So my mom went to the nail shop and showed a photo of what she wanted and the owner said “Yes I can do that.” So after the appointment, the photo was the outcome of what he did versus what was asked for… Why can’t any nail shop just deliver with quality AND design?!I just hate paying for something and not being happy with it…
There was a wait. My appointment was 6:30pm...they called me right on time. The salon was nice. Masks were on faces. But, my nails and toes color was supposed to match. I was advised that they would. But, they do not. They didnt tell me the price of my pedicure. Im thinking $35.00. They are thinking new customer cost...$55.00. The cost could be $35.00, $45.00 or $55.00. So, they charged the maximum. But, did my feet deserve the cost of $55.00? No they didnt. I paid $95.00 for full set and pedicure. Get your cost before sitting in their chair. Very expensive.
The man that did my pedicure did a good job, there are still a few spots that are rough, but it is WAY better than when I went in. My complaint is that the foot “massage” was with such a light touch, I didnt realize he was doing a foot massage until I looked down. I had the $30 pedi, I didnt get a leg massage or “scrub” as I have in other places for the same price, but maybe the one I paid for was not supposed to come with it.
Tu and Phong are the most amazing nail techs in Tennessee. I moved to Chattanooga for 3 years, and searched for anyone even close to comparable. Never happened. So I moved back to Knoxville. Lol. And my nails and toes look beautiful. They are sweet, professional and fast, while still providing a perfectionist girl exactly what she asks for:) Their gel nails and toes never chip, even w my very active lifestyle. Thank you!!!
So I love this Nail Salon!! Come here as often as I can! Had my wedding nails done here in September and loved them so much that I came today to have the same lady do a different version of them on my toes. I absolutely love them! Thank you #2 (don’t want to disrespect the spelling of her name cause I don’t know how to spell it but they know who I’m talking about lol).
I had a great experience got my toes done and they came out great. Not to mention the lady got the ingrown nails out which I have been fighting for months. The wait was a bit long but I didn’t have and appointment and walked in right after another lady. They didn’t talk much but everyone was nice when they did.
Took my daughters here a month back and it was a wonderful experience, today had a girlfriend from out of state visit and she asked where is a good place to get nails.. i thought of Diamonds... Well it was horrific.. she wanted had a certain way she likes them done. He was argumentative and was tell her she was wrong and he was the tech expert.. needless to say we had to listen and how she was wrong and when we spoke up he was very aggressive about it..this experience here was worse then trying to buying a used car... what started as a good day turned out in disaster..
Absolutely live Twi! She can do anything! They have a great place and the Service is great!
They did a wonderful job for a Mans Pedicure. This is much better for some people (you will have to decide) than going to the foot doctor if you want nails trimmed and then shaped for smooth nails. they also do an excellent job on ladies nails and Pedicures with polish. There is a large selection of Nail polish colors for Ladies to choose from . I found there prices to be very reasonable for the services preformed.
Great place!! Making appointment is ideal because so many people walk in!
They do a good job.
They did a terrible job on my nails. The stuff started coming off within a week.
They done an Amazing job on my nails!! Highly recommend Diamond Nails
Love them. Im always pleased everytime I leave!
Had a pedicure today. I was a walk-in & they got me in quick. Great quality pedicure. Really good massage chairs. Very clean. Staff very pleasant and personable. Am very pleased. Would recommend to others.
I love this place, its my go to! They do such a great job. There was one visit when someone was rushing and do a great job and my polish bubbled and started to pop open, but thats one visit in a busy time.
I love it. The nail techs there are great every one of them have done my feet or hands and have gone above and beyond in their services.
Nails popped off within a week. She refused to fix them. Mind you Id not been working or doing anything to make them pull up. It hurt when it ripped off. $35 pedicure lasted 20 minutes. No massage. No hot towels. They are awful.
I really like my nails. I got black with a silver ring finger. They were very polite. Not too expensive.
Phong is the best. He takes his time and makes sure each and everyone of my nails are perfect. One of the few places in Knoxville I would go.
Service was well received
The worst place in ever. I got gel nails done and in less than a week they where peeling off. I have been getting gel nails for years and have even done a complete bathroom remodel with gel nails and they never once started to peel. I will never be back. But the older lady there was so sweet and actually tried. While the younger guy was in a hurry and did a an awful job.
