My first experience here yesterday with my daughter and it was excellent. I used to get my nails done all the time and a set of acrylics or fill or gel would take over an hour, it took less than 30 minutes and the quality and end product is gorgeous! They were patient with my 9-year old for her manicure and pedicure and took care to make sure her nails were just as beautiful and dry before we left. The price was great and they were well worth the tip. A hidden gem in Lacey and we’ll for sure be back!

Terrible painting skills. The design is horrific & obviously not matching. I asked for a thin French with a design. Yikes!! I won’t be going back to see these guys. I think the gals name is Dani. I went somewhere else and got it fixed see after photo.

This salon is clean and staff are nice but the quality of work is an issue. Nails were cut too short, uneven cut and filed nails, nail polish was splattered on my palms and other parts of my hand without being removed, and it took 3 different staff to be able to complete a simple gel nail.

This was the best salon in Washington. The people were so nice and it was very fancy and they did the marble design so well. Im going to come here from now on :)

This is maybe the best dip manicure Ive ever had. The technician was skilled, professional, and kind. I will definitely go back.

I was worried I wasnt going to get an appointment because I was a walk in on a Saturday. I was seated after 20 minutes which was amazing. The shaping he did was spectacular! He shaped it about 7x and I didnt have to ask! Will definitely be going back.

I walked into this salon to get my acrylics taken off ( new job does not allow nails ). Mind you, I have had my nails taken off in the past and everywhere I went charged me 5 and I always tip extra to make up for their time, and for not making my nails look like a dog bit them off, after. The lady at Galaxy Nails picked at my nails until my nail bed was turning red and almost started bleeding. It was so painful I ended up holding my wrist so I wouldnt pull away. When I did this the lady looked up at me and rolled her eyes. When she was done she charged me $25 when they told me it would be $10. At this point it wasnt about the cost it was the fact my nails looked like where attacked by an animal. This was the most painful unprofessional nail salons I have ever been to.

Ive been going to Lak for a few years now. I love our relationship and look forward to seeing him every couple of weeks. He makes an extraordinary effort to make sure I always leave his chair happy 😊

I went to see Jessie pretty late in the day (545/6) and she still offered me very great quality and wasnt rushed. I would highly recommend this place to any of my ladies. Jessie made sure I was comfortable and always asked if her work was good or if I didnt like something. She offered a new nail style and shape that looks AMAZING on my slender hands. The atmosphere was friendly, relaxing and comfortable. Already have my Next Fill and Pedi appointment. 💕

This place is awesome. Service is outstanding, value is unbelievable, and Im always happy with my nails. Its so refreshing after being more and more disappointed with every visit to my old nail place. Galaxy is WAY out of my way (I live in west Olympia and work in Tumwater), but its worth the trip. I dont know what else to say... just go once. Youll see what I mean!

Best nail salon in the Thurston County area!

Our toes were amazing. However our fingers were awful to say the least. She smudged our nails and told us they were fine. She tried to give me a back massage and it felt like she was ripping my arms off and tried to break my back. Our friend who doesn’t know anything about nails thought they looked horrific. Also when I asked if they had a fake gold gem to put on my nails she said no, then took the gold gems and tried to move them out of my sight. When we told them what we wanted she basically did what she thought looked best? I thought that nail salons were for getting your nails done how you wanted them, not how they preferred you to look.!

Lac is the best with nail application and technique. He takes pride in his skill and shows care while handling your hands. The best experience Ive had world wide.

I got a pedicure here and the next day mytoe is all red and puffy, and has an infection.Edit:Both me and my girlfriend got pedicures and both of us have toe nails that now have infections.

Felt like we were cattle. Just in a process line. And our jell peeled off after a week.

Went for a gel mani and pedi. Both turned out fantastic and were priced at $25 each. Color selection included extensive CND Shellac, OPI, Orly, Kiara Sky, China Glaze, and a couple others. Interior was beautiful massage chairs were great. If you use a card to pay, please be sure to tell them your tip before they process! =)

I found this place because the nail salon I usually go to was closed both times I wanted to get my nails done, but I am not disappointed at all! This place is awesome and they did such a great job on my nails. I received a pedicure and the massage was amazing! The nail tech took her time and gave me a very relaxing massage. As a matter of fact, it was one of the best massages I have ever had. Galaxy nails is now my go to nail salon because of the great work that they do. Thanks Galaxy Nails!!!!!!

They were okay, I took my mother in law and my daughter here for a birthday to get our nails done. They did a okay job when showing the flowers we wanted they claimed they couldn’t do it. Or do any of the ideas I wanted for my nails. She kept telling my 7 year old to hold still and was very rude to her. My daughter wasn’t even moving she was just excited to have the experience. I couldn’t believe the way she talked to her

The atmosphere at this place is very warm, comfortable, and classy. I got a Luxury Pedicure while pregnant, and my toes ended up looking great!! The massage chair was wonderful, and the nail technician was very nice and offered us complementary bottles of water. Would definitely go back!!

