Everything was great and fast, they didn’t try and pressure me to spend more money than I originally planned too. It’s also about $20 cheaper for an oil change than anywhere else. My only issue was when they cleaned my back window they left it dirtier than what it was before so now I’ll have to go clean it again. Not a huge deal, it’ll take like 5 minutes, I just felt like it was a half done job on that particular window, they also didn’t ask me to roll up my driver window to clean but again, not a huge deal. It’ll take a few minutes to go in and do it myself.

It was very pleasant. What I enjoyed most is the teamwork they illustrated. They were very professional and they all were smiling and happy to answer any questions I had. This is my 2nd time going there and I came from Midland to Lubbock just to come back. I give them 100 % on customer service skills.SincerelyHelen Campbell

Didnt check . My tires.An I had to remind them to wipe my front windshield. One guy sprayed it. Did all my other windows. An left my windshield . Only.He had to have forgotten.

Worst experience ever. James Pomeroy told me that they had to remove the skid plate to remove the oil filter, after arguing with me when I told him that it had never needed to be removed before, he insisted that that was the only way . Against my better jugment I gave in. They cut it off, did the oil change and told me l was done, when I asked where the skid plate was, they said its laying on the floor and seemed surprised that I wanted it. Now its going to cost me $100.00 to have it put back on. They are Idiots who know nothing about cars. Beware

The oil change was quick and complete.

Everyone was friendly and social. They didn’t just ignore me and treat me like just another customer. They offered me a beverage and explained everything very well. I even learned how to reset my oil percentage and that was cool lol. I will definitely come back.

My family and I were on a road trip back home and we were tirelessly looking for a place that could put air in our tires on a Sunday morning. We found Take 5. They greeted us, they were super nice, there was no charge, and they didnt want the tip, but I insisted. If I lived in Lubbock, theyd have my business!

I was really impressed. They had me in and out, which must have been hard with 108 temp outside. I will be returning.

I used this place to get my oil changed and my car started leaking oil after. So I changed my oil again and they didnt have to the oil filter on all the way.

I had previously vowed to never use take five after seeing so much has changed. I decided to give them another chance and for the most part everything went smooth dealing with the management. Only issue I had was the employees doing the work was wreckless. I had wipers replaced and Apparently they thought the hood of my Yukon was a toolbox was laying screw drivers wrench’s old blades all across my hood. While changing air filter dropped wrench under truck and decided to use my front bumper to hang on to get under and up from the ground

Ryan and his team were great. They were fast, great customer service. Drinks offered. Windows clean. Tired good! All levels back to normal and I am pleased to say it was probably the best experience. They were very informative and answered all my questions. Thanks ave Q

Ive taken my Genesis to Take 5 since I moved to Lubbock and this specific location was the quickest to complete my oil change out of all the ones Ive been 2. The manager was very courteous and helpful given the complexity of oil changes on the Genesis.... Definitely recommend!!!

I drove in, had oil change, new air filter, and fluids topped up and tires check - and rolled out in 20 minutes.The service gentleman showed me my air filter, recommended a new one, and showed me the new filter before he installed it. In my previous visit, they showed me my filter and advised it didnt require replacement just yet.This goes A Long Way to building trust!TY Bolton. I took my Hummer H2 to Take 5 on Avenue Q, the one closer to 34th Street. All the guys that work there were very young and unprofessional, they were playing games, cursing, Etc. Im very disappointed in this place. What made me more upset was that before they put my hood down one guy asked the other guy if the oil cap was on right and he said I dont know but he was about to shut my hood anyway without checking. I understand that in a workplace sometimes goofing around can make time go by but I think that its best to leave the goofing around for when there is not any customers around, it gives the business the bad look. Dont get me wrong, I will be back, and I will write a review and every time I go to take five. If the service is good I will write a good review if the service is bad I will write a bad review. I will keep writing reviews until I am heard. I have been in management, in retail, at the same company for going on 21 years. So I do know a little something about running a business, I do not want you to think Im just running my mouth because I didnt get a soda or something.

I used this shop back when they were Boltons, and the shop has gone downhill. They seemed quite scattered, and there was no clear communication between the team members. They got it done, but some of the things that were standard customer service items when it was Boltons have definitely gone.

They were very much informative and accurate with their services

Had to get car inspected. They said their inspection guy had already left for the day but the guy on the floor went ahead and inspected my car anyway. He was quick and very nice.

Very expensive no drinks or customer service. Very slow no tire check or window washing. This will be my làst time.

