****Do Not Move Here****The apartments went down hill when the management changed in February 2021. Prior management company was way better and took care of all repair request in a timely manner. I had to purchase a gate opener when I first moved in and once the new company took over the gate just stays open and never closes not even at night. It seems like maintenance does nothing all day but ride around on the golf cart.I submitted at least 2 repair request for my balcony screen door that doesnt close all the way and it has never been fixed. The AC unit started leaking into the bathtub I made at least 2 repair request online and they closed the tickets without fixing the issue. Went into the office twice about the same issue before maintenance finally came which was almost 2 months later. When maintenance finally came they tried to blame the people in the leasing office for closing the tickets. IDK what the guy did but the AC unit still leaks into the tub just not as fast as before. None of the other repair request Ive made have been completed I just gave up on submitting repair request at this point.Trash and recycling containers are always over flowing to the point Ive seen mice coming from them and walked pasted 2 dead mice by the same containers. Glade to be moving from here soon.
If I could rate this place a 0 I would! They are THEEE absolute worst!! Do not move here!! Prices are high for old appliances AND the maintenance is horrible. I have had work orders in since August 14th and NOTHING has been completed. Not even 1 of them!! The whole front office is completely unorganized and don’t ever answer the phone! The owners are just as bad if not worse because I’ve tried to get into contact with them as well and NO RESPONSE!! Don’t walk..run away from this place..
Just moved in a few weeks ago and I love it so far. Front office is amazing and very friendly. Always smiling. Nora is great! I had a problem with my AC and Maintenence came out so much faster than my previous apartment I was in and are replacing the unit entirely. No kidding around or throwing duct tape on it like my last apartment complex. Very spacious floor plans. Big garden tubs. Big kitchens. Awesome location. Everything is just a short drive away!
I stayed here for a year and I would have been much happier to extend my stay. I enjoyed each and every moment during my stay there. The location was awesome! Walmart, Costco, Vista Ridge mall - All were within couple of minutes by car. And, the best part was their staff and service! Its a 5 star for sure!! The amenities were far better than what other communities were providing. I left Villas of Vista Ridge as I changed my job and was moving to a different location outside TX. However, given a chance to return to Dallas, I know where to come!I would definitely recommend this to others. Good job team! Keep up the good things you guys are doing!
Honestly I liked living here for the past two years. until recently in February 2021 there was new management that took over. Ive submitted maintenance request twice (kitchen sink disposal) and it never got done, then I went in person to ask for the request twice and both times nothing was done. I even said to them that my sink was smelling bad and roaches were starting to come out of there and STILL nothing was done. im beyond irritated. To top things off ive seen and heard rats in the ceiling. Just dirty and irresponsible.
Relocating from California was one of the hardest transition I’ve made in life it was so scary seeing that I’ve never lived anywhere else, but I’m beyond grateful to God for allowing me to meet Teresa who gave me a complete tour of the property and was so warm and welcoming, she was so amazing I canceled the other appointments I had to view other locations without even putting in an application (talk about a faith move lol) I literally felt like I was home! Just when I thought it couldn’t get better I met Marvin who was beyond attentive, and very prompt to respond to any questions I may have had. He’s always very professional, yet has a very good sense of humor. He always greets you with a smile. You can tell they really like their It’s very rare to find awesome management that go above and beyond, here they are with a million tenants yet they make you feel like you’re the only one. Did I mention the upkeep of the beautiful property? Thank you Marvin, and Teresa for allowing my transition to go so smoothly! I will definitely recommend making Villas your home. - Amber Morton
Management is poor, i submitted a work order and it has been two moths and no one come to fix yet dispointment....
The quality low a lot, the pools without maintenance, lack of control with the administration, the really bad service.
Upon my journey of finding a new home I stumbled upon villas of vista ridge. Now at first it’s looks like a normal apartment complex but Marvin made me see the the true beauty of my possible future home. The tour I went on was like no other he was very personable and made my experience unique. He fit and tailored everything to my background. Gave me a vision on how my things can fit into the floor plans which no one rarely does. Now I have a hard decision to make on where I will call home but I’m fairly certain Marvin will be hearing from me in the next upcoming months
The maintenance service is really poor. No attention is paid to resident maintenance requests even after multiple follow-up’s.
