The water has been overflowing in the apartment we are staying for a while now. It over flows in the interval of 2-3 months. When the water overflows it covers all the floors, sometimes even urination overflows too. We have experience this 7-8 times since we stayed. The maintenance guy comes over resolve the problem but still the water overflows after some time interval. We have requested the manger to change the room but she keeps on saying she has no units available. Its been almost 3 weeks that we have requested for a room change due to this problem. Worst experience ever from only this view point. Thank You!

----Edit: An important note, this complex does seem to be relatively free of pests in the apartments themselves, which is a challenge most complexes struggle with. Additionally, the pool has been open as well.----This complex has recently come under new ownership during this summer. With the change in ownership, there have been many ongoing renovations to the complex, including new paint and siding for the exterior, replacement of old windows, and renovations of the main office. For the improvements they are making, there still remains much that the complex simply has not addressed yet. It is mid July, and the pool remains unclean and locked. The owners have prioritised the most visible issues, like painting, and ignored the issues that affect the residents directly. There is so much dog feces on the grounds, the smell is unavoidable. The complex has also ignored any cleaning services for the facilities in its entirety, including the stairwells and common laundry room, with many machines filled with insects, unused laundry soap, and other Out of Order machines. While the owners may have high hopes for the complex after all their planned upgrades are complete, the current residents suffer from the owners ignoring quality of living requirements for the duration.I am currently living in a ~750 sqft 1Bed/1Bath at $625 a month, all bills paid. This is absolutely not worth it at this time. Currently I cannot recommend the complex for any college students who wish for acceptable living arrangements.I am looking forward to the end of my lease. At least the air conditioning works without issue, so at least it isnt absolutely intolerable at the moment.

Ive only been here about a week and my encounters with staff and maintenance have been friendly. Maintenance was really great and they got my fridge replaced within 2 days after I reported it wasnt working. However although they provide free internet they require you to buy a modem and call Suddenlink to set it up for you rather than already having it set up and covered. The staircase area always has a really nasty smell. Some of the doors to the complex buildings themselves are broken. And there were bugs inside the apartment room the day we moved in. It genuinely looked like it hadnt really been cleaned at all. The pool has not been cleaned either and is locked closed. When looking for information about the apartments they have that the washer/ dryer is outside the rooms, but they never said anything about the fact that the washer and dryer area is like a laundromat in which you have to pay $2.00 to wash clothes than another $0.75 to dry clothes which completely caught me off guard when I did try to go do my laundry. And yes I called and spoke to people at the office on many occasions about thing that I should know before signing my lease and what I should expect and they would mention the washer/dryer was outside the complex but not that we had to pay to use them.

We recently moved out of college pointe. Its not a place where you can live peacefully. Not because of the environment, but you will have trouble with the management.About 3 managements changed over the period we stayed there and none of them were least concerned about your issues. We had many issues to share with you but these are some of the most irritating situations we faced.Very often, you will have a water shutdown. They hardly respond to mails regarding issues. They are not always available in office during their office hours. We had a water leakage problem from ceiling. We complained a lot for about 6 months and finally got that resolved. And finally when we moved out, the management inspected the apartment and they gave us a final statement saying no issues. A month later the new management came in and they charged us a $160 as final utility and bad carpet fine. Being honest we paid the final utility with the old management and we got carpet cleaned and the old management had said nothing at all. They said its all perfect. We have proofs of paid utility bill and carpet clean bill. But these new guys who came in after we moved out want us to pay these bills again. Dont they inherit records from old management?Seriously, these guys are the one you want to sue.And believe me these guys bribed the residents a quarter roll for writing positive review online. Such a great people with great thoughts.

Please Listen!!!! STAY AWAY!!! I lived here for 2 years!!! I was a faithful tenant who got screwed in the end. This complex would leave their sprinkler system on and the water would come into my apartment and leave Mildew on MY rug!!! They charged me $800 on move out!! They claimed I was responsible for the carpet!! And they kept my deposit as well. Also the dish washer had so many stains on move In. The tub was also filthy on move in. These people are money hungry and will scam you. Worst apartment complex hands down.

