This place is very mismanaged. My rent keeps going up. I have asked 6 times to show me why I’m paying more and the response is always “ we’ll look into it, and get back to you later”Can’t take my dog to the dog park because there is waste everywhere you walk. There is no accountability for their mail room. I’ve had someone even bring a box of mine that was delivered to them to the front desk, and their management didn’t even bother reaching out to me that they had it. You pay extra for parking but anyone can park in your spot. There is no one to contact after hours for that. Your only options on their phone number are maintenance or leave a message for the front desk and they’ll get back to you normal business hours. When asked about these issues, there is no answer. They advertised first 2 months half off of rent on a 12 month lease. Come to find out, you sign a 14 month lease and pay for those two on the back end. Old management was awesome and very attentive. Since they sold this place, it has gone down hill very fast.
I have lived in the complex for over a year. I moved in when the place was still being built. The finishes in the apartment are nice. I don’t usually hear my neighbors while I’m in the apartment either, which I find a huge plus. The quality of construction is generally not great though. Sidewalks have holes with chips and curbs are chipping off already as well. You can see all the issues pretty easily with a quick walk around. Also, you can’t walk anywhere without there being a massive amount of dog poop. The dog park area is no longer usable with the amount of poop in it. People actually let their dogs go to the restroom right in the grass at the bottom of the stairways, so you can’t help but step in it at some point. It’s also all around the installed pet bins, which I guess tells you a lot about the type of people that live here. While I’ve been here, I’ve seen the most extensive ant colonization in my apartment that I’ve ever seen in and I’ve lived in 10 different apartments over the years, so far. The pest control guy did come by and put bait down a few times, so I guess I’m just concerned about how that even happened in the first place. As a side note, there was an incident where my neighbor accidentally set off his gun in his bedroom. The bullet went through two of my walls and my tv, while I was in the apartment. I believe it was an accident, but I think the neighbor should have been made to leave. It was very scary and I stay nervous it may happen again.
Feels like home.... you guys thought of everything to make you feel comfortable. Space, layout and storage is awesome! The fixtures, flooring and cabinets are so beautiful and up with this modern designs and styles... I feel like Im in one of those TV shows viewing the really nice property. Garage space is also amazing. Again, you guys thought of every single detail to make a transition from a home to an apartment a real wonderful experience. Also, kudos to the leasing agents that made it fast and easy by answering all questions in a very timely manner. Aura Castle Hills rock! Keep it up 💗
Contemporary finishing coupled with large walk-in closets and bathrooms. Decent size island kitchen with a french-door refrigerator (a plus in my opinion). Three months half off the rent was the icing on the cake, at least for me. Only con is that I wish they had more parking spots on my side of the building.
Don’t be lead astray by the aesthetics of the apartment amenities. My year residency was my worst experience at this apartment complex got worse and worse as time progressed. You might want to look for housing elsewhere.I had to CALL MAINTENANCE approximately 10 times for PLUMBING, OVEN BREAKING, ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS, WATER SEEPING THROUGH THE CEILING ON PATIO, and HEARING NEIGHBORS THROUGH PAPER THIN WALLS. ALSO, MY PACKAGES WERE MARKED AS DELIVERED AND SENT PACK TO SHIPPER!!!On top of my MISERABLE EXPERIENCE, I was charged a WHOPPING $512 for CARPET DAMAGES. The complexes rationale was that carpet last 5 years and they are discounting 1 year but charging me for the remaining 4 years of carpet life. The it was normal wear and tear from me wearing my shoes. The complex attempted to clean the carpet but made it worse and stuck me with an excessive bill.
Truly disgusted at the unethical and deceitful lending tactics at Aura. There was only one apartment that fit my need and move in range. Only after spending $200 getting approved did I find out that apartment was the handicapped apartment with shorter counters, bath tub instead of shower, and microwave on the counter. When I asked why this wasnt disclosed Liz said they are human and make mistakes but cant refund me. The customer service was only one-upped by the assistant manager Jackie who said they cant admit it was their fault as the lack of disclosure was a he-said, she-said argument. Apparently my call wasnt in their log though it does seem to be time stamped on my phone. Seems mighty convenient AFTER 5 emails and taking my $200 they volunteered this information up.
