I had just got a ticket for an expired inspection and needed to get it renewed immediately. I went to Lexington Gulf after 5pm. Their inspection station closed at 5, but they did me a favor and inspected my car so I could get the sticker. On top of that Inspection stations require cash, which I did not have on me and they let me use credit. Highly recommend.

I had a tough car situation and Triple A told me that I would have a 4 hour wait before any of their drivers would get to me.After calling/dealing with different towing companies in the area AND even the Lexington police, I was so lucky to have called this location. George was kind and understanding, and saved me and my car!He is an honest man, kept his word, and even arrived earlier than scheduled! George is very knowledgable and the service provided was extremely helpful.Most places are just looking to make a dollar, but you can tell that they value their customers.

My car recently broke down on the road I had it towed to Lexington Gulf, the mechanics there are great they worked on my car on the same day because they knew it was a emergency they did a great job at a very affordable price. I will continue to use George as my mechanic from now on they are very honest And Very professional thank you guys for working on my car and taking care of it.

One of the only places to get a state inspection in Lexington, so it is best to go in the middle of the month for that. I’ve visited them for years for various repairs, inspections, and full service gas. The folks who work here are nice people and treat you well.

First, the men who work here are extremely rude. Terrible customer service. After the first visit for an inspection sticker I shrugged it off and assumed Id caught them on a bad day. Several visits later and their bad attitudes were consistent. They bark orders at and talk down to customers. Lastly, they misdiagnosed an issue with my brakes that ended up being very costly for me. I recommend going anywhere else.

Unprofessional and scammers. Went there for the first time for car inspection and the worker tried to rip me off $300 claiming there is something wrong with rear breaks and he cant pass the car. He said he will fix it for $300. I took the car to my mechanic and he told me there is nothing wrong with my car. I took the car back to this place and the guy in very rude tone said he will pass the car this time but not next time; the breaks needs to be fixed first. 12 months later, I took the car for inspection to a place Bedford and the car passed with no issues even though for the one whole year, I was driving it as usual and didnt require fixing anything. What a rip off. Stay away from this place.

Went in for an inspection. They person at the desk was friendly and told me it would take 15 mins once the car was in there service bay. There was someone ahead of me so got in and out in about 25 mins.

Did my inspection there fix my brakes and oil change the treat me great I would recommend this place to everyone

This place is a complete rip off. Stay away. 40.00 to change a tire. That’s you providing the tire yourself. Balancing not included 40.00 for 15 mins of labor 160.00 an hours stay away.

Just did my Tesla Model X inspection here. I brought my own Jack Pad Adapter for extra battery protection and they willingly used them under the jack points for me. Just ask for Ricky. He is the person you want to see. He has a lot of experience for Tesla inspection. Professional and friendly service.

I came here for the first time for a state inspection early on a Friday morning. There were two people already in line which I kind of expected (it was getting close to the end of the month). The staff were very polite and gave me an accurate wait time. While I was waiting a few more people came in for inspections and oil changes. Everyone seemed to know the mechanics by name, as did the mechanics know the customers names. I could tell they have a really strong customer relationship. Ill definitely be coming back here in the future.

Great friendly staff. Went there for an inspection on the very last day. There was a line of people, but I decided to wait. The guy in the office always kept me updated on where I was in line. Then, the MA inspection system crashed. Like, in the entire state, crashed. Ricky came in and gave everyone an update and manged the whole fiasco with a smile. Great attitude. The system eventually came back and I got my inspection. You can tell more about a place by the way they handle an unfortunate situation. They did great, even with one customer being irate even though it wasnt the stations fault. Great crew there.

Recently had my car inspected here. The gentleman that helped me was very nice and told me the cost up front, $35 cash. I was able to leave my car parked and wait inside while it was inspected. It was done in about 10 minutes and they had my car waiting in the front, and it was started with the AC running (it was a hot day!). I will definitely come here again and highly recommend them.

I went there for an inspection sticker. The guy left car running with door open and went out getting lunch for 15-20 min. I failed the inspection due to the darkness of windows - ridiculous. Furthermore, you can only pay cash for the inspection and I had to rush to ATM. However, I went to another place and passed the inspection and wasted $35 inspection fee.

I have known Sam for over 15 yrs. Whenever I have a question or concern I can stop in and run the issue by Sam or Ricky. I never feel that unnecessary repairs are suggested and whenever work is performed it is done right the first time. Finding a reliable and honest gas station / repair shop allows me to keep my cars running for over 200,000 miles. Whenever anybody in the Lexington area is looking for a mechanic I refer Sam @ The Gulf.

I went for an annual inspection on literally the last day and almost the last possible hour of the month. My regular fuel stop over on Lowell St. had a line of 6-7 vehicles waiting for inspections; I groaned when I saw that, and decided to come over here.What a stroke of luck. There was no line whatsoever. The guys said, wait a minute -- and it was literally a minute -- and then they took my car, very quickly ran the inspection, and I was out of there in probably 10-12 minutes.

Extremely rude and unhelpful when trying to get a state inspection - especially the gas station attendant. Awful
