At first I was not impressed, but once I returned in a much better mood I realized these apartments are really nice! Mine is not renovated, so I’m sure the renovated ones are even nicer, everything was clean no bugs, quite area. The keeler’s team has been super helpful, Katie, Sofia and Armida. Maintenance is prompt, the complex is clean, there is lots of parking, the apartment itself is lovely, high ceilings, ample space, large master bedroom, although there is a weird “coat closet” that is a shared closet with the smaller bedroom, but the master has plenty of closet space. Large patios, some of the units do not have a large patio however. Overall this is a great place to live, I would highly recommend.

WARNING! This place will nickle and dime you for everything. Lived here for 3 months, paid early termination fee of $2,934. They kept my $550 deposit (330 security, 250for pet), they charged me a cleaning fee of $135+50 for carpet cleaning, additional fees for utilities (totally fine), but the cleaning fee? had I known I would of not cleaned the apt. They even charged me for an 3extra days, because I was not able to get there on my move-out day due to the snow (2 days charged due to the snow, 1 day due to them being closed because of a holiday). I even called (no answer), emailed to let them know I could not get there due to the snow (they never returned my email). When returning keys, 1 of the staff members said, oh you should get all most of your deposit back, you were just here for less than 3 months. Two weeks later, I get a letter stating my refund would be $34. What a joke. I would never consider renting from this place again.

Really want to give 2 stars but I can settle for three considering I really should mostly be basing this off the apartments themselves. They are nice, fairly clean, and have a good feel to them. The only thing I have to gripe about is how absolutely awful new management is. They turned over new management about a year ago and they are horrendous. Very rude to me(I honestly think because of my age), all the staff they fired were replaced with very poorly trained staff(besides maintenance, awesome crew they still got there), and the buildings are very, very poorly numbered. Not a staff issue there, just a general gripe.Ultimately I moved out because of how awful management was and made me feel. If you want clean, nice apartments for a reasonable price and in a good location this is a good place, I just hope you never have to deal with the management team or staff.

I am transitioning from Texas to WA and these apartments look very beautiful. I called on Wed, NO ANSWER. I called the next day and spoke to LAUREN, and goodness gracious, that woman has the worst customer service!!! I asked her about the availability for NOV 2020, she said you can go to website and get the pricing, view the apartment online. She was trying to cut the conversation quick. I asked if the water and sewer were included, she gave attitude while providing the information. She said it would be a 15 month lease, I asked her if they had 6 month lease because it would be my first time in WA, and being a DISTRICT manager im not sure what my final post would be, and in explaining, she cut me off and raised her voice telling me Well since you want a short lease you have to pay more, i didnt even finish asking my questions and i told her well ill give a call back here soon, she didnt say anything and just disconnected the call! I will not be residing here, if they are RUDE and cut me off in that manner, I can just imagine my living experience. I was ready to start the process and pay 6 months IN FULL, with that attitude, they lost my business and my other 5 co-agents that were transferring from Texas also and planned to apply there. THANK YOU REVIEWS!! Yall were CORRECT and gave us shoppers a heads up! We appreciate it.

Living here was great! However moving out is a whole different story! We moved out in March and they still are trying to charge us for things we paid for. The apartments were sold when we had renewed our lease and now they’re saying that we didn’t pay the pet deposit, which we did. The only way they want to communicate is on the phone so that whatever we discuss isn’t documented. Their billing department is horrible along with their customer service. My husband is the one that is now dealing with them since I refuse to even acknowledge their BS. Thrive community was great! But Avenue5 sucks.

It is very important to us that the maintenance technician be knowledgeable about the problem and follows the instructions about accessing our apartment. We got both in the maintenance person who came to find the problem with the draft coming in from underneath our entry door. We got a great, and simple, easy to understand explanation of how to get the best out of our heating, and the draft is gone. This should help reduce our monthly PUD electricity bill. Great job!

Called today to speak with Chad (property manager) about an issue Chad specifically requested we speak to him about. Lauren was who I got instead, Lauren refused to let me talk to Chad, informed me that “it was her job to handle these requests” and that “she wasn’t interested in hearing my story” when I offered to explain to Lauren why I Was specifically requesting Chad. Needless to say, after five mins of Lauren rambling on about new apps to hold the apt I was able to inform her it was a roommate situation and not a whole new apt. Seems like maybe Lauren SHOULD have been interested in that story after all huh?🤔. Anyways long story short I have had nothing but issues when dealing with anyone else BUT chad and I’m not even a tenant yet! YIKES. What happens when we are locked into a lease with people who are so unprofessional and rude?

