck was filled with the debris from my gutters. Unlike the men that fixed my attic they did not clean up their mess. I already needed to do some yard work I did not appreciate being left with additional work.I was very unhappy with their job, which was polar opposite to the guys who came first, and had an even bigger job and did great. I kind of wish/hoped the same guys who came out the first time would return. I know I wouldve been 100% satisfied and this would be 5 star review.
