Moved in months ago and am finally making the time for this much deserved review. Torreyanna’s staff is professional and friendly. I was especially impressed with Brandon. His “can-do” demeanor over the phone helped me to relax and not stress about the move-in. Meeting Brandon in person was a relief. He was exactly the same—friendly, witty, impeccable with his word, and answered all my questions effortlessly. He even suggested the perfect wine for my pasta and clams. Thank you, Brandon for all that you do!
Brandon is the most friendly, patient, and helpful leasing agent at Torreyana apartments. He will go the extra mile to help you and make sure your move in is smooth sailing. Brandon listens and will work with you to ensure that your home meets your expectations. I have known Brandon since when he used to work at my previous apartment complex and he was also amazing then. Knowing he is at Torreyana gave me the confidence to move here.
We recently moved into this amazing apartment complex and we are super excited to enjoy the beautiful community. Huge shout out to Vanessa from the leasing office she is very professional and provides a wonderful customer experience!! Thank you Vanessa for all your help :)
This apartment complex is amazing. The staff is kind and works hard to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The landscapers work diligently to keep everything trimmed and lovely. Maintenance is done quickly and efficiently. Our apartment is larger than most and updated beautifully. We love it here!
I have had a positive experience living here the past 6 years, the units are nice, spacious and the location is Ideal if you work on or near the strip, or if you need to get to any side of town quickly using the 15 / 215 or to airport .The new manager seems to really care about the community, and the rest of the staff Jessica Vanessa etc, have been helpful and during the pandemic, maintenance has been very efficient, any issues Ive had were taken care of, I would definitely recommend living here to a friend.
Our community is safe, clean, quiet, BEAUTIFUL colors. wonderful place to live. ive lived here for 5 years. and have had the best living experience ever. this was a dream come true for me. love TORREY ANAS.
Wonderful place to call home. Quiet, clean Had a friendly helpful staff. Love it
Sorry for the long read for those looking at everything. Let me start with the good. The place is very quiet and peaceful. Most of that is due to the location than anything else. When the gates are closed theres very little traffic of cars just driving into the area. The apartments are spacious and allow adequate space even for a couple with no children in the one bedroom. Most of the amenities are nice.Heres the downside here. The first couple weeks here we found an issue with the screen door to the patio area. Reported it around that time, someone came out and determined it needed to be replaced. This was almost an exact year ago when it happened. Nothing as of yet, and the last time checked out the ticket was notified that there was a wait on new screendoors to install around the place. Fortunately, this hasnt been a huge issue but is a basic status of how they react to things or suggestions as well.In the time being here the pool has been opened a total of around 20 days tops. Closed every other day from the start, even in the heat of summer. Granted the last few months was closed due to Covid concerns, but even while other pools opened these have been closed.Weve been able to make use of the Gym or fitness area a total of about a week. It wasnt the greatest. Most of the equipment basic or outdated, take your pick depending on the items if you look close at them. Even the touted kickboxing machine they got is still old.Perhaps the biggest amenity in the place, the gates at the entrance. Lets call it for what it is. Waste of metal and security post. The gates are open every day during business hours, even on days where the office is closed they have been open. The cry from the staff is that it needs to be opened in order allow people who want to tour the facilities to come in freely. This means, there is no idea if a person is coming in to tour the place, or if they are coming in to scope the place out. Since moving in they have hired a security company to drive their cars around the area once a while. Ive seen the car twice. Lets get real here, the place was repeatedly boasted as being a gated community. YOU would think that as a gated community there was more security. The gate has a security post. Hire a guard or two who lets people wanting to tour the place in and guide cars to the front office. Heres the latest thing, as of 9/9/2020, both the entrance and exit gates has been opened all day. We have gone from a gated community to an open community. Why are we paying more for a community like this? The office staff has a few good people who seems like they are tied behind protocol that makes zero sense. We have talking with people about how the management has been terrible from the start. They care little about things or concerns of those who live here. Recently there was an owner change, but management is still the same. One other major issue, I have lost track of how many times the water has had to be cut off because of emergency maintenance.Once the lease is up so will I be. Up and out of here and putting it behind me.
Vanessa was very helpful with making the move from New York to Las Vegas. Thank you Vanessa for the smooth transition.
