What kind of service is this? This guy was told the wax was too hot and he continues to wax my nieces eyebrows and here is the final product. He even made her pay for this and refused to give her his name. This is so wrong on so many levels. Vintage nails better get in touch with her or else. This is unacceptable

Henry was a sweet guy, super funny. Unfortunately my Nails turned out terrible. I feel as if no one in there is actually certified. Would never recommend or go there again. I’ve done better acrylics on myself and I don’t do it for a living.

This was my 1st there. They were super nice. Henry and his wife were very sweet and have great hospitality! Henry is great with his customers he makes conversation with them, jokes around, and makes you laugh a lot! He is a funny guy. The wait time was long, but it was late and they did their best for 4 of us. Overall a great experience!

Me and my husband went in for pedicures, I called they said no wait. Yet we still waited 30 mins. The complimentary drinks were hot, my water was cold. Now my massage was AMAZING. But the rest of it was horrible, they didnt get all the callus off my feet, they charged me to use a card to pay. They rushed us out with my nails still wet so they got messed up. We will NOT be going back

My experience was ok. My manicure was a little rushed because of the lack of nail techs and too many nails needing to be done. Henry did my gel polish and its hella uneven and bubbly. Some pieces didnt set and chipped off before I even left. He had me switching hands under the light so quickly that I think things just didnt set right. Just very bumpy all around. I did enjoy my pedicure. The older lady that did it didnt speak English but she was so sweet and very attentive and took her time to make sure everything was well done.

The customer service is horrible . This place is a joke. None of them are licensed and only there for the money. My nails were so thin and broke a few hours after leaving and the wax was so hot I had to tell the guy to stop in the middle of his service!

I had the best time here! The guy that did my neices nails was awesome he made us laugh and had a good time. There was only 2 guys working on a Sunday and had 5 people waiting to get serviced and kept high spirts the whole time!! Will defiantly be back and recommend anyone to go there for amazing nails and service.

I kid you not, I called to find out the price of an eyebrow wax... And the woman who picked up the phone said Im sorry were too busy to give you a for sure price right now. Youre too busy? It took you longer to say that sentence.Something about this doesnt seem quite right.

Had a great experience first few times going there but after my last visit won’t be back. Olivia who did my nails was in a rush and did not take her time. They started chipping off a day later. She also lied about giving me a student discount. I would have appreciated her saying that she couldn’t offer me a discount more instead of her lying.

I went to this nail salon to get my nails done. I’ve had them for about a week or so and have already had two nails crack in the middle with have broken off and taken my real nail off with it. It is really painful. I know it’s nothing I’ve done to them because I have never had this issue with fake nails and I go get them done pretty often. While I was there they tore up my cuticles so bad they were sore for a few days and made me bleed a few times. I understand accidents happen but for it to continuously happen on every finger is unnecessary. I do not suggest going here. It is not worth your money.

I went last night 3 hours just to leave Henry told my daughter her nails bed was too small so made coffins nails ugly and to top it off its Friday ladies want to get all pampered up and it was only him doing nails first and last period for real time I go a lot of people left so much money for nothing

Ok, time for an update.The only reason that I started coming here was because my favorite technician worked here. she has since left to a different salon that treats customers better.Ill keep my review simple and user friendly:PROS:- on the surface the salon is visually pleasing and well maintainedCONS:-they dont sanitize pedicure tools between customers (look out if you dont want hepatitis)- they speak badly about customers behind their backs and are low key racist- they re use the paraffin wax, rarely replacing (dont #treatyoself on a deluxe pedi)- they serve alcohol to minors and once when I was there they had a minor (about 12 years old) serving alcohol.- they have crazy long wait times and will lie to you about how long youll be waiting, even if you make an appointment.- they hire inexperienced unlicensed people who dont know what theyre doing- the times that I have visited and not gone to my preferred tech my nails look HORRIBLElong story short there are lots of improvements to be made and this salon just isnt quite up to par.

Will not be going back. I waited 2 hours WITH an appointment. Me and my friends nails were the same price and i got shellac and she got dip. ($50) within 2 days four of my nails on the same hand fell off. Did not break, just fell off. I work 6:30am-7:30pm so i could not go in to fix them. I go in 6 days after I got them done, and they said I would have to pay $15. A waste of $50.

Vintage Nails & Spa has a wonderful setting as well. It is peaceful and relaxing! This place is definitely the best in town!

I have been going to this nail salon for months. I absolutely love it here! Henry usually does my nails and does an amazing job! Olivia does my 11 year olds nails and she gets compliments all the time! The staff is friendly and helpful and the shop is very welcoming. I have never seen the salon “dirty” or in any disarray. I have never had a bad experience here and I won’t go to any other salon. I get asked about my nails every week and I always recommend everyone to come see Henry and his staff. They are absolutely amazing and I love them and this salon! Best in Lubbock by far!

I have gotten my nails done all over Lubbock and vintage by far has the best prices and does the best job. Sometimes there’s a bit of a wait but honestly that’s to be expected because of my previous statement. They always do exactly what i ask and strive to make sure i love my nails before i leave their establishment.