Great apartment community. I toured with a gentleman by Eric who was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the area and the community itself. This place has a ton of amenities like an indoor pool, an indoor basketball court and a dance room. Seems like parking used to be an issue, but sounds like theyve made some changes and I saw a lot of parking spaces when I toured. Found a different place closer to work, but still was very impressed with this apartment complex.

First of all, they lost some residents personal informations. So when it comes people having trouble with vehicle towed or anything, they decided to tell theres nothing we can do even tho they could or had to. Some person couldnt get the car out because someone was blocking. When some persons car got towed by mistake, they wont help. There was a guest that visited parents to nurse, their car was towed by staffs mistake. But the mamager didnt want to deal with the problem and didnt wanna be responsible for the charge. even worse, she told my girlfriend to tell them that they parked in the reserved spot. Lots of people complaining about there are drug use and dealing in the complex. Stuff like cocaine. But again, they dont wanna do there job. They wont miss the chances for pull out money from you as much as they can. And there are lots of hidden fees. Some are charged $1.5k to $3k or more for just moving out. She saw lots of people shocked and suffering from those unfair charges but they have no choice. Some of them are even struggling to just live because lost their jobs or lost loved one in this covid crisis. So she decided to quit, couldnt stand the unfairness and working for a swindler who fleeces the victims. She was feeling ill for a while from stress. We were harassed out of our home here by one of the neighbors. Both their security and sheriff provided proof of the harassment and the managers solution was for us to move instead of dealing with the situation.Police are regularly in the complex. No background checks on residents income, so its a great place to be a drug dealer. They dont care how loud you are so you can install a sound system and play it as loud as you want. Youre not supposed to smoke withing 25ft of the building but they wont do anything so you can smoke on your balcony and throw all your trash down onto your neighbors porch. You can also smoke inside the apartment and they wont care. You can park wherever you want, even in the assigned spots that someone else pays for, they wont tow your car unless its the fifth time.Lots of rats in the area. Garbage pick up service is regularly not picked up or is often missed and you still have to pay for the service even if no service is provided. Cars get broken into often. Syringes and other trash around the property.Theyll also enter your apartment with no warning illegally. This happened twice with no notification to any of us in the apartment and no emergency reason.Lots of rats in the area. Garbage pick up service is regularly not picked up or is often missed and you still have to pay for the service even if no service is provided. Cars get broken into often. Syringes and other trash around the property.Highly would not recommend living here unless youre a drug dealer. You can do whatever you want and all the office can do is give you a letter that says not to. Theyre too scared to take any legal action.Upon talking with other residents, no one is planning on renewing their lease and others are considering breaking it. It is not a good place to live with families or pets. Most of the office staff is wonderful except for a couple and its sad that the property management is so awful.

I almost feel bad for changing my review but then again..Ill let others decide whats right. My wife and I came up to pick up our youngest that our daughter was watching, this was like day two of the virus. I was waiting to find out if my job was going to be on the essential list. It was payday and our rent and other bills were also due in a few days, anyway...we admittedly parked in the fire zone right outside of the apt our daughter and son in law live in. We went in for about 20 minutes to pick up our son and when we came out my jeep was gone at first I thought itd been stolen. And my son-in-law ran down and found out that it is actually been towed long story short a 20-minute visit to pick up my son and take him home turned into a $411 ticket to get my car back so we could go home. I get it. Dont park in the fire zone dont park where youre not supposed to I understand that I was just picking up my son and leaving leaving a car or abandoning my car or hanging out and partying thats $400 that could have gone to a lot better things like food or paying bills in a time where our country is in a major crisis that money could have done a lot better my son-in-law has told me some stories about this place that I am not going to repeat but if you want to contact me privately I will gladly share them with you I do not recommend this place I wouldnt send my worst enemy here there are drug addicts everywhere my son-in-laws car has been towed and stolen people have tried to break into his apartment so no dont send your loved ones here to live or come here yourself to live there are better things you can do with your money

Absolutely do not recommend. Theyve just gone through ownership change (from Thrive Communities to Avenue5), and they managed to lose our tenant information. I just moved out as they were transitioning ownership in January, and Keelers Corner violated the law by not returning the deposit within 21 days of moving out. After pointing out theyre breaking the law, now my information doesnt exist according to management. This means I dont get any security deposit back now.