I went for a pedicure. Everyone was so nice, lots of colors to choose from and a very relaxing environment!
I got the powder nails. They turned out thick. I have had them done better where they look more natural. I got a pedicure as well. I wish he had used a foaming soap bomb or something to start off the spa pedicure but it was just plain ole water. The temperature was perfect though and he did a good job on my feet. He only used 1 hot towel for both of my feet and just let it stay on less then a minute. Hot towels are one of the luxuries of the spa treatment. Felt a little cheated on that one. I was a walk in and they got me in within 20 min. Which was great!
I just went in a couple days ago and I showed a pic of how I wanted my nails to be filled in after having had a dark color of red with s snow flake and my ring finger was silver but I wanted s fill in with French tip with pointer finger having glitter and the rest French they said no I would need mine taken off and dips done so I was trying to pick something different and was rushed to sit in chair and I found a diff pic that was clearly French with as I described above oh yes he said we can do that and proceeded to do the fill in and then got to the polish part he said oh we do something different more holiday which he said he could do the French but then continues with just s couple shades lighter red and glitter in ring finger I asked well can you at least do snow something long.story short get to pay at register of cost me 38 35 for what I asked for though would have only been 15 20 at most I had to pay and i left 3 tip but Im so mad for 35 i could have gotten the dips and got what i wanted instead i have just a shade lighter than I had before fill in so so so upset they dont tell you how much extra stuff is gonna cost before providing service paid for wont go back the total keeps going up each time Ive been Im good I cant afford to keep paying for something Im not happy with
Very disappointed. Walked in at 11 on a Saturday and they only had three people working. I was greeted and told it wouldn’t be long. They said the same thing to the other customers who entered. I ended up waiting 45 minutes and just ended up leaving. I will not be back.
I love this nail salon! Ive been going to this salon for about 6 months and every single time I visit, Im impressed. They always do a great job and exactly what I ask for.
They do a really good job on my nails everytime. I would recommend making an appointment because their wait time for walk ins is high.
I called on a holiday when all other stores were closed and the kind man I talked to told me to come in and hed meet me there when all other places where closed. I will ALWAYS go to this salon. He took his time and I was very pleased.
I love this place and the people are nice. I have been going for 10 years. Diamond Nails do a good job.😊
I have been going there for 3 years. They do an excellent job. I can find a design online and Thu can recreate it or close to it. It is clean and they are friendly.
The prices are affordable and they have glow in the dark and color changing dip powders
Id give 0 stars if I could. I will not be returning to this place. I was a loyal customer for months I will take my 70 plus dollars a month somewhere else nail salons a dime a dozen extremely rude.
Beyond excellent they always do a great job and my nails stay looking good longer then 2 weeks which is my normal time between fill ins. Always helpful and always willing to take me even after they shouldnt. Over all I love going here!!!
We were immediately greeted and were seated within 5 minutes. Calvin our tech was very funny and made us very comfortable. Prices were decent. Nails look great! Will definitely be back.
They are the best nail salon in Knoxville!! Thu,Calvin and Phong! Thank you for beautiful pedicures and manicures!!!
People were very nice. I went for a fill in from having my nails done from a previous place that I didnt like at all. Thank you diamond nails!
100 percent would recommend, I didn’t catch the mans name that did mine but I LOVE THEM! He took time to make sure they were all even and that I was happy with them before he continued!
Absolutely wonderful! The staff is friendly and polite and the atmosphere is very laid back. I felt like they really tried to accommodate walk-ins even though they were very busy.
I have been going to Diamond Nails for several months now and I have always had a wonderful experience with them. They do a superb job and I am constantly getting complimented on how great my nails look. I highly recommend them to all of my friends every chance I get!
Calvin is very good and very friendly but the prices are too high.