This is the rudest and most degrading nail salon I have ever been to. If I could I would give them a negative 5.I walked in and they didn’t not greet me in a friendly manner but said what did I want. I told them I wanted just an eyebrow wax and the man, which I’m guessing was the owner, said they were busy and to go somewhere else. I was shocked and thought I had misheard him but then he repeated it again and more rudely said to leave and go somewhere else. It was highly embarrassing and the white woman that was having her nails done by him laughed. I was embarrassed and left quickly. WORST PLACE EVER!

The staff were super friendly and funny. Henry aka Superman (lol) did my pedicure and gel nails - they look great. Prices are very reasonable. So glad to find a great nail salon! I really enjoyed myself while being pampered.

Usually this place is 5/5But today I went and this guy who I’ve never seen before did my nails and they look HORRIBLE. He was talking to a coworker the whole time and even messed them up and had to redo a hand. I have color on my skin around the nail, they’re not even, and corners are not done even when I asked him to fix them. Only let Olivia or Henry do your nails

Showed up on Saturday afternoon and had to wait 30 minutes, which is totally fine and expected for the busiest day of the week. But AFTER I was seated and began my pedicure, it took over 2 hours to finish a shellac pedicure and manicure. On top of that, the shellac started chipping after two days. I won’t be coming back.

I love this place! Olivia and Henry treat everybody like they aren’t just clients but friends! The quality is great. It reminds me of the salons I have frequented in LA.

He did an Amazing job on my nails but Henry was very aggressive left shellac all over my fingers and super glue that I had to pill off. My nails are very sore from where he was shaping them and bentA couple nails back. Idk if he was having a bad day or what but he needs to get it together he did a good job but I won’t be come back.

This place deserves zero stars in my book. I just walked in here not even 10 min ago was told i could get in right away and then asked how long the wait was for dip and got told 45 min. I also was talked about by all the workers in there. They have no sense of time management, insanely rude, and have zero customer service experience. This place needs to learn how to work their job. I am very disappointed. 2 people working at a nail salon is in acceptable especially when it is a Friday. Don’t go here.

We made a 3:30 appointment, and they called us at 2:20 saying they could get us in so we went early only to wait for over an hour! They had our nails soaking for over 30 minutes. They cut our nails so short our fingers started bleeding and were VERY rude. They made racial slurs and talked about the butt sizes of the girls they were helping. Very unprofessional.

Very misleading pricing. Their truck parked outside says a shellac pedicure is $35. I was charged $45. I asked if I could use my student ID for the 20% off that was also on the truck, and Henrys wife said they only give $5 off; no more. She even ran off a potential customer because the customer had a coupon that her cousin used the day before, and swore they never take coupons. On top of that, my feet were practically butchered. The lady filed them so thin, it was burning me. Then she pulled my cuticles so roughly, that every toe on my left foot, and three on my right, bled nonstop.

Very clean. They are good at doing my Talon like toenails. And never judge. Great atmosphere.

The worst nail salon I have been to in Lubbock. Got my nails done and the lady cut 3 different fingers. Then two days later 3 nails had already broke off. The people there are rude . The girl who did my nails was on the phone FaceTiming the first 20 mins into my nails . Very unorganized

1 or 2 of the staff was nice, however two of them got into a fight while I was there getting my nails done. I saw one of the other staff get mad at a client simply because she wanted her nails to be more thinned out. In addition to this, the guy Im guessing the owner who did my nails filed down my FINGERTIPS really bad to where they were raw and made the nails uneven and thick. Also it was incredibly dirty. When they sat me down in a chair, they hadnt even cleaned the desk before starting on me. There was nail shavings EVERYWHERE. They also rush you a lot and when I first went in he said it would be $45 but after I sat down and he got started he raised it to $50, which was because I was getting almond shaped. But it bothered me because he didnt tell me beforehand. I usually dont write bad reviews but due to it being so dirty I wanted to mention it.

Ive been coming to Vintage Nails well over 1 year now i come in twice a month for my Nails. Every single time i have came here they have treated me nicely and very welcoming.Olivia will always ask if I am satisfied with my nails there has been times where i was not to happy and she took the nail set off and restarted my nails with a smile...Now Thats Great service...Im reading many bad reviews which I have yet to experience anythiby bad from this place..Yes this Salon is always busy just that alone should let yall know its a Great place to go..❤

Was not a long wait to get started but getting the manicure took a very long time to finish. The pricing said $15 but then they somehow added an additional $10!

Went at 1 pm on Saturday May 10, asked if I could get a mani/pedi their was only one customer inside getting a manicure and the man told me they were too busy!! ALL THE OTHER EMPLOYEES WERE JUST SITTING AROUND!!

Started going here since mid summer and its where I go to now. Olivia, Henry, and Candy (hope I spelled that right) are all awesome!!

Took a while to get my shellac done and was $10 extra for the “manicure” which was basically just pushing my cuticles back.

I have been here a few times now as a TTU student. One of the reasons I loved Vintage was their prices. Bak home, i pay $25 for a manicure. However today my shellac mani was $35 and they werent accepting student discounts. I normally would never ever spend more than $30 for a shellac mani but I was unaware that they raised their prices due to Covid. However, besides the surprise new prices, Peter did my manicure and did a wonderful job. He took his time and I requesting to not use the drill and he didnt give me a hard time about it. I def recommend Peter to anyone! I will be asking for him next time :)