I wish I could give negative. DO NOT MOVE here. WORST management I have ever seen. Utility bills, trash collection, parking, everything is a mess. Water bills suddenly increased from $25 to $150 and don’t know the reason till now. Management always say it is an error on vendor side who issue the bills. Every time I hear the same response but no action and it is really frustrating. Management doesn’t take the responsibility of getting the things right. Always ended up paying more. WORST experience. Waiting for my lease to end. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this apartment to anyone.
Decent place to live, and not to many problems. Only thing was the apartment was NOT move in ready. Literally signed paperwork and all and walked to apartment to see their was no carpet. They decided to change the carpet the day of move in, and the office wasn’t even aware of what was going on with their maintenance team. Got over that, until around February I noticed the bugs infestation increased rapidly. Major roach problem, and I hate bugs. They were everywhere and in everything. So I couldn’t re-sign the lease. Other than than bugs, decent place I must say.
Marvin smith is probably the best employee at an apartment I’ve ever met. This man is beyond helpful and makes everything easierPlease promote him!
0 stars. if you dare to live there youll see for yourself. Dishonest, fraudulent folks trying to pin charges on tenants even during a pandemic crisis. Unwarranted charges and didnt allow a walk thru when we gave key in. And now they claim to have a long list of charges for us. I dont think so. Thank God its only money and I will need to pay i understand this, but the greater forces will come back with karma to Teresa and their debt collectors. Trust me, DO NOT LIVE HERE, unless you want headaches. I hope no one goes thru this experience. STAY AWAY!
I really like these apartments and wanted to live here but I didnt qualify. The girl who helped me was nice and asked her manager if there was anything she could do. They referred me to one of their other properties. Thank you, Meredith. It looks like your referral will work out. :-)
Ive lived at Villas of Vista Ridge for several years and I really enjoy living here. Ive experienced some issues over time which is to be expected. I have seen management personnel come and go. My concerns have always been addressed in a timely manner even though I do realize issues must be prioritized for the maintenance team. The property manager, Meredith, is top notch with communication.
My family and I are new to the area and love the Villas of Vista Ridge. The property has five star amenities including offering Starbucks coffee. I have two young kids and the management and staff is always so warm and welcoming to them every time they sneak into the office for a cookie! I highly recommend living here.
The water bill is super high, and they dont even have an explanation for that. Ive never paid so much for water .
VoVR is ok but Marvin has been excellent! He went out of his way to help me to tour VoVR and then further assisted me prior to move in. Im fairly certain my move in would have completely sucked without him so many thanks to the team but, especially, to Marvin for being so patient and readily available to help me move back to Texas :)
Great place to live. The property is so nice and I love my apartment. I have only positive things to say about the office staff. Meredith has been very helpful.
Ive been a resident at the Villas of Vista Ridge for over a year and I really enjoy living here. The grounds are pretty and the amenities are great. I havent had any issues and I can say the mgmt office personnel have always been friendly. The property manager, Meredith, is very professional and helpful. I recommend this apartment community.
What a great place to live! Meredith, Teresa, Jill and the entire staff are simply the best! The property is so well maintained, it appears to be brand new! The staff go out of their way on a regular basis to make sure we residents are taken care of! Looking forward to renewing for another year!
I came in for a new gate key and was helped immediately. Great service and friendly workers!
I showed up on the first of the month. The staff was super busy but still fast and helpful. Vary nice property and I love the big clean dog park. My puppies will too.
Pahetic service. No proper communication. They just took away my deposit money of 150$ even though I cancelled the application and I didnt even submit my paycheck to get the application to be approved and didnt stay a single day. They even sent a mail saying the refundable amount is 275$ but sent a check of only 125$ and then later went saying that mail was sent mistakenly. Definitely an apartment everybody should avoid staying with management not communicating properly.Wish I could give negative stars
We currently rent from the villas if vista ridge and we can not wait until our lease is up ! The office staff has horrible customer service! Our ac unit stays at 80 degrees all day leaving my family to suffer in the summer months. They are aware of an underlying issue and are not willing to fix the problem! Do not rent from this place.....as you can already see from the other comments as well.....
The maintenance crew is awesome, but one person who stands out is Nolan! He’s so great. Always has a great attitude, very friendly & gets whatever needs fixing, fixed fast! If you are looking for a quiet, well kept community this is the one for you! I have had nothing but a positive experience here, & would 10/10 recommend! Everyone in the office is very nice & anytime there is a problem they handle it quickly & professionally. The fitness center is very nice, along with the heated pool. The apartment is located in a great area, and everyone who resides here are very friendly.