They do a great job on nails and feet, just great people
I had gone to this salon off and on for over 10 years. A friend and I went in to get pedicures and were there for 3 hours while they kept taking other clients without an appointment in before us. We gave them another chance because we had been going there for so long and went to have manicure dips done. They made us soak our fingers in pure acetone for 30 minutes! Thats highly toxic because it is absorbed through the skin. The nail tech then proceeded to make me keep soaking my fingers in it one hand at a time while he was working on the other hand. Thats at least 45 minutes of soaking in acetone for each hand. When I told him other salons didnt make is soak so long he became very rough with my hands twisting them roughly and hurting me! I will NEVER go back. I wish I could leave 0 stars.
Two is number 1. Always perfection in her knowledge, her work and pleasant personality.
I am disappointed in this salon. I have been to several different nail salons in Knoxville and they have been okay but the quality eventually went down. I eventually started doing my own gel nails at home. After a few weeks of doing that, I wanted to go get them done because I was too tired to do my own. I tried Diamond Nails because it is very close to my house and I had never been there. When I went in, I had an open mind, thinking “how bad can it be?” First of all, they had a very slim selection of colors but it was fine. I found one that I wanted and took it to the table. The man who did my “manicure” did not say more than 5 words to me. I chose a light color which requires a few coats since it’s light...well needless to say, I have spots where you can see through the polish. My manicure consisted of him pushing back my cuticles and filing my nails into no particular shape. I also got glitter on my ring fingernails and you can see straight through that as well. I had to stand and wait for him to tell me where to pay while he played with his phone and when we got up to the desk, he stood there and read a piece of paper. I then asked how much, he told me $20, I handed it to him along with a small (way too generous) tip, and he said “thanks, appreciate it.” There was no customer service skill whatsoever. They didn’t tell me to have a good day, ask how it was, or anything. I will not be returning to this salon. I guess I’ll just have to practice getting better with doing it myself. Good thing I didn’t lose more than $20.
They are very polite and work very hard. Thank you for always doing a great job!
I enjoyed my visit. I got a manicure and pedicure today!! The man that did my nails was not very talkative, but did hes job. I was satisfied!!
Very disappointed. No one greeted me as I entered. Theres no sign in sheet. The floor tiles arent even completed. They dont go all the way to the wall. Why?I didnt wait too long before getting to sit in pedi chair. But they didnt do a good job. My nails werent trimmed, werent filed. I had to ask them to specifically trim my big toe nails. The worst part was the owners children. They were napping in a back room. All I heard was a 3 year old whining.Someone else did my manicure. Same thing, didnt trim them. Slopping polish job. Sorely disappointed.I also didnt like that the woman stood over me and watched me put the tip on the credit card receipt...Wont go back!Unprofessional.
Went there for a full acrylic set. LOVED it. They were done well and lasted 6 weeks
I like this place because it is quite and not uptight, I generally get a pedi but this past week I wanted my nails done, I have had better customer service but for the price the service was great. Might just need to work on your customer service skills.
I wont be coming back. Started going here 11 years ago and they used to do nails pretty good. Over the past 5 years that I have been going every now and then the nails are horrible. Including todays. Awful nail job, my natural nails were left looking thick. I dont do fake nails. Im pretty sure the woman didnt speak English either because she couldnt tell me they didnt accept amex obviously thats why it declined, but I didnt know they didnt accept it either. Took a little over an hour to paint my nails just paint them. Idk not the same as before. And another note not every white girl likes their nails square. Were not all basic.
Good place will come back again I got a full set for $30 and it only took an hour!
Loved the whole experience. Treated like a princess. Cant say a bad thing about any part of it!
Price is good, first 2 times they did my nails they turned out okay. Last 2 times I wasnt happy with my nails.
This is the second time I go to this Nail Salon. And I was shocked how rude the people are over there. They need to learn customer service. Never going back to this place again.
Awesome place for a GUY...yes GUY to get a pedicure.
I followed my nail tech here from another shop. Though I loved my nail tech, I hated the atmosphere of this place and I was extremely glad when he left. When walking through door, the owners never greeted me or other African American patrons. Often times when I would call, they would lie and say my nail tech was booked they were jealous of him having lots of business. They were extremely unsanitary and would not clean the tools because the UV light was broken did not want to pay to fix it. I was so happy when my nail tech left and am glad he is at a better shop that has better polish, friendly, serves wine, extremely clean, and conveniently located. If you’re looking for my tech, jack, he is at Divine Nails on Western Ave!!!!