The guys were very polite and respectful. They did a great job. Only downside was waiting over an hour and a half. They only had 2 working.

When Bolton oil ran this place it was very customer service driven and I can not say the same for Take 5. The staff here does not seem as motivated as Boltons. Even as a customer, the simple things Bolton oil did (Like offering refreshments while waiting) seem to make a huge difference now. I had been going to Bolton oil for a long time and my first visit with Take 5 left an unsatisfying experience at the same exact location with most of the same staff. I would recommend the management get to know what their customer base and employees like because both were not happy during my last visit.

Had my inspection done there guys working there were pretty awesome and brought some window wipers too.

I have 6 vehicles that I take here regularly to have the oil changed on. The last time I sent my 2 work trucks in they didn’t tighten the new oil filter good and almost ruined my engine! I had a mechanic look at it because we thought there was a major oil leak somewhere, but it was simply poor installation of the filter. We didn’t realize it until it was almost too late.... The engine still runs, but sounds bad when we first start it.

They told me what was wrong with my car and I appreciate it

Take 5 bought out Bolton and cut half the staff, half the hospitality and doubled the wait. No more free drinks or tire checks.Just waited over an hour for a simple oil change - they were unable to drain my oil and change the filter (even though they changed my oil last time) and told me to go somewhere else to get an oil change!! I’m furious they just wasted my time and offered no retribution and told me to fix the problem they managed to cause from the last oil change.TLDR; Take 5 Oil Change made a good business bad.

Definitely not the Bolton’s experience. I had to disconnect and park a small utility trailer - no big deal. Asked if i wanted a drink but, sorry, no diet drinks - the cooler looked mostly empty. They didn’t have the same brand of oil I normally use. The real kicker is they refused to dust out the air filter. I had to pull it out in the parking lot to clean it. All in all, nice people but an overall poor experience.

Great place! Quick and efficient place to go for an oil change. I like how they were loud to have everyone do their job efficiently. Reminds me of the military and how we worked to get the job done. Its no wonder why they have such high reviews. While I was waiting to get my oil changed, they cleaned my windows and outside mirrors. I dont think Ill get my oil changed anywhere else in Lubbock. They checked other stuff to see if my car is good. I liked how they called each other my Mr. and Mrs. (or various versions of). They all looked like they were having a great time working there. I stayed in my car while they changed my oil. They were funny while very polite. It seems like anyone who worked there loved working there. They offered my a drink while I waited in my car. Not sure if they would have charged me, but it seemed like it was complimentary. Im sure that anyone getting any services there wouldnt be disappointed. I sure wasnt. Will definitely be back. A great place to get services done on their car!

Could not recommend an oil change more! They were very friendly and quick! Will definitely be back (3705 Ave Q). Would recommend Take 5 at 6530 82nd.DO NOT GO TO the Take 5 at 6310 19th. First time I went to the 19th street location they did not put my skid plate on properly, and then it took them 3 weeks (and several missteps) to fix it. Then they left something loose and it fell out of place. Then i warned my husband not to go to 19th. I told him try ANY other Take 5, but it was convenient so he went. Luckily they didn’t have a chance to mess anything up on his vehicle as we watched them talk and walk around between vehicles with very little getting done for about 20 minutes... and no one bothered to speak with us, so we finally left. Went to the one on 6530 82nd, and were met immediately and taken care of quickly.

I was in and out in no time and still made it to another Appt. The gentleman helping me was very through but quick. I will be back again.

I do not recommend this place now that it’s be fine been bought out by another company. An oil change that normally costs like 40 ended up costing me almost $200 in the end. I had a lot of issues with my car the next day. I had to have it towed and the mechanic said they didn’t do the oil change good so it caused smoking in my engine. They also didn’t change the air filter like they used to do before and that was causing my car to not even start. I am very dissatisfied with this place and won’t be returning.

Take 5 on Ave Q in Lubbock Tx has some of the most inconsiderate workers there. I sat there for 45mins when an oil change supposedly takes 10mins. I left and came back and it was as if I was being ignored. A Thomas who claimed he was an Assistant was the one I spoke to and whom I felt was very rude with the way he talked with me. I was there to get air in my tires and dont feel I should have sat there for over 45mins. If Boltons were still there would not have to worry and this would not be the 1st complaint. Need more respectful workers when it comes to the public.

Ive been waiting for over an hour and a half because theres just one guy doing the oil changes for two lines, and now my afternoon is wasted. This is unacceptable.