Adrianna has been extremely helpful with expediting maintenance requests when needed and any problems that have come up. She makes sure the residents are as happy as they can be given the different circumstances and has compassion towards complaints or comments. If you wish to lease here, I would 100% recommend her!
I had a great experience the other day because of the extremely helpful management team. Im looking at moving to the DFW area for a new job opportunity and this is where Im sure Ill end up. I loved the kitchen and the great dog park. When you go into their office Id definitely recommend talking to Sean. He was so patient with my MILLIONS of questions especially because I couldnt commit until I have the job offer. I loved this community and Im sure itll be a great place to live.
We recently moved into this complex, so far we have had nothing but the best experience. Adrianna has been more than helpful and has made this move easy for us. She’s great!!
There is a huge roach problem here!! Ive had them in my apartment for 1 1/2 months, and they have yet to fix it . Ive had problems from day one. Water leaks through my bedroom window and into my bedroom- matenaince came to fix it 5 months ago, still leaks the same . My A/C unit has gone out over 10 times in one year as a tenant. The biggest problem here is #1 the owner being non existent and funneling employees through this place as a solution to not taking any accountability . There has been over 12 different people working in the office and so nobody takes responsibility and problems hardly ever get solved. Also if you look at the other reviews theres many people saying the same thing. A hortible illusion this place is. Dont judge this book by its cover
I wish, I can give them ZERO star. That place is useless. Before to sign a lease with them think 100 times. The management is so RUDE you cant even imagine. I lived there almost 9 months until i got my house but it was a worst experience of my life. DO NOT give them any security money because they are not going to give you back. When i entered i did complain about many things including carpet and that is recorded in their books but when i left they had charged me for carpet and other things. I had called a professional cleaner to clean the house and there was not a single sign to point. I will highly recommend NOT TO SIGN A LEASE WITH THEM until or unless you have no other options. If you sign a lease then mark my words you are going to regret big time. Good luck
Loving it here! I seriously cannot say enough great things about the community!
I would recommend this property. It is hard to find a town-home that is within my budget and this place is close to everything I need to be by. I appreciate the staff, especially Loren! Such a sweet and caring lady. CAF took over recently and at first it was a bit rough but it has been smooth sailing recently..
We moved here in AUG 2017 and we love this apartment community. The location is amazing! Walmart, Costco, Vista Ridge mall - Everything is nearby. And, the best part is the staff and service! Very helpful and kind! The amenities are fantastic!!! Theyre adding a library for the kids!!!I would definitely recommend this to others. Good job team! Keep up the good work you guys are doing!
We applied for a 3 Bed Apartment, payed Application fee, Admin fee and Deposit ( $100+$100+$300). Apt wasn’t ready for showing.Later when we got to see Apartment after approval of our Application, we didn’t like it. We wanted to withdraw our application and wanted our deposit back. But management refused saying that the Application mentioned that all payments made are non refundable after have if the application approved.I would say to anyone applying for this complex please use caution and pay attention to what is written on offer letter.
A good place to live in, access to all the main centers. If you would like socializing you will find this place right. Adults and Kids get out in the evening to chit chat and play on. Its a quiet and nice place. We miss this place even though we lived here few months only.
DONT MOVE IN THESE APARTMENTS. I HAD ROACHES THE ENTIRE TIME I LIVED HERE, THEY WERE INSIDE EVERYWHERE BEFORE I EVEN BOUGHT FURNITURE. THEY ONLY CAME AND SPRAYED IF I CALLED AND TALKED TO A MANAGER. I MOVED OUT 6 MONTHS AGO AND MY EX PROVED TO THEM HE MADE ENOUGH TO GET ME OFF. I GOT A HARASSING EMAIL BY THEM TODAY AND THEY ARE TELLING ME IF I DONT PAY 1247 BY MARCH 5 THEYRE PUTTING ME IN COLLECTIONS. THEY ARE MONEY HUNGRY THIEVES. STAY AWAY!
I have been at Villas for the past seven years. There have been many management changes. So far, so good. CAF Management now owns the property and have been quick to make changes. They have added valet trash pick up and host resident events and work out classes. In my opinion, it seems they are enhancing the property. My lease is up in a couple of months and I do plan on resigning. Thanks Villas team for everything! You get my 5 star vote! -Luke
Nice apartment community; big central area for kids to play in and adults to meet; convenient location; close to everything; apartments are newer with good quality fixings.