I’ve had the Best pedicures at Diamond Nails! They are very thorough....No other place comes close. Atmosphere isn’t fancy but the quality of the service keeps me going back. They aren’t always welcoming or very friendly with you if your not a regular. I’m more of a summertime pedi gal. So I’m not a regular. That does bother me when I take my daughter and Mom and actually make appt so they know we are coming. Take the good with not so good.
4 hours later. My sister and I came in for 2 pedicures a full set and a paint. It took an hour for both of us to be seen and another 2 for her to get a color change and both of our pedicures. I’m not happy. I didn’t even get my nails done.We arrived at 11 and it’s currently 3, she’s still being seen and I just gave up
The Best Place In Knoxville Tn 😍😍😍 Good And Clean WorkIm Just Public A Pic Of My Nails Hand and Foot After 1 Month and 1 Week And Still 😍😍 4/31/18. By ThoI Move Out Of State And Im Start To Miss Them...My Favorite People Tho and Her Husband
I went to Diamond nails for the 1st time the other day and I was very satisfied. I got a pedi and a full set and the guy that did them did a great job. I will be returning when its time for a fill in.
BEST pedicure I have ever had in my life 👣❤️ thank you Kim!
Went and got my feet and nails done yesterday and it was a wonderful experience. .. everyone was super nice my nails look great!!!
Just moved to Knoxville and it was the first time I went, read the reviews and figured Id give it a chance. I didnt see them as friendly at all, they seemed annoyed because I had gel polish on my toes that had to come off. Then they spent hardly anytime at all with scrubbing of my feet. Had my nails done too, after he was done he didnt even say thank you. He just walked away to the next customer, which showed in the tip I gave him, I would of generally tipped like $8 for nail and pedi, but I gave him $3. The place is not the cleanest either. I think I can find better in Knoxville and I will be looking.
Love this place
These people.... I am amazed they are still in business... the attitude that just oozes from ALL the MEN in this place is just ridiculous the highlight of my visit was the young lady that greeted me. I would NOT recommend this nail salon to my worst enemy. Oh and they over charge fie bad service NEVER EVER AGAIN . Its really a very very sad state of affairs
I have never left a bad review online before. Google rates this place pretty high, but I feel obligated to warn other customers. I rely on reviews when trying new places, and thats why I chose Diamond Nails. Ill provide my experience- you be the judge. I went for a gel french manicure with a friend. First impression- I was not greeted. There are spider webs on the nail menu. The floor is dirty. There is nail dust COVERING each nail station. The tools are not cleaned between customers. There was a techs food (which was not moved) sitting on the desk at the station I sat at while waiting for my friends manicure to finish. I was made to feel immediately like I was a chore. Although my first impression was poor, I dont need a fancy salon if the manicurist does a great job, so I stayed.Eventually, my friend and I were shown to seats. The tech never smiled or made eye contact. She did not ask what color I wanted, if I wanted round or square tips, and she did not accept opinions. She grabbed my hands and quickly sanded my nails with a machine and then painted. That was it!!! She did not soak my finger tips, she did not push back my cuticles, she did not clean my nails, she did not lotion my hands... nothing! Every other manicure Ive ever had included nail care, not just polish. I asked that she use a cloudy light pink with the french tips. I said I did not want it to look like clear polish but light pink. I even pulled out a pinterest picture of light pink nails with french tips to make sure we were on the same page. She told me she knew what she was doing, and then painted them clear! Not only did she refuse to use cloudy light pink polish, I now have shellac OVER my cuticles and around the side cracks of my nails. Feels like superglue on my skin. She was nothing but rude and avoidant. I was clearly an inconvenience that she wanted to rush through. I think it took all of 10 minutes for each of us. I should mention that I had made an appointment- so there was no excuse for rushing. This place should be called Speedy Nails, and charge about $8 for the paint, because thats all they provide. At the end of the visit there was confusion over the price. My friend had asked for just a basic manicure, and was charged for the gel manicure (which she got but didnt realize cause shed never had one). We made it very clear she wanted a basic and I wanted gel beforehand. Anyway, she willingly offered to pay the full price for the services provided. But when the confusion occurred the tech shouts across the salon to her coworkers and proceeded to have a long conversation about us in a another language. Shouting back and forth about us, in front of us, in another language. There were about 5 other customers in the salon, so it was incredibly uncomfortable. The entire experience was horrible, totally regret it.