The apartment is quiet old but a good value for the money spent on rent, if you go to Texas Tech University. The property is close to TTU and TTUHSC. The apartment even has its own laundry facility. There is a bus service to and from the university to this property, meaning you dont really have to drive to campus. This apartment is student friendly. Be reminded that the apartment is not a furnished apartment like other student living apartments in Lubbock.

I have lived at College Pointe for 3 years. I dont feel that any bad experiences happened here that werent rectified. The buildings are a bit old, but anytime I had a problem, the maintenance staff was there either that day or the next to fix what he could and order parts if necessary. As far as bugs go, I didnt have a problem because I cleaned up after myself in my apartment. The only reason I left is because I moved into a house with my wife. The current manager, Gen, is a great person to work with. When I moved out, my entire deposit was returned to me.This apartment is a great place to stay for a student at Tech. It takes about 10 minutes to arrive to class on a bike, or just a few minutes driving.I feel that if you pay your rent on time and clean up after your mess, this apartment complex is a great place to stay.

Smokehouse. Dont deserve even single star. In last one year, I complained 4 time about smoking problems from some ppl. Cant sit in my hall because poor construction and smoke smell. Management just put notice in front of building. Dont bother to take any action. Instead on checking property, prefer to stay in office. No video surveillance and no facilities. U will see sewer problem in laundry room. There is free and unrestricted restroom for pets on the ground. Just give them rent on time and live with unsolved problem. No matter how u will live. Their duties are just for money not for clients. Its better not to select this property. There are many good options in Lubbock.

Property Manager Gen Dorn is Amazingly helpful and Chris the maintenace tech is constantly making sure the property is taken care of. We could of chosen any other property to move in to. We chose College Pointe for several reasons. Its location to Texas Tech, The property is clean, The residents and staff are friendly.. I stayed here for half a year, I was not satisfied. The internet is horrible which is provided by Suddenlink, which is also horrible. The service was slow. They take ages to respond to maintenance issues. However it is cheap and the bus stop is literally right next door. I would not stay here if I had an opportunity.

College Point is the worst apartment building to live across from. Trash dumpsters are full with trash over flowing all the time. I have lived here abt 25yrs and this is the worst management ever. Looks like we live in a 33rd world country...I guess thats where their tenants come from. Not a nice place to live. Wish they would just demolish this piece of crap building. Roach and nice infested apartments.

Maybe it used to be a good place before 2002 but it no longer is. Rude manager, poor service, what do I have to say? The central cooling/heating system never works fine over a single week before it breaks down again. Further more, they are trying to rip you off when you move out. You can never get your deposit back.Besides, they will do full paint, replace window blinds after you move out ---- and they will bill you for all those stuff.I wont recommend this apts to anyone.

Be careful when you moved out...your final bill is NOT your final bill. I lived at College Pointe for over 3 years. When I moved out I didnt mind if I get my deposit back or not because I understand there will be wear and tear over the years that would need a little TLC. I had carpet shampoo...scrub bathroom and bleach everything...replace all light bulbs....Pretty much did my best to left the place with little to nothing to be move in ready. Yet somehow my final bill was $80 some...3 months later after I had moved out I received a call for the new final bill for $180 something????!!!! I was a faithful tenant...was on time with rent for over 3 years every single time!!! And this is how they treat you after you moved out. SMH. Very disappointed!!!! I gave it 2 stars due to they were helpful with maintenance when I was there.

Gen Dorn is an awesome property manager she has extreme kindness and customer service expertise. She is the best property manager Grassano has hired. Her kindness, professionalism, understanding, and reasonable ability to give to her residence is a peaceful pleasure. My son resides at the property while attending Texax Tech University Collge ( Anjeus Jones).Im not impressed by the property make-up, however impressed with Gens great managing skills to better serve her residence and be their voice. Keep up the awesome work and keep shinning with being the front woman for Grassano Properties. The property could use an extreme makeover and until that is done it is necessary to lower the rent amount for these college students due to the condition of the inside and outside of the properties appearance. Thanks again Gen Dorn you are greatly appreciated.Ms. Cloud