The Villas of Vista Ridgeis great & fine to me, looks like a lot of people who are just being negative and are negligent and have a high amount of incompetence, they lack self discipline and high self esteem to take accountability and full responsibility for their actions & choices. Bunch of 1st world high school babies. grow up.
I have lived in these apartments now for 6 months and at first, they seemed very nice and quiet. But recently, I have seen more people moving out and being replaced with some very shady people. Crime has dramatically increased to the point where I am starting to get uncomfortable. And the 3 or 4 families living in 1 apartment here far outnumber everything which results in kids always out in the streets and adults wondering around the complex at all hours. Very unnerving. And the sad part about it is that it is rumored to be the maintenance people doing the break ins!The amenities however, are nice. Pool is very nice and lots of fun. Always nice people out there and grills to cook out on. But all in all, these apartments are WAY overpriced for what they are becoming. I actually called and asked if they were starting to take vouchers. Be warned....
The apartment complex was much better before the new management arrived. I lived here for a couple of years before they arrived and decided to transfer to a new unit. The day before moving in the new unit i noticed there was an old sofa in front of the door. So i decided to take a look inside to see if the apartment was ready which it was not. I spoke with the management to make sure the apartment would be ready before my move the next day (morning). She then informed me the flooring would not be ready until next week later. Let me add, that I paid the deposit for the new unit 3 months before the actual move. A couple of hours later the manager Morgan informed the floors would be ready by the next day which would require me to push my move start time to the evening time. so now I have to call the movers to change the interview time. Well we began moving (in the rain) into the apartment (noticed a few bugs) and a by the end of our move (night), bugs were everywhere (bathtub, toilet, closet, kitchen sink, floor, stove, etc) I called the office the next day she told me she could treat the apartment (as if the bugs would leave overnight) and the apartment was livable, REALLY. We moved back to the old apartment and selected another unit. That unit was suppose to be ready within three weeks. Well the day before, i decided to take a look inside the 2nd new apartment and this time it was not ready either. Called management informed me apartment cabinets would not be ready until the following week but we could still move in. Who actually would want to move into an apartment and it is not completely ready. Im pretty sure they would not take half the rent since half of the apartment is not ready. We decided to move from the entire complex. The management never offered to pay for our move either time, I had to transfer my mail twice (which I am still having issues with that, transferring utilities and fees) but they did manage to send a bill for two months water, rent and etc ( which was paid in advance). The apartments are not bad as far as appearance but is it really worth the headache. ALSO PLEASE BEWARE OF APARTMENT 1022- if you like bugs for roommates then there you go!
The apartments are very nice and are at a decent price at first, but be warned! I moved in and after living there for only 1 year, I went to renew my lease and they raised my monthly rent by $140! My rent was $1190 for a 12 month lease and the renewal for another 12 month lease went to $1330. This is a hike of over 11% in 1 year.I suppose their strategy is to lure residents in with fair rent rates and then bet that after a year theyd rather pay more than deal with moving again. Theres no reason for me to believe they wont raise it again the next year, so I am moving out.
Leasing and front office staff is not professional. seems like they need some training in basics...very rude ..atleast that has been our experience dealing with them
Been leaving here from last 4 years nice community unfortunately i have to move out after giving 60 days notice some issue came up with my moving date but meredith foerster ( property manager) personally came out of her office cubicle and took care of the issue personally. Very helpful . I really had a nice experience leaving at villas of vista ridge.
To put it shortly the place the gave us wasnt even close to ready. We moved here from California and had problems from the very first day. The downstairs bathroom tub acrylic was chipping completely off. the linin door fell off. About a week later when it started raining water began leaking from under the walls by the floor. This happened for 2 weeks straight with no help from maintenance or the staff we kept our place from flooding. We fought with them to get us out of our lease which they agreed to, but wont pay for our move even though they completely dropped the ball here. They are costing us 1000s.... learn from our mistakes, please.Anyways if I were you I would run away. They seem nice but as soon as you sign the lease you are nothing to them.
This place is a joke. Do not lease from here. The new management company is very incompetent. The old management company was very responsive and seemed to really care about its residents but this new company is a joke. I dont even know the managers name. You cant get anyone on the phone. The 5 star reviews you see are fake reviews. There are lots of empty apartments here and as soon as my lease is up, I am moving into a home. I refuse to lease from another apartment again.
