Best nail salon in Las Vegas!! I recommend Danny 😁 Yes they are a little pricey I paid $75 for what you see in the picture but worth every penny. He really concentrated, took his time to make sure nails were PERFECT . He wasnt much of a chatter box like most nail techs and I loved that because that tells you me what his focus is. When I arrived the environment was chill and relaxed the staff were super friendly and quick I was taken on time for my appointment, Ive never had that happen at other places so that was a huge plus! My nail tech was Diamond and I love her she did exactly what I wanted and made my nails extra sharp! She pays attention to detail and is a great conversation. I highly recommend this spot and bonus points for staying open late when other shops are done at 7pm! Definitely check this place out they do more than just nails

I visited a few days ago and was taken care of by Diamond. We admittedly did not plan to drop by a nail salon and did not make an appointment ahead of time, but we did call and they allowed us in. I had found a set of nails on Instagram that had not been done before and an hour and a half later, I had my very own customized set! Diamond was extremely professional and welcoming. My hands are on the more delicate side of things due to my own poor habits, but she was gentle and caused me no discomfort. My nails are now a fantastic rainbow sky with stars and clouds. The length and shape are perfect and I couldnt have asked for a better experience♡

Danny saved my vacation! He took me in as a last minute walk in and not only did he give me the best set ive had in a long time, he was also polite, fast and precise! This place is gorgeous and they treat you like a human not a number!!! Highly recommend! Will come here every year for Viva!

Ladies...Ask for Ms. Terry! I came in with super detailed modern sculpted ballerina acrylic nails and I needed a 3 week old fill. I came from another super popular pro who was all booked. I took a chance on Shimmer Nails and any girl knows how risky this is. She provided excellent service and mimicked my nail shaping beautifully! Money well spent. I was impressed and immediately scheduled my upcoming appointment in advance.

Omg this review is very late but I have to post it, you know better late than never. Let me say this, I recently moved to Las Vegas and googled this place because it was near my home and I passed it several times. Well guess what I’m never going anywhere else. My new favorite one stop shop, I had a full set done and a Pedicure by Danny. I usually leave and nail shop with at least one complaint to myself because I hate complaining well not this time, he was amazing. Thanks Danny. Next I needed my eye brows arched and my hair colored(this was totally random because I made the appointment for just a blowout), well here comes Cheyenne super awesome self to take care of the last two appointments, this young lady is amazing. She took really good care of my hair and my eyebrows(sorry no pics) but I am so happy with my color and have gotten so many compliments about it! You two wonderful ppl are stuck with me.

Alexis performed my manicure and pedicure. She did a satisfactory job. However, upon paying, the individual explains there is a $5.00 fee for using a debit/credit card or you may withdraw cash from the ATM machine inside the salon for a $2.75 fee. (She stated the ATM option as if she was doing me a favor.) This irritated me as a) I have never been charged a fee for using a card at any salon and b) this should have been communicated when I called and scheduled the appointment. I would have withdrawn cash at my bank ATM prior to my appointment and paid accordingly. I proceeded to pay with my card, but this affected Alexiss tip, as I was going to give her 25%. The service was not worth the hassle of ensuring I have cash every time I go so I will not return.

Makayla does exquisite nails, she’s so kind and detailed I have never had shellac last me for over two weeks. This place is worth the price and if you’re from out of town it’s worth the travel! Definitely will come back when I’m in Vegas again. 100% recommend!

I’ve been there 4 timesSuper convenient Bc it’s 3 min away from my condo.Every time I scheduled myself over the phone, and always were waiting 10-30 min bc of “whatever “ reasonService was 6 out 10 every time, but again 3 min from my place was important for me...And yesterdayI did as usual “ 45$ service, Callister removing, scrub, massage, paraffin and polish”And that’s what is see today...never comebackNEVERAnd not recommended for you :)

Loved this place! I was researching the local nail salons and scoping them out to find the perfect one. I hadnt been to a real salon in years due to a bad experience at a different one. This one caught my eye a couple of times so I figured Id try it out. My nail technician was Mandy. She was super nice and we vibed well. She made the whole experience easy and painless. I love this set and her design. Definitely going here from now on.Expect to pay anything from $60-75+ from a full set of acrylics with gel polish

Called me at 9pm the day before my appointment to tell me that they can’t do my daughters hair… I made the appointment a week and a half early … supposed to be going to a wedding and now going to have to scramble to get her hair done some here else … do your self a favor and go somewhere else more reliable for your important events!!!!!

