I was experiencing a “wobble” in my front end, and went in to have my tires balanced/rotated. I found out both my front tires were about to come apart due to the belts beginning to shred. Having recently experienced some major health issues and not working for the last three months, this branch was amazing about getting me two tires so that I could not only get home safely, but also to hopefully be able to get back to work.Kiddos to the staff and to Travis for being such wonderful people to do business with!

The Lexington GoodYear failed to let me know my tires requested online weren’t in stock for my scheduled appointment.Instead, I travel to this Discount Tire shop a little down the road and they were able to help me with a set of 4x All Terrain tires for an affordable price. They were able to beat their competition as well as the other Discount Tire shop in Columbia. To top this experience, they’re quick, professional and attentive to detail. Had an appointment 3 weeks ago for a set of 4 new tires. Tire pressure sensor recalibration wasnt completed at this appointment. So I returned today with a 12:30 appointment to have that completed (which should have been done at the original appointment) as well as an under-warranty nail plug repair. Two and a half hours later, my vehicle has not moved from the spot I parked it. In the meantime, multiple walk ins have come in, been serviced, and left. I wont be returning for business at this location for the next set of tires I need next month on our other vehicle.

I called and ordered four tires for my car. I also wanted to schedule an appointment to have them installed. This was done seamlessly. I received a call the very next day confirming my tires had been delivered, and to confirm my appointment. I arrived for my appointment about 15 minutes early. Autumn the lady at the front desk was very busy, but still took the time to help me and get me checked in within a timely manner. My car was almost immediately in the garage being worked on. I was very impressed. I was in and out in less than an hour. Four new tires installed and great customer service. This was my second time here, and I will be back. The date of my visit was 7-22-21.Also, I had to drive in on a donut because I had a flat. They placed the donut back in my trunk, secured it, and straightened everything back up in my trunk. Top notch service!

Used to go to the one near Blythewood but moved across town and came here. Mike the manager there is great and so is his staff. It says a lot to me when Mike was out there helping his team getting his hands dirty. They did everything possible to get me out as fast as possible. I won’t go anywhere else.

DT was busy when I arrived but I made an appointment and got there a little early. My vehicle was done in an hour with 4 new tires, balanced, and mounted. I was pleased with the turn around.Great prices and they give a military discount off each tire which is a nice bonus. DT was less money than any other tire place around for the same tire. Yokohama tires rotated and balanced on my Audi Q5. Tires are performing great. 30,000 and cant see Treadwell. All season - water with heavy rain is no problem.Lifetime rotation and balance with no charge. Tires were slightly out-of-balance after 30K. 40 mins with an appointment.

Simple and easy. Bought online, made an appointment at checkout, tires shipped to the store, showed up for my appointment and got my new tires installed. Everyone at the store was welcoming and professional. After getting checked in with Jay (named changed out of respect for their privacy) we discussed the wear of the old tires on the car and since I was only getting 2 new ones we needed to decide which ones would be best to replace with safety being the top concern. During installation another concern came up where some of my lugs were not in the best condition, I had replacements but not with me. They let me borrow some for the trip back to my house to grab my replacements and then when I came back they switched out the borrowed ones for my replacements. I really felt like they had my best interest/safety in mind. They very well could have put the worn out lugs back on the car and sent me on my way or could have tried to upsell me their lugs, instead they did me a solid and saved me some money while keeping me safe. Not counting the return trip and time it took to swap my lug nuts the original appointment took about 45 minutes to a hour from check-in to keys back in my hand. I will definitely be recommending Discount Tire on Sunset Blvd in Lexington anytime in the future when I hear that someone needs tires.

I went this morning to remove the nail in one of my tires. Got in at 8 AM and right away started working on my car. It was done in less than 30 minutes. I was surprised when the gentleman who gave my key back that it was free. This was the first time I’ve been to this place and I highly recommend it. As a token of appreciation, I gave the mechanic who worked on my car a $20.00 tip. Now I know where to go if I need new tires. Fast, friendly and honest people.

The place was spacious and clean and adhering to covid protocol. However, Discount Tire offered no real discount on tires. The cheapest tire in the store was $100. after install. You can go anywhere for that. Walmart had the same tire for $48. I just couldnt wait 2 days! 😁

By far the best service I’ve had by any tire shop. I made a quick appointment online because I had a slow leak in one of my tires, and I arrived about 10 minutes early. They took my car straight back and fixed the leak in my tire for absolutely free, all in less than 20 minutes.Very friendly and welcoming staff and I will definitely be returning if I experience any other problems.

Slow...slow...slow. With Covid...you are expected to stay in your car when you pull up...I waited for someone to come out...no one did. I called them...it took 3 times for someone to pick up as their phone simply hangs up on you......only to be told that I would need to wait for more than 3 hours for a simple nail in my tire to be removed.They really need to figure out how to get people in and out quicker. I went to their competition and was in and out in less than 30 min. No appointment necessary.

Lifetime replacement, balance and rotation. Sounds like I work for them. I dont. I just have had a great experience with them over the last six years. Use ONLY DISCOUNT TIRE STORE tires on my RV and truck. They do what they say. Plus friendly hard working employees. Also make sure you you go to DISCOUNT TIRE STORES with the name in Red. There are discount tire places out there, but they arent DISCOUNT TIRE STORES.

Made an appointment at 730am for a 9am free flat repair service for my trailer tire. Charles greeting me ( walking out the door) as I came to the front door. Told him I wasnt sure if it was true or not what I heard about a free flat repair even though I didnt purchase the tire from the chain. He said it was indeed true. Took me to a diagram and showed me what parts could be repaired if damaged. Helped me get the dirty (muddy) tire out the trunk, washed it off and with the technician inspected the tire. 10 minutes later he said he found a puncture, that it was repairable and if asked if i wanted to wait, leave a number or what. 10 minutes later the repair was complete and technician rolled it to my trunk. Clean, safe facility. FREE wireless Internet with outlet to charge laptop. Got me back in service in less than an hour. Friendly, knowledgeable, safe and FREE! New lotal customer established 6.12.2019.

Fast friendly service and reasonable prices

I did an online order for rims and tires, which turned out to be a huge mistake. I have always had great service at Discount Tire but this is the second time this location has let me down.The first visit, I was only having my routine tire rotation after I had them replaced at the Killian location but moved closer to the Sunset Blvd location. I had a morning appointment and after waiting a hour I noticed my car wasnt even touched. So I left without getting my car serviced.Flash forward to today. I have had my tires inspected by two other car places prior. And I made an order online so my desired tires and rims would be in store by the time my appointment got here (instead of having to choose only what was in stock). Well, I never heard from anyone until my car was ready, but apparently one of the mechanics slipped up and mentioned they did not check the condition of my tires before replacing them. Their excuse was they received and fulfilled the order. Common sense would tell you that if youre replacing a tire, and you notice nothing seems to be wrong with any of them, you would give the customer a heads up. Unfortunately, the people who work there told me they didnt know the reasoning I was replacing the tires so they didnt say anything. Tell me this - who replaces any tire if there is nothing wrong with it?Moral of the story is, if you make a order online here, dont expect this location to go out of their way to be in your best interest. They just want the order done, so they can check their boxes to move on to the next one.Im only giving them 2 stars because at least the manager wanted to work with me. But I was already inconvenienced by the situation, and would be further inconvenienced if they were to try again.Word of advice, if you live in Columbia, stick to the Killian location. You dont have to tell them how to do their job and how to keep the customers best interest in mind simultaneously.