My experience was horrible. Was told to sit in pedicure chair . Sat there for 30 minutes, I have been getting pedicures for years. If they were running behind. At least they could have run water to soak my feet. Sat there with feet in empty basin. Got shoes back on, put keys in hand and left. No one ever said anything to me to make me welcome. Will never enter those doors again. Was it my skin color there?
Great job, always fit me in.. a little pricey for a fill.. $30... just my opinion..
Worst place to get your nail at if your of a another race . Cause we called to setup a appointment the next day at 12 o’clock. So we get there 15 minutes early so he’s still working on one client so my daughter get a pedi while he working on the first client. Then we thinking we going to be next then another clients comes and get her nails remind you we had a appointment at 12 we didn’t say anything so I look at my phone and it’s 12:24 he’s still working with the second client so another client comes in starts working on a whole new client so we talking to each other saying I wonder what she getting done so I ask him what she getting done cause we had a appointment at 12:00 and it’s already 12:40 and starting to sand her nails down not even starting on anything else. I say to my daughter we have a appointment 12:00 and he to be doing my daughter nails and he say rhis other woman has a appointment to we need to wait. That unprofessional why say 12:00 if we have to wait a hour and some change when I was there at 11:35 am. Just remember we had to wait on 3 clients before my daughter was going to get to be seen. And didn’t try to apologize or say i’ll give you a discount for your time. Nothing but try and get my face and say you better listen to him saying she has a appointment to yes after my daughter not before. Will never go there to save my life again rude and unprofessional.
Jack did a great job on my gel nails and was nice .
The worst experience I’ve ever had. The man that was doing my nails was extremely rude and refused to use the color that I brought in then charged my friend 5.00 more for something she didn’t ask for.
Calvin did a great job on my gel manicure!!
Second time going here & both times walked out no service. They need a sign in sheet bc both times Ive had the workers call their usual walk in customers before me even though I was there first. Bad business.
Does really good nails
Treated you well, made sure you were comfortable.
I will never go there again. I may an appointment and 45 mins later I am still waiting. No they are not that good . Especially to have customer service like that. I am trying tek nail rating is higher.
Ive been having a a horrible time finding a nail shop in Knoxville so i decided to try this one based off a family recommendation. BIG MISTAKE! They were extremely rude and uninviting! I felt beyond uncomfortable as they talked especially considering the only words i could understand were Medicare, section 8 housing and food stamps? Did i mention how ruff tge nail tech was!
If its busy find somewhere else. They dont handle busy! But if its more laid back they do an ok job!My experience was I called ahead and they said they had an opening but upon arrival every seat was full? I took my toddler with me to get our nails done together and we sat for 45 min in a chair before anyone even came to check on us. I almost got up to leave but then a tech came over and started filling my basin of water. They werent happy when I told them that I just wanted them to paint my toddlers nails bc we were having a special girls day. They kept asking if I was sure?? All I wanted was a mani/pedi for my daughter and I and it took 2 STINKIN hours! Then I didnt get a foot massage, no lotion on my hands, and very rough service bc they were busy. I think Ill find another place to go next time.
They are always friendly and accommodating.
They do great work
Love them there amazing.
Worst experience ever! Tech wiped nose didnt wash hands they were rude and unprofessional i took a picture while there of tech randomly napping durring my pedi! I would love to upload it but not sure how!
Diamond Nails is great place for manicures pedicures. Friendly people.
Rude and impatient. Over charged and I didnt even get what I wanted. I requested a mana cure and only got polish
Ok but over priced. I paid 55 for a nail dip and gel removal.
I have been coming here for 8 years. Moved to chattanooga and still drive here for service once a month. Yeah, you may have to wait for awhile sometimes, but in long run it is so worth it. I tried several other places in Chattanooga and regreted it every time.
Best pedicure ever!!!
Friendly staff. Clean. New chairs
Didnt stay on long
Love this place!!!
Great
Love it!!