Pretty overpriced. Had a bad experience. Was quoted one price over the phone, only to get there and have it be double that price. They will charge extras for things but dont make you aware of the extra charge until you go up front to pay. Just figure if it isnt basic, its extra and youll be fine. We booked on a Sunday to do hair and nails for my daughters birthday and found out that the hair salon is actually closed on Sundays. They made it work, and called someone in, (which was appreciated since it was their mistake) but the woman who was called in had a child with her who ran around the salon the entire time and really offset the relaxing experience we were hoping for. In addition to this, the hair seemed to take far longer than it should have (weve had more complicated dye jobs take half the time, and cost a quarter of the price). I know its Vegas, so if you dont mind spending $300+ dollars and an entire day in the salon, sure, go here. We wont be back though.To The nail salon sides credit, they were very friendly, and though they didnt explain the extra charges (kind of more slipped them in) they did good work and didnt take longer than average to do it; they are the only reason this is place even deserves one star. Also, the hair and nails did both look very good when they were done, it just took all day to do it. We arrived around 1pm for our appointment, and did not leave until around 7:30pm for one set of hard gels and a half color bleach/hombre done with temporary dye. I added one star for the quality, it did look very nice once it was finally completed. I feel like its probably more of a 1.5 star experience, but maybe your experience will be better than ours was. Just dont try to do hair on a Sunday, set aside about double what youre quoted, and figure it will take all day if youre doing both hair and nails.Update: Hair dye washed out in about three washes and we purchased new dye to touch it up. Nails started coming off in about two weeks. Just another heads up if you have work done here (I dont advise it). Put this down a star as we feel for the price the work should have lasted longer.

This is the best nail shop I have ever been to. Its a good thing too because it is also by far the most expensive, but it is still cheaper then going to the nail parlors on the strip. The coffin shape, ombre color and glitter dusting were each upcharges, but the place I go near my house (in Southern Illinois) does it all for $45 but this place was twice that much and totally worth it.

I love my nails but I hate how i slow the employee was. I walked in at 7:39 for a 7:30 appointment for nails and toes n left at 10:00 n I couldnt even get my toes done. N Im in vegas on vacation and its going to 82 and wanted to go to pool with out being embarrassed about my toes

Took the wife. It took a part of my life. She had a pleasant experience. Went went late and they were busy (witch is a good sign). As busy as they were they still made us feel like a priority. She got her full set and I got to sit in a massage chair and wait. I do recommend making an appointment because I can see how busy they can get, especially knowing that they welcome walk-ins. We called late and they squeezed us in. Oh and did I mention that there open until midnight.

My mom and I are in town on vacation and found this place. They did NOT disappoint!! We made an appointment and upon our arrival we were seated quickly. We were offered drinks and candy while we were in our chairs. The massage chairs are amazing and the staff all very friendly. They took their time during the whole process and did an amazing job!!! I would highly recommend if you are looking for a nail salon in the area! We had Dreena and Danny they were both fantastic!!!!!

I made an appointment and Jeannie was my hair stylist. I had brown hair and wanted to go blonde with highlights. She said she could make me all blonde it that was what I really was wanting and that she was able to do it with someone who had black hair. I was concerned about it being yellow and she reassured me that she could do it. Well It turned out yellow, I paid the 300 even though I was unhappy. She asked me to come back the next day to fix it with a toner confident to get the yellow out and she ended up putting more bleach on my hair as the toner didn’t work. my hair is so damaged it broke off all in the back I can’t even color it anymore it looks like I did a bad box job at home and there was not even layers in my hair. Payd 300 and so disappointed. Re Kris my hair is fried unfortunately there is no correcting it.

The salon was very very clean and pretty, but I had a 5 o’clock appointment but my nail tech didn’t get started till 5:15 she was very nice very talkative which I like, now the other problem was she accidentally burnt my really nail twice, I was expecting Vegas nails like they was going to be the best nails of had in my life and they are not even close, my Iowa nail techs have out showed Vegas. I get coffin shaped nails and this set you can’t tell the coffin shape and I also have a thumb nail that’s not even. I paid 55 and like I said my Iowa nails are better and show all the way out every time. But again the lady that did my nails was super nice and that was a good thing about her, but next time I’ll come with my nails freshly done or find somewhere to get my nails done.