Tech had an incredibly hard time getting my 2 week old acrylics off and stabbed under my nails several times trying to slide a tip under the acrylic between it and my real nail.

Do NOT go here! The lady who did my nails did a horrible job all of my nails where sideways and very uneven from each hand, the paint job was goopy and horrible, and to add onto it they fell off the next day! There is a reason this place is cheap! There untrained and rush the job!

Jenny did an awesome job on my pedicure. Very meticulous nipping and trimming cuticle and excess skin. She also picked a nice neutral polish for me incorporating three different colors to achieve a perfect effect! Will definitely return.

I have been to a few nail places and I really enjoy this one the best. They take their time with your service. They will not rush you out the door. They have no problems asking people to come back if they are to busy to give you the best service they can. They bring you water and constantly make sure you are taken care of. Bonus: they are open from 11-4 on Sundays.

Ive been going to Happy Nails for a few years but decided to give Galaxy Nails a try. I scheduled an appointment and was very happy with my choice. Ein was very gentle, while also being proficient, efficient, and professional. I will definitely return.

Didnt feel very welcomed when I first arrived however the atmosphere is gorgeous, was warmed up to over time and it felt very clean. Got a full set and was very happy with the results! Would go back again.

The girl I had was unprofessional she was on the phone the whole time she was suppose to be doing my nails, took almost a whole 2 hours just to do a ombre red and black gel acryalics. Also, think they were sorta racist and prioritized their non colored customers

I’m trying to find that nail salon that is able to do a simple natural nail look. Each nail was a different length, uneven and think. It looked okay while there but once I got outside in bright natural light I couldn’t believe my eyes . Not going back.

I took my daughter here before she left to go back to California and she got her nails done by Lac. At first I was worried because he had wanted to put a new set on her nails because her old nails were done really poorly. Unfortunately with limited funds I was not able to pay for a full set. At this point I was really worried that he wasnt going to do the greatest job because he did not have the best nails to start with. I was wrong. Lac went out of his way to do an amazing job on my daughters Nails she was beyond excited and they looked absolutely fantastic. Thank you for taking my sows ear and turning it into a silk purse lack we will be back.

Was a walk in and I made it just in time they were very busy but I didnt feel rushed at all ...1 hr later my nails done and $40 later I was very happy. .there were at least 7 people who walked in while I got my nails done probably should call ahead ... complimentary water and nice clean n quiet place ...thanks Diana for the great nails ...deffinatly my new go to place

This my first time coming here and upon walking in I thought it was going to be great. Well they told us about 20 minutes, after waiting 30 minutes they took my sister and did her fill. While waiting on her they grabbed 3 females that came in and I assumed it was because they wanted pedicures and from experience I know everyone in the shop does not do fills or manicures. So I figured no big deal. The current time Ive been waiting now is a little over 1 hour. Then they bring one of the ladies that came in after me up to do her fill. Im not one to make a scene so instead I let the guy know Ive been waiting as well. He told me okay and he will get to me next. Needless to say that did not sit well with me after waiting 1 1/2 hours. They environment was amazing and I think it could have been a much better experience but I did not receive that today. I was very disappointed because I was actually looking forward to trying this place as it is closer to my house then where I usually go.

I would give more than 1 star because the woman who did my pedi probably deserves a 3, as she did an good job. However, my nails are another story hence the 1 star. The edges were not covered and started lifting in 2 days, he filed the tips off after polishing them and they were too thin. Here are a few other reasons I have told everyone where and will never go back, he continually answered the phone and delayed my fill, and the entire time he complained that I was a walk-in. Every time he hung up the phone he either made a comment about making an appointment or gave me a look. This visit took over 2 hours. Most of it my fill. I will never go back, which probably suits the owner just fine as he prefers everyone makes an appointment. Suggestion - find another nail salon.

I got my nails done and within 3 hours of getting them done nail polish was coming off and a nail fell of within 1 day. It was horrible. I didnt eaven get what I wanted.

I have been to Galaxy Nails and like the atmosphere and technicians. Their hours are limited compared to the other local nail spas. I have been turned away the last 2 visits because of their opening hours, even if there was still 3 hours before closing. When they become full, they start cutting customers off even if we are willing to wait. I want to patronize the spa but after being turned away twice, I will not be going back. T-Spa has been my go to and I enjoy going there.

Loved the mini backrub while my cuticles soaked!! My manicure was the best since I have left San Francisco!! I like that the girl didnt chat my ear off. It made for a calm experience.