We absolutely loved living here during the previous property owner, Thrive, managed Keelers Corner. The staff was friendly, helpful, and sincere. But ever since Avenue5 took over, its been an absolute nightmare.A squirrel had gotten into the space between our ceiling and the roof due to a tree limb and getting maintenance and staff to help us before it finished digging its way through the drywall was like pulling teeth. Nothing got done (except for staff talking about it amongst themselves and not bothering to update us for days) until we cited the code violation occurring by failure to address the health hazard. It got resolved pretty fast once we lighted the fire under them, but that shouldnt be necessary.Im unfortunately trying to renew our lease and was just told that their renewal process with renters insurance changed, contradicting the instructions we were given in a letter and e-mail last month. Not sure why they didnt think to tell us that and Im absolutely infuriated that because of this, they likely wont honor the sign by special and well have to pay higher rent because they failed to communicate with their tenants. Please save yourself the headache.

So far, most of my experience has been good. The staff is pretty helpful. I miss not getting the package notices via email anymore. (Pre-Quarantine).... Then my boyfriends car got broken into and we were pretty bummed about that. But I love my actual apartment and the maintenance seems ok... it takes a 2-3 days to get stuff fixed when its not an emergency. I wish the walkways and certain areas were picked up & powerwashed more often. I really like the Trash Valet, but I wish they didnt miss us on certain nights... not too often, but once a month.

Review №25

If I could give a zero star I would. I lived here for two years, and it was the most horrific living experience. There are several aspects that go into making a resident feel at home, and Keelers Corner managed to just about fail at every one of them. Yes, there are friendly managers (among both new and old management), however, most would say one thing to you, and either not following through, or it would turn out to be the exact opposite of how they needed paperwork, such as proof of renters insurance, etc.The apartment I lived in was A105, which is right next door to the home model. Move in condition was the worse. Dead bugs that looked like they were pushed to the corners of the room, cobwebs, blinds not hanging up, brown stains in the shower, which came off easily with cleaning products. Why wasnt this cleaned beforehand? With this apartment in particular, you feel like you are living in a fish bowl, because the daily tours come right up to your living room window, and you also need to keep your blinds to the bedroom shut or prospective residents will see everything. The insulation and ventilation system needs to be upgraded. Even with both heaters running for hours during the winter months, the apartment never reached a comfortable temperature. I was forced to wear sweats, cabin socks, and even purchase hot hand warmers that I put under my sheets to stay warm. The insulation needs to be changed out, cold air comes through the outlets, doors, under baseboards, and around the windows. I bought outlet coverings, put towels at the base of the front door, etc., but this should not be needed. Now onto ventilation. Even though using the vent in the bathroom, and opening both doors that lead to this room, mold continued to grow and worsen to the point that green liquid would fall onto the floor. Managers told me that they would need to scrape the old paint off and replace dry wall, so to whoever lives in A105, if you have cracking paint on the ceilings in the bathroom, they have not replaced anything, and there is more mold hidden where you cant see it.There are also cracking ceilings that make it impossible for you to live in a quiet apartment, especially when you have a couple upstairs who you need to call the police on due to domestic violence. Management at the time did absolutely nothing except to ask me for the police report number so that it can be placed in their file. What is that going to do??? They passively waited until their lease expired for the residents to leave, which was months later. I would have to guess that there were over fifty complaints with the police and after hours patrol. It was a slap on the wrist. Good luck to the light sleepers! The walls are extremely thin to the point where you can hear your next door neighbor sneeze, have a conversation, among other situations if you catch my drift. If you expect privacy, Keelers Corner is not for you. Almost all appliances have broken down and some could have been resolved before I moved in. I had my fridge break down, dryer not blowing hot heat, come home to busted water pipes and water flooding the kitchen. The dryer, which needed a new hose (huge and very noticeable hole, in which someone could have just looked behind it and would have noticed it), and the pipes could have been inspected before a new resident moved in, because it was just a matter of a quick inspection to see there was a crack, which just goes to show you that they do very little to upgrade or keep aspects of apartments in good condition. Storage is suboptimal. The opening to the cabinets are only so big, so youd be lucky to get certain items inside. Also, the patio floods every time it rains hard, so the bark and leaves from the trees floods the patio and makes the storage closet useless unless you want your belongings to get wet. One last thing, there are bugs, specifically spiders and small beetles. They come up from between the baseboards and carpet, and even the outlets, and the only thing to keep them at bay is to spray poison in your home every few weeks.