The price is similar to other local places but please call in for an appointment. I loved the interior of the place and the fact that they use one-time use filing tools (mini version). That eased my squeamish factor. My technician was nice and did a great job. Majority of their customers are tourists.

Came here for a basic mani/pedi with my partner and I was pretty disappointed in the service I received. The service my partner received was so much better so I think it just depends on the technician that you get. This was the most half @ssed mani pedi I ever received. The foot rub lasted 2 seconds, if you can even call it that, she pretty much just caressed my leg and foot. Instead of a foot scrub she just used what looked like a nail filer on my foot. I could have very well did this job myself. She was very nice but I will not be returning. Also didnt care for the credit card machine being down.

Dreena is the #BOMB Im new to the area and she made me feel like Ive been there before. She was very professional and did a very good job with my pedicure. She will definitely be my nail tech.

Deanna at shimmer nails is a true nail artist! She’s an amazing technician I was so pleased with the full acrylic set she did on me. Ive been here a few times to get a full set of gel acrylics and have always been happy with my nails, however the last time I went I got a tech who rushed horribly and definitely did not give me the result I wanted. She was very nice, she just didnt seem very experienced. I came back two days later to get them redone by Kayla and I DEFINITELY recommend her. She told me she was so disappointed with how I was handled by the previous nail tech and said she would for sure be dealt with so this would never happen to anyone again. Kayla started from scratch, giving me a full set exactly the way I wanted and she completely took her time and all free of charge. I was extremely happy with the end results and with her professionalism.

Like I really hate To give it 2 stars, but I’m not impressed. Didn’t get what I asked for. I have never in my life paid 80$ for a basic set with gel. Then 5$ to use debit, then tip lol like that is outrageous. I pay $50 for shape, Swarovski crystals, length and gel where I live and my girl is amazing and does exactly as I ask . I will never come back here.

I had time to kill before work and called to see if they could take me for a color change. I had Denna ( pronounces dee- Anna). She was amazing and so nice! Did my color change and even fixed my shape. Had more time to kill so I decided to get a pedicure. The massage was the best Ive had at a nail salon an they even gave me a free mimosa!! Definitely changing my usual salon to this one and going to obly her! She’s so nice and actually talks to you unlike other places that just talk to their co workers or on the phone. Must come here!!!

In town for work and needed hair and nails on a Sunday evening. Found Shimmer online last night and it was exactly what I needed. Was looking for something off the strip so it didnt cost me a fortune, and I wasnt disappointed. Cheyenne cut my hair even though the hair salon was closed (she does nails too) and Carmen did my nails. Both of these young ladies have impeccable attention to detail and you can tell they care about what they do! The hostess was great although I didnt get her name and as I was getting ready to leave the manager showed up and was very kind also. If youre looking for a hair and nail experience in Las Vegas it doesnt deplete your savings, I highly recommended this place. Clean, professional, and friendly even late on a Sunday is hard to find! Keep up the great work ladies and thank you for making my work week so much better!!! 👌😘😁

I had my first manicure experience at Shimmer, and the experience itself was great. The facilities were clean, I felt comfortable and welcomed, and my nail technician was great - she did an excellent job and was a great conversationalist. I was very happy with how my nails looked when they were done.The reason Im giving four stars instead of five is the manicure didnt even last a day. I got the manicure on Thursday. By Friday, it was chipping around the edges. On Saturday, the polish started peeling off in huge chunks and I had to buy nail polish remover because it looked so horrible. My home-done nail polish lasts longer than that, and I expected better for the price.

