I am so sad about this. I used to use this salon all of the time and decided to stop going once when they were not polite. However, I gave them another chance because they were usually very nice. Well, yesterday my foot was severely cut. Today I am walking with my foot bandaged and unable to bear weight on my heel. I was never apologized to, she did not ask me if I was OK, and charged me full price for the pedicure. She was NOT able to finish the pedicure because of the condition she put my foot in yet still charged me. Furthermore, my daughter recommended this salon to a friend and today I found out that the friend was very rudely sent away. She lost me, my daughter, and our friend. Three paying customers.

I needed to get my nails done last minute and I made an appointment here for the first time and they got me in when I needed to be there in the little time I had. They treated me like I was a return VIP customer! The owners are so accommodating and did an amazing job on my dip powder nails and my pedicure!

Sorry for the long post! I have my reasons 😇1-Kim and her staff/family are amazing to work with. I go early on Saturdays usually and I typically get to see Kim, Nancy, and Tom. My nails are amazing 99% of the time. No one is 100% perfect but I’m talking once in a while there’s an insignificant flaw in my nails. Nothing to get upset over.2-regarding the complaint about having to make appointment and they can’t take walk-ins: this is true. They have a full schedule daily and aren’t able to take walk-ins most days. I have to make my apt 2-3 days out to get on their schedule. They make it as simple as possible. I text Kim to schedule. Easy peasy! I’ve been there when others have tried to do a walk-in and they try to explain it’s by apt only. Most nail salons in this area are having to do the same thing just like the hair salons in the area due to Covid-19. But if you can find one that will take a walk-in, great!3-to the lady who spoke about the family’s accents: The crew here speaks English. I’m there every 2-3 weeks so I would know. Sure there may be some words that are hard to translate but they are fluent in English. Most likely more fluent in English than most of us are in other languages. Making this a complaint is low in my opinion and I’m addressing it to stand up for this family and the efforts they make.4-I have brought several friends with me and their kids. The staff is sooooo nice to the kids! We were there yesterday for our apts and Kim took my friend’s kiddos next door and got them donuts to try to help entertain them. How sweet is that?!5-I included pics of my nails and my friend’s nails. As you can see, they can make simple nails like mine look amazing and do more complicated and beautiful designs like my friend got. Our nails never look unfinished and amateur. They are always well done.6-Final point: I love this place! It’s a cozy, friendly, family friendly atmosphere and it’s turned into myself hangout spot for ‘mommy time’ 😁

After all we went thru learning about sanitation it is a requirement to use liners in the foot spa .They did not . They would be fined on the spot ! There is a guy there that says he is TomCruise ( his name is tommy ) he performed myIt was not the proper way to do a pedicure. Sorry I want my massage with exfoliation before my polish is applied . Plus a lot of chatting and watching tv . Now I am questioning the implements?

I went in to have them fix one nail. Plain black. That was all I asked. I had to have them do it twice. I could clearly tell from the tub of nexgen, that it had glitter in it. When I asked her if it was glittered, she told me no glitter. So I let her finish and went to my car. The second the sun hit it, it started to glimmer in the sunlight with all the glitter. When I had her fix it, she was in such a hurry that she cut me multiple times. I used to go here years ago and stopped because they were always in a hurry and doesnt take pride in their work. And whats the saddest part, if I remember correctly the lady that did my nail today is the ownerAlso, still definitely has glitter in it...

I have been coming to this nail salon for years now. It has taken me so long to find a good nail technician that I love and i would never go anywhere else. Kim is absolutely AMAZING! Shes so attention to detail and takes her time. I will continue to go to GQ as long as they are open!

Visiting family for spring break and needed a quick fix for my nails. Kim took me in as a walk in and did a great job! Definitely coming back whenever I’m in town!

Kim is amazing! With the salons being closed right now, Kim even went out of her way to come to my home and do my nails. Such a beautiful person inside and out! She truly cares about her clients like family.

Okay this place is terrible with acrylics. I showed them a picture of what i wanted and it was dead simple to do. Also they were super rough and cut me and made me bleed and didn’t seem to care. also, after i got them done they were crooked and not correct. they are super unprofessional and don’t seem to be trained that well. also they didn’t have many colors. Also, they didn’t speak english whatsoever. I don’t recommend this place. their ways of doing things is terrible and not professional. DON’T GO HERE PLEASE.

I was very pressed for time and am so happy I found this nail salon! They are willing to stay open past regular hours for customers. I walked in after 8pm & they were very happy to see me, which can be rare in most other places. They are very professional and take time and effort to make you feel valued! This is my new little nail haven, & Thank you Tom!Sincerely very happy customer

I have been coming here for years! Kim, Nancy, and Tom are the best. They greet everyone by name when they walk in the door! Kim does an amazing set of acrylics and Nancys pedicure are so relaxing that you could just fall asleep! I recommend them to everyone I know! If you havent checked them out you definitely need to!

Really bad acrylics, the lady, just did not have any patience and did not TRY to do her best.. she charged way more than what she had said in the beginning and she even took my money and said they were her tips... the man was really nice and friendly but she was just very unprofessional...

I have gotten my nails done here for years and more recently have begun to go there for my eyebrows. Whether they wax or pluck, I always leave with phenomenal eyebrows. They do better work than a few eyebrow bars I’ve been to. Very nice people, excellent service every time. 11/10 reccommend.

Kim and Tom are the best and make you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door! You will be laughing and having a great time before you leave the shop, looking forward to returning! My nails looks great every time!

Mrs Kim is really good, I have her to do me and my daughter nails. Her ONLY. But thats not to say everyone else isnt good. I wouldnt know that since Kim been doing ours.

Family owned and run nail salon. Its not super fancy, but neither are the prices. The work is good, its clean, and the staff is friendly. Come more than once and they will probably greet you by name when you walk in.

SO GREAT!!!! Came in with my hand and feet looking ridiculous, came out looking like a beauty queen. Very friendly staff and they made me feel comfortable. I will never hip anywhere else for a pedicure or manicure!!!

Truly a one of a kind nail salon!! They treat you like family and do whatever they can to make sure you are happy with your nails, just the right color etc! Their name stands true for Good Quality nails and customer service!!Everytime I come in Kim asks how Im doing and remembers vacations I had or family stuff! I cant say enough about GQ nails!! G Q nails does a wonderful Mani pedi. The customer service was great. They add in a lengthy massage that I didnt have to pay more for.

Salon was Dirty. It was obvious it had not been cleaned from the day before. I had an appointment but the technician was not there. She cut my finger, above the cuticel with the hand grinder when removing my dip. He tools were dirty, with polish stuck on from another costomer, and she put them in the acetone with my hands to clean them. I will never go back!! The state needs to an inspection.