We have lived here for just short of two years. The only good thing going for this place is that it has 4 walls and a roof. The walls are paper thin and for the last couple years i have enjoyed hearing people stomping, yelling, and loud music coming through the cieling and walls at all hours of the day and night and its only getting worse. 3 of our neighbors have dogs that bark constantly and Im not talking chihuahuas Im talking labs and shepherds. The smell of cigarettes and weed comes through the vents in our bathrooms and cant have our windows open either because it wafts in. The cops are constantly here in the community dealing with problems. Cars and apartments have been broken into frequently. Staff is unlikely to help in any situations. Maintainance have tried to enter my apartment without prior notice and when i called the staff out on it they lied trying to say it was for an emergency even though the maintenence guy said why he was really there. I also cut my hand on a hand rail which cost me 1500 dollars out of my pocket in stitches and medical bills which keelers did nothing (two staff even witnessed it happen). People sit in cars all hours of the night. When I tell the staff we are moving out early they say that will be 3200 dollars and you will not get any deposit back due to cleaning fee even though they have broken several parts of the lease on their end, why cant I break it on my end now. Ill take pictures, my apartment is as spotless as the day I moved in. My girlfriend doesnt feel safe walking the dog at night or in the early morning here either. Also there are rats galore here probably due to trash situation. We leave in 3 days; cant come soon enough.

Overpriced, and the new management is awful. Just walked into the office with my newborn baby and there was a new girl in training by herself. I told her my car battery died and if maintenance had jumper cables. She went to the other offices to ask someone to help and when she got to the one manager that was available that had her door shut, she took one look at me and told her “Oh, we don’t do that here No.” and shut the door. It was by far the rudest they have ever been to my face. On the brighter side, as I walked back to my apartment I saw one of the older male maintenance guys who has been there before the new management change. I told him about my car and her immediately said that they have cables. So he took my number and apartment number and is on his way to help.At a loss for words. We, and a whole bunch of other tenants we spoke to, will 100% NOT be renewing our lease.

I lived in this apartment for 2 years. But I moved out recently. Here are reasons and what I experienced. This apartment was owned by Thrive Community when I moved in.The good part was maintenance guys, they are professional. Pretty quick job, and they knows what to do. And best part was customer service and staffs. However, the owner changed to Avenue5 on around Dec. Thats the bad part and turned everything worse. One time, my car was blocked by someone who parked right behind it. But I had to go to work.So I went to the office for some help. I was talking with the property manager. She made me to wait for about 10mins before even I start talk, then finally showed up then Hi, how can I help?. Not even an apology for kept me wait.I explained the situation, but her answer was Im sorry, theres nothing I can do for that. I cant tow that car because its registered for keelers cornerSo I asked her what I should do but Im sorry I cant help with that over and over. Not even try to find out the way. Then told her I really need to go to work and this is her answer.I understand your frustrations, but theres nothing I can do. You can use Uber or Lyft. I ended up got to work about 1.5hours late. Then of course I missed the important deal with a client. So that morning I decided to leave there even costed almost $4000 for the cancel fee plus no deposit return(of course).I dont recommend this apartment. Im really not sure why some of these reviews are only giving one star and saying, NEVER LIVE HERE ITS AWFUL. Its not! Keelers Corner apartments have really been nothing but good to me. Yes, parking used to be a huge issue, but ever since they implemented the parking permit program, parking had improved dramatically. The premises is usually pretty clean and well kept. The office ladies are super sweet and will actually recognize me by name! They hold all sorts of events as well, which is a really cute perk. The pool is usually pretty clean, but can get a little noisy. Management/Maintenance wont be at your every beck and call, but really guys, these people are human, you cant expect that from anyone. All in all, this is not a bad place to live, Ill list some pros and cons below:Pros- Clean, fairly safe, management is getting better and better, gorgeous area, and the office is willing to work with your needs. Ive never encountered surprise fees ever, I have no idea where people are getting that from. The residents here are a nice little community.Cons- My apartment did have a mold issue upon move in, some appliances are more on the old side and dont work as well as brand new ones, there are some non-resident weirdos that walk around here at night (but that issue is also improving.), the outdoor hotub is only warm and half the jets dont work (the indoor one is perfect though!)

