The nail tech was really nice. She made my nails look great, as well! The place was a bit dirty. My daughter was having a pedicure and the pillow had hair all over it, like someone had just had their hair cut on it. Another pillow had what looked like a blood stain. For the prices, I really figured the place would be cleaner. I also didnt get my nail polish fully removed (regular polish), so as my gel is chipping and coming off (less than a week later), I can see red polish underneath. I love getting my brows waxed here, but Im not sure Ill be back for nails, which is disappointing because of the natural products used.

My first time here was excellent.

Several of my friends have gone to this nail salon trying to opt for a more luxury experience and they were scammed out of their money. After making a reservation online they were REFUSED service and then charged a CANCELATION FEE. They were neither late, nor did they cancel. Im not sure if it was because of the color of their skin but once is a outlier more than that is a pattern. In this day and age you just expect better than this.

I booked my appointment the day before getting my manicure. I was greeted at the front desk by name by the most stylish lady I’ve seen in a while. She was super sweet and respectful. My nail artist was hands down amazing Borgan. The place was impressively clean and didn’t have a awful nail place smell! I enjoyed my glass of wine as Borgan did her magic. I definitely will be back soon. Great place book your appointment now!

Really nice, clean place with excellent pricing, and they did a great job on my nails. I didn’t go here specifically because of their more holistic approach to nails, but I have to admit that my nails feel SO much stronger and healthier than when I go to regular salons.The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because my nail tech was verrrry slow (granted it was because she wanted every nail to be perfect, but if she had asked I would have told her I’m not that picky), and because when I first walked in a bunch of the nail techs were up gathered around the front talking to the front desk girl, and it took a solid couple of minutes before they ever acknowledged me. It was very frustrating to be the only customer in the place and have my nail tech literally waiting on me to be checked in so we could start.

This place is awesome! An upscale look and feel, but inviting and accessible for everyone!I was greeted with a happy smile and a sense of comfort and relaxation. I wanted a quick manicure since my nails were in need of TLC.I was offered and accepted a delicious mimosa and then sat right down for my service. The technician was very nice and polite. The conversation went at my pace without to much chatter and just enough talk for me to take in the experience. When she finished my nails and hands looked totally transformed.This is a great place. As most nail salons cater to the women crowd, Paint Nail Bar was also very welcoming for a guy!

I love talking to the young girls as they do my nails. They are so polite and fun. It is always a pleasure to get my nails done. The gel products are great. The store is super clean and comfortable. I am so glad we have this store in Lubbock.

Went to Paint Nail Bar for the first time this week and it was amazing!! It will definitely be my go to place from now on! One of the best pedicures I’ve ever had! The service is great. My manicures always last for a long time. The only thing is its really hard to do walk ins they almost always do appointments. But Im okay with that. The price is very affordable. This is a very good place.

Kadija really takes pride in her work focused on me, she wasnt in a hurry to get another customer in like other places trying to work on more then one. The receptionist was so sweet kept asking If I needed more wine very attentive . The atmosphere was awesome will definitely be back the prices are very good, not pricey at all

I’ve been getting my manicure here for at least 6 months now. I’m always treated with kindness and the best service! It is spotless and absolutely no chemical smell. Their gel manis last 2 weeks minimum but mine consistently last 3. Can’t recommend them enough!

This was my first time here and my first experience with the gel overlay. The overlay could have been a little smoother, but overall this is by far the best service I have ever had. I will definitely be back even driving from Plainview. The products are great. The service was excellent and the facility is super nice.

The nail tech cut my finger and it bled a lot more than it should have. The salon manager blamed the weather saying oh well its dry here in west texas so its not uncommon. She didnt not apologize or offer a refund.

Bummed was really wanting to give this place a shot. Seemed unreasonable over the phone. Called for an appointment for 10 am. She said that works, then put me on hold. She then said, since you need soak off I will have to be there at 9:45 (since I guess they do not allow soak off during your appointment like most places do) at this point, 9:45 was literally 3 minutes away which she knew. I told her I do not live far, so could probably make it at 9:50. She said no, that would not be enough time. I was confused, I said 5 minutes difference, is that big of a deal, never been an issue anywhere else, and she said yes. I realize they are probably busy, but just seemed unreasonable, in that I was was willing to head over ASAP. Oh well better luck elsewhere.

I had the MOST luxurious experience at Paint Nail Bar in Lubbock. I have literally never been to a nicer nail salon. The staff was courteous and the environment was just lovely. Such a great experience. I paid $48 for a gel pedicure, and it still looks perfect two weeks later. I love that they use high quality products that have no smell, like the bioseaweed gel. The chairs are super comfortable, the enviornment is great, and they sterilize everything for each person. I will definitely go out of my way to come here again when I am in town!

My friend and I went here to celebrate my birthday. She got a pedi and I got a mani. I got a girl who was very awkward around me and wouldnt talk to me. I tried making conversation but she was not having it and would only utter a few words to me. She did an okay job on mine but my friend had a great experience. Girl was very nice and talked to both us. Her toes looked amazing. I wont be back unless someone offers to pay. I cant spend that amount of money for a mediocre nail job that I can do at home for cheaper.

UPDATE: The ladies at Paint truly care about the satisfaction of their clients. I was given a complimentary redo of my pedicure because my initial experience was so bad. This time the pedicure was a completely different experience! It was awesome! Super happy with the results and the tech this time. April was awesome and definitely knows how to give a great pedicure. I will now be a repeat customer here. Thank you, ladies for allowing me another opportunity to try your salon out and for correcting the issue!The environment is awesome (hence 2 stars); very clean and aesthetically pleasing. With that being said, my pedicure was pathetic. The tech was very nice, but Im not sure she knew what she was doing. My feet looked just as bad or worse after my pedicure than they did when I went in. The acid treatment did nothing. The paraffin wasnt left on long enough to make any difference. She barely scrubbed my heels and I had to go home after my appointment to scrub my heels with my own pumice as they were incredibly rough after my pedicure (may be from the acid?) When the tech applied the polish, it looked very sloppy and overly thick. Even though she put a topcoat on, the polish was very dull and sticky for about 2 hours after I left. Shortly thereafter, the polish literally started rolling off of my toenails. Im not sure if there was residue from the paraffin still on my nails, but the polish did not stick. I literally threw away $65+ for a pedicure worth $20 at best. 55 minutes is not long enough for a $65 pedicure. The whole thing just felt rushed and I found it hard to relax. While I appreciate the atmosphere, I did not appreciate the fact that I wasted my money on such an overpriced service. There are several other places in town who actually live up to their $65 pedicure. This place is definitely not one of them. I most likely won’t be going back.

My first experience with Paint Nail Bar, yesterday, was a definate treat. I was so pleased with the clean, professional environment. I’m alittle disappointed with this nail place. I like the fact that it doesn’t stink, it’s really cute on the inside, and the technicians that I have had have been very nice. The first time I went I got a gel manicure. Mariah took her time and was super sweet. The manicure started chipping and lifting less than a week later. The second time I went was yesterday. I got the uptown girl mani and pedi combo. I had Kristie this time. She was really nice also. The pedicure was okay. The manicure was a joke. I paid $30 for her to trim my cuticles and paint my nails. And my nails look like I did them myself this morning. All I did after my appointment yesterday was grocery shop and fold laundry. It’s frustetating spending almost $100 and having really nothing to show for it. I don’t think I’ll be going back.