New management came in and this complex lost its personal touch. Lauren the manager is rude. Every month your water increased and not by a few dollars. They use to accept packages for you and email you when they arrived but new management made you pay a monthly fee to accept packages on your behalf. Maintenance was awful. Charged you for services you didnt even utilize. They dont care about their residents here. Couldnt wait to move from here.
I moved in 2 months ago and it is clear that I made the right decision. My neighbors are very peaceful and reserved. The staff is friendly and they host several events a month: breakfast, fitness classes, events for kids etc. I plan to renew my lease when the time comes.
I have had the absolute WORST experience with management. DO NOT LET THEM FOOL YOU DO NOT MOVE IN, NO MATTER HOW NICE THEY MAKE IT SOUND. We moved in last Saturday and when we got our keys the apartment was an absolute mess. There was at least 40 june bugs all over the floor, the carpets were clearly not cleaned, we had a broken window cover, and MANY other issues. They put some wine on the counter and a couple water bottles in the fridge and called it a day. We were also told we would be getting a partially renovated apartment (minus counter tops) with new appliances, backsplash, and lights etc. This was noted in an email and NOTHING was upgraded… I sent an email Monday with photos to the property manager as well as the leasing agent and I STILL HAVE NOT gotten a response. I was trying to give the management company some time to respond and fix some of the issues, but today it has been 5 DAYS!! Before we moved in, I also had issues getting anyone to respond to me after Adrianna left to work at another property. Also, we paid for a gate fob and were told “we ran out” I asked when they would be getting them in and she said “idk” and left it at that (she was extremely unhelpful and rude). I’ve lived in around 8 apartments in my lifetime, (some much lower end) and the apartment AND management company is BY FAR THE WORST I’VE HAD TO DEAL WITH! I should have trusted some of the other reviews about living here, but unfortunately I didn’t.
If youre missing the fun of nightmares in your life then this is the perfect place for your search. There was not a single day when I had not to dealt with the issues here. When it rains it floods inside the apartment and when its cold the AC dont work and they maintenance and management staff is that helpful to only send you reminders for rent due and nothing else concerns them at all. For the shake of name this is a gated complex but there was not a day I remember after living here that the gate have been in appropriate condition.Even in the leasing office there is not one person you can go to because looks like they change their staff every month. It would be lot easier for me to name one thing that works well here would be NOTHING than naming what works well. I wish I would have had option to rate in minus here. If you dont want this to be turned out your biggest mistake of your life people please stay away from this place and dont repeat the mistake I did.
Having lived in these apartments for several years they have gone downhill in the last year. Multi-families living in 1 apartment makes for lots and lots of kids riding their bicycles around the complex, standing out in the middle of the driveways and walking in groups down the driveways. Nearly hit 1 one night as he drove past my moving vehicle in the dark. Multi-families living together also make it hard to find parking spaces at night. Sometimes have to park on the other side of the complex late at night (10pm). Also recent rash of break ins, not attributed to multi families. Not sure why but dont feel safe anymore. They have increased my rent every year but will be moving as soon as I can. Too pricey for all the issues they have.
Had to downsize from a house and was struggling with moving to an apartment. The Villas of Vista Ridge made that less painful for us as it is more like a small nit community of neighbors and didnt feel claustrophobic. Everyone is really friendly and the apartments/townhouses are unique and not so cookie cutter as other complexes can be. They really make you feel at home.
I want to give a shoutout to Arianna Gonzalez our leasing consultant. She has one of the best personalities me and my wife have come across in a long time. She took great care to answer many of our questions about the apartment. Any little hiccups along during our move in, were resolved quickly and painlessly by her. We recommend anyone interested in this apartment complex to ask for Adrianna.
Look somewhere else....when we moved in a year ago, everything was great until the new management took over. These people are not honest at all. Our water bill has gone from about $40 to $130 per month and mind you we are a family of 3. Sewage bill is coming up to $60 per month and other crazy charges that we never had before. I understand that these bills are separate fron rent but why such a change all of a sudden. We went from paying about $1350 per month to now paying $1500 in a few month. They just come up with charges without notifying the residents. The new management is horrible. They turned these apartments to trash and I cannot wait for my lease to end.
This community is a joke. DO NOT THINK of leasing here.Unfortunately I have signed here and had worst experience. Before signing I was told the apartment will be ready in 2 days but it is still not ready after 2 weeks. Whenever I call the office and check about the apartment I will hear different excuses. Worst management I have seen ever. I would NOT RECOMMEND this community to anyone.