These are the best apartments that I have lived in thus far! The only reason it doesn’t get five stars is because I am not a fan of the extra fees that are charged especially the cable and technology package which is mandated. Aside from that, the premises are always clean and well kept, I feel safe in this area and maintenance responds promptly to requests. Devolia was an exceptional leasing agent and made my move from Chicago to Vegas a breeze! I would definitely recommend.
Vanessa, the receptionist & leasing agent is very helpful + curteous
The rental process was very easy and straight forward. The apartments are nice as well. This is my third month and I make every effort to pay the rent ontime. This past month, the water bill (the first) was not received in time for rental payment...at least it wasnt posted to the website. I typically pay the rent early. However because the rent was paid (early) and did not include the water bill, I was assessed a rental late fee. The lease states that utility late fees are 10.00 and after speaking with the PM...was told that rent was considered late as well. She admitted that she did not calculate water until the Saturday before the Holiday(Labor Day) however I should have received a postcard with the cost of the water....are you kidding??? a POSTCARD which can easily get lost in the mail. Unfortunately I never received Postcard. When I paid the rent online, there was only the charges for rent. No utility. As I stated, I pay rent early and was penalized for NOT have paid the first utility bill. I dont have a problem paying the late fee for water, but I was charges late fee for rent and the rent was NOT late. Why wasnt the utility charges posted to the site along with rental payment amount so that charges could have been paid all at once???
I have one major problem, but to be fair I am going to start with the good things first. The location of my apartment is perfect. It is close to everything. My covered parking place, the dog park, and the swimming pool are all near my apartment. I am never bothered by noise from my neighbors. My gas and electricity bill are always reasonable. The sidewalks and landscaping look more like a resort than an apartment. If you look at my reviews of restaurants, you will see that there are a lot of good places to eat near our apartments. Until very recently I was completely happy and would have given a five star rating. The First of January was a legal holiday for New Years. The Torreyana Office was closed so I was not able to pay my rent. When I tried to pay my rent on January Second the Office Staff told me I was late. I checked my lease and discovered that my lease was not signed by management. I checked last years lease and that also was not signed. That means the lease is not legal and binding for management. I filed a suit with Superior Court and Small Claims Court to recover damages. They reviewed my papers and said they would hear my case. Danielle Adams refused the summons from the court. The mater is in the hands of the court and the police.
Service here is excellent Lain is on his Job, and Deveola and Jessica in the office are also on there Job....They all take care of Biz...right away!!!
The communication with most of the office staff is terrible. We fell on hard times and had been paying the rent late along with all the late fees as stipulated in the lease. Whenever we spoke to the assistant manager everything was OK. We gave her the date we would pay. We kept in constant contact. In Dec she was not available. I spoke to someone else to let the assistant manager know the date. Well she wrote the day before instead of the date we gave. We were told that if we did not pay by 6pm that night an eviction would be filed the next day. I asked if we could pay the next morning on the date we originally gave at 859am before the office opened. The manager Danielle said we would have to add the eviction fees if we waited until the next morning. They close at 6pm. She could have let us pay the following morning. Its not like she was going to court at 6pm to file. We would have been waiting at the door before they open. Danielle has always been rude and condescending but doing this 10 days before Christmas is heartless. Ice must run through her veins. We didnt have the eviction fees so Danielle filed the eviction. Most people show kindness during the holiday season but not her. I spent Christmas Eve and Day packing. One day in life she might need a favor from someone and I hope they are heartless like her and say no. I hope you had a Merry Christmas Danielle!