I was very excited when this nail.salon had first opened up. The service was amazing and my nails looked great. Lately I noticed a decline in effort on my services provided from this nail salon; for instance, when getting pedicures the water temperature was ALWAYS cold. I asked the nail tech multiple times to add hot water and she refused. On top of that for the price I paid (delux with extra 10min foot massage) I got a half ass job done on my feet. Very disappointing.The manicure station was ...alright. The only thing I recommend is that they start cleaning their UV lights used on gel nails for sanitation and health precaution safety and that they listen to their customers more in order to provide a better experience.

So my review is going from a 2 star to 5. Once the owner was made aware of my concerns he did everything in his power to fix them. I was welcomed warmly. And they have increased the color of gel they gave.My two year old post:So I was NEVER asked if I wanted my toe nails cut shorter. I had to tell her while she was filing. She NEVER took toe nail clippers and clipped them shorter. I had to ask her 4x to cut them shorter. She used the cuticle clippers to take a thin layer off.When she finally realized and I kept asking for them to be clipped THEN filed they were so short it hurt!While I was asking for my toes to be trimmed the tech next to me was giving me dirty looks.I have gotten my nails and toes done SO many times and I have NEVER NOT BEEN ASKED IF I WANTED THEM CUT SHORTER! The fact that she NEVER used clippers is irritating enough. Now my toes are filed to short and hurt.If I ever visit again doubtful that I ever will this should be corrected.Also the fact that other employees go into a back room and every minute come peeking around the corner then rush back smiling like they are chatty high school students should be addressed by the owner. It is not welcoming when they are doing that.

I recently relocated to this area and was trying to find a good nail salon within a reasonable distance of DuPont. Galaxy Nails is perfect - reasonable prices, great selection of polish, beautiful work, friendly staff, and all in a clean and relaxing environment. Sure, there are other places that may be closer and do similar quality work, but this place is GREAT!

My experience here is always great...I always go to the same ppl (the guy and lady that sits directly behind checkout area) Ive been coming here since moving to olympia a year ago and I want go anywhere else. Great prices, lots of gel colors, friendly, and customer service is awesome

Great customer service. I took my 5yo daughter in with me so we could get a mommy and me pedicure. The last place we went to they only painted her nails. Here they gave her a warm soak, filed and buffed her toenails and even gave her little legs a nice massage. The guy working on her gave her a dum dums (suckers) and they even gave her a small bottle of water. They really treated her like a princess. I was very happy with my pedicure as well. Well definitely be back!

The first time was awful didnt last three days, but I did my nails one month ago and the gel was awesome i still have my nails well donw

It was ok. Not outstanding by any means. The nail techs were nice enough; mine didnt say a word to me the whole time other than ask what color I wanted. The thing Im most disappointed about though is my actual manicure. When I pay $30 for a shellac manicure, I expect it to last at least 2-3 weeks. However this one is already peeling up after 1 week! And its not like I do anything crazy with my hands, just normal day to day stuff; typing, washing my hands, dishes, etc. The other 2 girls I went with had a shellac manicure too, and theirs are also peeling off already. Its a bit disappointing.

This place is hit or miss. Ive been here 4 times and the first 2 times were great. But this last time. They were busy and rushed through mine and my friends pedicure. They did the bare minimum and left my feet rough and the nail polish she only did 1 coat and looked like I did it. The man that works there is also kind of ride to his customers I think hes the owner. He sends people away rudely if theyre busy and once went back on his word with a customer on a price and when she left he talked bad about her to everyone for like 20 min and said if shes cant pay the extra $5 then she probably wont tip either so glad she left)..rude! I think Im done with this place even though its clean and pretty in there

By far the WORST nail salon experience i ever had.I will start off by saying i made an appointment with galaxy nails to get a Fill & color change. They asked me what i wanted to do, and I showed them a picture on Pinterest of pink and white ombré nails . I kindly asked them if that was something they could do and the lady told me 100 excuses in the book to convince me that i should not get them solely because SHE DIDNT WANT TO TAKE THE TIME TO DO THEM. When i sat down the nail tech asked me what i was doing and I told her the ombré, she looked at me and laughed and said “we have to start from scratch” with a huff at the end and shook her head and rolled her eyes. mind you i just got these set of acrylics on and absolutely nothing was wrong with them, she said everything she could to put it off so she didn’t have to do my nails including “i don’t want to take all this time and waste it and not know if you will like it” and laughed. At that point i was about to walk out, but she already took my polish off. So i asked if she could do a solid color and the one nail with flowers she flat out told Me “no they don’t do that there” and lastly during my fill i asked if she could fix up my cuticles and she got annoyed that i asked her. i ended up just getting a solid color and doing something i didn’t want. They were completely rude and unprofessional and i wouldn’t recommend them to ANYONE. In my eyes I’m paying $40-60+ For nails to come out HOW I WANT. This is their job and they refused to actually do it the right way, don’t waste your time or money on them.