Before basing your decision on a review make sure you visit the property and get to know the staff first. This is an amazing team and property. It is in a perfect location as well with such easy access to shops, grocery stores, and restaurants. The homes were built very well and I love the finish outs. Based off other properties in the area and for what this property offers it is very well priced and reasonable. Jackie is amazing!!
Working within the industry of Property Management makes apartment shopping hard. You know what to look for and see red flags. From my initial phone call requesting information to picking up keys Team Aura was spot on! Communication and follow up was excellent. The property is beautiful, clean and very well lit! I would highly recommend this community 10-10!!
Every member of the leasing/management team is professional and courteous. The maintenance crew is friendly and responsive. The property is modern and immaculate. One of the smoothest move-ins Ive ever experienced.
If convenience is what youre looking for in a property, you cant beat Aura Castle Hills. There is a resident entry gate at the back of the complex which makes it so nice just entering off of the main street and not having to drive through the whole property. The staff were available to help with anything and knowledgeable enough answer all of my questions. They are so personable and helpful. Cant go wrong with this apartment complex.
Love living here!! Jackie, Alicia, Elizabeth and Jorge are the Best Leasing/Management team!!! Keep up the Great job!!! The property is one of a kind!! Awesome Amenities and Apartment floor plans.
The process of becoming a resident was smooth, easy, and very welcoming. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. They were able to answer all of our questions and show us all the units we were interested in. I would recommend this place a thousand times over. The amenities are a huge plus, too!
Property managers here are really quick at responding to our requests. They really do their best at keeping their tenants happy.
Beautiful community and nice staff. Only bad thing I can say is you hear everything your neighbors do including using the restroom. Need to have been better insulated
Beautiful property, located near many entertainment and food attractions! With two entry and exits to the property, you can get anywhere in minutes right off the highway! Awesome apartment management, and high quality finish outs. Highly recommend checking out this community!
Jorge was my leasing consultant and he was amazing! I moved during the COVID19 shut down but it was still seamless! I love my place. It’s super spacious and my balcony view is amazing.
My experience has by far been wonderful! We love the apartments and all the amenities!
Even though i came to these place to see the leasing opcions Jorge treated me like i was already living there. The buildings looks pretty good and the apartments are incredible. Thanks you Jorge for making my visit so great.
The leasing agent George was very unprofessional and had very poor customer service. He let it be known multiple times that my tour would be rushed because he had other appointments. Even when I mentioned to poor customer service there was no apology and he allowed a sale to walk right out the door. I didn’t even have a chance to take my tour. I definitely would not recommend.
This place is absolute luxury omg. Even the clubhouse is gorgeous. The mailroom is more than convenient, the gym is unlike anything I’ve seen and the pool and other lounging/ grilling areas are totally 5 stars. I mean, seriously.... beautiful. The accessibility is great bc there’s everything you need within 5-20 minutes and you’re right off the highway. The apartments have high ceilings, fans in the living and bedrooms, great lighting (natural and installed), beautiful floors and plenty of space. The price for the one bedrooms is right on point for the location but the 2 bedrooms are a little more steep, but if you can afford it go for it. They’re doing one month free but that just wasn’t enough for me to be able to afford the 2 bed, but the staff is super wonderful and helped me work out my application for the one bed! I returned to this property multiple times before deciding just to compare, but I loved it that much after enough obsessing that I just had to go for it. Recommend!
Seriously the most professional staff EVER. Not to mention the property is absolutely Gorgeous. Wish I could give 10 Stars.
What an amazing property! The staff is very professional and the amenities are gorgeous!
They can’t a maintenance person to come clean the staircase looks disgusting.
Beautiful property and wonderful staff, 10/10 recommend!
This property uses a third party screening company to process applications. If the screening company denies you due to a minor disputable error. They aren’t willing to work with you or accept a bigger deposit/Advance rent payment. Save yourself the application fee. Apply elsewhere where you’re sure you’ll be considered.
This place is way to expensive for where this community is located. Access to the apartments are limited alongside the exit of the community. It literally sits next to a salvage yard.