Since the management we have the worst service now. Just try calling and you will see.Updating review March 2018: New management at this complex is literally the worst form of customer service you will experience. We finally decided to break our lease had enough. Several other families have decided to do the same.Been two months since we moved out and still no deposit. Finally got a hold of someone today and they said to wait two more weeks. We moved out April 5th, and it’s May 26th now. Apartment was professionally cleaned and we even had all holes patched up even we were not supposed to do it. Honestly the service level of this complex had gone down tremendously. So glad we made the decision to move out.
Everything was great! The people were unfriendly tho, especially this cops wife that lived nearby. She complained on us that me and my friends were playing on a road that no one was entering. Then she complained for me drawing on my driveway with chalk! She even almost caused court issues with one of my friends! I was soo happy I moved. Save yourself from this because you dont know if she still likes there.
I wish I cud give negative stars to this place, every other month u see a new manager, I referred my friend to this place and I was supposed to get my referral 30 days after he moved in but it’s 8 months now since they moved and I have got nothing from them... everytime they have an answer “I m sorry n i don’t knw “. Adrianna is nice doing her job but all others so RUDE... I m glad I moved out finally they took $100+ From my security deposit to clean my carpet after I got the apartment cleaned with the professional cleaners, previous management for so nice and courteous this one is the opposite.. Pls communicate with them over emails take in writing if they promise u anything at all, which they won’t because later they will ask u for proof 🙄
Every day during the summer the AC stops working for at least 3 hours, i call them every other day to fix it, they send the maintenance to fill the freon and next day back to the same issue. For months now we have to stay 3-4 hours without AC.
I absolutely love this place. Beautiful grounds, roomy, well-kept apartments & nice neighbors. Since many of the apartments are slated for Coppell ISD, there are lots of families. Dog park, car wash, 2 pools, grills by the big pool. A great place to live... I was a little nervous when management recently changed hands, but the new group has been great. Highly recommend!
Very disappointed with the new management. Ive been a resident here for a few years now. When trying to transfer to another unit, the management staff were extremely rude and unprofessional. I felt as if I were being judge and looked down upon. There is a way to present a proposal in a professional manner. The worst part, I felt threaten with my money and decision. Before new management I highly recommend living here, now I will go pay more and or less with much better service.
Great Place! Im really glad that I didnt pay attention to the negative reviews. I moved in a few months ago and this is an awesome apartment complex. The complaints about punk teens and other negative remarks about the other tenants are untrue! There are lots of families here and all of the other tenants have been great. I have heard that the rates may jump a bit after the first year, so I will pay attention to that. This is the best apartment complex that I have lived in. The leasing office staff is also very helpful. I only put 4 stars because of the potential jump in my lease when I renew.
I honestly hate living here. I have loud neighbors and they always seem to forget to get pest control here on Friday’s even though they seem not to forget to charge me for it every single month. The office staff is rude (except Adrianna)...I hate going in there for ANYTHING. It’s also stupid that I can’t receive packages unless I pay another extra fee each month. Can’t wait to move.
I wish I lived here. I went to look for a 3 BR apartment and the only reason I came back was because they didnt have any on 1st floor. But the reasonIm writing this is because I just totally loved their apartment community and the apartment plan. Its just awesome. I saw 5 apartment communities in Coppell ISD on that day and this was the best. Best thing is the elementary school bus comes inside the community near the leasing office.Special mention: Lauren Hicken (I hope I got the name right) is such an awesome person to have in the leasing office. She is so friendly, helpful and totally the best!
My husband and I have lived here since 2013 and have experienced two changes in management (06/2014 then again in 09/2017) and the ebbs and flows that come with them. The location itself is convenient and pretty central to most of DFW as we have quick access to 121, 35E and George Bush. The parking experience (like most complexes) depends on where you live. Our apt faces the outside of the complex so we have no problems. The buildings seem well insulated, we rarely hear noise from the other residents and our electricity bill seems pretty average. Lewisville does have some issues with break-ins but thats not really the fault of the complex as its an area-wide problem. With the latest management, theres been some improvements over the years. They implemented a Parcel Pending service, the maintenance team is friendly and fast to address tickets, and the office staff is very nice.
This is by far the worst place Ive ever stayed. The new management is rude and inconsiderate! I wish I could rate this as zero!!!