Please do not rent from this place. They are not kind or polite particularly to people of color. Front office staff incredibly rude and very discriminatory. I recently viewed an apartment and decided to apply. For some reason staff was having issues verifying my income. They had all bank statements and pay stubs necessary. I called in to see what further information theyd need from me. Vanessa (leasing office employee) suggested that I should turn in proof of my Child support payments. Whenever I informed her that I didnt understand why shed say that since I dont have any children she laughed it off. Never apologized, although it was obviously insulting and meant to be so.I was perplexed about why she would assume something of that nature about me, why didnt she provide me with any other options on income verification. Instead, she gave me the one option she thought would fit. Also, I was very confused on why I wouldnt qualify in the first place. The information provided clearly showed that I am a fit candidate for the unit. After that uncomfortable phone call ended, I was MAGICALLY approved via email with no further verification needed. This raised more red flags for me. I personally felt as if they were giving me a hard time for a reason unknown to me.I slept on my decision and decided it would be too much of risk for me to sign a lease with a company that openly shows their personal prejudices with their tenants. I called to speak with the property manager (Danielle) about my encounter. After three phone calls and five days, we finally spoke. She was super condescending and sounded very angry at the fact that I requested a refund ($300 Admin fee). I truly though we could come to agreeable terms and have an amicable conversation about my experience. However she wasnt interested in being professional. She told me that Vanessa was just out of training and she frankly doesnt believe me. She told me that she would pull the calls and emails to verify my story. I insist that she does! She also told me its not like they read off menus, its possible Vanessa gave me one option because she is new. In the same breath she cant believe something so small kept me from renting their apartment. To further berate me, she went on to call me a Low Approval as if they were doing me a favor. Their behavior is disgusting, unprofessional and inexcusable.I am sorry this was so long, I wanted to warn everyone do not rent from them. This experience was painful and exhausting.Still havent gotten a refund, nor apartment.
I had the best experience and tour with Devolia while searching for a new apartment. She has great character and made me feel right at home. I didn’t have to ask any questions because she ran everything down that I needed to know to a T. Thanks to her I will be moving into my home with confidence. Thanks Devolia for all your help.
Let me start of by saying Ive lived here (just me) for 2 months now and so far its been great. The leasing process was easy and everyone I worked with from the office was super nice and helpful (I worked mainly with Jasmine). No bugs, pretty quiet, free tea/coffee, computers/printing in the clubhouse, nice amenities, and the community is kept up pretty nicely (except yes, there is dog poop everywhere, but Ive seen them come around and try to clean it up maybe once a week). I moved into one of the completely upgraded units as I figured it was just a little more to have brand new appliances, etc. and its fabulous. My apartment is BEAUTIFUL, BUT lets talk about price. I feel like soon Ill be paying an arm and a leg for this place...Originally I was ok with the rent being at the top of my price range because of how I felt when I saw it and walked around the complex, but the added fees are going to be the death of me. The mandatory technology package is dumb in my opinion because its 2019 and lots of people have cut cable and just want/need internet, but living here you HAVE to pay for this $102 package (yes, I agreed to this fee obviously, Im just saying I think the technology package needs to have options or SOMETHING as I think Ive used my cable twice in 2 months). The other fees include some community fee (which the cost varies based on who knows), sewer, water, trash, and another service fee. I get having most of those fees but a trash fee?! As someone who brings my trash to the dumpster MAYBE 2x a month...I dont get the trash fee? Other places pick up your trash for you for $25, Im paying almost that to bring my trash to the dumpster...but whatever. Aside from my rent, I have my electric and gas bill separately, so while I do ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY APARTMENT and feel safe getting home very late after work, if the fees keep going up, I may have to move :(
I’ve been a resident for nearly one year and it’s been an ok experience. Pros- No roaches (I hear that’s common in Vegas) beautiful apartments, location is perfect (10min to the strip) Cons- Hidden fees, lets just say I’ve attempted to use the pools but never clean enough, no pool table or actual club room space for residents and at renewal all you get is the increase letter. I’ve been living in apartment communities that offer everything from a kitchen backsplash to a donut. Happy Renting or whatever.
We recently signed a lease to move into this property in 3 weeks. The staff is courteous, always greet you immediately when they see you walk in, and are patient with questions and concerns. We are relocating to Nevada after being away for many years and they have made the transition so much easier. We have been apartment dwellers for over 16 years and by far has exceeded all the others. We havent even moved in yet and are very pleased. We heard about them from another resident. This is a chapter in our lives we are truly looking forward to. Thank you Nichol, Josie, Cristina and the rest of the staff. Excellent service.