The nails are good and the techs can do alot more fun nails than most other places Ive been. But make sure u ask prices constantly and stand ur ground with what u and including the length of ur nails .. the girl I got was great but she insisted on my nails being twice as long as I wanted and I get the bill its $125 absolutely insane yo do that without saying anything to the customer .. Also the lady at the front desk with short dark hair was so focused on her phone when my friend and I walked in I had to greet her after standing at the reception desk for her to even notice us

So I was coming from San Diego and getting married in Vegas. I spoke to Chris that I needed someone good that can do 3D on nail. She informed me that she had two tech thats good at that. I get into town and go to get nails done but Chris failed to put me down for an appointment. So I was given to a girl by the name of Stephanie that was not good. They charged me $110 for nails and pedi. Stay away from Stephanie she cut me plus didnt do good work. My stones on nail fell off and nail color faded. It was not what i paid for. Never go here again!!!

This is a basic for men Regular Mani/Regular Pedi.But look like I cut by myself at home. (In the pictures) and about The technician is not good.Also in the Website the price for Regular Mani/Regular Pedi combo is (40$) but when I finished they’re tell me 60$ for that.

Yolanda did my mani/pedi today and it was great! Not only did she pay attention to detail, but she made me feel comfortable. She was easy to talk to and did a great job. I’m sad I live out of town, otherwise I would continue to come see her regularly!

Great service by Medina she did my manicure and pedicure. She took her time and kept a conversation. Very professional. When she finished my nails I messed them up twice and she took the time to fix them both times with no attitude.

Absolutely awful..price gauging andthey did not tell us everything was an additional charge until it was time to pay. They knew we were from out of town and obviously did not know the prices but they charge $75 for a basic full set then an additional $20 for ombre. An additional $10 for top coat. I knew that the design was going to be an additional $20 when she started doing my nails she just started putting Swarovski crystals on them. it was really sloppy and I had to tell her to go and correct it and fix things before I even left.....I dont recommend at all.

Fun environment that offers almost every over the counter beauty services you can think up. Also, they offer complimentary water & mimosas. Shimmer has really attentive customer service. If I had any gripe, it would be that my nail tech took almost two hours to do gel polish.

The place is nice the hours are great.. butThe lady who did my nails had to steal stuff from other stations and she did a terrible job so I had to go somewhere else the next day to have them fixed. There was someone getting there nails done while I was there hers looked amazing so maybe the lady who did mine was just having a bad day..

The girl who did my eyebrows and hair was very young but extremely at what she does. Didnt ask for her name. This place is great but kinda costly. Paid $65 for a haircut. If I knew it was that expensive, I would of went else where. Definitely will come back for my eyebrows though.

The place is huge. My hairstylist was pleasant. I had a touch up to my roots of the scalp and hi lights. She spent along time on my hair. My hair is long and difficult to do with my thickness of hair. She did a great job on styling my hair. Also the firemen train across the street from them. A wonderful sight to see!

My daughter gave me an all expense paid trip to Las Vegas to see Donny and Marie and the second stop was to get our manicure and pedicure done. The gal who did mine was awesome! Made an appointment to get nails done and hair dyed and the girl says she has no time to do my hair. This was at 4pm too. Not that it was late. Guess Ill go elsewhere. Never coming back to this over priced place. I felt bad and still gave a tip. Should have not since they do not have time to do their job.

I made a appointment for my two daughters and myself and had to change the time. They were so pleasant with my time change and found another spot for us. When we got there the staff was so friendly and our nails ROCKED! The price for their services were perfect.

I went in for the first time for a polish change. My appointment was with Nina. As I stated originally it was supposed to be a regular polish change. I am accustomed to getting gel but was a little nervous as I have never been here before and my regular salon was booked.Upon entering the salon I was extremely impressed with the decor. Nina came to the front and sat me immediately. I absolutely loved my first experience. Got dipped nails and a pedicure. Makayla was my nail technician and she did an amazing job. I like the atmosphere and the service they provide. Only place i will go for nails in Las Vegas.

No one greeted me. No one offered me a drink. No one was nice to me. I was charged much more than what I was told itd be on the phone.not professional....overpriced...dont come here.

The shiny coating to my dip manicure peeled off less than 24 hours after I got them done. I went back and they reapplied it and the same thing happened. I paid an insane amount of money for it and they didnt even last 24 hours. Very disappointing.

Open till 12 on weekends, got a pedi at 1130 for $25, great price, nice customer service. Feel like I got my moneys worth 😁

Nice massage chairs they have, my wife and i went for a pedi N we enjoy a lot the service. Its a good place and the ladies and staff are nice.. my wife love this place
