The management can improve on their professionalism with tenants. Lived there for two years (2019-21) and I cannot recommend anyone moving in. There were neighbors in my building who harassed me and the management encouraged and promoted their behavior! When I requested the managements supervisors name and phone or for their supervisor to contact me about my experiences there, nothing was provided and nobody contacted me.

I have lived here 8 years as of June of this year. This community is by far the best one I have lived in to date. Aside from fact that Alderbrooke is conveniently located to everything you could possibly need, it is truly a comfortable place to come home to. It’s got all the amenities you could want/need, a great floor plan layout, beautifully landscaped, and a staff that truly cares. As I stated previously, I’ve been here 8 years and I do NOT have any plans to move in the near future. If you need a home in Lynnwood, I truly recommend checking this community out.

Indirect, avoidant and bad communication is something I just cant stand when dealing with a place to live. I can definitely tell when a business and its employees are trying to butter me up with a bunch of fluff to take my money, and this is how Alderbrooke is.I repeatedly asked the office for a 1 bedroom apartment quote, which is a very simple, basic request. They avoided my simple question each time. Finally, I confronted them and told them I was frustrated because I wasnt getting an answer to my question. They apologized and then repeated the same behavior, even after I told them that I would be moving on if I didnt get answers to my questions. Linda also talked over me on the phone (ugh) and wasnt professional enough.I ended up canceling my tour at Alderbrooke, and only received a quote for a 1 bedroom after I put my foot down and told them I was moving on. By then, I had enough with their indirectness and attempts to butter me up. I am happy I did NOT sign a lease here! It would have been a very big mistake to have done so.

We live here every winter season since 2008 and have gotten incredible service from the management to the maintenance. Love it.

Had a wonderful self-guided tour experience with Alderbrooke. Didnt end up moving forward with a lease but highly recommend that prospective tenants check it out.

I just moved in a few months ago and we’ve had a few maintenance problems but the maintenance man Adan has always been right on top of it and I always see him around the apartments working hard. When it was snowing it was my first winter driving and I had trouble driving into the apartments one night around midnight when it had been snowing all night and Adan pushed my car for me and directed me on how to move my car safely back on track and I don’t know what I would have done without him. He really goes above and beyond his maintenance duties.

Apartments are priced at the top of the local market, but are average in size and layout, nothing special. Parking can be a problem after 8pm on most days. Amenities are nice to look at, but how much do you hang out at your apartments office and use the hot tub? Theres enough new units in the area that a little looking seems like itll produce a better value.The management was obsessed with dog poo for a 6 month period. Theyd spam notices about dog poo, and genetic testing of dog poo, and paper even units (like mine) that didnt have any pets. It was a little funny at first, and then annoying.Ground floor units have a problem with people walking up to the building and trying the doors and windows, sometimes during the day, sometimes at night. Kinda creepy. I installed a wood blocking bar on the sliding glass door, and kept the windows closed and locked, but theres no air conditioning in this building, and well, it kinda sucked in the summer.After I gave notice they offered me a special rate - from $1712 a month to $2900 a month if I wanted to go month-to-month. To end a lease a month early they wanted to charge me $300 more than my monthly lease payment. Both of these seem excessive. They REALLY want you to sign a 10 to 12 month lease, but to charge folks who want a few weeks longer nearly double the lease rate seems like highway robbery.All in all I would not recommend this complex or its management/owners.

Nice quiet place to live. Management was helpful and courteous. Grounds are clean and well kept. Parking wasnt an issue, car was always safe. I would continue leasing if I was in the area.