Speaking as a current resident of 2 years - The property was recently taken over by new management (BH Management) - the following problems I describe have persisted and new ones have arisen. In general, management is very unresponsive to resident comments and complaints, and the office staff often get defensive and refuse to acknowledge their mistakes, large and small. Rent is expensive and increased over 6% last year. In no way does it reflect a reasonable rate for living on this property. You are also nickel-and-dimed with extra fees at the end of the month, including a required $100 technology package that covers cable and internet, even if you dont want or use cable at all. Despite a Community Area Maintenance Fee (that can change without notice but usually is around $30), I regularly come across an unacceptable amount of trash and dog poop everywhere. The parking situation is abysmal - there are simply not enough spaces in certain sections of the complex and a surplus of spaces in others. Several sets of dumbbells have been missing from the state of the art fitness facility for months now, despite repeated attempts to get management to replace them. Access to pools is restricted for a sizable portion of the year. Gates are broken regularly and left open as a solution so the claim of a gated community is simply laughable. New programs have been introduced that residents cant opt out of (and that residents must pay for). A new online rent payment system has been introduced that makes split payments and partial payments an unnecessary hassle. Other residents have even experienced break-ins. The units themselves are nice, but any time you need to interact with management or office staff, expect to be given a hard time. Take my advice and DO NOT LIVE HERE.
Short description: DO NOT INVEST YOUR TIME AND MONEY IN THIS HORRIBLE PLACE. AMC OWNED PROPERTIES ASK MORE THAN WHAT THEY CAN GIVE YOU!!!!!Detailed: I have lived in this residence over 13 years and the quality that they offer for the crazy rent is crappy. A couple things that I can mention about the facilities here:The pool is dirty and the water isnt clean, sometimes the water is over-bleached.Also the people here smoke, drink, litter, and leave their pets feces all over the place. The mail station is very very filthy and there potential mail stealing because the doors are not locked. The exit and entrance gate fails to operate sometimes. When you ask the office staff to fix or replace something the result is bad.Its always easily broken and they delay the schedule time (every SINGLE TIME I ASK!)The old apartment model is what Torreyana neglects. If you cannot afford for the remodel apartments, please do not come here. The old model master and guest bathrooms both look and smell repulsive (without the proper fixtures, etc.)The office staff is nice, but the have very little concern for what anyone tells them!Maintenance is always late and horrible!
Gale is fantastic!!! They worked with us when it came time for us to move out even though our lease was up on the first. The office enviroment is very welcoming and the property is really gorgeous. Thank you Gale you really did make the stay with your residence very awesome. If your looking call this place!
Since the new company took over this place has gone to heck. DONT RENT. Not the nicest neighborhood especially at night. Their gate code is the number for their address not very smart. High Costs for fees you don’t use it. Call it their “resort fee”. As in when you look at the palms hotel and their room is 39$ and resort fee is $29. Same here. STAY AWAY PEOPLE AND STAY SAFE. I have not personally experienced but other residents also warranted me about bed bugs when I lived there.
Went in to tour this property and was amazed how the property was so beautiful. They did not have any two bedrooms to show us but the wonderful agent Devolia that helped us showed us the model and described the two bedrooms really good we was able to visualize it, her customer service was great and a plus in our decision making for we will have to deal with her if we become residents. Thanks Devolia for your help.
For the most part it is a a great place to live but I have the noisiest neighbors and everytime I call the office to complain it maybe stops for a day or two and then they go right back to their loud music. My husband even went to ask them to turn their music down and the guy put his hands on my husband. Nothing was done. For this reason we will not be resigning our lease when the time comes.
Clean relative to nearby pet friendly apartments. Everything has a fresh coat of paint and the landscaping is updated seasonally.
I recently signed a lease here. I worked with Josie. She is so great, She knows everyones names along with all their pets. They will give your pets a treat if you take them to the front office :)! The apartments are very clean, updated, and spacious.
Staff is amazing . They are very helpful in any situation. place is very clean, maintenance is very fast and efficient. GREAT place to live :)
Nice quiet established neighborhood..Easy access to the 215 freeway with 2 Exits Jones Blvd./rainbow Blvd. Close to everything. Major shopping hub Rainbow Blvd/215. Newly renovated. Mccarran airport 12 minutes away.
We initially rented here when it was owned by Camden and it was a clean and great place to live. Once AMC bought the property it went down hill. The rent of course increased along with a CAM (Common Area Maintenance)fee. The CAM fee is/was supposed to be used for areas that are utilized by the tenants. Security gates constantly did not work, mail room had trash on the floor all the time and dont think the floor had been cleaned in a year. Also I complained about lights being out for two months and it took me to fall for them to get one of the 2 repaired the other above my door was still not fixed when I vacated causing me always have to struggle to unlock my door.I also had my car broken into prior to moving out, which Im sure if the carport lights were not all out this might have been prevented. They want top dollar for rent as they compare market rate with brand new buildings as well as this fee and that fee. Stay away !!!!!! You will not get your monies worth here!