I wouldnt trust management that:1. Sends me a different final account statement at least three times.2. Takes from Oct 2017 to June 2018 to conclusively state their position on a refund that is still due to me.I moved out in September 2017 and pre-paid cleaning expenses. The first final account settlement that I received did not show my initial deposit of 500 USD and also reflected an incorrect charge of a full clean (in-correct since I had paid this already). It took me an office visit and multiple emails to acknowledge that a deposit of 500 USD existed. A second revised final account settlement was sent shortly after which reflected the deposit but still didnt reflect the reversal of the full-clean charge. Multiple visits, proof of payments and emails later failed to rectify the situation. At that point of time, I was told by the staff that Fairfield was very slow in responding to their queries for my statement of accounts and payments and that they were still trying to locate it. Finally, in June 2018, they said that they they were sorry but will not be able to refund the house cleaning amount to me. Initially, they stated that I had made the payment to the previous management but later they couldnt find it on my ledger despite my showing them copies of my bank account check that was paid to them. I dont suppose legal action makes sense for about 200 USD and perhaps a consumer complaint and a honest review is all I can leave for them.
Our toilet flash is leaking and water is flow continues. As this happening last couple of hours I informed the office and they say they are unable to send anymaintance team as this is Saturday. So let the water the water flow for next 2 days and you pay for the water bill. Absolutely absurd .
I lived in these apartments for a year when I first moved to DFW and they are awful. They look nice, but everything is shoddily built. You can hear your neighbors footsteps and TVs, I had to sleep with earplugs my last several months there. There are constant break-ins because it is close to the highway. Unsafe, uncomfortable, and overpriced. To cap it all off, they give you a form to pay for professional cleaners when you move out. I was given a deal to pay for professional cleaning of the apartment and if I did then they wouldnt worry about charging me for any damage to the apartment (there was none) if they found any. I left the place clean and undamaged, but they implied that theyd find something if I didnt pay for their cleaners - which should be their business expense. I just paid it and got out.
I find them not very co-operative sometimes and management doesnt speak realistic. My dishwasher is giving problem for past few weeks and I have tried to contact maintenance they are unable to solve the problem and now they say You have scrub and rinse utensils before you put it in the dishwasher Its for the sterilization only . Is it some kind of a bad joke. If I wash everything myself there is no use of dishwasher. Ask GE I they sell dishwasher for sterilization purpose only.
Parking sucks. Ive been towed from my own spot.
This apartment is terriblethis apt is coppel ISD. many idiot teenager live in here.after school. there play soccer every day at Villas of Vista Ridge Apt. even they take soccer shoes.if you want quiet place. i think not this apartment.
Nice apartment. Poor management.
I received eviction notices on my door two months in a row, after paying my rent EARLY. Not happy with the new change in management.
Prices online lie about what rent actually is. Said online the room we wanted would be $900-1200, but went in and the minimum was actually $1600.
Lina is awesome!
Amazing place to live in
My uncle lives here
I have lived in these apartments for 13 months and I am very sorry to have renewed Leasing. I have bad experiences, when I came to live here everything was without incident, after 2 months they rented the apartment on the 2nd floor, exactly on top of mine, the problems started a lot of noise at all hours the day you could hear children hitting the floor, running and screaming. I went about 6 times to report to the office and the problem was never solved, among other things they told me that there were no children in that apartment. I stopped complaining because of fatigue, this situation lasted 10 long months until they finally moved.2 months ago I asked to have a kitchen outlet fixed, which overheated burned a device that I had, the person in charge came and according to him he fixed it. The next day it failed again. I received a communication from the office that due to the health situation they were going to attend only emergencies, so I waited a long time without being able to use the kitchen outlet. 3 days ago I reported the problem, they told me that they would go the next day at 3 in the afternoon, but due to health security measures I did not have to be present in the apartment, I left at the approximate time, I returned in 2 hours and they had not come to fix the problem. I called the office and they said they would go the next day and that I could wait at home. I waited all day and they never came. I go to the office and the person who treated me yesterday told me that they have not been able to go and that they will go next week to what I told her why they did not notify me so as not to waste my time, she tells me that she does not know how to speak with another person and the other person tells me to talk to the first person. The truth is that this situation is stressful. They do not take care of anything well, they dissociate themselves from the problem, they do not respect my time and finally neither of the two people who are in the office can help me and I still cannot use the kitchen outlet. All this seems to me a great lack of consideration and being aware of my punctuality in payments.I did not want to get to this point but I was forced by the way I was treated today.May 16, 2020