The service is terrible they just paint over everything the walls have mold in them. The garbage disposal motor is close to 30 years old. The rent is too high for below basic service. They won’t fix our locks either!

Very poor customer service. They are friendly and nice when youre signing up and maybe theyll keep it up while youre living there. But when you tell them youre moving out and give them the key back, beware. They will charge you for everything they can. Greedy, and dishonest. And Im not the only one, I had 2 separate friends that went through the same thing with them that Im going through. One of them got sent to a collection agency without notice and attempted to rob $5000 from him. Fortunately the collection agency was helpful to my friend and caught Keelers Corner in a lie. He ended up paying $1000 or so for cleaning charges and lease break.

DONT EVER MOVE HERE!! There is NO PARKING EVER. When you call the office THEY NEVER ANSWER & when you do go to the office no one is ever there and too busy to get to you. My husband constantly has to park somewhere NO WHERE NEAR the apartment complex in order for him to not get towed. Rent is SUPER expensive and there is a whole bunch of fees. Our appliances are super old and dont work that good. Its just a mess here. Save the headaches and go to an apartment that has decent appliances and give you assigned parking.

I will say the rent is a little more on the spendy side but you also get what you pay for. I am new to the area and had toured over 15 different complexes. The reason I chose Keelers Corner was because of the utmost customer service and full disclosure of amenities, fees, and willingness to help with no sales pressure. Of course I expected it to die down after move in, but it didnt! The model unit I was showed was beautiful. I was given the floor plan and told my unit would be similar. And it was! I was very pleased. Updated appliances, large windows add more natural light, crown molding, and large open feel in general.Of course nothing is perfect, upon move in there was a light out, chips on the counter, and a week after move in I noticed the burners on the oven were warped. How they handled it was great though. The chips in the counter were noted on my move in inspection, I was given the option to have it fixed but they are not bad enough. I just wanted it noted so I didnt have to pay upon move out. The light was replaced within the time frame I requested. I let them know the burners werent urgent, just sometime within the next 5 days...they were replaced within 24 hours and even left a personalized note!!!There was a cute little welcome package upon move in and emails and phone calls to see how things were going. All the ladies in the office are always friendly, ready to help, and know you by name.I have not had a problem with parking. I have noticed that if I get home from work later, around 8 or 9, I do have to park a little further away but still close to my apartment. Normally there is parking right in front of my complex. I have had guests several times (with the guest parking passes) who have not had an issue with parking either. My neighbors are all quiet and respectful. I have not noticed said drug trafficking and often see kids playing around the area. It has a good, safe environment. All in all, I would highly recommend Keelers Corner. I am very pleased with my experience so far and look forward to longevity of dwelling here

I loved living here, however rent is ridiculous and litterally so much more money for rent upon the next year if you want to stay. They up the rent so they get rid of you, well in my eyes thats how I see it. Now thinking i waisted all my monthly 1600 rent on a place I was barely even using as a home! The staff though, were and are THEE very BEST people Ive ever had the pleasure to have and how much care and quickness they handled any damages or complaints. It was a 50/50 experience but I also think Donald Trump having his claim at being president really drove everyone crazy, the vibe was dying towards the end of my lease (March 2017).Oh well. Its basically a great company and good community, but be sure to have a good paying job, lol!

I have lived here for 1 year. I strongly advise any person who considering this as there home to find a different apartment complex.I am very much displeased with the way in which this property is managed, but there are also some good points. I will try and list them fairly:Cons:Extremely limited parkingExcess fees (I am paying almost $200 a month more than expected)Prometheus Management will nickle and dime every chance they get.Pool and other amenities are frequently unavailable for useVehicle break-insVehicle vandalismDumpster divingEXTREMELY limited garbage and recycling facilitiesPros:The remodeled units are very well designed and somewhat soundproofedPool (When it is open and/or the heater is not broken)Conclusion:While this property looks very appealing and while most of the units are about as nice as one can expect from an apartment, you WILL end up paying more than expect. Parking is atrocious, and unless you rent a parking space or a garage, you will end up putting your car on the street, which is even less pleasant given the size of the property and the distance that you will then need to walk to get to your unit.I want to like this place enough to stay here, but the property is poorly managed and I have been overcharged to the point that I wish that I had never lived here.