Tow truck drives around every night at 10p to screw people over- obviously it has nothing to do with safety or guest service as people have been parked in my spot multiple times and nothing was done about it. Extremely shady- $1000++ a month but the pool is filthy, the hot tubs are always cold and gate is usually broken. Oh, and good luck getting a response back from anyone. Plus theyre in league with cox cable. Comes automatically with rent. How very antiquated!
DO NOT RENT HERE !!!! This is by far the worst place you could live in Vegas . They charge you so many fees its insane. They charge you a cleaning fee yet this place is always a mess theres always trash and dog poop everywhere that never gets picked up, they charge you a fee for the gates (gates that NEVER work ) and the price to rent here is ridiculous considering what youre getting . The construction workers are loud and are drinking alcohol and smoking while theyre suppose to be working that should tell you enough about what type of work is being done in these apartments . Everything breaks easily . It smells like weed 24/7, they charge you water and they vary it on what everyone in the building is using and split it. so basically if your neighbor is running up the water bill youre stuck paying for it even if you werent home for that month and rarely used any water ! By far the worst place Ive ever lived /rented from . If you can find somewhere else please do so ! The pools are constantly dirty & youll be lucky if you can get any of the machines to work at the gym . Overall this has been the worst place to live ! Save your money and your time !
When I first came to tour I was shown a model in which I immediately had to have, I ended up leasing a two bedroom apartment. Two days before move in I went to finalize some paperwork, while there I asked to see the unit i was moving into. When shown the unit it was NOTHING like the one I was showed when I toured. The floors, the color of the walls, the fixtures...everything was completely different from what i was promised. When I explained my frustration they stated the only thing they can do was switch the unit for me but if changed the rent was also going to change. I explained to both the leasing consultant and manager that i had already switched all my utilities to that apartment and it would be an inconvenience for something that wasnt my fault. Being that it was too short of notice i ended up taking this new unit and paying the higher rent anyway. The parking spot to this new unit was two buildings down, i notified the leasing consultant about it and she offered herself to switch me to a closer parking spot in which i gladly accepted. Today I get a call saying that i have to move parking spots again because new residents moved in and need the current parking spot i am in. I call and speak to a manager and again there is nothing they can do AGAIN. This place is a JOKE. No one takes responsibility for anything. The gates have not worked since we moved in and neither has our card to access the gym.As far as parking spots go, all covered parking is taking by some driving school cars that never move. There has been literally three cars in the same spot for a week now! Please save yourself some time and do not get tied up with any type of lease at this place! Sincerely a VERY DISAPPOINTED RESIDENT!
Last year 2015.........Hubby and I moved here from the BAY where those NBA Champions Warriors do it BIG!!! Josie was Amazing!! Truly a consummate professional.....Everything at the Camden Pines was BOSS!!!!this post was last year......2015.....CAMDEN PINES...not Torreyana:(
The real TORREYANNA this place sucks. Gates are always closed. Maintance never shows up. Grounds are dirty and covered in dog poop. Bags never in the dog stations. Lazy office staff. I have pics but I cant add them . They let people park in your assumed spot and do nothing about it.
