From move in to current resident the ladies in the office and maintenance staff are very kind, helpful and efficient! The property is beautifully landscaped, very well maintained and quiet. I really love the community here!
The greatest group of professionals I have come to admire, the way they take pride in keeping the property, the office personnel always ready to go above and beyond for residents. The Maintenance crew I could honestly give 5 stars for work ethic and commitment to completing all work request. I have to say I am highly satisfied with this property and would gladly recommend to anyone to make this their home too.
With all the uncertainty of this year I was skeptical about moving across the state in the middle of a pandemic. One of the only certainties was choosing Savannah Oaks Apartments! Immediately from touring I felt welcomed, the staff is very friendly, and gave a level of reassurance unmatched to other leasing experiences. The one maintenance request I’ve had so far was taken care of the same day. The amount of care that goes into the property and building a rapport with us residents made this property stand out in my search. The gated community feels safe, the laundry facility is tidy, as well as convenient & affordable. I really enjoy the pool open year round especially this past hot summer we had. I was worried about meeting people being new in town, but this place truly feels like home! With the quaint layout it’s given me the opportunity to get to know my neighbors and build a community- you just don’t find places like Savannah Oaks these days. The landscaping is also what sets this property apart from the rest. I quickly found the greenery in west Texas can be hard to come by & here it is always well maintained thanks to the landscaper who works around the clock! To watch it change with the seasons reminds me of where I grew up. The pool view while working out feels very classy. If you’re looking for affordable living without compromising on price, space, or comfortability I would 100% recommend Savannah Oaks!
Just wanted to express how appreciative I am of the staff at Savannah Oaks! They seriously go above and beyond for us residents, and their efforts have not gone unnoticed. Especially lately with this crazy Lubbock weather. From maintenance going out of their way to clear the dirt from our patios after the recent dust storm, to ensuring there’s ice melt dispersed and available in now the winter storm we’ve been experiencing. Rain or shine you can count on them. I’ve never experienced such a reliable apartment community, and consistent! I’m so thankful despite Covid the office has done a fantastic job at coming up with fun remote resident events! There’s been a few times I wasn’t able to get off work in time to grab my packages or laundry tokens from the office, but any time they’ve been so nice to help accommodate. Thank y’all for everything that you do!!
Just wanted to say thank you to the nice and respectful staff they were a big help to me.unfortunately I was not able to get a place there due to an issue but to anyone who is interested in an apt there I suggest that you go to Savannah oaks they are nice Apts and the staff is great thanks once again to you all🙏🙏
Ive lived at Savannah Oaks apartments for 1 1/2 yrs and it is a fantastic apartment complex. The community is very friendly and the manager, Katrina and her staff, are top notch professionals as well as attentive and caring towards the residents. The pool, business center, laundry room and property are always well maintained. The grounds are well kept with seasonal plantings of flowers which I love! I have had a couple of maintenance requests and Jason is just superb! Hes knowledgeable, efficient and very kind. I love the location as it is easy to get to the Loop and Marsha Sharp, restaurants and any shopping I need to do. Whether your single or a family, I highly recommend making your home at Savannah Oaks!
Lived here for a little over 2 years and never had any issues. Staff is very friendly and maintenance is the best I have seen compared to the many other complexes we have lived in. Very nice community.
Friendly staff and a beautiful apartment at an amazing price. Out of all the occupants who live weve only ran into one maybe 2 rude people. Everyone else is super friendly, if you have young kids I highly recommend this place since theres kids 24/7 outside. Theyre all playful and welcoming of my niece and nephew when they come to visit. The staff is friendly and weve only had one issue that was fixed within 48 hours of bringing it up. Well definitely be renewing our lease.
Sadly, I only lived at Savannah Oaks for one year but it was a great place to rent. If I had not relocated to Dallas, I would have definitely renewed my lease. Maintenance issues were usually fixed the day I requested them, the online portal for paying rent was very user friendly, and the management has always been quick to help with any concerns.
I lived at Savannah Oaks for 2 years. It was definitely a nice change of pace from all the college based apartments I lived in before. Management and Staff were very welcoming and supportive; made it feel like a friendly community rather than just a source of income. I never had any bad to say about the place as a whole, they have done a lot to improve the property and the experience for the residents. They do the little things that many apartment complexes do not do. If you are looking for a nice place to stay, go see the lovely ladies in the office and I am sure they will take care of you!
Love living here, great community, some people can’t mind their business but that happens everywhere!
Leased apt J104 Savannah Oaks Apartment 5204 50th Street, Lubbock TX for my daughter to attend school at Texas Tech University. We ( parents) helped our daughter move in from California on May 2017. First night we moved in, the carpet was stinky and smelled like dog poop. I mentioned this to the administration the next day and manager just smiled. So, I cleaned the carpet myself with baking soda to lessen the stinky smell. In September, when a tenant moved in on the 2nd floor, every time they use their bathroom, it leaks into my daughters bathroom. She complained in writing to the administration . They came and spray paint the holes that leaked until the ceiling fell on my daughters bathroom floor . They patched the big hole and let my daughter use the bathroom in their model unit. Very inconvenient and unsafe considering my daughter takes showers when she comes home from her clinicals at 2 am. I mentioned to the administration to change the whole ceiling, a porous material... and since it was being wet with sewer for quite awhile it is a strong ground for molds to grow, but they insisted it was safe. Her dishwasher and kitchen sink backs-up with sewer as well when upstairs tenant use their dishwasher or sink. My daughter had frequent visits to urgent care due to sore throat, infected mosquito bites, cough and skin diseases due to these very unsanitary living condition. A third world place in America!!! We asked for transfer to another unit but manager refused. Therefore, I cut my lease short and found a very good, beautiful and clean apartment where my daughter is healthy, happy and safe now. I wrote a complaint about this to the Health Department .And may KARMA comes back to their business. I hope nobody in this world will go through where my daughter had gone through.
If your looking for a place to live cheap in rent, clean, peaceful, and nice staff, this is the one.Just because some people had a simple bad experience doesn’t mean this is the worst, I’ve been here for almost 3 yr and haven’t had a problem at all.
Its not the single pane windows or the 1950s construction style, the crumby school district or even the location right next to a busy street that make this place an undesirable place to live. Nope, its the management. We lived here when we first moved to town because we needed a decent place to stay till we could look around to find a better place. With good management it could have been so much better. Even the grounds people hated the management and as a result they often had difficulties finding decent groundsmen. I wont go into detail about our stay but if I were you, ... good luck lol. We will definitely not refer others to this place.
Friendly staff, amazing place to live in
Loved living here!