Edit: I reviewed this complex on Yelp as well, seems that my review was sent to the currently not recommended list. Please make sure you look at that list in Yelp, it will take legitimate reviews and send them to that list. There are a LOT of negative reviews there, very fishy if you ask me.I toured this complex in December, everyone seemed very nice and were eager to make us feel welcome. They showed us an appt they guaranteed is exactly like the one they had for us. They could not show us the appt they had for us since they were still getting it ready. We did not think anything of it since they said we were getting an replica of that appt. The day of our move-in comes and we find that the appt is non-refurbished, meaning we got very old appliances, half that did not work. From the kitchen to the bathroom, all the appliances were busted and filthy. The place smelled like cat piss and the carpet was spotted and some parts were shredded...then we find out that we were placed near very loud partiers and drug dealers. There are drug deals that occur all the time here, there are people that pull up and park to pick up their fix, pay and leave, 24/7. I know, because I see this out of my balcony, my kitchen window and when I take my child to the pool or to go on a walk, of which we no longer do because it is too dangerous. Aside from that, the break-ins, vandalism, car thefts and round the clock fighting between neighbors, it is scary, especially when it is at 2 or 3 in the morning. Even their security does not want to respond anymore. You are left having to call the sheriff, since they are not within the Lynnwood pd jurisdiction. Their response times are, lets just say they are very busy, meaning you are stuck waiting and waiting. On top of it all there is dog feces everywhere. The keelers corners pictures on the website show a beautiful clean facility, those pictures are over 5 years old now. The facilities have a filthy workout room, they are supposed to have an aerobics/yoga classes, but the manager cancelled it all. There is no classes available, but that was something they have advertised and are still advertising. On top of all of that the staff in the club house is beyond awful. They are cruel, they talk down to people, scream at residents, I witnessed this myself going to pick up parcels with my child. The manager of the complex, Katy Neely, is by far the most unprofessional, unorganized, malicious person I have ever encountered trying to run an apartment complex. Instead of her taking any responsibility for issues that arise at this apartment complex, she will blame her staff, or the residents themselves. God forbid you need anything fixed, you may as well get your checkbook out and pay for it yourself, because this woman will find any reason to get out of getting a maintenance person out to your residence. Which may not be the worst thing, since the maintenance workers are so incompetent anyways. They have been out to my appt 7 times since I moved in, and they still have not fixed the major problems I have. They have only fixed the most menial issues. We finally had to fix it ourselves by hiring a professional, and you can forget calling corporate, Thrive, because THEY DO NOT CARE AT ALL. If you have a child, for the love of god, find somewhere else....PLEASE. This review was not meant to be malicious, but was meant to protect anyone thinking about becoming a future resident. $6000 dollars in professional bills for, $800 for car vandalism...I promise you, it is better to look somewhere else. We wish we had looked elsewhere, but all the negative reviews on Yelp WERE HIDDEN and everywhere else were all good reviews. I did not find the negative Yelp reviews until after we had already moved in.

After moving out, I got a letter in the mail stating my refund would be: $212.13. Then a week later I got a call from the staff telling me I owed that amount, and it would go to collections! She printed and mailed it, without double-checking it! Her excuse was she made a mistake! Well if you check your work, that kind of unprofessional incompetence doesnt occur!

If I could chose no star for this place I would. The reason for that is when you move out they totally screw you over. They didnt contact me about any closing information or send me a letter about the closing cleaning fees or repairs instead they sold my information to colections not to mention they charged me for things that I shouldnt have been charged for like keys and locks when i turned those in.Not to mention when i wanted to talk to them about when their letter they supposedly sent out to me of the fees they kept hanging up on me. Keelers corner is a very sketchy place and very unprofessional. I would highly recommend anyone to another place if you are considering this and dont want to be screwed over.