We moved here on May 31,2015 to unit 1018 and we where so happy until AMC took over thanks to the manger they hired, everything went down hill from there. Danielle Adams hardly took her job seriously. We started complaining that our apartment had mold in 2016 all they did was replaced our vinal in 2017 all they did was painted our cabinets in our master bathroom with a paint that was supposed to stop the mold and in our guest bathroom they cut out a little of the mold from the walls and just fixed it themselves without a perfesonals help. After all that I saw the mold was not completely gone and I came out with the surprise that they where calling me from my daughters elementary school from the nurses office saying I had to pick up my daughter because she had a rash and they think it is ringworm and she couldn’t go back to school until I had a doctors note saying it’s okay. I took her to the emergency room and they confirmed it. I was so devastated I went to the office and told them everything they said I had to leave to a hotel until they find a unit for me. The price had to be no more then $100 per night. A week later Danielle calls me saying she has a unit for me so I went to see it that same day for my surprise it was deeply penetrated with the smell of cigar apt 1150 so I told her she tried to act like I was crazy all she smelled was the smell of fresh paint of course I knew it was a lie and I found proof outside the building a very yellow curtain then she tried giving me a upstairs apartment I told her I don’t want upstairs she knows I have a 3year old I don’t want to be stressed with him running so she offered me another one but said it wouldn’t be ready until tomorrow but she couldn’t show me it yet but she said, “it’s a beautiful remodeled apt you’re gonna fall in love.” so I should put my gas and light to unit 1130 we where so happy but I felt like I couldn’t trust to just put my gas and power without seeing it. later that day I was feeling pain in my chest and a big headache I also wanted to faint but I told my husband it was late at night and he had to go to work early so i was gonna see how I felt the next day this symptoms where on and off in the past so I just thought they where gonna pass .Next day came and i felt worse so he rushed me to the hospital. The hospital couldn’t find nothing so they just referred me to another doctor they told me I had signs of mold. The next day came and the apartment was not ready she had no info she asked for us to go to a residence portal for further info then she finally says to me the the next day that the apartment is a higer price to take it or to break my lease. She forced us to leave because we couldn’t pay a higher price. I had to call the Terry law office for help because i was left without a home and no money thanks to paying the hotel and a storage she didn’t even pay me back and they lied saying we have no deposit when we paid $500 in 2015 and when I asked for a copy of my lease they just send me to that residents portal and no one has responded back . The assistant manager was no help either she couldn’t do anything because she has to go by what Danielle says. I tried to reach out to AMC and no one has got back at us it’s already been almost 2 months and I haven’t got a reply from the residence portal or AMC. I know there is more people with my same situation in Torreyana and I hope you guys have better luck then us for those that have not made a lease I would say don’t do it unless they change Manager.
I will say that the staff is nice yes but completely misinformed with a serious lack of training and customer service. As far as upper management I would compare their level of concern to those of employees at McDonalds. They show no respect for their paying tenants and try to pull money from you in any way. I read someones review saying that this place is safe and couldnt help but laugh. The 11th day I was living in Camden Pines my house got broken into and many of my valuables were stolen. When we reported the issue it came to light by another resident that there were just 5 more breaks ins in the previous month! I find this ironic because we asked if there were any breaks ins when moving in and were informed of none. I would never recommend someone living here because I would hate for anyone to go through what I have.
I wish I could give this place no stars..
Why doesnt the manager respond to negative reviews she only responds to the fake positive reviews written by he staff or freinds
SUPER RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!! I called & spoke to Malcolm C. over the phone about renting an apartment & he was super passive aggressive & just out right rude!!! RENT HERE if you want a HORRIBLE customer experience!!!
Living in Camden Pines is awesome!! Staff are very appreciative and very helpful.
Management and maintenance are completely understaffed. Floorplan for 2 bedroom really nice but move in condition dirty, dirty, dirty. Management would not even walk over to the unit to see condition of move in. i.e. mold in dishwasher, paint overspray, fans and filters filthy, blinds, sliders, windows all dirty. Maint staff nice but overworked, girls in office nice but overwhelmed. The place is basically quiet but there is trash and dog poop everywhere. The sidewalks are filthy and there is black tar on sidewalks and street and entrance to apartments as well as oil and other fluid that tracks muck everywhere. The place needs a few trash cans and a good pressure washing. The place seems pretty safe as they do a background check on everyone. I found upper management to be very arrogrant, quick to use intimidations and not sincere as to concerns of tenants and Its a crap shoot if you will be happy here or not.
They threw away my sandle and broom call that trash charge me $50 towed my got my car stolen and yet they think thats normal
Very clean
I lived here for years, it is a great place
TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT! LAZY AND RUDE! THEY CHARGE MORE YEARLY! I WILL NEVER GO BACK!
This is a call for the owner for this aparments, please contact me!!!!Thank you
I had a rental application denied because they failed to contact me and tell me that I owe $455, I’m not sure for what exactly, but I really wish they made an attempt to contact me before anything.
Horrible
Everything is perfect!!!!!!!!!
